I've ran into this situation before, they use the lockers paired with the flashlights and the moment you grab one out, the other will jump out of the locker, blind, stun then repeated the process. Literally unhookable.

Exactly and if you pick someone from the ground others will leave a locker to stun save them.

i suggest you try a little harder....and quit blaming your lack of skill on others

I'm good enough I reached rank 1 multiple times both in killer and survivor + high mmr way better than you trash

what a joke........i play high mmr survivor....and i dont see killers over and over again with amazing skills. i watch twitch streamers, and dont see anything of the sort. i think you are just looking for ez mode and dont want to take the time to master your skill. i think the problem isnt the swf youa re playing. i thinkt he problem is you

    What.

you must be under the assumption every match you go in is against a god tier swf. and its just not true

It is in high mmr tho

all excuses. things that are easily overcome by simply getting better at the game. kilers have over oppresive perks that survivors deal with every match now. so not sure why you are talking about dh and coh...its so over infested on this board that those perks are just NOT beatable. and yet for some reason im watching people do it all the time. they just arent on here bragging about how the things people here cant overcome arent really a thing

Survivors are literally using only 4 perks every match try playing killer more and watch how fast gens are done it's not about getting better I watch good killer mains on twitch and youtube that main huntress and nurse or blight and they play different killers these players spent around 7000hour+ and they can't win in this meta at all a lot of 4 escapes every match because even if you're a god at this game survivors can easily win no matter how good you're because it's not balanced don't deny that.

  • Sadly killers too want higher ranks and to pip but gen rushing / DH / COH are too brutal sadly the game is too survivor sided that it causes most of killers to play dirty. Everyone is expecting 4 survivors to tbag and act in a toxic way if all of them manage to escape so some killers will make sure to do anything to prevent that and regarding how the meta is survivor sided the best strategy is to tunnel 1 survivor out of the game so you can have a chance against 3.

  • I play 3 hours a day too lol everyday since the 13th but I only reached gold 4 so far I hope I have enough time to get rank 1 because even If I I'm doing good in a match I often get 0 pip.

  • It's shocking how 80% of swf I go against are toxic it's true the game gives them too much of an advantage to win and to be mean to you sadly it's always 1 doing gens 24/7 and 3 keeping you busy and if you dare to pick someone you finally down they will flash light blind you and sabotage / body block hooks it doesn't work in solo q as effectively but while using comms it's just too overpowered. Flashlights are the most op item used by swf keys are useless..

  • Had a speed cheater he tried to be subtle but he miss clicked and ran faster than he intended to I couldn't catch him all game so I downed him and kept trying to tell survivors he is cheating I didn't hit anyone of them but they knew and instead they kept helping him unhooks and healing so I left them to do gens and wanted to tell them to report him post game chat but everyone left quickly it sucks but going afk is a good option to punish hackers and deny them their fun. But as a survivor try to body block pallets for the cheater and team up to help the killer if possible he'll let you escape if you helped against the hacker.

    Again.

Bringing perks isn't "bullying". They are bringing perks that are part of the game.

Just because they choose to play in a inefficient way does not make it bullying. How else do you suggest that they use these perks? On chance that you will walk by the locker? I don't get it.

Everybody knows (as they have already pointed it out to you) that Head On isn't even a strong perk. Meaning that if they are going for stuns, they were most likely going for a challenge.

I played the game against them I saw how they acted and played and I explained it but you're still giving them excuses ? I even linked a video on the main post. They didn't bring head on to casually stun me in chases or In certain chases to use that in winning no they wanted to make me a clown for their amusement with flashlights and clicks to trigger me , have you ever seen a 4 head on team ? It's useless in solo q but when used by a swf that voice chats they can stun lock you in 1 area if you try to pick someone or chase or do anything.. As the game started I had no idea they got me few times with it and some saves then I knew everyone had the perk and I played accordingly and everyone wearing colorful clothes and wig neas and they chased me to click click and drag me into 4 locker locations so I had to m1 them whenever I get near a locker I'd get stunned but luckily I was playing huntress so I downed people from a long distance avoiding lockers but they abused the recover from dying state boon with soul guards and they body blocked and sabotaged hooks and whoever they did that they'd click and tbag and shake heads so you're telling me all of this is just playing the game and it's totally fine to ruin my night ?

And their sole purpose leads them to their inevitable demise. And as said, wait until you face survivors whose sole purpose is to win, then I'll gladly hear you about your feelings.

