It's 20% off of 2.6 seconds
which is 0.52
I think in the context of dbd 100% of a speed is usually cutting it in half
Like we'll make it for example - (100% healing speed increase)
normal healing speed = 16 seconds
we'll make it = 8 seconds
It's really confusing but yeah
-
No the censor is just dumb
It censors 'Jake Park' whenever it feels like it

Pardon me? They've been pandering to people right after Hag was released as she was the 1st & hopefully not last unattractive female killer. Everyone else just has slight non facial body deformities.
Are you saying Plague's default face isn't gross
The one where she has a gaping hole where one of her eyes is meant to be and is covered in boils/has half of her skin torn off
-
Could you please add a third option that's like
'Wary/Willing to Try'
That's the camp I'm in right now. I've seen a lot of people had positive experiences with the last test but I did not. For the first time in a very long time, I had DS go off basically every game and not because I did the classy forcing it technique i was legitimately tunnelled a lot and so were my team.
-
Did you even read the thread buddy
they literally addressed the main problems ppl had, which was that the chains broke too easily and the lament configuration decision being too easy
-
Some maps are currently disabled, maybe it's that?
-
They won't touch Franklins again for a while me thinks
-
They do increase the range, I'm pretty sure

I thought about Whispers but I don't have any trouble finding survivors with Corrupt thankfully.
I was thinking the Ruin + Pop combo might be a good gold standard so I'll run that once the bloodweb decides to give me both of them LOL
Do you ever use I'm All Ears for wallhacks during chase? That's another I was considering for aura reading.
Yeah, I'm All Ears is a pretty good PH perk - my only issue with it is a lot of the time PH gets his hits when survivors are locked in animation and this will result in the perk being wasted a lot of the time but it's good to have against good survivors since PH's attack goes through walls
Also, a suggestion that just came to me - If you want a perk to replace BBQ you can run Thrilling Tremors instead. While it has the same issue as BBQ in that you need to pick someone up to trigger it, it gives you more reliable information on where to contest generators. I still prefer BBQ personally due to the fact it has no cooldown and doubles BP which is too much to not have
Otzdarva is also a Pyramid Head enjoyer and I think he has many videos on him - two guides I believe. If that's something that interests you be sure to check it out!
-
Hey
I'd say your build right now is pretty decent, If you're looking for a replacement for Trail of Torment - I would personally recommend either Whispers (To help you locate survivors early game + make better use of your corrupt), Bitter Murmur (To help you see which direction survivors go after they do a gen AND in case it gets to endgame, you can use it to get some snipes potentially).
Also, Ruin is the better choice for gen regression as it synergizes with his kit pretty well, however on the subject of Pop/BBQ I want to point out that you won't always be able to cage survivors. Sometimes survivors will play well and avoid being tormented at all costs. Having these perks let's you make use of them when you need them the most.
Personally my build for PH is Ruin, Pop, Corrupt and BBQ. It's basic, but it's solid and mostly consistant.
Ruin is on the shrine if you don't have it unlocked yet, just thought I'd mention it!

I once had a situation where I had everyone on the floor, and I got unlucky and didn't pick up the one person who had unbreakable
The person who had unbreakable then got up and flashlight saved his buddy, meaning they went from 4 on the floor to 2 up and 2 down
It was a good comeback, although I still got 2 kills in the end. I was like "damn how'd I mess up that bad"
-
Do what I do
Run Camraderie
Sure you can camp me to death but you're gonna bloody work for it.

It's because unfortunately i don't believe they are low enough rank or play enough to face the actual sweat players who teach what perks suck and which don't
These statements came from DBD content creators
And I'm not talking lesser known ones, the quotes come from two of the most well known ones. Not looking to name/shame but you can look it up on YT and you'll see.
-
"They made trickster better than nurse (they really did)" I will never forget this absolute joke of a statement a certain member of the DBD community made when he got buffed
Also
"Trickster is just easier, stronger huntress" - Another hilarious statement considering Huntress is one of the most popular killers and literally nobody plays trickster. Easier, maybe. Stronger? No way.
-
Huntress is usually ok but the hitboxes are really iffy and sometimes unfair for both sides. Survivors can get hit around corners they clearly were around and Killers lose shots to wonky collision
Deathslinger is frustrating. Not OP or unbeatable just frustrating. Plain and simple.
Trickster is fine, no complaints from me.
Plague is perfectly fine and fun.
Pyramid Head is frustrating sometimes but, again - not unbeatable by any stretch.
Nemesis is...Weird. I really enjoy going against him, he's one of my favourites but I feel like his power is just weirdly inconsistant for both sides. IDK
IK you only said huntress/trick/deathslinger but I wanted to throw the other ranged killers in since a lot of the complaints and problems overlap if you ask me.
-
Pretty positive!
I know there's some issues with them, mainly on big maps and more importantly the old maps like red forest and backwater swamp; these maps are notorious for causing zombies to get stuck on random terrain
However I find the zombies to be quite useful, I don't use any of the zombie enhancing addons but I still get a lot of use out of them. At the very least, I can use them to get progress on my mutations during downtime when I'm not chasing anyone and at their best - I use them to box survivors in at loops, forcing them to make plays that only benefit me and me alone
Their tracking is also really useful, as someone who only typically runs bbq as my go-to tracking perk, they provide me with a lot of information
-
Such a lovely dog.
I'm sorry for your loss fellow forum goer, I hope you give yourself plenty of time to mourn
-
Goes to show how Horror is quite a popular genre among LGBT folk
It's great that people can use DBD to express themselves that way!
-
Damn I guess they're training them to be toxic in the endgame chat too
-
I like Resident Evil
T. Nemesis Main
-
Yeah those are pretty average builds, nothing particularly sweaty or obnoxious about either of them
Some killers despise Prove Thyself though, personally I run it for the points and not the gen speed.
-
I think if any killer's gonna be next on the cutting room floor it will certainly be Twins
Twins is hated by both survivor and killer players, for different reasons
She's 100% the most unpopular killer pickrate wise I'm almost sure of it

