Oni, oh my high heavens Oni, if I ever saw him full charging at me like he does in game, I wouldn't run at all, I'd actually just "trip and fall" right in front of him

That and unless the killer is running rancor, there is hardly any negative to being the obsession. Hell it can be a positive sometimes. If the killer is using Dying Light or STBFL they are more likely to leave the obsession alone. Unless they have an alt attack that doesn't cause you to lose stacks like Demo's shread or Pig's dash.
I honestly might have to stop running Save The Best bc if I run into a swf the perk is out of the question. The ONLY counter to OoO is tunneling, then they'll just have DS, and if you play PERFECTLY, you spend about 5 minutes focused on one person, you need a killer with very high mobility to even stand a chance. Freddy, Nurse, Spirit, Oni, Billy and Hag are the only ones who have the mobility to keep up. Ghostface and Wraith having access to Undetectable half the time is the only time OoO is hindered, otherwise the perk works wonders for just staring at the killer

I'm just waiting for Thrill+Undying+Devour+Haunted
Although I'm not sure what happens if Haunted Grounds is cleansed with Undying if all Totems are Hex Totems. Does HG get popped, the other totem becomes dull, and Undying repopulates HG on that single dull? Or does HG get popped, Undying doesn't see a dull Totem yet, and it fizzles.
Haunted Grounds gets reset I believe, I watched a video and I remember seeing it pop 3 times

I mean, this kind of thing was possible by also using Thrill of the hunt, as that actually gives you a noise notification
I just wish exposed worked with his power though
Yea, do you think Thrill and Undying is pushing it? Or does Devour's value alone make up for that

Splitting up and not healing is what most really good survivors do anyway. I do agree hes underrated but hes not great against high tier survivors
I know that, but I just feel like the community focuses too much on the best red rank survivors and ignores the general red rank population, which in turn makes everybody just degrade Legion, doesn't hurt me I could care less but I feel like there's more to him than people think

Legion main here, he's a feel bad killer. You're not counterplaying Legion, you just have to wait for him to hit you with frenzy and then you have to sit still and mend every single time. If you heal you're wasting time and if you don't you're one shot always.
Feel bad
If I Legion spams Frenzy they're obviously not playing right, if survivors learn to split up and sprint to pause mend then mend after, they'll make the Legion look like a fool for spamming so much

Legion might have the crown of most underrated killer in the game, unless you take add-ons into the mix (then Doc wins). That's not to say they're one of the top killers, just that they aren't that bad. They can get pallets dropped very quickly, their Deep Wounds is an okay slowdown (often better than Pig), and they really can force... Uncomfortable situations.
Made a response to this and editied it due to a spelling error, don't know where the comment went, apparently being approved so idk, but I basically said Doc's addons change Shock Therapy completely sometimes allowing for things like sniper/hex doc, and Legion's addons just help him out with either intel or chase potential, they don't have to be A or S tier, I just want them to be fun and viable is all

I feel the issue with Legion is people having a placebo when they play as him, and just a general misunderstanding at some points. It takes a while to start learning your own tricks with him, but when you learn some stuff that can work out for you, you can really begin a snowball, especially with all survivors injured. I don't want Legion to be some A tier or S tier killer, same as Doc bc everybody has their own views on killers based on how well they do as them. But Doc's add ons definitely make him a force to be reckoned with in chase, hell his add ons allow him to basically rework shock therapy like sniper doc builds. Basekit Legion can be enough to get by, but basekit doc is something you really gotta master before it's effective

It is very good when it uses its power without moderation. But on big maps like the Spirit...
Otherwise on the whole his addons are cool, his power is great, his desing is amazing (Susie), he is fast and very boring to face!
I agree he is pretty boring to face, but playing as him is extremely fun, plus I'd rather go against him than Spirit or Bubba, the most boring killers you can go against in my opinion. Cold Dirt And Joey's Mixtape makes him a lot stronger in chase too, since after he hits you he can be right back on you again. Iridescent Button is underrated and Fuming tape is ok, but his other add ons are way better.

Yup.
But mind games are too much work for some people. When they play a killer (like legion) and actually have to put in some amount of effort in they just panic and conclude that the killer is bad.
It’s really sad, and I’m seeing it happen with The Blight too.
Legion gets degraded for the fact that his power benifits nothing in chase, and perks for chase are required, when all you really need is Enduring on him and he's great. Yea Enduring is good on all killers, but Legion benifits massively because he gets to eat pallets to get rid of them and cancel his power if he's in it, Enduring on Legion is value city
Blight gets degraded because he's new, still being learned and gauged for what he can do, but since it's a meta community they only want the best of the best, so they're not happy with Blight. Not every killer is gonna be A tier guys, chill out, play for some fun, hell I've managed to make Legion look A tier sometimes, it's all a matter of what YOU can do, not the character, make use with what you got.

