Most Quentin I face are super toxic. Except unlike other, hes super good at chase.
Once hes got Bloodwarden trapped, within getting a hit at gate, he only got killed by Entity at the end of EGC
Toxic Quebtin has the highest escape rate in my games
-
I did 75% of a Gen. And he started to chasing me. After a few sec he went to Tier3. I could see that team mate feed him alot.
I was about to take hit, I accepted my fate. Except it was a hit, it was a Mori.
Now back to talk about the feeding...

I love fighting SWF as it’s great practice for whatever killer I’m playing
You cant practice Trapper facing 3 OoO

Trapper in Hawkin?
I can tell we never met

I had a game like that. It was easy, too, because the killer decided to camp the first person he downed, so we could finish some gens, and then as we unhooked them with 3 survivors (while being in a solo queue, mind you, although i dont know for the rest), he choose to tunnel the guy out. At that point we just had to find the hatch.
Nice how keys counter those playstyles.
I had similar match vs PH. That one tunnel me to death. I build was full healing (Botany, We will make it, Autodidact, Empathy) so without any 2nd chance I died in 4 hits.
Somehow I did a good job at chasing that match, 1 noticed Im tunneled and try to take a hit then do Gen, while other 2 also do Gen.
I died, 1 Gen left, other 3 escaped with a key from hatch. i would be mad if PH got more than 2k
-
There were people saying "just cleanse totems" to counter Ruin Undying.
Except Undying reveal aura on survivors on any totems, Hex or Dull. You got spotted even without doing main objective.
-
Im a Trapper main too, my goal in playing is fair play but rather quick game, or to punish the toxic.
Save the best for last / Blood warden / Noed / Rancor
A brown bag + anything but coil.
Early game I focus on checking basement, if basement isnt near where I spawn, I will go for 3 Gen instead of basement.
I mostly ignore survivors who want to chase, only hit them and I continue on my traps. I only start the game when I finish trapping (in rare case, 4 Gen done at that point).
Unlike other killers who get 1st hook at 3 Gen done. I start chase at 3 Gen. Despite that, I play it fair (barely eat DS).
5 Gen done is where the trial truly begin. 95% of games Noed happens.
-
When I was a mercy killer (double hook and let everyone leave). I downed Clau but not hook because she got 2 hooks.
Meg tbag me at a distance, so I went back and hook Clau then chasing Meg to gate. I had Bloodwarden.
Dwight nearby Meg at a time understood that he will not unhooking Meg. He just wait for BW time off, we nod to each othet, then he leave.
Clau also understood the situation
-
This guy would die by his own madness if he facing this
Trapper vs 3 OoO
-
This just a brain hack build swf. This perk build is extremely weak.
I can understand if they replace Left behind, Urban with Headon, Diversion/Deception
Why so mad?
-
Ghostface "end chase before it even start".
As Trapper main, there are times the chase just randomly end without I even start
For me, a fun power is there are interaction from both side. Trapper, Pig, Plag are what I mean. They are low tiers. But they give something else for survivors to touch. (Demo is not that fun though)