She currently has a bug where she has an overheat-style meter that appears around her power and they have attempted to change her hitboxes in the past. The Devs are clearly looking at her
Actually that's false, a lot of killers also have the same bug
The one that debunks this concern is Clown. He LITERALLY just got his big rework and he also has this power meter bug
-
They already gave her the addon pass treatment
If they wanted to mess with her they'd have done it there
-
By the way, since we're on the topic
Did you know Blast mine actually stuns the killer for 4 seconds instead of 3?
That extra second seems like an eternity.
-
Pros for Killer:
- Central basement that always spawns there
- Corner deadzones can SOMETIMES spawn
- The hook spread isn't massive, especially in the main road
- 3 gens are SOMETIMES possible if survivors cause them
Cons for Killer:
- All the gens are in different countries
- All the loops are super safe apart from one or two filler loops in the main road
- The buildings have god windows everywhere that most killers can't do anything about
- Long fences that the killer HAS to follow to get around and keep chasing
- Without tracking perks or good game sense finding people early and mid game is extremely difficult
- Even if you catch a survivor and get an easy first hit, if they hold w and run to a corner of the map once again you can't really do ######### unless you're a mobility killer
-
I think it's fine if the killer can't see it personally
It's meant to be a trap after all.
-
I can make one for you if you want want...
It is odd tho, ngl.

It's not all about looping, it's about wasting as much time as possible and being as effective at possible at occupying the killers time.
There's a few rules of thumb I have:
- Find out which killer it is as soon as possible and adapt accordingly. Some killers you need to pre-drop pallets in order to effectively counter them. Oni is the main one to think of here, if you go against an Oni - do not ever greed pallets. Delay his power as much as possible. Most killers have their own things to look out for.
- Understand each killer's power and its limitations. This one takes practice and game sense, so it'll come naturally as you play. The more you play, the more you'll mentally be able to read how the chase is going and what the killer could do. Playing killer also helps this as by playing killer you learn what each killer is physically incapable of doing
- Split up from your teammates. You might be thinking "what does this have to do with looping?", allow me to explain: The killer benefits from being able to pressure multiple survivors at once and so if you're getting chased and you run the killer over to where your teammates are, that is a net positive for the killer even if they don't get a hit right away. If everyone's split up, the killer will struggle to pressure the whole team even if someone's hooked. Contrary wise, make a mental note of the closest structure to the gen you're on or run windows of oppertunity.
- If you're all out of options, don't give up - just try to stall as long as you can. Sometimes all the pallets are gone, or you're in a deadzone while injured. These things happen, you need to try and waste as much time as possible. Run to a corner, jump in a locker to waste just that little bit extra of the killers time.
- And finally - take the aggro from teammates who have been hooked already whenever you can. Killers win by killing one person as soon as possible, as fast as possible. Some will tunnel, others will prioritise hooked survivors first. Either way, if you haven't been hooked a single time yet and you have teammates who have; try to take the aggro, get in the killer's face or take hits for your teammates that are being chased. Just be careful not to get slugged in the process, sometimes if the killer is hardcore tunnelling or camping the right move is to pressure gens non-stop.
-
Blight mains are entitled and will be good sports when they win but bad sports when they lose
Pig mains think because she's known as one of the weaker killers that pubstomping with her makes them a god at the game
-
@my_name_jeff_69 said:
It's simple, Lilith Omen has made Blight as popular as he is currently. He's been growing rapidly on Twitch, sometimes being up there with the most viewers for streamers who play DBD. He's shown the community that he's viable, and his guide that he made as of recent has also helped many people start playing Blight more. Not to mention that other bigger DBD creators are recognizing how good Blight is as of late, I feel like Otz putting Blight in S tier also really helped the community finally start showing Blight attention and so on. So, what has made Blight so popular, is content creators.
That's not completely true.
Many people were playing and learning blight well before these content creators gave him any attention. Back when his POV was still the shortest in the game
Sure they've helped show how strong he is and the guides have def helped. Me for example, I learned some things from Scott's guide and Ascensionwho's guides but I don't credit them for 'popularising' blight
That's like saying Tru3 is responsible for popularising hit and run wraith. He wasn't, he just showed people how strong it was.

