Hundreds probably.
-
Idk why, but Wraith's Surprise Attack also benefits from being considered as a regular M1.
-
Me, lol.

The weakest Killer Perk you can think of.

Y'know how I said Pig traps make the game more exciting? Same thing with Wraith being unpredictable. The thought that he could be absolutely anywhere without you knowing is very exciting in my opinion, and I'm so excited for his buff that's just going to improve on that.
We could be looking at a future F tier, where F stands for fun!
Well great, nice to see someone on the other side looking forward to him getting some more.

Yo same.

But if S tier is the most hated, then SS must be...
I...Idk, i wanted to do a joke here, but i got nothin'.
Please elaborate on your 2nd argument for Wraith, i understand you like his unpredictability, but where's the reason for that?
I always play him, so i like hearing what my next victims think of him. 😋
-
Went from about 75%-25% Killer-Survivor for a few years which then slowly transitioned me into a full-on Killer main since a few months ago.
-
Be lucky is the main thing.
If for some reason the Survivor didn't immediately escape/the Killer didn't immediately close it, start searching.
Left Behind certainly helps you to find it faster, and can prevent times where you'd go right past it while searching.
If you think you have time as either Survivor or Killer with enough Generators repaired & enough other Survivors dead, maybe you wanna give it a shot and search some locations, so that even if you don't find it, you can rule out locations where it's not.
-
Yeah, but you need the players you involve in the farming to want to farm as well for it to be allowed.

Good joke.

I did that. i sent a clip of the hackers In a report (Aswel with steam) and i dunno what's gunna happen at this point since well.. This is the same guy who apparently got banned 40+ times
So they are banning them.
Then if they can keep making new accounts, it sounds more like a problem with the platform they play on rather than the game.
-
Nope.
-
Find other Survivors.
-
Maybe, but i prefer if the Store stays in the Store section, i already have a permanent Archives rectangle popping up on the right.
Like many others have said for years now: Being able to mix and match in the Store is the best thing it could do right now.
Other than that, maybe it'd be nice if it did sales like actual stores.
"BUY 2 COSMETICS FOR FENG MIN THIS WEEK, GET THIS SPECIFIC ONE FOR FREE!"
"THESE SPECIFIC COSMETICS 50% OFF FOR THE NEXT 3 DAYS!"
-
It's been a suggestion for years now, but there's been like no hints at all to Alien being a DbD addition...yet.
-
Suffer, huh?
Clearly, we are on different levels of what we've seen on the internet.
-
I like the Perk's concept a whole lot, but its restrictions in turn restrict me from wanting it.
Pop is just more convenient for my playstyle: Hook someone, pop whichever Gen i want.
-
Not me, i've seen what his potential is.
I just prefer to not have having to bonk objects as my Killer Power.

i bad at writingsgsin
"...and then, in a brutal fashion, Nea grabbed one of the bigger Entity Legs poking out of the Hook with her bare hands, the palms of her hands profusely bleeding, yet she doesn't let go of her tight grip.
Meanwhile, Cheryl is standing on the other side, a smaller Entity Leg in both hands, also bleeding and not letting go.
'Okay Cheryl, pull NOW!' Nea yells as they proceed to pull hard on the legs, ripping them off the Hook.
The girls drop the legs as they twitch intensively still, having some life in them left.
As they slowly stop twitching however, the dense fog seems to clear up, and their respective Killer is nowhere to be found.
Suddenly, they hear the Generators all turn on at the same time, so they move to check out one of the Exit Gates.
A filthy Locker Dwight had already opened that respective Exit Gate, but rather than having his usual nervous expression, he looks out of the Exit with lots of excitement.
As the girls approach the gate, they too can't believe what they're seeing, and they start to feel a warm feeling: Daylight.
They run out as fast as they can, being more and more enveloped in the light as they move forward.
Eventually, the 3 of them wake up in the middle of the forest, unable to understand what just happened, what they went through, where they are, etc.
But at least they made it out..."
Made this up on the spot, will this do?
-
That's a really old mechanic you're mentioning there, DbD now cancels a match while loading.
The thing is, even with less Generators, chances are quite high that the Killer will win.
-
Yes they can, all you need to do is write a fan-fiction.
-
Sucks bro.
I kinda like it myself.
-
If they insist on Perk levels, but also want to make players (somewhat) more happy, they could make it so Perks only appear once on the Bloodweb as Perk level I, and then you can upgrade the Perk in the Perk menu of the character that has bought it by double-clicking on it, costing the appropriate amount of BP per Perk level.
Those who go for all Perks on a character wouldn't actually save BP, but those who just want specific Perks would at least be able to skip lots of others.
What it does benefit for both types of players is to not have to find it 3 times in Bloodwebs, saving potentially countless amounts of Bloodwebs.
As for finding it the first time on your Bloodweb: That's really a problem with Bloodwebs entirely, and i'd rather not touch that.
-
It wouldn't be crazy at all, cause like you said: Other stealth Killers have one-shot potential.
You'd just be making him more similar to other stealth Killers.
If stealth Killers are all moved into a singular direction, it'd get quite boring.
-
I remember clicking him accidentally with my headphones pretty loud cause i was watching a low-volume video before that.
Was greeted with an immediate RRRRRRAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!
-
Ew, no.
-
Hex: Devour Hope of course!
Something that can be permanently removed at any time & takes 5/12 unhooks with you far away can't possibly be meta.
But i enjoy it for 3 reasons, ranking from biggest primary reason to least primary reason.
- Permanent Exposed. This power is just insane on Wraith. Y'all say you can spot Wraith easily, and it's not like i don't believe you. But successful sneak attacks really aren't an uncommon occurrence in my gameplay, no matter what ranks the Survivors are. And i think you can imagine how devastating a successful sneak attack is on Wraith with Exposed, unlike with Pig's Dash for example.
- Permanent ability to kill Dying Survivors. Obviously, being able to outright remove a player from the game as soon as you win the chase, no matter their Hook stage, is downright OP if it was standard, so the Perk having the 2 weakpoints i mentioned earlier make this Perk the best example of high risk/high reward, at least for Killer Perks. It also gives me the opportunity to see Wraith's kill animation. Quite outdated, but i'll always enjoy the leg-pull. "GET OVER HERE!"
- It won't always work. That's right, the constant risk of losing everything on this Perk adds to my enjoyment of it. With my experience in many many many other games, i just KNOW that if i can successfully 1-hit everyone and kill all 4 every Trial, i'll get sick of it eventually. It might take a few months or more, but it'll happen. But because it doesn't always work (and i am not special: I also quite dislike the super-early cleanses), it makes the Trials where i DO get it to work that much better. I haven't taken this Perk off my fun build ever since Hag brought it into the game, though the beginning was harder than its current version. (The ability on 2 Tokens was previously on the 1 Token, and it reduced repair speed, alerting Survivors immediately that you have Devour Hope, it was way harder to build Tokens back then.) I know this type of Perk isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it is mine.
-
To be fair, you could've been playing the drinking game with these conditions for a while now.
-
None.

