    1 Gen = 80 seconds with 1 survivor

    *game start*

Killer need 10-30 second to find the first survivor

Survivor find Gens after 5-10 seconds

Killer hit the first survivor after 15-30 seconds

    *hit slow/survivor little sprintboost*

Killer down the first survivor after 15-30 seconds

    *hook animation,etc....*

Killer hook 1 survivor after 55-95 seconds

The 3 other survivors repaired 3 gens.

    Killer 1/12 hook / Survivors 3/5 gens

But you know, just adept and git gut.

    Never combine DbD with math.

    Its pure horror.

For how scary that can look I'd even argue you were extremely lenient on "Killer down the first survivor after 15-30 seconds"

or even "Killer hit the first survivor after 15-30 seconds"

Good survivors are probably looping much longer than that and that's even before putting DS, BT, MoM, Adrenaline, Insta heals, body blocks, flashlights and all the exhaustion perks into the equation.

Anyway I agree with your point, it's just even WAY worse than the numbers you presented.

There's no point in that until they give us a reward for being able to maintain a high rank....or give us a reward for anything in general. This game is the only one I know that more often punishes you for doing well instead of rewarding you.

Well yes deranking and rank rewards is something they would have to fix first as I mentioned in my previous posts.

  • @ClogWench said:

If a game mechanic itself is changed based on rank, survivors are just gonna derank intentionally to keep the easier mechanics so unfortunately ideas like this can never work

While I agree about it making deranking worse, I'd say that is more an issue with deranking/rank rewards being an issue that needs to be fixed and not a reason for his idea not to work.

Never said it did. Iron Will is just in general vastly superior to Calm Spirit. It will be more useful against Plague than Calm Spirit would.

  • I also really want that hotfix for blood points on finishing a gen. I keep forgetting to let go early and getting nothing. It is quite an annoying bug.

This comes up a great deal and I understand that looking only at the forum in key moments that it seems like it is killer heavy. The forum itself is actually a decent cross section of killer and survivor "mains" and people who just play both sides at a similar rate. When it comes to the amount of changes to the game that have happened, the actual history of the game skews more towards survivor favor than killer favor. The dev team in general seems to be more aware of the desires of survivors more than killers.

Killers tend to get more QoL changes spread over a large amount of time, but seem to see more negative balancing in the short term. This is probably because Killers can be looked at in singular passes as every killer is different. Killers also have less actual perks than survivors so doing things to that side can often be possibly faster. Survivors have had the most positive balancing changes in the long term, but the less QoL changes overall. Part of that is that survivors have more influence over core gameplay. Killers don't really interact much at all with the game environment. Survivors doesn't have any thing unique to them that isn't a teachable perk so you can do large passes at the game to help them out on a slower cycle.

The other thing to consider is that a lot of things that are considered "nerfs" aren't actually meant to be nerfs. Some of this stems from the fact that the time between release of a killer or perk that is overperforming and adjustment to bring it in line with the current state of the game can be months or an entire year. Other games have systems in place to address these issues much sooner. DBD is still sort of functioning as a big budget "Early Access" as certain keynote features are just starting to materialize. With that huge amount of time they get the positive effect of data gathering, but the it comes with the negative effect of players becoming set on a particular killer or perk not changing. That it and things like it are ok for the health of the game.

MoM was never healthy for the game as a whole. Currently, the counterplay to it is at worst don't hit the person using it and at best stop playing any killer than doesn't have a damaging m2. That's not good counterplay. You mentioned the aura reading, but I would ask you to think about how many times OoB turned into a "free hit". Not many. Currently, they are thinking and prototyping possible changes to MoM which may not materialize for months or even at all. This has little to do with killers when they can see the data that MoM is generating.

    Well said.

"Some of this stems from the fact that the time between release of a killer or perk that is overperforming and adjustment to bring it in line with the current state of the game can be months or an entire year. Other games have systems in place to address these issues much sooner. DBD is still sort of functioning as a big budget "Early Access" as certain keynote features are just starting to materialize."

