  • Bamboozle:

Bamboozle shuts down super loops such as the Ironworks of misery hole loop, the cow tree loop, shack loop, and is a ton of help on Haddonfield

For most maps you won't use it much if at all, but when you run into those maps or a perfect window loop you will wish you had bamboozle. Either way it's of great help ending chases soon because survivors will have to take a hit or drop a pallet. All of which can lead them into an area where they could be downed

  • STOUT STOUT SHAKO

    FOR, FOR, TWO REFINED!

    Untitled Image

  • Haunted grounds is a hilarious counter to it, because if they cleanse a totem they get 60 seconds of exposed

If they don't they only get 3 totems the whole game

    Yes

Like making sure some players can actually see the scratch marks

Legion lame, Under-Water Trapper is the absolute best skin ever

  • Yeah you gotta admit despite being 3 years in development this game has very little customizable and toggable settings, almost as little as a rushed console port

Even EA games have multiple color blind settings

Freddy was in a good spot after his rework. He didn't need this.

The Oblivious effect also negatively affects him since now some perks are useless on him, such as Unnerving which was useless prior to his rework too, and is no useless again.

This new status is a bad decision. Just nerf OOO we don't need this.

  • I believe in making my lobbies fun for everyone and having some actual sportsmanship. I simply don't see the fun in being a jerk and ruining the game for everyone

I have a number of self made guidelines I like to follow

  • I like how people in this thread have been acting like only one side has been getting massive one-sided buffs the past year when it's actually a lot more complicated than that

But hey the "Devs nerfed my free health Mettle. Devs hate survivors, killers ruin game" or "Devs nerfed Enduring. Devs hate killers, survivors ruin game" argument couldn't be used if everyone wasn't super freaking biased to the playstyle they main, and evaluated the game's changes with an open eye

    Looking at you @alienschmalien

And trust me I can bring up past history to prove the developers are doing their best to balance the game for both sides this past year and a half

  • I dislike Dead-Hard because it can completely counter a good mind-game

Mind-Games are a huge reason of why I play, and it's annoying how even if I execute the mind-game perfectly the survivor can press the "Oh I just messed up" button, get to the pallet, and reset the chase

Very annoying. Still I highly prefer facing Dead Hard to balanced landing which is just bloody tedious

"Yes, yes, we know you have balanced landing. Yes, yes we know I'm going to be so shocked that once I run around the mountain and get to you while you've been standing by that ledge for 20 seconds, you'll drop down and speed away"

Behavior really needs to change the meta for DBD away from the omega chances build, you cannot blame anyone for using it because it is very strong

It's just really boring going against the same loadout over and over again

  • I'll just stick with Weasel. Even on Ghostface, Plague and Wraith, the killers surge could potentially work the best on Your better off just using Weasel to control Generators on them just due to Weasel's versatility

Especially Wraith as his mobility can allow him to pressure generators very easily

Surge could have been a fun new gen control perk that could have made people back off from Corrupt and Ruin. A shame, a missed opportunity

  • @MrPeterPFL said:

Brought him recently and would love to hear everyone's build for him :)

    BBQ, Monitor, Haunted Grounds, Weasel

  • It's annoying to be playing a stealthy or trap killer on the map since it has huge line of sight openings

And the fact everything is white means not even a Tar Bottle trap can hide anywhere but the grass and some parts of the house

  • Pennywise in the lore is stated to be an ancient world eater

I mean his main rival is a Turtle God that creates galaxies

Something tells me that's a lot stronger than the entity

  • This is what happens when you do a Rank Reset less than a bloody week before the release of a major DLC

AND A SALE ON TOP OF A FREE TO PLAY WEEKEND

Behavior seriously did not think this bloody through

  • Even if they removed the aura tracking I would still use it on all killers

Even with the BW changes the game is still a super grind-fest. While survivors can play without add-ons as it only affects items. Killers need to have add-ons in order to stay competitive, use certain playstyles, and just generally buff them

Especially in the case of very add-on dependent killers such as Ghostface, Wraith, Trapper, Bubba, and others

  • Pharmacy>>Inner Strength>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Self-Ish sit in a corner for a minute while team gets downed and gens regressed care

  • Hello, while your original post is good and details your complaints well. There are a few grammar issues, so I went through and fixed your post grammatically so your argument will be fully appreciated

What is wrong with the game:

    Balancing problems across the board

    Infinite loading screens

"Shard offerings for testing killers" appearing in my blood-webs despite owning every killer in the game

    Infinity loops in some maps

No "exit" button in first screen (which means if my internet goes down when I enter the game, the only way to exit is ctrl+alt+delete)

All survs are uglier than killers (ok, that's not so important but still)

Problems with localisation without fixes in 3(!!!) years

    Dancing ping

Waiting for the lobby 100500 minutes for join to killer from another side of the world and 600 ping, and same situation for killers (just waiting is twice as long)

Rank system what means nothing coz rotation of ranks in lobby can dance between 18 to 1 for everyone, and doesn't matter what rank you have.

