Grab game is a boring chore for both sides
It should be changed.
-
No changes to grab game either
Just made a thread about that particular topic because I feel like it wasn't considered

These are perks killers will still run.
corrupt could potentially last longer than what it is now depending on how long it takes to down someone.
ruin isn’t even run anymore as is because there are better perks
pop is still powerful combined with the 2.5% automatic gen loss upon kicking
2.5% gen loss per kick and 10 seconds longer to repair a gen.
the survivor meta was nerfed so hard no one will run those perks.
we do get the 5 second BT, but that won’t really stop tunneling, just extend it a little- yes, bravo bhvr. This definitely an update in favor of killers.
Corrupt is still 2 minutes though but it could end much quicker than that if the killer gets a down
meaning corrupt is now weaker on STRONGER killers like Nurse, Blight etc
-
I just finished doing the math
Current self care is 50% of the normal healing speed
so 16/0.5 = 32 seconds
NERFED self care =
16/0.35 = 45.7 seconds, roughly
Half a generator.
That's pathetic.
-
Uh hello
Ruin was nerfed massively
Corrupt ends instantly after a survivor is downed
Pop no longer gives 20% straight regression, it's 20% of CURRENT progression
Gens now take 90 seconds
BT is now baseline
The changes impact both sides in positive and negative ways. While I don't know I'm 100% a fan of all the changes, I will say there is at least changes on both sides

what is the dead hard hack?
Some people have a cheat specifically for DH only
It makes it so they can DH perfectly 100% of the time, auto-DH basically
Some people are just patient/lucky though so not every super clutch DH is an auto DH
-
-
I tell them to remake Freddy for the third time
and PROPERLY this time.
-
Wow
This was actually really funny but also a really accurate review of the game
Personal highlight is Burnie Handers. Such a stupid pun but i love it
-
When the Dredge spoilers happened, I read his power and was really underwhelmed. Thought he seemed really derivative and boring
Then I actually played him.
One of BHVRs best designed killers to date.
-
Not one to play devil's advocate for BHVR super often but I disagree with the premise of your post
I'd like to reiterate a post I saw by somebody on this very forum:
"Why would you rush to grind through a system before the change that addresses grind in the first place is out?"
They likely haven't mentioned what the P3 thing is going to be because it's not going to be something significant. It's 100% not gonna be a cosmetic of any kind, it's been confirmed multiple times. I get there's some FOMO (Fear of missing out) at play with the P3 reward but I seriously think if it was something players would be super interested in getting, they'd just tell us. I could be wrong but after what happened with old legacy I doubt BHVR would want to go through that whole nightmare again
I'm very critical of BHVR's communication and I can't say they've been doing a bad job as of late? Not only did we get an actual roadmap this year, we got rough ETAs on when we can expect what was mentioned in the anniversary update. First time in a long while that BHVR was transparent like that
They are also considerate about people who haven't bothered with the prestige system because they are planning a catchup system of some kind. They understand that the prestige system was just a useless flavour feature so it's being reworked to have more of a purpose in the game for newer players and veterans
As for why we haven't had info about the perk changes, it's probably coming very soon. I'm sure the forums are going to explode if there's a certain perk or two that people feel have been 'gutted'.
-
He is a feast or famine killer
At his best, he's like Bubba but 110% and requires a bit more precision/reloading. He chews through survivors in the open or at low filler/junk tiles. Also really good at camping/can't be bodyblocked
At his worst he's a 110% killer with a power that barely helps with the strongest tiles in the game. Jungle Gyms, main buildings & shack are a nightmare for Trickster. A decent survivor can make L wall T walls a nightmare too.