This is extremely true and a heavy point that leads to a lot of peoples frustrations. People are very quick to be upset in the game about something that's "unbalanced" because it takes forever to actually get addressed. Months to notice it, months to test it and then months before actual release. So when people see something like MoM get released their first thought is like, " whelp we're stuck with this now for a year". If hypothetically they were much faster with fixes and updates like most title 1 games I think people would be much less upset on release.

Also like you mentioned there are a lot of features we are still waiting on that one would normally have expected to be already implemented on the games release, like a 3 year old game without rank rewards as just one example.

I basically just agreed with you but your points hit home for a lot of the player base and why they are so easily upset.

Problem with a system like that is that people already derank on purpose. It'd just be one more incentive for people to do that.

Ideally deranking on purpose would be punishable but nah, they'd have to punish a good portion of their Fog Whisperers. We WoULdn'T WaNt ThAt.

Well I'd say that's more an issue with deranking that needs to be handled rather than a reason not to consider the aforementioned idea.

I do agree though the deranking is a serious issue that's gone out of control, especially when it's a Fogwhisperer who's suppose to represent the company doing so. I've had those Fogwhisperers even in my own games when they aren't streaming doing it with a bunch of their buddies. Seeing as they are representing BHVR they should be held more accountable.

  • Seams extremely forgiving to me.

You can scroll through and search. Its on page 1 near the middle. Multiple people commented and talked about how the whole 80% thing was nonsense and dropped the facts behind it. Also on another post i can't remember where and guy ran through all the killers and their counters to MoM which has been the heavy controversy lately and said only 4 killers dont have 1, but they still have stealth, moris, etc etc. Im not a new player. Im not an idiot either. Because you are play more killer than you do survivor you think you can just try and prove you point by saying not accurate, not accurate because i said a generalized statement just giving an example of the situation. Like with your comment saying implying a glitch is a killer buff isn't accurate. I never said it was a killer buff or implied it. Those words came outta your deflecting, alternative facts mouth. Not mine lol. Also me saying rarely killers perks and add ons nerfed. survivors always do. You just saw the always and are like wrong, its impossible to be always cause it would happen every single update. Knowing mf well the always was just a generalization and exaggeration. I have friends that have been ranked 1 many seasons constantly, and play killer somewhat as well so this isn't just a biased opinion from me. They literally see the stuff, watch streamers that deal with the stuff, etc etc. You on the hot nonsense right now cause im talking about your main role and obviously you feeling personally attacked and are taking it some type of way. But whatever though, gg bro. Killers have to be super op cause its 4v1 is the go to staple comment and argument from majority of people that disagree with survivors complaining about anything unfavorable towards them.

First things first, learn to space your sentences. People don't like to read a long run on paragraph. You also keep typing in broken English with grammatical and structural errors which makes your points very disjointed and difficult to follow to a native English speaker.

"on another post i can't remember where and guy ran through all the killers and their counters to MoM"

This is something I shouldn't have to explain which is why it's annoying. The only counters to MoM are playing a killer that can 1 shot. That is limited to only a few killers and even on those killers you are not reliably going to down someone with that 1 shot every single time. You WILL end up eating that MoM at some point. Now if you play one of the other 3/4 of killers without 1 shots you are just SOL. The perk punishes the killer for doing his job and is ANOTHER chase extender which is extremely unhealthy for the game as we already have an issue with that and it is already why DS got nerfed in the first place.

I didn't want to have to write all this because you aren't going to agree. You aren't going to agree because you don't play killer and survivor at rank 1 so you haven't experienced why ANOTHER chase extender is even a big issue and why it is extremely unhealthy for the game.

Even the devs agree with what I am saying here which is why it's currently being reworked for the next patch in the first place.

    "Im not a new player."

Someone with a lot of experience in the game would not think the things that you do which is why I do not believe you. Want to prove me wrong? Link your profile for us to see.

"Because you are play more killer than you do survivor"

What makes you think I play more killer than survivor? This is purely your ASSUMPTION because you disagree with me. I play BOTH sides at rank 1 on every single reset since the game game out.

"Like with your comment saying implying a glitch is a killer buff isn't accurate. I never said it was a killer buff or implied it."