SWF and all problems with it

    Useless report system

    And many-many other stuff

WHAT OUR GREAT DEVELOPERS are focusing on:

Deleted the "switch button between killers and survs".

What I really want to say is: If everything the developers have done to this game is just one big troll on the community (coz I can't believe you really do not understand, what the playerbase wants/needs in this game after TONS of feedback) maybe its time to finally reveal the truth. 3 years of trolling, trolling been great. However you need to stop it and start working like normal developers. Seriously. You have amazing potential, but you continually walk back any progress with bad decisions or lax work in other areas of the game. Its time to stop and improve. Thank you for your time.

@BlueFang - Wish I knew about that before making my post. Ash at the top and Nea at the bottom though!

I tend to heavily dislike Nea and especially Feng players due to personal experience

9 times out of 10 they are usually hook farmers, toxic, boring meta slaves, and just annoying to against

Especially Feng lately because her popularity has risen through the roof so she's without the most bland character to go against now

Ash is awesome, everyone who says otherwise is a heretic

  • Knowledge bomb incoming

Don't cleanse every totem you see, leave the totem that's in the middle of a field or by the exit gate up, that way if NOED does proc it's very likely going to spawn on that totem

The reason NOED can be devastating and last the entire EGC is because survivors cleanse all the totems in the open, except for the one totem in the corner of the map where you can't get to it

It's incredibly easy to rig lit totem spawns in your favor if people would get rid of this mindset that "Der, do one totem spawn that means you have to do A L L of them, cause reasons"

  • I think the simplest reason I like DBD is that it fills the monster game slot that I've always wanted

At it's absolute in chase gameplay both succeeding and failing at mindgames is a ton of fun. When you got two players constantly predicting each other just based on movement, and playstyle each hit or miss feels like they have actual weight and when you escape or down the survivor it feels great

DBD isn't quite unique, this style of gameplay has been done before in games such as Evolve or Depth. But despite it all DBD has become without a doubt the most successful of them all and for good reason

    I still want Wofman DLC

  • Aesthetic-wise Hawkins is the best map BHVR has ever made, the map is filled with atmosphere and ambience. For the first time a map in DBD actually looks like a real place

However game-play wise the map is kind of a bore, multiple rooms can have double pallets back to back along with a vaulting location, alternate routes, and debris that will slow the killer down. I'm not sure if they are meant to be the equivalent of the shack pallet, but either way it's just kind of annoying

However this map is a literal dream come true for Ghostface. It is by far my favorite map to play him on right now, I haven't tried Scratch though I feel the pallets and the portal room won't favor him much

I've had a semi fun match there as Demo and the rest were blah. As everyone else however the map was a ton of fun

Great job on Hawkins BHVR you guys did great

  • I find him very disappointing. His portals are not a fast travel mechanic like Freddy's instead you just plant them on totems and generators on one side of the map and just proxy camp the heck out of em

I find this incredibly boring. Likewise they also nerfed the practical use of Shred and there are plenty of loops on maps where you have no chance of using it. On top of that because he's so tall and has very loud audio cues it's very difficult to mind-game loops or even fake breaking pallets. Once I play him some more I might end up really liking him and seeing his potential as I did with Ghostface. But as of now all I can say is I am

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdEQmpVIE4A

  • Yeah I have to say the Demo's perks are just way too situational and weak. I'm just going to say it, Mind-Breaker is a complete and total joke. The only use MB has is against sprint burst and if your using a sneaky wraith, Scratched Mirror Michael, and maybe a Ghostface. However there are ultimately better perks for all three of them

Surge is just honestly pointless now, even though it's range has been increased it still doesn't proc on power hits like Infectious Fright does which ultimately strangles it's potential use. Now could it be useful on killers like Wraith, Ghostface, and Michael? Yes, however for that same slot you could equip Weasel which has no cool-down, can down a gen 50% if hit twice and down two gens by 25%, Corrupt or Ruin

Ultimately Surge's biggest weakness is still that healthy survivors can just run away most of the time, while it is nice that it procs perks such as Surveillance. It's honestly just not worth it unless your using a very specific generator control build

Cruel is honestly the best perk Demo has, however it's still highly map dependent. That said it is without a doubt the most reliable perk he has

