Why the hell they're not getting banned? The game is beautifully balance for me. I wish the dev will focus on the anti cheat system. Since the game was fun to me.
They banned over 50.000 cheaters this year alone with a total of 200.000 since the game came out. They are getting banned, so don't worry.
-
I've been seeing them for a while now, like 2 months or so. It's cool to see. It shows people's dedication in a certain character
-
Try to deselect and select again the challenge, it should work as a temporary solution for now.
-
Sometimes since 6.3.0, kills after 5 gens get done aren't counting, for some reason.
-
That requires to download a patch in order to get it fixed. It's not something that gets fixed from a day to another. Be patient! It's been acknowledged so it will get fixed soon™
-
I found out that you will reveal him better when you're running instead of standing still. Run while you look at him and you'll reveal him even if he's behind a wall
-
If it didn't count, try to deselect and select again the challenge.

According to BHVR's recent statistics, nurse is the weakest killer in the game with the lowest kill rate
-
My experience with matchmaking is weird. It really feels like old rank system. May as well go back to that if I'm being honest.
-
No perk should be game changer. Changing the game is (guess what?) game changer.

Even if there are intervals, why does it need to be that way? Pinhead can already teleport to you as soon as you start solving the box. Allowing the chains to continue only delays the solving; it doesn't prevent Pinhead from teleporting. That is OP. One or the other only.
Maybe you don't know this (which is fair) but when Pinhead decides to teleport to the box, the chain hunt never begins.

I never kill friendly survivors and I will always give a kill to a friendly killer. Both are very rare nowadays but they're so cute when you find them!
-
You know what? I've been seeing a couple of Ash recently and you made me notice that none of them actually had voicelines from my screen at least. I miss hearing "What now?"
-
I've noticed that killer matches are very hard at one point so I turn on Spotify and kinda begin to lose on purpose for like a couple of hours. Then I log in the day after and suddenly survivors are like super weak. It's not that I want to win every game, it's because I only play for Tome challenges at the moment, but some challenges are really hard or close to impossible with good survivors 😅

Has the same situation but here I actually couldn't make it to a hook. Lose lose situation for the killer in Ironworks of Misery

I was playing Wraith for a daily challenge and I found a very spicy group of survivors that were planning to do some sabo plays. They all had boil over, flip flop, unbreakable and breakout and sabo toolboxes. 1 was always on gens and 3 of them were all around me.
The map was ironworks of misery. One survivor went on the top floor of the main building (where there are lockers and a window with a breakable wall) and I downed him to try to hook him. The closest hooks I had where outside (so I had to drop from a height) or the basement. Useless to say, I never made it to a hook and the same survivor always went up there knowing he couldn't get hooked. Since that for my challenge I needed to sacrifice someone as Wraith and the End Game collapse begun, I blocked upstairs this survivor who kept going there over and over knowing I couldn't make it to a hook. He died in that corner so I got my sacrifice for my daily.
Who is to blame here? He really loved that corner so I made sure that he died right there on top of that damn main building :)
But it also feels like a very dirty strategy that shouldn't be promoted but it's necessary since there's no counter to sabo plays other than slugging (which is not a counter, it's ignoring the problem where the killer can't make it to a hook).

Hate to sound like a broken record after your previous post but you say this one guy kept going up there, why not just go for one of the other 3?
They were all doing the same thing by going up there. Imagine like it's the old RPD, that's how it was. If I went for the one on gens, they were also going to sit on gens. It's a lose lose situation for the killer.

In case you have doubts, here's the official rules, what to report and if you need evidence or not.
Reminder: EULA Please remember that Dead by Daylight’s end user license agreement which can be found on https://deadbydaylight.com/eula (the “EULA”) governs your participation and use of the game and its associated upgrades, patches, and updates and related services. If I could find more than 5 hags a year I would be shocked.
-
I agree. And everyone who says "just do gens and leave" is ignoring the problem. This is a very tricky situation as the person on the hook can't do anything and the other survivors can't save the one on the hook.
I've seen an excuse that said "Bubba needs to catch the survivor before facecamping so just don't get downed". Again, the game has been made so that the killer has to down someone sooner or later and this is, once again, ignoring the actual problem.
Instead of changing base game mechanics (adding base BT and Haste which doesn't do much) it's better to address individual killer power.

are you so sure about the ingame chat harassement? Because i dont ever feel like clicking the report button does anything in that case but how would i know since you dont got informed if anything happened.
Their report system only tracks the pre and post game chat and puts a flag on the player you're reporting so that when you open a ticket and they ask you "did you report the player in game?" you can say YES and they can check their ID. Anything that happens in the match needs video evidence as they have no way of seeing it by themselves for some reason.
-
It should be all together, yeah.
-
I need to specify it: this doesn't happen ALL the times with Bubba. It happens some rare times when I manage to get the stun points but he immediately breaks the pallet anyway. I have a feeling that my stun gets canceled by the server for some reason on that specific case

thank you very much! ^^ thats doable for me then! Good to know,
Good luck with your challenges 😁
-
When the challenge says "complete in 1 trial" it means that you can do it in multiple chases. The challenge will specify it if you need to do it in the same chase.
-
Devs will always listen for feedback. The thing is that it takes time for them to actually implement our ideas in the game. It's not like a week or so. It may take a few months.
Just look at PTB for example. It's there mainly for feedback purposes and to test new content out before it's available to the general public. Look at the Finishing Mori system that was implemented a month ago in the PTB just to make the right adjustments and who knows when we can see it again. Don't worry that they always listen if it's a good idea