This is you being very disingenuous. You did indeed imply that or there was no reason for you to have said it.

"Those words came outta your deflecting, alternative facts mouth"

Please list what I have "deflected".

Also, "alternative facts"? That doesn't even make sense. Facts are facts. You can't have such a thing as alternative facts, that's an oxymoron.

"You just saw the always and are like wrong,"

No, that is incorrect. I didn't jump at the word "always". Even "generally" speaking, your statement was still not accurate.

    "generalization and exaggeration"

As I said, even taken as a generalization your statement is still simply not true.

"I have friends that have been ranked 1 many seasons constantly, and play killer somewhat as well so this isn't just a biased opinion from me"

You are basing your opinions on watching some other players...not even your own experience. You must realize the fallacies in that.

"You on the hot nonsense right now cause im talking about your main role and obviously you feeling personally attacked and are taking it some type of way."

You have no idea what my "main role is", you just assumed it. I also do not feel personally attacked at all. You are assuming my responses are based on emotion from your replies and that isn't the case whatsoever. You have just been advocating for terrible changes that you know nothing of and could potentially ruin the game that I care deeply for.

"Killers have to be super op cause its 4v1 is the go to staple comment and argument from majority of people that disagree with survivors complaining about anything unfavorable towards them."

Are you really implying that in an ASSYMETRICAL 4v1 that the singular role should not be more powerful than the individual survivors? That is literally what an asymmetrical game is.

  • There's such a polarizing difference between higher and lower ranks. This makes me start to wonder if they should do like they did with the pipping system, where it gets increasingly harder the higher rank you get.

Example being like the higher rank you go, the longer gens take or the more gens you have to do. It doesn't have to literally be that, but you get the idea. The requirement for survivors to escape getting harder the more you go up.

This also makes sense when you look at how the difficulty scales. As a killer the higher rank you go, the harder your games get. As a survivor the higher rank you go, the easier the game gets. This is because the biggest hurdle hurting survivors is getting bad teammates. As the survivors rank goes up, the likelihood of them getting really good teammates gets much higher.

  • The grind is definitely starting to get noticeable. I general get every single killer to p3 and unlock all perks every time a new one is released as well as getting the new 3 perks on every other previous killer picked up. Getting each new killer to p3 and then getting every single perk used to be not that bad but it has become extremely slower and is taking much longer these days. I can only imagine for a person that plays this game as a casual that it's just way out of their reach.

First things first they really need to improve the dailies. The bloodpoint amounts they give are just complete garbage. Their reward amount needs to literally be tripled.

I think they also might want to make it so 3 perks start showing in the webs after you get to 50 and you can pick up 2 maybe instead of 1 per web.

lol all you said was not accurate and only tried to give 2 explanations for why it wasnt accurate, which werent even that good to prove your point. Try again bro. If you scroll up there are a few people that commented and proved the alternative facts point i made. like how someone tried to say it was an 80% survival rate at rank 1. then got shat on shortly after. etc etc etc. gg though

Clearly by my upvotes people agree with me. You made stupid claims that were completely unsubstantiated. There's nothing to "explain" when you say things that you have no basis for believing. Most all of these are common sense and I shouldn't need to explain common sense things to you. If you actually played both sides to any meaningful rank you wouldn't believe the nonsense you do.

"If you scroll up there are a few people that commented and proved the alternative facts point i made"

No one proved a single thing you have said. If you disagree link the proof. It doesn't exist.

"like how someone tried to say it was an 80% survival rate at rank 1. then got shat on shortly after."

Because 1 person disagreeing with that guy is "getting shat on". Oh please.

For being a new player it's fine to have no idea what's going on, but it's another to come on here insulting people and asking for changes to the game that you know nothing about. You need to play the game more and then you'll realize how absolutely ridiculous these things you are saying truly are.

You should say which platform you're playing.

Also their rank and play hours so we have some idea what they are looking for.

  • I guess he just means at a faster rate. At least 75% of the games perks are just really bad. I also wonder though if the issue is that they are too weak or are those top "meta" perks just too strong and make the other ones look weak by comparison. Maybe instead of buffing the weaker ones we just need to nerf the highest ones? Just a thought.