What about my Pennywise? ;[
He wants to be apart of the Boyz Club.
They could def make Pennywise work
I just don't see him as Iconic as the rest. He's not a 'slasher' if that makes sense. (TBH neither is Cenobite but he's still a big horror icon)
-
DBD needs Jason
He is the only missing link (Besides maybe Chucky?)
We have Freddy, Ghostface, Myers, Bubba and Pinhead
With Jason, the whole crew is here.
-
He's def my favourite killer to face
His power has a lot of counterplay - be it before he has it or when he's in it
His chase music is a banger
He doesn't completely ignore key elements of the game like pallets and windows, but he can deal with them. Key difference
While a lot of people use him to slug, they can't just do it infinitely because his power is finite. It's not like Nurse/Blight/Twins where they can just keep slugging over and over with the same efficiency
-
Somebody ruined my game, so I'm going to ruin somebody elses game
Sound logic my guy

I did, yes, but it says they were redeemed already on Steam version.
Damn
Hopefully you can get this sorted!
-
Did you try redeeming the codes again?
-
Notice how every gen regression perk is on there apart from 1
Call of Brine
Potential Call of Brine meta incoming?
-
I haven't ran DH for at least a month +
I stopped running it because I was sick of seeing it and wanted to be the change I want to see. Even if it means suffering against Nurse/Blight without it sometimes
DH is not necessary but it makes things a lot easier and turns mistakes into wins

There is really no objective data that tells she is broken, when all the data shown is telling she is fine, the chances are she is fine.

"still the best killer" but somehow every ######### data shows she is weakest? that's funny.
The data also says that Freddy and Pig have extremely high kill rates thus meaning they are the strongest killers in the game and are "fine"
Is that accurate, yes or no

Now that's certainly a take
"That's... An opinion. A valid opinion but an opinion." - Mathieu Cote

It's not overrated in the slightest
If a killer finds out a survivor doesn't have DS, the only reason that killer won't tunnel them out is purely for good sportsmanship reasons. If DS didn't exist, tunnelling would be extremely rampant more so than it is today. DS is the only thing that punishes this playstyle. BT as well to a certain degree but good killers can count to 12 very easily.
The developers had to actually implement a bandaid fix by making an obsession always appear in a trial because when the Killer saw there was no obsession it was 100% guaranteed that no survivor had DS meaning they could tunnel anyone at any time with no consequence.
Hooking a survivor 3 times back to back is tunnelling and it's a super effective way to put the game in your favour.
-
DH deserves whatever change it's going to get
-
Sprint Burst can be and is just as good as Dead Hard when used correctly
The big difference comes in how the perk is used, what it allows survivors to do and how fun it feels for the killer to deal with it.
You see a survivor with Sprint Burst, they use it typically when they are healthy and at the start of a chase. You also know "ok this guy has SB good to know."
A survivor with DH, you only know it's there when they use it the first time and then you have to play around it basically every other time which can often put the killer in spots where they just lose chases simply because they DH'd when they needed to
A survivor hitting you with a 99'd sprint burst mid chase sucks, but that actually takes some skill and effort on the survivor side and imo is way less frustrating than DH for distance
-
I've faced a few legions lately and I haven't had this happen although
I wonder if there's some weird bug with the loadout system that might be causing this since loadouts let you pick different addons for each slot
-
This is sort of intended
Legion's Feral Frenzy states it will highlight all survivors who aren't in deep wound within the terror radius with killer instinct after the first stab.
Perks such as Hysteria and Plaything make survivors oblivious, which removes the terror radius and any associated effects it may have.
-
They are planning some kind of catchup system where people who didn't prestige will be given a number of prestige levels when the update hits. They mention it in the official news post
idk how it'll work or anything but maybe it'll go by how many teachables you got on a character
-
Nurse and Blight become even stronger than they already are
The main perk that helps against them being nerfed while they remain unchanged is troublesome
I'm not saying nerf blight/nurse, I'm just saying DH is one of few perks that helps against these two the most so it's gonna hurt for a while. Not to me, I stopped running DH months ago
-
I got the Entity hungers even though I got a 2k
The Entity is just greedy

look at these survivors mercilessly BULLYING this gentleman. As you can see, the Felix is BLINDING him, severely harming his vision, which could have harmful consequences in the future! Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE behavior.
no joke when i first saw this i actually was like "wth????"

You can't just post a slug race screenshot and not tell us who won
It was ace right?