The "survivors with sole purpose to win " are doing gens saving hooked team mates and playing the game but these bully squads their only purpose is to give you a bad time their only purpose is to bully you which is better to play against ? You want to be constantly stunned with flashlights and head on ? And that 1 boon they kept re blessing it over and over and over and over so they keep recovering from dying state you will eventually win after they have enough fun bullying you. Luckily I was playing huntress and countered their play style and saves with accurate hatchets and nurses calling was the goat in keeping them from healing ect with a different killer and perks I'd have much harder time.

The problem is that 4 player groups will load Into the game daily and decide hey let's bring the most toxic builds to drive killers into insanity and that's their fun for the day different bullying builds infinite saves and heals and loops that's not fun to go against it's okay if survivors complain about tunneling but it's fine to bully killers like 4 people communicating to make you miserable and ruin your night.

Dude I'm high mmr I play against those gen rushing squads every match who said I never did ? Most of my matches are sweaty.

  • @Johnny_XMan said:

So bringing perks is “bullying” now?

You didn't see that it's a 4 people squad they kept trying to bully me with lockers but I've already seen videos and knew how to counter it ... These are not survivors using head on to escape a chase ect their main goal is to constantly stun you check YouTube video and how they bully killers.

  • @Bwsted said:

if it wasn't for these sweaty bully squads

Head on is literally the opposite of sweating. This is a bunch of people just messing around instead of trying to win.

Wait until you face optimal survivors who aren't trying to interact with you at all and then tell us how you'll feel.

    Too much drama about nothing.

Their sole purpose is to bully killers into infinite loops of locker stuns... Seen videos it worked on tons of people

You love/hate to see it. I've had players still macro clicking me when I'm on 7 or 8 hooks with 3 or 4 gens left, and no chase has lasted longer than 15-20 seconds. It's like, do you not see what is happening here? You gonna stick with that?

Probably the types that go GG EZ after getting wrecked, too. It's dedication to the bit, I guess.

The best moments when someone does the click click or tbag and gets downed one second later. I agree even if you're winning they're still being toxic no matter what. I had a game tonight where a survivor had the option to leave through the exit game but he did run from the opened gate to one of the jungle gyms nearby just to loop me and extend the toxicity even more but I downed him near the escape frame and carried him he nearly managed to escape but as soon as I did carry him he disconnected... Won't even mention post game chat it was aweful.

  • @Waterfall said:

Meanwhile BHVR busy at work with a facecamping fix and people wonder why it’s so prevalent priorities I guess.

Yeah I just wanted to chill and play but Saturday night is the worst night when it comes to killer because every match I loaded into was some sort of swf with flashlights I tried to exit those lobbies but ended up going against this one I faced a much much worst squad that this sadly they sabotaged every hook and body blocked every door and hook so I can't finish a kill we need some sort of update to prevent survivors from body blocking hooks it's too much and all these elements are the reason killers tunnel and face camp because the game rewards bully squads so they can buy more cosmetics.

  • @MikaleaWantsYourBoon your name is definitely the most hilarious and unique one I've seen.

  • If you gain Bloodlust but you still can catch up to someone and they always seem the same distance away from you they're cheating and you can tell if you can easily catch up to the other 3 survivors but you can't for one of them. I seen too many subtle speed hacks but wallhacks you can't tell easily sadly and finally auto dead hard cheaters they never miss it and as soon as you want to hit them it triggers if someone keeps doing prefect on hit dead hard all match long it's a cheat mostly

  • @Thusly_Boned said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2869186#Comment_2869186

The odds of seeing four head ons and 2 flashlights in the same group and them not being a bully squad is pretty damned low

My favorite is when you get a group all hopped up on Ayrun videos and trying to bully, except they suck at it and you stomp them

    Yeah that's exactly what happened.

  • 4 head on ? come on no team is going to use 4 of these if they didn't want to bully you. They did bait me into lockers trying to mimic some YouTube videos but it wasn't successful, they did the usual clicky clicky and tbags as much as they could to throw me off.

  • As long as the game is survivor sided and gens are getting rushed in few minutes / broken survivor perks like COH and DH + toxic survivors with friends , killers will keep doing whatever it takes to get 1 player out of the game so they can have a chance at least vs 3 players and even then it's tough.

  • Yamaoka estate is torture when playing killer

  • Dead Hard any day any time

  • If you miss a shot you're ######### basically survivor is already 10km away from you , his aim is too slow and leaves a huge window for survivors to react plus he can't do nothing across a pallet needs to break it first but huntress and trickster can his kit wastes a lot of time because of the animations plus his slow speed and massive terror radius.