Either way A LOT of perks need changes and at a much faster rate than they have been.

  • That isn't good enough. No one would use that.

  • It honestly should give the players that receive enough of them badges so when the killers or other survivors in the lobby can see it around their portrait and know they're specifically a liked player.

  • Yeah it's been a very, very long time and they are still terrible.

  • @Peanits said:

74.55% kill rate at rank 1 in the past week or so alone. That's an average of three kills per game, basically.

That number is highly skewed by multiple factors the stats don't take into account. Enough to make it almost meaningless to use as a standard for balance. This goes for the other killer stats as well.

  • As Orion said, this is basically DS and not balanced at all.

  • I won't focus as much on Legions addons as the devs already acknowledged that a bunch of them aren't as good as they should be and are being worked on.

    1. Amanda's Letter (to many negatives for such a small positive) (though I have seen players use the add-on and do very well with it)

This addon doesn't even deserve to have the negative attached to it. Just take off the reduced traps and it will be a good addon.

    1. Rule Set No.2 (should be basekit)(50/50 chance if its useful)

    Agreed. Should be base kit.

    1. Amanda's Secret (the pig worst add-on and top worst add-on for all killers, nothing redeemable about it)

    Yeah it's pretty garbage

    1. All add-ons that effect the jigsaw box skill checks (jigsaw boxes skill checks are easy to hit)(never good in any situation)

Agreed. These addons are pretty pointless as skill checks are too easy. They need a complete overhaul.

    1. All add-ons that cause status effect (survivors just wont heal or just cant use exhaustion perk for the time being while having the RBT and as pig you shouldnt be chasing them anyway)(hemorrhage one is just terrible)(blindness is good with specific builds)

I actually don't mind these ones as much. That said, Blindness NEEDS TO AFFECT BOXES. I don't know why they thought that would be too severe, it isn't.

    1. Shattered syringe (not strong enough to warrant having its own add-on slot)(I would just use the "video tape" add-on if I want this effect as a side bonus)

    Something different would be nice.

Along with this note of addons, The Pig also need her crouch view point raised to match her actual height and to either remove the roar on her ambush or put it at the very end of it as the sound ruins a lot of its mind game potential.

If she got all these things fixed she would actually be looking pretty decent.

It's the year of the pig so I hope Amanda really gets a good look at soon to fix her up.

@Peanits @not_Queen @Patricia These have been some pretty important things The Pig has been needing since her release if y'all have the chance to bring them up at one of your meetings. I know you have Freddy coming up but just for down the road after him when y'all get the chance since I know you were gonna be looking at her trap changes you wanted to do soon anyway. Thanks!

  • I think it's still slightly too easy to rank up as both killer and survivor.

  • @Poweas said:

@Blueberry Hag is more difficult to counter than Billy. Running through her traps are sometimes futile because if she teleports (Using STBFL for a ridiculously short cooldown so she can fly around) the survivors are pretty much dead. And she can go everywhere.

Don't get what you mean by Billy is hard to counter either, just loop him. Some Billy's know antiloop skills, and u gotta stealth them. Ez

"Hag is more difficult to counter than Billy"

That's fine if that's how you feel. I personally disagree.

"Running through her traps are sometimes futile because if she teleports (Using STBFL for a ridiculously short cooldown so she can fly around) the survivors are pretty much dead. And she can go everywhere."

Smart survivors are doing that running through traps at times you wouldn't be able to do that. IE during carries for one example.

"Don't get what you mean by Billy is hard to counter either, just loop him"

He is countered by looping, but the thing is he has such high mobility that it is MUCH easier to catch people out and too far from a loop with him. Also because of his saw the times that he does catch you out (which is high because of my previous statement) are MUCH more punishing than almost any other killer. Against a good Billy with no loop it's very rare you are dodging that saw on your back.

  • @Digwiid said:

So what i can gather from this thread is that people don't mind facing Hag, Huntress or Myers. I would have thought Hag being in the top with the "unfair" hook trapping and what not.