I'm sorry? How is Oni at base total dog? His base kit is one of the strongest out of the whole cast.
Spirit belongs on the lowest, and Pyramid head belongs on at least B tier. Pyramid head's trails are most certainly not useless either.
I think he meant Oni at the start is just M1. Which is true
-
Get Gas for 10s gives u ability to do Gen for 30s. A Gen time from 80s down to 60s. (Which mean the total time for a Gen is still 80s)
Killer hits a survivor will deplete their Gas. They have to get Gas again in order to do Gen.
=> Gen rush is no more
With this mechanic, it profits more to hit multiple survivors rather than tunnel one once they injured.
Have DS as basekit, active twice (once after each hook), and disable when Gates are powered
=> Tunnel is no more
Make hooks work like cage, they spawn to another place if killer is close
=> Camping is no more
Yellow Mori as basekit
-
Nurse calling is more delicious choice, especially on Spirit
-
@FairRelic64722 said:
Spirit already has 'passive phasing' in and out every few seconds while walking, so essentially her power would allow her to move moderately faster while survivors can see where she is heading, yet survivors would still be completely invisible to the spirit player. Don't forget that the phase walk only lasts five seconds and has a 15 second cooldown, after which the spirit is essentially a huntress without hatchets. There is still counterplay to spirit as well (walking, slow vaulting, iron will). But that's still fair because it's your opinion? The survivor entitlement is so obvious.
Using perks isnt a good way to tell its balanced
-
Best thing about chest build is u can bring in a powerful item with addon into the next match if previous one you survived.
I had a game where I exchange another survivor getting a brown Medkit, and give him Purple medkit with double charge addon.
He didnt need to be healed the whole game, which another survivor can be on Gen instead of healing him.
-
Instead of Gen 80s.
Make it collect Gas 10s will give you ability to do Gen for 30s (2 trips will be 80s total). Taking any hit will deplete your Gas.
-
There is no such satisfying of hearing people screaming in distance while playing Trapper.
I once 4k a swf (not very strong swf) that M1 less than 10 times. Only pick them up and hook the whole game
-
Lap map has plenty cut off path. Coldwind isnt.
Survivors who can loops will wait for Killer at loops & TL to mind game.
As for my friend who is new, I told him just pressing W, its actually more effective than he tries to loops.
-
Some players just want to blame to others for their own failure. Or even if you make an attempt but failed.
I was a Killer with Rancor, Obsession out right after 5Gen done. I down others with Noed.
They insult the obsession for leaving, I said he had too because of Rancor.
There was Noed in the Game, hooked guy on 1st hook, gates are ready but I tried to find Hex, but I got spotted in progress and I died.
What I got was "noob".
I rather being an escaped noobie than a dead noobie
-
Contain a map, a good design (both looking and power) Killer: Plag, Oni, PH
I started 1 month before Plag came out.

Because you can never rest as a killer, you always have to be moving and thinking about your next move. Meanwhile a survivor can just sit on a gen for 80 seconds and cooldown, and then when they're being successful in chase they can at least feel good about themselves for helping their team-mates on gens.
Whenever the killer outplays a survivor they still have to do it another 23 times, when a survivor outplays a killer there are times when that alone secures your draw/victory.
This is the point, if you chase a single survivors constantly (tunneling), the pressure on them really hard, they're likely to make more mistake for a quicker down.
When I get tunneled, I feel stress too, because I can not rest. This may explain many killers tunnel alot, the times that a single survivor in a match is multiply decreased.

Hag's trap blinded by flash light too...Also Wraith cloaked & Nurse blinking

I never got this mentality. Why play a PVP game if your intention isn't to win, in any rank?
There are squads play just to bully, not to win (you win or lose, they just keep it coming). Though I didnt see any toxic happened in this match.
-
@Mandy said:
A lot of people have returned to the game recently, so it's very possible that it's people actually at that rank - they've just not played for a while.
If they didnt bring flashlight, I would keep using useless coil add-on. Which may easier for them.
@Clevite said:
I can't stand Smurfs.
I know, they will say, "We haven't played in a while."
So, they needed a full meta load out expecting to face a newer killer. This is why I can't wait for the MMR. It can be worse than people purposely doing this.
I dont mind meta load out. But double flash light & Headon made me feel like a potential bully squad. Which I wonder "do they derank on purpose to bully low rank killers"
-
It can be decreased to 5$ and 35 level.
- People more likely to buy Rift because its cheaper
- People more likely to buy Rift because they have more chance to finish it.
Because of "I have full items from Rift 2-6 with 10$". Devs have to put the grind extremely high so not everyone just do the same thing as you (they still need money to live, so the grind should not be easy that everyone can get everything with 10$). So I think giving back 2$ when people reach to level 35 is quite acceptable.
Devs still get the money, everyone still able to save 2$ for the next Rift. Everyone wins.
-
Yellow Mori: basekit
Green Mori: become Yellow, you can Mori a survivor in EGC
Red Mori: become Purple, you can Mori a survivor after hook everyone once.
-
Skate out and Diversion make me wish there are more perk that require in TR. I want to make a full TR build.
-
Once I met this sabo squad. I had to call an ambulance...
BUT NOT FOR ME.

Pray so he gains ability to loops for 5 Gens.

I made this image months ago, isnt this what we wished for?