@BattleCast said:
People have to actually try to get M1’s on him and according to some people on the forums that’s literally impossible.
Legion is not low-tier. I’d say he’s somewhere in the middle.
Yea, if you mindgame at like a pallet and you do a pre lunge to connect it right at the pallet, you can get the hit. Legion's chase potential thrives off of your mindgames, that's what M1's are after all, either mindgames or guranteed
-

There is a lot of History when it comes to Players and the Legion. Some people just can't get over it.
Also, Legion is low-mid tier at best imo. I can't see any way that they could be placed higher than this.
He can be in like the lowest high tier with a good build that works for you, but he's a pretty good mid tier, at least to me

He is underrated (as well as clown) but also hated to play against, as well as the frustration of not being able to down with your power, not being able to miss with it & only being able to exit with a stun probably make him feel weaker.
...He is still weak compared to other killers, but like any killer, he can be effective when practiced
That I can agree on, but he's at least a good intel killer, so at least he's good at what he does, like Clown at anti looping until survivors started pre dropping
-
I like BBQ but I personally think Thrilling Tremors is better, but the BP bonus is very nice, so I gravitate to it when I'm low on bp, otherwise, Thrilling's my favorite post-down/post-hook tracking perk
-
Legion's Killer Instinct in Frenzy is tied to his Terror Radius, a good way to get killer instinct ping is going to the middle of the map then going to a side. Legion suffers horribly on big maps like Red Forest and Yamaoka's, so your best bet is to pray they're packed together, which they're likely not, big maps are just bad for killer in general, Legion just happens to be a worse case
-
Can't wait to play Blight and feel like this dude
-
Alert, Lithe, Quick And Quiet and Adrenaline is what I run personally, seems to work well for me
Lithe an Q&Q is a really good mindgame if both are ready, bc the first or 2nd time the killer will fall for it and not think you vaulted, then if they start trying to mindgame on it back you can just fake the vault, Adrenaline for the endgame health state and speed boost and Alert for Killer & Pallet info

I'm so fed up with this combot, more the loops...😕
Legion is good for that, because if he hits he catches up endurance.
I actually use Enduring on Legion for quick power cancels and post-ds chase catch up, it's an extremely good perk that honestly can make Legion extremely powerful in chase, because he can be right back on you again, only counter to it is just leaving loop or camping the loop after he enters fatigue, but then again if they do that you can just hit them if they don't have Deep Wound and pressure the others
-

DS and cabinets are also unavoidable.
Even though they don't have a DS, they pretend to be and enter the cabinet.
Maybe they should add it so if they have DS active and they hop in a cabinet, the DS skill check is way smaller or just shuts off DS for the time being
-
I honestly agree with you. You know how Joey from The Legion has a karambit? In Frenzy he slashes with the wrong side, no wonder he can't down anybody in frenzy he swings with the wrong side of the damn blade. Legendaries are extremely disappointing, if they wanted to make money from cosmetics, they should make them more enticing. Myers slashing with a pipe and screwdriver, Legion holding a knife wrong, just makes it much less cooler if they look like just reskins and nothing else, if I wanna spend money on pixels, they gotta have something to them.

@GoodBoyKaru said:
There is counter to this, which is literally to just eat the DS early or waste an Unbreakable early. That's it.
Personally, I think both perks are fine on their own, and if you chase another survivor after an unhook they're not an issue, but if they added in anti-synergy to these perks (for example, "While Decisive Strike is active, you cannot recover by yourself past 80% progress by any means.") I wouldn't complain at all.
Yea, DS Unbreakable is just literally "I either make you chase for another minute, or I get back up", it's just unfun and sometimes just defeating when they all use it. DS also needs a slight rework, so that the timer is like 30 or 40 secs but doesn't go down in chase or while slugged.

@RWIUHF said:
If the survivors are potato and you can down them before they even touch a gen then yes you can eat it early but when you chase a survivor longer than 40 seconds you can't tunnel because gens are about to pop and if you tunneled you gonna lose precious time
Guess i shoulda put more context to that part, only if you know where survivors are, and if you're ok with those generators popping, or if they're OoO

Just now had a game as the Oni. The crossplay Survivors (1 Claud and 1 Nea) t-bagged at the Exit gate, and I didn't even tunnel or camp. Why are people like this? What the hell? I confess that I, as a Survivor, only click my flashlight or t-bag at the gate when the Killer really pissed me off during the match, but I didn't do any of those as a Killer, so why am I rewarded poorly by Survivors who managed to escape? This game can be confusing sometime. At least I have a reason to t-bag and click my flashlight, but they didn't.
Usually them doing that is them communicating that they'll give you a free hit, know how survivors end game farm sometimes at the gate? It's that, their way of showing that to you