For myself it's probably Trapper and Spirit. Trapper just makes something tick in my brain and makes the whole match into an anxiety filled torture, and Spirit IF they're good is basically a ticking time bomb of when they'll just home in on me after the first hit.

I do think Hag and Myers are unfun playstyles to go against as survivor. The only reason you don't see people list them is because they're very easily countered, where as with killers like nurse and billy their unfun isn't because of how they play it's because their low level of counterplay.

Most people would take a killer with a playstyle they don't like over a killer they don't feel they have a fair chance of winning against.

  • This doesn't seem legit at all. I want some actual evidence.

  • Unless you play one of the few rank 1 viable killers it is frustrating. Unless they're just potato survivors anyway.

Survivor is a little boring because it's too easy imo. I'd like more challenge. Make me have to actually put down the pizza, turn of the tele and pay attention a little. The skill ceiling for survivor is very low.

  • It's basically a required perk on him imo. Always an auto lock.

  • I think your assuming this is to test for a new game mode to split the player base. I wouldn't be so quick to draw that conclusion. This could very well be there way of testing how balanced the core game is and to see how much of the imbalances are because of perks or because of base game design. I think they could be just trying to narrow down the core game issues for imbalance.

If it is indeed for a new game type then I agree with you that it is a bad idea to split the player base for it. This is why I'm not one of the people wanting a new game mode. I think the core game just needs improvements.

  • "Currently there are 4.5K discussions in the killers chat room and only 3.8k in the survivors.

This should give us a good idea of how many are playing them as mains, but I'm betting not everyone who plays visits the web sight."

First things first, you don't want to jump to conclusions so quickly. This isn't an accurate assumption. There could be more survivors, but more issues for killers in the game currently, hence the more posts.

It also does not imply their mains. They could post in the killer forums more but main both.

"Which means, if they're looking for information regarding what the community wants as a whole, it's most likely skewed in the killers favor."

This isn't quite accurate either. This depends what the devs value. Yes it means they see more killer opinions, but you could also argue that they value the survivor opinions more because each game is a 4 to 1 ratio. This 4 to 1 ratio in each match means the game inherently needs more survivors in how it functions so making changes more favorable to survivors is going to be more appealing to more of their audience than killers. IE more money for them.

"If I'm right, and the killers outnumber the survivors"

I would gather the opposite is true.

"If the God's of Dead By Daylight are looking for feedback the response of the killers opinions will likely overwhelm the survivors, and therefor in the killers favor, to the survivors disadvantage. Which will likely result in less survivors playing, longer wait times for the killers, etc."

This is another very large assumption that isn't quite accurate. You are drawing many conclusions from things that aren't that cut and dry. I mean who's to say MORE survivors wouldn't start playing because now survivors have an actual challenge and it isn't too easy any more? You see my point.

"But I thought that the issue with the unbalanced feedback should be addressed"

Is it unbalanced because there's more killers posting or because there are indeed actually more issues on the killer side that need addressing. I would argue that even a lot of the people posting in the killer forums ARE survivor mains.

I'd like to see more data just like you would on these things. I just think you should be more careful with jumping to conclusions and mixing up causation with correlation in your analysis.

  • You really need to try and summarize better if you want people to read things. The MoM nerf is very deserved and a good thing.

"This whole MoM perk nerf is dumb"

    Not accurate.

"Y'all try and drop some alternative and biased facts on why killers are underpowered"

He only considers them biased because he disagrees. Most these killer complaints are quite legit and this is coming from someone who plays both sides regularly at rank 1. Not accurate.

"the game is balance cause 50% kill and survival right, but thats nonsense."

This is the only thing he said that is accurate. The percentage survivor rates are nonsense because there are a multitude of factors that they don't take into account making them near worthless. The problem is he thinks the the survival rate is actually lower than 50% when in reality it's MUCH higher than 50% because of all the factors it isn't taking into account. The stats make killers look much stronger than they actually are in reality.

THAT is why he got downvotes. NOT because the forums are full of killer mains.