Why are people suddenly complaining about the "lack of content" when we just got a huge license with 2 survivors and killer-- especially after a majority of the forums were calling for less chapters per year?
This is a good thing. It means more time devoted to the actual improvement of the game.
But the PTB didn't really show much improvement...?

Some of yall have not been around for a while and it shows. Ghostface was a chapter as well, not a paragraph. This isn't some new thing. Bubba, Ash, and Bill were paragraphs because they were released during midchapter.
I've been around since Legion came out.

apparently freddy with anything is worse than spirit so outplayed i guess
Meanwhile earlier today I played against 3 different Blight players all running the exact same build and playstyle
It's hilarious how they start to panic when their ruin is cleansed
-
There's your problem, you ran BBQ
That automatically makes ur build sweaty ofc....
Jesus. If they consider this sweaty, I really hope they never face the typical red rank pick and mix.
Or well, actually I hope they do - so they get a better understanding.

I just hope they turned that lack of content into a playable game on console, tbh.
If they've legit had to split the content in order to fix consoles then I'm 100% for it.
I just wish they'd TELL US what's going on.

@not_Queef said:
Players: omg stop releasing new content and fix the game!!!11
Also players: omg where is the new content!!!??
nice strawman bud
if read my actual post you'd notice my issue is the lack of communication and the fact that BHVR was insistent on their schedule until now where they've split the content
and don't talk about 'fixing' the game when we didn't see anything major in the PTB.
-
He's already somewhat oppressive in the 1v1 and strong as is, though
He doesn't need this.

@SkeletalElite said:
I mean we literally just got a chapter with not 1 but 2 survivors, so if they need an extra month and a half to bang out another survivor I dont really mind, especially considering the quality of the animations on pinhead, some of the best animations by far
Hey if that's their reasoning, I'd undestand it if they just told us
Also when Stranger Things came out, we got 2 survivors then and that didn't stop the next chapter from having a map or a survivor. In fact after Demo, we got one of the best chapters we've ever gotten (Yui & Oni)

Game is stale. Devs are stale. Not sure what you expect. Stop spending money on Nea skins and BHVR will have to work.
I don't buy cosmetics. The last money I spent on this game was buying the RE chapter. I didn't buy any of the chapters before that with money.

People with certain cheats can spoof their steam name, the account that comes up when you click their profile in a lobby/scoreboard AND they also have the ability to stop you from reporting them as well either because the account you report will link to someone else or it will display a big wall of text

Hey let's not get into multiverses here! The fact remains one cannon instance they are married.
Well techincally...
The Jill that we have, she was taken basically during RE3 so, at that point Chris was just a friend/fellow S.T.A.R.S member
-
@Mozzie said:
Jill Valentine is married to Chris Redfield so I'd say that counts. I'm sure one of the guys will end up with Nancy from Stranger Things.
Not in the remake continuity where DBD Jill comes from, I don't think
I think that's old og RE2 continuity

Yeah, I think the meme of her keeps her popular.
I hate the memes with a passion
Not only because I don't think it's funny but it also gives people the false impression that pig players/pig mains are all 'wholesome' when in reality the majority of them are a good combination of toxic and sweaty or sweaxic. (trademark pending)

Your implication is that NOED is fine only because keys exist which is a terrible argument which also implies that I think keys are fine, which I don't.
Keys are not fine, and neither is NOED. This post isn't about keys. Try again.
My post was sarcastic but yeah
-
If NOED is fine, keys are fine
Both require very little and offer a high reward
Both allow you to bypass something, in the killer's case it's a whole health state (and increased movement speed) and in the survivors case it allows them to either leave before all the gens are done or without opening an exit gate.
:)
-
Yeah it's not okay, especially when certain people abuse it by combining it with the other addons + map offerings
Same people who complain when survivors burn coldwind every match. Hypocrites
-
It's only going to get worse until BHVR concedes that sticking to their schedule is only continually harming the game's health
game health chapter for the love of god.
-
I guess Pig is strong then
stop asking for buffs then please
-
Doesn't help that people abuse various things about his power
like the generous hitbox where the survivor doesn't even have to be on your screen to hit them
or the fact you can swing, miss and still get hits