  • Any killer that doesn't have a 4.6 speed is fun to go against

  • @Kurri said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2868725#Comment_2868725

Not a very good assumption. No it does not go to a vote, like a lot of games that don't have a vote option when you surrender.

You surrender, the game immediately ends, and you lose some points. Move on.

So you're saying a killer can just troll after waiting forever to find a match and to load in killer will just decide to surrender as they wish ? that's not fair and doesn't make sense as a feature it needs more like you can only surrender after 4 gens are done or 2 survivors left so they don't hold the game hostage or similar situation but even then it's still not okay if survivors are winning and every game only lasts 50% because killers will keep leaving by using surrender.

  • @Kurri said:

Killers should get a surrender button. There is no excuse to allowing bullying.

Assuming survivors need to accept the surrender option like other game , bully squads will never do that

  • I hope we get dead hard and coh nerf

But that was the whole argument about having a separated skill rating for every killer. That people could pick up new killers and play against "easier" players instead of facing red ranks.

But seems it works in a middle way that you don't get matched against the elite bully squads you usually get but instead you gonna face decent players that will destroy you anyway because you're trying to learn a new killer so it didn't change anything.

I think at the higher levels, they are harder to obtain but I would have thought 3k definitely warrants progress as that is your main goal. Surviour progress seems to be more altruism based, which is why people are often farmed from hooks, unfortunately. I really hope some adjustments are made soon for boths sides as its a very inconsistent and confusing system!

From my experience and time played looks like the killer emblem system wants you to run across the gens over and over and over hooking people which is too difficult in the current meta that sort of play style keeping gens from finishing can't be done and results in 4 escapes usually it's random for me I just play the best I can and pray for that +1 even if I preform well + long games I get the 0 pips a lot I hope it gets optimized more soon.

Yeah, let me get stomped for 30 games so my MMR can be at a level where I can start to learn the Killer.

I gave up on Blight just because of that my MMR is too high playing other killers so I'm facing survivors that can dodge blight easily and especially since he is difficult to play ( harder than nurse for me ) I just gave up not worth the stress) I hope they introduce a mode vs AI players so we can practice killers as an alternative.

A really good scratched mirror Myers is probably the closest thing to truly scary this game gets. Sadako (properly executed) is up there, but going against a really good SM Myers puts the anxiety in you.

The stealth killers are really the most fun to face, imo.

Yeah Myers is the scariest so far especially mirror myers on RPD or Midwich but Ghost face is more like annoying than scary , Wraith is not scary even with silent addons sadako has potential to be more scary without the lullaby.

  • The game mechanics are very limited for killers which allows survivors to be mean and bully killers which isn't supposed to happen (people will run away from killers and ghosts and monsters ) they can spam tbags and flashlight clicks and gestures plus all the body blocking . Bully squads are a thing they don't care about playing the game their sole fun is to bully and make fun of a killer and the ability to play with 3 other friends is one of the reasons . But you can do a payback if they're toxic to you just tunnel and face camp hooks and you can dodge lobbies when you see 4 players pop in instantly or more than 2 survivors with flashlights or similar clothes these are red flags .

  • The ring scared the ######## out of me when I was a kid I used to think about it a lot and the rewatches made it worst but horror doesn't scare me as much as back then . I was excited for Sadako and she looked creepy my first match against her I was waiting to get jump scared and that it's terrifying but not at all this game is not scary at all I even played casually against her for fun I'd sit next to her tv's and wait for her to come out lol or if she's chasing me she looks smol and cute not terrifying at all she did appear out of no where many time but I didn't even blink I was like meh none of the killers is scary even stealth one I'd say the closest thing to scary for me is when you don't know it's a myers match and you stop him stalking you far away or somewhere you didn't notice .

Like What even is then this is only the second game I ever played with her and I had lost the first one already

Playing a new killer doesn't mean you're new to the game and it means you know how to play killer so you will be matched against decent players because matching you with new players is unfair for them

  • -Underground dungeons of some sort like Egypt/Inca/Mayan/Aztec underground ruins

-Huge haunted manor but nothing like RPD

-Something related to sea and ships either a ghost ship area

-Radiation filled city or town something like Pripyat in Chernobyl

-Underground mines or a mine that has top and underground level

I can think about a lot of options but they won't make sense for DBD

  • The pip emblems system is weird I had a lot of good games with a 4k or 3k I did chase and kick a lot of gens and played correctly but I end up getting 0 pip which doesn't make any sense ..

That doesn't stop him in his games. He can just teleport right in.