@Frugl1lol peanits explained why the 80% escape rate isn’t even remotely close to accurate and that it’s actually more like half that. Data was taken based off end game screen rank

Keep in mind, you could also counter argue that by mentioning how skewed that percentage is from NOED. If you took NOED kills out of the calculation their survival rate is probably MUCH higher. I mention taking NOED out because we are using this data to determine how balanced killers are. NOED isn't determining balance because it has very little skill involved.

It's also skewed by counting DC's as kills. So in reality the survival rate is probably MUCH higher than even their data showed in reality.

  • If anything I'd say it's much more a survivor main forum. You just see more killer complaints because there are indeed much more legit killer complaints. "Legit" being the key word.

  • Surprising to me how many people pick Trapper

  • Even though I do play more killer, I play both sides at rank 1 regularly for the full perspective.

1.What are your feelings from the game? (when you play survivor ofc)

It's too easy. I'd like a more challenging experience that makes me have to put my pizza down and turn off the movie I'm watching.

2.What killer is the one you like to play against and which is not?

I like playing against Huntress and Spirit. I do not like playing against Billy or Nurse

3.What is interesting part about playing survivors for you?

    The chases

4.Is the game satisfying for you?

As survivor it is mostly, I'd like it to be more challenging though. Survivor feels too strong. As killer I'd say no, you don't feel like you are the power role. As killer you feel like a point pinyata for survivors.

5.If you could change something, what would it be?

Map balance and more rank 1 viable killers.

6.Do you think that Survivor is easy, medium or difficult to play?

    Extremely easy

7.Which side is, in your opinion, more interactive

    Killer

8.Do survivors require considerable skills to be considered good? Otherwise, is the skill cap for survivors high or low?

The skill ceiling on survivor is quite low which means to be good you only need a very basic game mechanic understanding. All you need is some basic pallet loop understanding and rank 1 is pretty easy.

I'll add some spice to Blood Warden, but without increasing the blocking timer.

    Blood Warden:

Death awaits for fleeing survivors. Upon hooking a survivor when at least one of the exit gates are open:

    • The Entity will block both exit gates until 40/50/60 seconds have elapsed within the collapse timer. Survivors cannot escape through the exit gates while they are blocked.
    • Survivors will reveal their auras to the killer while suffering from the exposed status effect until the Entity stops blocking the exit gates.

Alright, this perk should be pretty solid with these changes. The reason why I added free exposed and aura reading is to encourage the killer to not camp. Furthermore, the perk can serve two purposes: Sacrifice greedy survivors with the EGC or sacrifice greedy survivors with your immense strength.

Woah that was a huge buff. People would definitely use that, but now you just made an even better NOED. There'd be no reason to run NOED when this is just better and without a counter on totems other than waiting it out. Survivors that have their aura revealed while within the gate area will be become afflicted with the Exposed status for 30 seconds.

You're right, regardless of the collapse timer being slown down or going at normal speed, Blood Warden will not deactivate until the collapse timer has 60 seconds less than than what it previously had when it activated . Therefore, once you hook someone while the collapse timer has less than 60 seconds, that's GG for any survivor remaining. This is what I want because currently, the Entity blocks both gates for 40/50/60 seconds and those 40/50/60 seconds might not even worth 40/50/60 seconds on the collapse timer. That's my only gripe because Blood Warden is supposed to be dangerous if you're greedy.

I'll take whatever it can get. I don't think it would be enough of a buff to get any more people to use it though and that;s already an extremely low number. That scenario would be a GG for the remaining survivors but you'd see that happen once every maybe 20 games you run it, highly situational that actually happens.

Two of the survivors in the video are people I've played against before and they are indeed good survivors. One of them is a Spirit main as well, so even though he knows what I'm doing I could still outplay him.

I could throw this back in your face too. If you're landing hits out of phase walk on healthy survivors then they must be potatoes, because it's insanely easy to dodge a hit out of phase walk.

Chasing as a 110 killer is not impossible even against good survivors. Especially as Spirit because of her passive shifting, you can mind game survivors without even using your power.