I'm not sure how legal it would be for me to do (and say) this but: I think I can call myself a "nice Killer"? Yesterday I saw a Claudette get stuck in the hill bug, and instead of devouring her and using it to my advantage, I freed her and gave her another chance. After that, in the same match, the last guy was struggling against me, and he almost had the Exit opened, I suddenly had this feeling in me. I felt bad for the guy so much that I let him escape in the nick of time. After the match, I got praise for being a good Killer, and I felt really good about myself. I know I had all the opportunities to have a 4k and stuff, but those guys weren't playing toxic at all. We need more players like them.
I'm only a nice killer if I have a big reason to be nice, like one time 2 guys suicided first hook so I shepherded the last 2 to gens and gates. Sometimes when i'm nice I still get the "gg ez" "baby killer" "tunneler" so I tend to just get my 4k while in the game, then I'm nice post game
-
I think the problem with Michael is his mobility. If he stalks he moves at a snails pace, it feels like 5-10% movement speed. Him just trying to tier up costs so much time and distance that his insta-down in EW3 is all he has, besides low terror radius. I feel like if they buffed Michael's stalking movement speed, I'd be fine, maybe like 50% or 60% movement speed would be fine, how slow he moves is just too slow, at least Ghostface can hide himself while he stalks, Myers is some super tall guy with a white mask, not really subtle for stealth stalks
-
As a killer main myself I honestly feel bad for some of the survivors I face off against. I'll play Legion and they'll heal and a dude can have me on a 1 minute chase with 3 others unpressured, they all heal and barely work on the gen. I'll play Pyramid Head and they are way too afraid of torment causing time loss in dire situations. For God Sakes I play BASEMENT TRAPPER and they don't think to never step on the grass or take the window or just leave that person to die bc shack is a Saw Trap. I feel bad when a genuinely good survivor gets with a bunch of meatheads and gives me an easy 4k, but I usually work on trying to kill the good survivor bc I know if I do that, I win already, but hey, matchmaking is never gonna be perfect, neither will PvP game balance, we just gotta live with this stuff unfortunately
-
I only leave lobbies if i wanna do something else or if I see a Haddonfield Offering with a map and key, otherwise, I usually tend to stay until I get angry or the match ends

I've actually had a lot of survivors tell me that I saved them mid-chase and it's a really good perk whilst a lot of killers think I'm memeing.
I'm not saying it's useless, it's just a tad situational, but if it can work it works pretty good, just a bit of a waste for an exhaustion perk, but hey, use what you want, if you can make it work go for it

His power isn't really slow if you're good at him, they don't let you set trails because Torment is very powerful if used correctly, cages can be used to make survivors split up with one of 2 at those locations injured if used after a hook or it can make them go to a complete dead side of the map with nothing to do there, you can quick mori a death hook survivor, and torment's infliction itself literally shows you a survivor's location, and where they are going. You can't set trenches at objectives or hooks so that survivors can actually navigate outside of chase if they pay attention. Trenches are not map control, they are used later on for help in chase or to find someone who isn't paying attention, in jungle gyms it can turn into I'm All Ears, which can be comboed into his power, if you're good you'll get a free hit just like that. Pyramid is fine as he is, he doesn't need trenches at objectives to perform well if you know what you're doing.
-
People rechanting the same thing. As someone who thinks DS does need a rework, same with some other things in the game, the devs PROBABLY get the idea from the youtube videos with like 75k+ views, they probably saw it guys, your mating call of whines that get 10 views on here and everyone agreeing will not make them do it faster, let the devs have a minute to work on this goddamn chapter then we can let them know. I don't need to hear about how Noed is broken when you have all the ######### on the survivor side that's broken, hell, this game is literally a battle between broken ######### that can happen. Just shut the hell up and go whine in post game chat to the dude that used it so he can get his satisfaction, and you get it off your system. Noed is so rare it's barely a problem, Ebony moris aren't used as often as survivors say it is, keys aren't that common tbh, they ARE problems, but not things like the hill glitch where if it happens in like a chase, that is literally someone who CANNOT do a thing. Let them fix the actual bugs before they fix these Ray Gun rolls of chance that show up in the game to begin with. Finally somewhere I can get that off my chest
-
A Deathclaw could be really interesting to add
-
Killer Perk:
Tone Deaf
Your presence bends at your own will
You become obsessed with one survivor
Your obsession hears a constant distant terror radius when outside of your own, when they enter your terror radius, they do not hear it anymore, the only time they truly hear your own terror radius is in a chase, however the distance to begin chase is increased to 20/18/16 meters. If your obsession is switched to another survivor, Tone Deaf goes on a 60 second cooldown.

I've said it over and over. Rank means nothing. Bit if you're one of the people who believes in it, you're where you belong. Supposedly. If you have tough game over and over against red ranks, while in red rank, perhaps you're not REALLY supposed to be in red rank.