He is definitely one of the killers I'd love to see in DBD but from what I've read his rights are complicated to get : In May 2016, the media rights to Slender Man were sold to production company Mythology Entertainment, but the company split up in 2019, leaving the ownership of the character's rights in question.

I thought also about his point of view since killers like ringu killer and blight and hag they had or currently have short point of view so the normal pov won't make sense because slenderman is tall and that high of pov will break the game so his pov mostly will be in his chest I don't know if there is a solution to that

  • He is too tall for doors in DBD

  • Aww how cute , give him couple of months before he comes back with walls of text ranting about perks and toxic players

  • I main huntress and nurse and a lot of games I did well with them but then suddenly the next day I'm a total potato that can't land no throws or blinks and everyone escapes and it feels crippling like what changed suddenly didn't I gain a lot of experience and muscle memory but it's all gone suddenly and I always feel like just giving up

  • @GoshJosh said:

Yeah, idle crows really need revisiting and changing. It’s ridiculous that a survivor can meander the tiniest bit and not gather them. They should be required to do 10+ seconds of consecutive repairs every three minutes to not get idle crows.

Yeah they keep moving a bit and looping in place to avoid them it's one of the worst experiences needed a pip to climb but then 2 survivors will play who disconnects first game with you ..

Coincidentally RedsGamingGears posted a 90 minute set of matches with Sadako on Youtube this morning where he specifically played with various tweaks of a loadout around heavy slugging. And it works pretty well! 🙂 (It’s on par with playing normally at least.) The key parts were

    • He used Sadako’s green add-on that makes it so if a survivors heals someone who has Condemned stacks the healer gains a stack.
    • Infectious Fright for information on a down. If he gets a scream he can chase that survivor, if not he has a good idea then where to project to find someone else.
    • Jolt to trigger explosions on downs. (Since he spends so little time carrying to hook he gets a lot more downs over and over to keep triggering this).
    • Bamboozle to block key windows on strong tiles in order to force survivors to drop pallets as soon as possible
    • And a fourth perk that is flexible

The strategy is simple - keep chasing and downing survivors over and over, projecting occasionally to give them new stacks of Condemned, so that the survivors are constantly busy doing anything other than the gens. If they don’t heal the dying survivors they just lose to a full slug, but by healing they continuously gain Condemned stacks and then quickly have to grab a tape to deal with that too. He picks one specific survivor at the start of the match which is the only survivor he actually carries to the hook while the others are healing, the rest he just keeps slugging and pressuring. Gen progress is extremely slow because of the massive map wide pressure he can exert with her, so eventually what happens is either he manages to finally three hook that one survivor or someone’s Condemned builds up to full and, because he’s never busy hooking anybody, he can then go immediately and try and down and kill them. And because of all the constant chases and lack of gen progress and Bamboozle all the loops lose their pallets eventually and the whole map is a big dead zone.

It’s a pretty interesting strategy, not just because it goes against the current grain of using Scourge Hooks, etc, but also because it’s one of the few viable ways to play that in fact does generate some Condemned kills even against survivors who are normally somewhat careful about that sort of thing.

    https://youtu.be/0oKevydvN_k

It's a very interesting way of playing her since her condemnation ability is weak I'll watch the video later but it only works because of her ability and it won't work for other killers that's the problem.

  • At least they should limit invites to only 1 per player so you play against duo teams 2+2 instead of 4 on comms but still even 2 is powerful the game should detect when it's a 4 players squad and give the killer a buff for that match either speed or higher gen repair time or something because you're right going against well organized 4 players on coms means you will lose unless they just troll and mess up a long the way , but if they play seriously you have no chance of winning because your location is passed between them all the time and they know when to work on gen sand when to save ect it's similar to a sound based wall hack and they can time everything easily.

The game from the look it was designed and optimized to be played by 4 randoms which gives the killer a chance.

  • @Barbarossa2020 said:

If only survs did the same things for newbie killers.

True when playing survivor and we face a new killer usually low rank and 1 perk you can clearly see they're clueless the survivors playing with me will just bully that killer and make fun him most of the time killers are way nicer than your average survivor player.

  • The problem is you're just slowing down the inevitable you slug 1 or 2 while you look for another one they will just quickly help the downed survivors and it's basically ping pong from there + unbreakable you only need 1 survivor with it to ruin your whole slug you will still get gen rushed to oblivion unless you slug with a nurse .

  • And this perk alone made every m1 killer that relies on injuring as a playstyle much weaker .

1 … 4 5 6 7 8 9