And I didn't post the clip to disprove you, I posted it to prove my point. That it's better to save your phase walk for when you need it. If I used it against Dwight to catch him at that pallet I wouldn't have been able to go after Nea and stop the save. Spirit's that use their power too much become predictable and you end up wasting it against healthy survivors. YES if they are running in a straight line you can get them. YES if they are at a loop you can use it to get a hit. But generally speaking, if you use your power too much it will hurt you more than help. You need to wait for the right time. One of those right times being after you land the first hit for an easy and quick second hit.

"I could throw this back in your face too."

I haven't thrown anything at you. I just disagree with you.

"And I didn't post the clip to disprove you, I posted it to prove my point"

    They are synonymous.

"If you're landing hits out of phase walk on healthy survivors then they must be potatoes, because it's insanely easy to dodge a hit out of phase walk."

Those are very different scenarios and not equally comparable in that way.

"But generally speaking, if you use your power too much it will hurt you more than help."

I could "generally" say the same the thing for your scenarios.

I get what you're saying, I just disagree with you and there's nothing I could say that would convince you of otherwise.

Excuse me? Im red rank EVERY season and everything he says is 100% true. Stop acting so elite because you THINK you play the game at the 'highest' level.

Do you play killer as well at rank 1?

  • @tt_ivi_99 said:

You play purple ranks, there are no tryhards there, that's why you dont have a problem with MoM. That doesnt mean the perk is balanced, would you say 5 blink Nurse is balanced if you'd only see potatoes using her? No, right? This is the same. MoM has no counter play and is getting balanced (not nerfed) because of It.

You say camping and tunneling are out of control, you want to know why? Most people camp when there's no other choice, they camp at the end-game to secure a kill, that's because the game doesnt provide killers enough time to accomplish their objective before survivors accomplish their objective, even devs have recognized this problem. Same goes for tunneling, when people dont care about healing and just rush gens like there's no tomorrow you'll see that the only viable way to get kills is by tunneling, simple as that. You want these problems gone? Then pray for killer buffs.

You say survivors are leaving because they're getting nerfed? It's come to a point in which survivors are moaning and crying because they have been taken away the control they had over killers. Broken bs like old exhaustion recovery while running, old DS, MoM (soon), pallet vacuum and many other have been nerfed so that the game can be more balanced, most of the survivors that are leaving the game for that reason is because they wont be able to bully the killer anymore.

You say the player base has dropped, and it's because survivors are leaving? Do you have proof of that? Double pallets are back, Thanatophobia got nerfed, sounds are still broken, fast vaults are still broken, things like infinites are still a thing, Legion got nerfed, Pig got nerfed for no reason as well, MoM is basically DS 2.0 rn, ######### like Insta-heals are still a thing, genrush hasnt been adressed yet, we are going to see the first gameplay of Freddy's rework this month after waiting almost a year for it, etc, etc. And you say the ones that are leaving are survivors? Dont make me laugh.

    +1 Well said.

Yea... I play at rank 1 with Spirit and good survivors will juke you if you phase walk from far away and they are healthy. It's insanely easy to avoid, and all you end up doing as Spirit is wasting your power and you end up having to chase them anyway. Like I said, you want to use it to catch up but not strictly to hit them out of phase walk. If you over use it it will be on cooldown when you need it, which is indeed very long as a full cooldown is 15s.

You act like chasing as a 110 killer is absolutely impossible. It's really not. It's harder than a 115 killer yes, but you can still run them down. You have to be more optimal with your pathing, but it's something you can easily do. Of course, you need to be a certain distance which is why I say use your power to catch up. You want to be close behind them, if you pass them there is a chance you might lose the chase and that is very punishing. If they take you to a loop then yes, use your power to land the hit, but if you are not at a loop just chase them for the hit. It might take a tad bit longer, but now that they are injured you can run them down super easy for the second hit. It's like clockwork, even against good survivors this works. That's literally my main tactic... injure them then phase walk for second hit. 1 in 10 survivors might be able to juke the attack out of phase walk, and 1 in 10 of those survivors will do it well enough to extend the chase to another loop.