I bought it, played it, got super disappointed by it, and stopped
I haven't played in months so maybe it's better by now but I doubt that unfortunately
Honestly I never bought it because I saw it like one of those games that comes out and then gets forgotten by everyone (it's kinda what happened) but if it goes free to play it might have another chance! I'll definitely try it and see how it is.
-
I aim at chases so I bring enduring, brutal, fire up and save the best for last. Gens of course fly in 5/7 mins but I just refuse to bring 4 slowdown perks.
With these perks I never respect pallets and I'm very efficient in chases by literally holding W until I catch a survivor while destroying every pallet instead of wasting time mindgaming.
-
Personally I only slug the person that gives up the first 30 seconds of the match. If you want to quit you have to DC, I'm not letting you get the easy way out with no penalty.
-
One time on Midwich I had 1 hook downstairs and then the basement. 1 more hook was outside and 3 more were upstairs. I had to slug to death 3 people because of it (of course I tried to make it to a hook with no success 2 times each survivor).

did the meg even bothered to take aggro from the claudette or had bt for double protection time? sounds like she's being extra dickish by rescuing like that.
No she didn't bother. She unhooked and she immediately went to hide (map was Fractured Cowshed).
-
Confirm. It has to do with endgame somehow.
-
Thank you 😁

She's trying her best🥺

Last time I've seen a cheater was almost over a month ago (this is an old screenshot, the actual days should be 26)

And he's gone. Cheers.

Wait, there were iridescent shards in the halloween rewards? I never got any of those. It was only bloodpoints and rift fragments.
Yeah same. I got only bloodpoints for all I know. But here it says specifically players who got errors during the event will get all of this. I don't know if claiming the rewards and then getting errors counts as well.

I'm having fun with the "killer's on crack" build (works only on 4.6 m/s killers):
-enduring: your stun animation is 50% faster;
-brutal strength: you break pallets 20% faster;
-bamboozle: you vault 15% faster and you block the window while doing so
-fire up: each completed gen gives you a token (for a total of 5). Each token gives you 4% extra speed for breaking pallets, vaulting Windows, picking up a survivor.
If all gens get done you have a total of 40% faster pallet breaking and 35% faster window vaulting.
This strategy works if you never respect pallets (because of enduring) and you always need to break the pallet (brutal and fire up help you with that). If you find a very good window but there's a breakable wall, you can vault it to block it or you break the wall (you're fast either way).
-
"killer is getting me, let me close the game"
"He's gone, you're fine"
"Ok let me open and rejoin"
-
They changed a couple of hooks that before where in corridors and now they're in specific rooms. Other than that, enjoy your single hook downstairs 🙂
-
Now that's where people fail to realise that with trapper you can double trap a window and it's an easy trapped survivor. Also, put your traps in the most unthinkable spots (down a hole, random piece of grass) and you'll eventually get someone. It's so funny when that happens!
-
DC is showing that people can't handle losing. It's not a game problem regarding that.
-
Damn these people on the internet know how old you are and what you watch online by just playing a match of DBD. Technology is scary 😰

Right after they make one for Claudette and release a bush cosmetic that morphs form depending on the map.
Then, they could release a new tome for Spirit with a new survivor character : Rin before death.
Claudette with a bush cosmetic is the only thing I need, now. It has to be a huge bush, tho.

Not spending bps in bloodweb irritates me the most, but POV killer shadow, what the ######### is this, excuse my language, but its been here forever, what the ######### is wrong with shadows, i know its gilarious to see this goofy ass shadows, but it not been at any topics for discussion, when you going to fix it bhvr and fix it at all?
If you mean first person shadows as killer, I don't think there's anything to be fixed since that's the model you're playing but in first person so it has those first person animations (broken arm, weird leg movement, etc...)
-
I farm with survivors when it comes to very tedious challenges. I remember the last page of Tome 1: kill all 4 survivors in the basement in a single trial. That's evil.

They just need to add a hidden matchmaking that pairs serial dc'er with each other.
That would be very interesting. Serial DCers will taste their medicine
-
Yeah I get what you mean. They use dead hard, you hit them and they do the downed scream instead of a normal hit scream. Due to dead hard having a 0.5 seconds window when activating it, the game doesn't keep up that quickly so it thinks that you've downed that survivor when you didn't. Sometimes the opposite happens: you down a survivor that just used dead hard but they do the normal hit sound instead of the downed sound. I don't know if this can be even fixed with dead hard having 0.5 seconds window of activation.
The thing is that as survivor this never happens. All survivors will never hear the downed scream from the survivor that used a perfect dead hard so I have no idea how this works for killer honestly.
-
I felt the same about legion. Just play and see what happens. You'll get over that eventually.

That's enough forums for today.