1 - he starts with all his traps. (or purple bag is base at least)
2 - grass actually exists on all maps.
3 - dead hard doesn't work on the traps anymore.
edit 4 - there's a chance to get trapped when disarming his traps
1 is a bad idea. Even as Trapper main, start with all traps is a bad idea.
Here is a topic about my lucky RNG, this could be the same as start with all traps https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/197499/story-lucky-rng#latest

Instead of:
Gen (80s)
I wish: Collect a full jar of Gas from Gas station allow you to fix Gen for 30sec.
Gas (10s) -> Gen (30s) -> Gas (10s) -> Gen (30s)
Still 80s total, except you have to run around. Killer hits you will deplete Gas you're carrying. Its optimize for Killer to hit multiple survivors than tunnel one.
1 idea, solve 2 problems.

I meant the exit gate switches, that's my bad
Thats still easily to body block totem, lead to game hostage.
I feel because of how Noed works, survivors have 2 choice, either do all totems or risk getting Noed. And because Killer also has high risk that never have a chance to use Noed, thats why Noed has to be powerful (Survivors can key escape at 1 Gen left, totems gone before 5 Gen done, Noed can be randomly spawn on totem that survivor is about to destroy).
If Noed is nerfed, it should not be a Hex perk. And because of that, Survivor will never do totems, since there is no risk of no doing totems.
-
Just a simple premade chat like HSH like "ME DECOY"
And u will see Gens in Solo fly extremely fast as swf
-
As Trapper main, I use full end game build as a punish survivors just rushing Gen while I busy pick up - set up traps. There is no reason to complain when I start chase at 3 Gen done, survivors have 12 hooks vs 2 Gen.
Noed with top tier Killer is completely broken. 2nd with camper.
-
Will they hold updating old realms' graphic to have a new map come along with RE? A new map should come along with RE chapter.
Everyone can wait old realms update for a while.
-
My idea: You have 3 tokens, each time you get hit from healthy to injured state, you lose 1 tokens.
1 Token: remove blood & scratch mark for 15sec.

I just had this on Aazarov's.
Fix the ######### perk. I do not ever want to have a UB, SG Breakdown and Prove Thyself ever again.
I had a few times that hooks spawn so few, mostly in Auto heaven.
(X) for hook. Downed a survivor at gate, cant make it to hook. There should be a hook right next to Gates as default.

About the RNG
I like someone mention about get more traps in the jigsaw box. I feel like its not a bad idea to have Pig start with 2 traps, and can get 1 from each box that survivor already get key (which up to 6 total but requires some work)
-
There is a problems that the map "isnt large enough" for placing 4 survivors, 7 Gens, 5 totems if you want 4 survivors should not spawn near Gens or Totems, or Gen near Totems.
Its really easy to fix early Gen rush, is adding 2-3 Gas station, force Survivors to find Gas station before doing Gen.
HSHS solve this pretty well. You cant do anything with ritual without Key item. And eventhough you should search for weapons first before Key item so you can defend yourself.
-
For self: Lithe, WoW
For team: Small game, Kindred
Im bad at chasing so I need Wow. Take Ironwill for better choice
-
My idea:
Hit a survivor gain a token, to 3 tokens. Once you have full tokens, you can use the perks.
Press active button to activate the perks, gain Undetectable for 30s.
-You dont gain token hitting survivor while being Undetectable
-
Anti pallet: Allow you to break undropped pallet. After a break, perk gets cool down for 2min.
Anti windows: Have 2 tokens, allow you to permanently block 1 window per token.
-
Trapper is extremely map dependent.
Some map like Game, Hawkin..have NO place to trap. AutoHeaven is considered as weakest open map for Trapper.
Some map like MacMillan, Yamaoka are good for him. Asylum and new Coldwind are madness OP with him, traps go invisible in many places
-
I had an idea that "Killer & Survivor will show aura to each other if both side face their camera to each other"
-
As Trapper main, yes, only those 2 would be enough for him.
Brown bag is equal to Demo's rat tail
-
@Jago said:
Meanwhile, hshs
HSHS map is quite 2 dimensional. When you see a team mate dies, you can totally tell where Killer coming, because there is only 2 path to your location and 1 is really far from other. Unlike DBD maps is a square, Killer can go from unexpected direction.
Beside, HSHS objective is really active, requires survivors to keep running (to find key items). Because of the map design & objective design (combine with 32m TR), there are many times you search survivor on a Gen and see no one there.
HSHS, Killer can easily find survivors, but survivors are also easily able to break LoS and hide.