And before you start going "derr proof" Here is a clip:

    https://xboxclips.com/thesuicidefox/58cb8904-31bb-4b49-893a-e82bdb858cf5

I had seen the Nea with BBQ on that gen. I went for Dwight and slugged him, then used my power to catch up to where I expected her to be. She had JUST ran past me and I simply chase her down without my power and get her before she gets to the hook. My power charged before the chase ended (but only because I had a recovery add-on), so if she was too far I could have used it to catch her too but I didn't need it. You can see I made it to rank 1, and I would show you another clip where I was already rank 1 but I usually only clip that first game where I reach rank 1 if it was a merciless victory. Point being you can easily chase a survivor without your power.

"You act like chasing as a 110 killer is absolutely impossible."

"Generally" it is. If you're landing them they are potatoes.

"And before you start going "derr proof" Here is a clip:"

I can post lots of clips like that as well it doesn't disprove anything I've said.

I just quite simply disagree with you. Those games that make you think it's viable are really just bad survivors. Against actually good survivors that isn't happening.

"There is zero evidence that they don't have the rights to Scream. This is purely your speculation."

this is enough for me to understand that you are a troll who doesn't know at all what he is talking about, he continues to live in your world, see you when the chapter of ghostface will be published with only the killer x)

"According to you why is there only the original mask and not even the dress?"

Because there's nuance as to who actually holds the license for the robe. It isn't the same one holding Screams license.

They also could've just simply wanted it different to fit DBD.

"this is enough for me to understand that you are a troll who doesn't know at all what he is talking about, he continues to live in your world, see you when the chapter of ghostface will be published with only the killer x)"

The only person here trolling is you.

  • "Survivor player base is getting to a concerning level"

This simply not true and you don't have any data to show otherwise.

"I find most of the killer community on this board do not represent the majority of killers by far. They are whiney, and cry about everything that prevents an easy 4k within 7 minutes."

You have nothing to actually substantiate this. You also just disagree with the killers opinions and ASSUME "cry about everything that prevents an easy 4k within 7 minutes." is what they want, which is also not true. "whiney, and cry" is your interpretation of stating issues with the game.

Just because the killers think the game isn't balanced doesn't make them whiney, crying, or just want 4k's.

"If we keep sliding the game to the killer side"

The game has been since its release and still is heavily survivor sided. That isn't an opinion. I play BOTH sides at rank 1 on every reset with vastly more hours than the average player so I am not biased in this whatsoever. Playing survivor right now is very easy.

"Personally, I have found that most games are too easy. Nine of ten games are 3-4k, with several being mercy hatches."

If you really were doing this well then you would be rank 1. Since you aren't this is clearly not completely true.

"So why are we continuing to nerf survivor side perks/game play?"

Because it's needed. "Most" killers are still extremely weak.

"It is not a competitive game, and never will be."

The definition of competitive would disagree with you.

"So, for all of those who don't care about the game health"

If you cared about the games health you would be asking for killer buffs to get them to the strength they should be at.

"Survivors need options other than pallet looping"

This is the only thing you've said that I agree with. Survivors do need more options than pallet looping.

Adrenaline is not-healthy design. I had game with 2 guys on hook, 2 injured. I was chasing one while second finished gen. 2 healthy, 2 hooked. The guy whom I wasn't chasing unhooked both - both healthy. So from 2 hooks, 2 injured - 4 healthy in less then 30 seconds, hooks were close to each other. That is fkn not healthy.

You can't do same with NOED unless they jump on your weapon. NOED is counterable, it does not reward Killer for beeing bad, it just adds a bit of secondary objectives for survivors to consider.

Well tbh i could see a small nerf to adrenaline being reasonable.

NOED gives killers kills because the survivors were lazy, not because they earned them. I personally think it gives undeserved kills and is a crutch which is why I don't use it. Maybe we just disagree and that's fine.

  • She's just high because she punishes altruism and survivors are generally over altruistic.

  • @Frozenscum said:

About NOED - stop trying to fix something that isnt broken. NOED is fine, its counterable and not that big of threat.

Well I did mention that I don't think it's broken or OP at all. I just don't think it's healthy design.