You want to know something I find really funny
I've stopped running DS but basically every game I always think to myself "I hope that guy has DS"
Goes to show I suppose.

it´s usually Survivors who brings Toxicity, otherwise why on Earth you would have a 20s stun flashlights, flashbang, head on, decisive strike and Borrowed Time?
None of what you said is inherently toxic though

Enjoy waiting 15+ minutes for a queue when everyone inevitably stops playing
don't dignify people like that with a response honestly
seems like they are just trying to rile people up, they'll get bored if nobody responds
-
You don't need to survive, you just need to last until an exit gate is opened I think
I know it's kinda the same thing but you can last the whole game and then die in the endgame and still get it, happened to me once or twice
-
This is pathetic
What next
Killer tome challenge: Whiff 10 times while chasing a survivor, do this in a single trial

Shirtless Myers when?
That one is actually kinda funny at least
The absurdity factor of it.
Shirtless felix is just a shameless ripoff of the original and was never funny!

I’m sure most of you know this, but why not:
When you’re at the main menu screen (where you choose to play killer or survivor), you’ll see 4 survivors sitting at the campfire. They change up between matches. Though I haven’t figured out the exact logic behind it, they seem to be survivors you’ve recently interacted with - cosmetics and all.
The survivor closest to the killer is always the survivor you have selected
The other 3 are purely random from my observation of it
-
It's obnoxious when it's repeated a million times as with most jokes
'Shirtless felix' still isn't funny
Also anyone else remember when people used to use the word 'potato' when referring to an inexperienced player? Everyone just kinda stopped doing it (Which is good bc it's stupid)

The blue streak ("white") is the signature mark of her character in the lore, so it makes sense that none of the cosmetics change it. No reason why they can't alter the rest of her hair though.
huh interesting
they still could've put in more effort, like changing the eye colour or the rest of the hair maybe
i get that they're only supposed to be small alterations but they never had this issue with other characters
-
Come on BHVR you couldn't even change the coloured hair streak to a diff colour to match the earring?
That's just lazy man
-
Happy forum anniversary
-
Yeah please just remove it
It has no bearing on matchmaking anymore and it's impossible to go down a grade so, just get rid of it
all it does is cause frustration in players trying to get their grade to iri 1 before rank reset

For the legion one I'm pretty sure it's been a reported bug since the oni and yui came out and has never been fixed
Yeah I think because Legion's vault is considered a different action to the pallet break action it doesn't cancel it
Normally the kick action overrides the reset but not for Legion's vault. Def weird
-
I've got tons of these, I don't know why I have a keen eye on small random details
- You can disarm hag traps with flashbangs and I think blast mines as well
- During the pallet reset animation while using any means necessary, Legion cannot vault over it. (P sure)
- You can find a reused kitchen knife asset in Dead Dawg Saloon on the poker table. It's the exact same one Myers uses
- Renewal's timer still ticks down even if you're healthy after being unhooked (Like by adrenaline) making it so if you get injured within 20 seconds of being unhooked, you'll be healed back to healthy again
- By running resurgance you're essentially giving your teammate 'we'll make it' since they both turn the heal time from 16 seconds to 8.
- Survivors actually have two different dying state animations: one when recovering and one when not recovering. The recovery animation is a small loop of the survivor trying to push themselves up and falling back down
- Remember me still warns survivors that it's active even if the killer has 0 stacks. I learned this today from a sad match against a killer who got 1 hook the whole game

@jesterkind said:
I've never understood what the community's definition of "M1 Killer" is since it encompasses killers I'd personally not give that label, but if Trickster somehow counts, I officially give up and declare it completely arbitrary.
By my definition and I would imagine most other people
An m1 killer is a killer who can't down you any other way aside from basic M1s. They may have powers that make landing m1s easier but they don't have any other ways of downing you
So like Pinhead - he's an m1 killer with an anti-loop power that revolves around making m1 attacks easier.
I think the only exception to this definition would be nurse, since she techincally only downs using m1 but she needs to use m2 to use her m1 in the first place due to her slower than normal speed.

Many thanks once again!