Do you still play much, Boss?
Every day, minus exceptions.
-
I don't feel bad doing it, but i don't feel good doing it either.
It's a waste of time, and i can fill that time with more enjoyable time instead.
-
Brutal Strength, ever since Pallets got heavily nerfed & its own numbers got nerfed.
-
The additions are great, the layout i can definitely do without.

tell me your secrets
In my personal opinion, the design team deserves the most praise.
Tastes will differ, but they constantly pump out cosmetics that range from meh to amazing, not including reskins.
I kinda agree on the point that it's odd it's not here already, but i don't doubt a Killer will be similar to the reaper someday.
Just to clarify: I don't know for sure, the design team just rarely disappoints me is all i mean.
-
Continuous Rituals (CR).
So besides Daily Rituals, both sides, Survivor & Killer, can have 1 CR active at a time.
The challenges are like Daily Rituals, and the rewards are too.
But once you accept the BP of a completed CR, you will immediately get a new one.
If you don't like your current CR challenge, you can remove it like you can with Daily Rituals, but instead of being only able to once every day, you can remove it for 1 CR Point.
For every trial you complete (which doesn't mean "kill all" or "escape", but just means "finish the Trial with any result"), you get 1 CR Point if it isn't at its maximum, which is 3 CR Points.
Daily Rituals will have multiple options, but you get only one per day.
Continuous Rituals have as many as you want, but you get only one choice per challenge.
Maybe this isn't as effective as the usual "remove Perk tiers" or just a straight up total BP increase, but i thought i'd try something different from everyone else.
Literally made this up on the spot.
-
Probably.
-
Well people have been saying that since at least year 1, and some people's reasoning was the same as yours.
Someday you'll be right i guess, most multiplayer-only games will die someday.

I don't even think Wraith needs another spotlight. Most people would be happy if the devs gave Wraith a buff to his cloak movement speed.
That shouldn't be too hard to accomplish. It's baffling to me they haven't done so already.
I'd be happy to have that added, but i'd be sad if the announced addition wouldn't make it in.
Again, it's probably not hard to accomplish, it's probably a thing they want to do in another spotlight.
-
I won't mind the new HUD, but i do prefer the current one.
Only reason for that is that the new HUD will place every separate thing in a separate corner or on a separate side of the screen.
Unlike you, i think it's quite the clutter, and i prefer the more compact look of the current one.
I do like the Survivors' actual faces being there & the Hook stages, but i'm 100% sure those could be implemented into the old HUD.

You'd think it'd be there after everyone has continually asked for it for the past two or so years. Nobody asked for a hook state indicator but that's what made it in.
Not quite true, numerous times have i seen that request come up here.

Wraith already had his spotlight. And we all know what happened there.
Face it, if the devs really wanted to, they could have easily increased his cloaked movement speed.
Yeah, that was a long time ago.
You talk as if Killers get 1 spotlight each.
-
I can only imagine that they want to do more with him in his own spotlight later on.
It was Clown's turn, and this small addition was simple & QoL enough to be added now.
Again, that's how i think it is.
-
Can't deny that i do wish Survivor gameplay would be held upside-down, shake the status quo out of it, and jam something new in the jar.
-
Well idk what anyone else considers "almost never", but i do believe i would belong to the group, purely from my preferred way of playing which by itself discourages me to go for those who might have DS active.
-
Fine mostly.
Happy about the Wraith & Hex: Undying changes, but i still am scared of the tiny possibility that more will happen to Wraith than just this.
It's a small fear though, i'm fine with most of the stuff.
-
Appreciate the effort.
But it's an online forum...and it's DbD...
-
I'm really glad Wraith gets this change, but i know it won't be enough for him.
He does need more, even though i am happy he gets this now.
-
It's actually guaranteeing a spot in my build now.
The problem is which Perk to remove...

I think it’s best when you got them in a checkmate situation. Someone is dying on the hook at 4 stacks, and you are standing right over someone else. They literally give you the button to push and it’s hilarious
Sure, but i thought i'd go for a way less common occurrence. 😋