I hope they buff the other two like they did Plague's which made them absolutely awesome. However I don't really have too much hope considering how worried they are about surge being too strong as it is

  • Bamboozle is great for killers that need to maximize time, being able to stop the shack loop as a Ghostface and down the exposed survivor is huge

Likewise not having to deal with some of the annoying loops such as the Ironworks hole loop, haddonfield, and so forth

only 1 there i agree with is demo else i dont agree with the rest but thats my opinion

It's not an acutal tier list it's more of just how good I am with each killer

I suppose there is some consideration of power, such as Pig's placing. But it's pretty much just how much fun I have playing the killers and how well I do with them

  • Untitled Image

    Yeahhh

Now the new has worn off, I genuinely don't like playing Demo at all at the moment

His portals are terrible and only useful if you camp the heck out of them in one section of the map, his surge is completely reliant on RNG

    Very boring, very unfun

Why use a self healing perk when you could bring a medkit?

Why bring a med-kit when you can get one for free everytime?

Seriously Pharmacy is without a doubt the best self-healing perk in the game and one that isn't self-ish either

  • I just had a game on Ormond with several thousand hour survivors. They finished 3 gens within 2 minutes

Fun. Even they said sorry they just wanted the escape points from my streamer

  • Why would any of you guys use these perks when Pharmacy exists?

Seriously, you search chests faster, get a guaranteed med-kit which could be green or purple tier.

Which you can use to heal your friends too. Seriously just bring Pharmacy

  • I noticed they added a two charge function to it. In the PTB once it was charged you got the full distance now you have to fully commit, ontop of making it feel really clunky by removing the cancel into lunge feature from the PTB

Yeah Demo feels a lot weaker with these changes ontop of the fact his portals go down incredibly fast and he can't replace them himself

Granted they added in two add-ons that eliminate the penalty but they didn't mention if they stack or not

  • Yeah there are multiple rooms with double pallets back to back along with multiple vaulting locations

They also increased the amount of stuff that can get in your way as a killer so it's very, very, easy for survivors to loop that area. Can't imagine running Spirit Fury on that map there are too many pallets for it to be effective

    Pallet Laboratory

  • I am absolutely estastic

Also did anyone else notice they FINALLY fixed the killer fov? I was just playing the Doctor to farm and I realized my weapon was no longer gigantic, my fov was pushed in more like I was using shadowborn and the screen seemed to be wider

  • Also I have no idea how to get my team to listen

  • Been spending most our lives, living in a try-hard's paradise

  • The CandyMan needs to be in the game because we need a Hook Killer

Totally not because I'm going to pretend he's a Pirate. That's totally not the reason

Why are you all looking at me like that?

  • Hoth Ice Caves

You know what is in there

The age of the survivors is over, the time of the Killers have begun

Wipe them out. All of them

  • You need to purchase Ghostface's shiny hood and knife from the Legacy collection

Only than will you become good at Ghostface

  • Yeah it's extremely hard to pip with Bubba, Plague, Ghostface, and other killers that can one shot down. Because if you use their main ability your actually losing potential BP and emblem points because of the way the system works. So if you play well and do good you could still end up De-pipping, barely making any BP, just because you played the killer the way they were supposed to be

In truth I do dislike the way the game has been set up for killers. If killers end the game fast they are punished so they have to somewhat baby sit the killers, taking care to not kill them too quickly, in order to maximize BP and Emblem points. Granted I generally don't mind this because I like to have a fun lobby

However the moment you run into a lobby of survivors that don't care at all and just rush through those gens, it doesn't matter if you got 2k because you are still going to depip and barely make any BP. That's when you realize how broken the system is

  • I don't understand Yamaoka mazes lol

  • We need Harlod from Scary Stories!

    Untitled Image

  • Decisive should be 50 seconds long to counteract survivors using it to aggressively bum rush hooks or be a get out of jail free card at the EGC

DS is incredibly healthy for the game as it's intended purpose as an anti-tunnel tool. But good grief 60 seconds of invulnerability from hooks

  • I'd only choose Pennywise if it was the Tim Curry one and fully voice acted by him

Otherwise I'm fine sticking with Stranger things because all I want to see for new killers is that they be monsters and the Demo is a proper monster

  • Ah Bricky. I remember watching his videos along with Tru3 when I was first starting out way back in October

Of course looking back on them I find a ton of the stuff he says to be nearly completely wrong, but I'm quite happy he's making more of them, perhaps more new players will end up seeing them and using them as a stepping stone

"Clown is the best DLC in the game" That comment in the clown video is so beautifully wrong
