The Long short of it. Survivors don't react well when there toys are taken away. It would lead to review bombing, and how you gonna stop me posts.
I mean, we have seen it over the past days how mature Killers react to changes with all the Legion Threads and claims for Refunds.
-
Nea and Hag. Even though I am playing a lot of Myers recently.
-
In the Devstream they also said that they will look into the Pig to see what they can do to keep/let her be viable.
Just FYI.
-
Killer drops the Survivor on the ground and the Survivor will be taken by the Entity.
-
Are you sure you want to bet? They already changed the Exit Gate Opening duration back to 20 seconds.
The Survivors tbagging at the Exit are not the problem. Besides that, the Timer was changed from 3 minutes to 2 minutes in the PTB (which is good)
-
Can you prove that they did nothing to Freddy until now?
-
You should not use the End Game Collapse to get Kills.
I am pretty sure that once they have enough Data, they will revert those Changes. Not that sure about the Pig Change, but 100% on Remember Me and Exit Gates. They just changed it right now to prevent potential problems, so the possibility is quite high that they revert it, when they see that it does not cause any problems.
-
Still anyone thinking that SWF with Comms never was intended? You cannot expect to play a Multiplayer Online Game without SWF and Comms... Really.
-
Probably We Will Make It, it is not that Meta, but I still love to heal others so quick. I could easily replace it with a Metaperk, but nah.
For Killer, I simply love the pure brutality by Spirit Fury (and Enduring). But I would say BBQ, it is not that useful on some Killers, but I cannot resist those Double BPs.

On their end, they are hitting you perfectly fine. With dedicated servers, killers wil get screwed, because now they are missing hits, that should have connected.
Nah, they are missing hits that should be missed in the first place.

Remove Adrenaline. NOED can completely be countered while Adrenaline can not. Remove Adrenaline and I'll gladly accept the removal of NOED. Fair trade to me.
You dont get my point. Your argument is stupid. I used the same logic as you.
-
I dont get why it is so hard to understand - the problem are not the Survivors teabagging at the Exit Gates. If that happens, hit them out. If you get annoyed by Teabagging - grow up.
It is to stop Survivors taking the game hostage by simply walking around (which is the minority, to be fair) and also to stop Survivors from searching for the Hatch the whole time for some extra points.
Besides that - if not all Gens are done, you lose... Remove NOED. If all Gens are done, you lost.
-
With all the ######### posted on the forum after the announcement of the Legion reworks, all the threads opened without even testing the new Legion, it is a brilliant idea to do the same with Freddy.
-
Well true, you are right. There were also hits where I was wondering how I was able to avoid that. What I described just happened yesterday so it was in my mind.
-
Both Killers and Survivors are whiny, salty crybabies who cannot get over losing in a videogame.
Use whatever you want, but dont expect people to like it.
-
The only change is that Killers cannot moonwalk anymore. Which, besides Legion, was not really used at all.
-
Then I played at least two times vs you. One time you were moonwalking me ( :( ) and the other time you let us farm because it was a 3man (and 2 BPS were burned, lol).
-
"end of story"... Tell that to the Hillbilly who yesterday chainsawed the Air next to me and still put me into the Dying State... with 40 ping. But yeah, its only Lag.
-
I think it is good that they made those changes. But more to a point that it is better to go safe now. I mean, I dont think that the Exit Gates or Remember Me were needed at all, but I can get behind the idea of changing it before it can get problematic. I would guess that once enough Data from the Live Server is available that those changes can and will be reverted.
For the Pig change, i see this more needed. Of course Pig is not a Top Tier Killer, but I also understand the point of having a Timer (maybe even combined with Blood Warden) and no way to exit through the Exit Gate because the Survivor has to search Jigsaw Boxes could be problematic. In the end, the End Game Collapse should not secure any Kills, it should help with taking the game hostage and Hatch Stand-Offs and this is solved.
-
I once played with a Survivor who is also on the Forum. That I know for sure.
Pretty sure I played with or against other people, but since the Forum Name does not have to equal the Steam Name, I dont know for sure. But it would be a weird to play like 1200hrs on DBD and not play with someone from the Forums.

They make the wall on the loops more narrow so survivors can't see the killer but the same time killer can't see survivors
This is clearly a Killer Buff and LONG needed. It makes Mindgames possible, Coldwind Maps are/were strong for a reason.
-
Yeah, probably that. I am just confused by the Title, because it is clearly not a Hatch Stand-Off and I expected a different video.
-
@Dustin said:
Since you cannot grab survivors jumping anymore does slamming the hatch shut cancel a jump or is it pretty much who ever interacts with the hatch first?
Probably the latter, but the Survivor was not able to interact with the Hatch, because the Killer was standing in it at first.
-
Given the fact that many Killers thought that the End Game Collapse will be a guaranteed 4K for them, this is a great bait.
-
And whats the problem here? The Survivor apparently is blind.
-
Well, but Legion travels further.
And the change of the Coldwind TIles (not seethrough) are not really Survivor sided (and were needed).
-
Spirit is better than Plague. I think everybody would agree to that.
But if you like the Plague, she is still good. So you are not picking a weak Killer at all with her.
-
Man, I hate it when the Killer kills me when I bring BPS. Please Killer, be nice, when someone brings BPS.
No? You would not do that? Strange...
-
I mean, at the point where a Survivor DCed, you are facing one person less. This is an advantage. So you want even more advantage by punishing the other Survivors for a dickmove from one person, where they cannot do anything about it?
And I am not talking about those guys who ragequit on their last hook, more about those who ragequit the second they are found first. So every other Survivor has to have a disadvantage, besides already having a disadvantage by playing a 3v1?
Also, dont forget, you still get DCed by the game, would be quite frustrating if this Bug is still in the game AND you punish people for a bug that is not fixed yet.
-
It is logical that BHVR wants to show the Cosmetics by themselves. Also good that they are doing it.
But I would not have labelled it as "Surprise" or anything like that. Expectations were much higher than a Cosmetic Reveal.

The FAQ they wrote on the announcement post said that everything else about how the Hatch spawn remains unchanged. The only thing that is changing is that the Hatch will always spawn and be open once there is one Survivor remaining.
Thx for that information.
The video indeed can be understand that the Hatch will only spawn when only one Survivor is left, meaning that there is no Hatch camping possible. So it will still be possible and Keys still make sense. I like that.

Its a 3 minute timer to tell you how long you have left to t-bag the killer at the gate... that's pretty much it, but hey, at least killers can close the hatch now.
The problem were not the Survivors teabagging at the gate (besides that, if you get triggered by that, you are as immature as the Teabaggers). You can simply hit them out.
The bigger problem were the Survivors stealthing around the map, either to simply take the game hostage (which was the minority, to be fair), or to find the Hatch for some Extra Points. Those were the Survivors the Killer does not really have a realistic chance to find, but those cannot stay there forever like they can right now.
-
Are you sure that he did not have BBQ? DId you wait until the end to check it?
And well... Could be a coincidence. Or you were in a spot where usually Survivors are hiding?
-
So Shirtless Myers confirmed?
EDIT: But I would guess that the Surprise is the announcement of a new licensed Killer.
EDIT 2: Watching Paulie Esthers Video, there are Michael and Laurie featured in the Store. So yeah, might be cosmetics.
-
You can go for Loops which are in favor for you as a Survivor. Those would be Coldwind-Loops (because seethrough) and Loops on Autohaven, because you can look over many of them. This will help a lot to waste some time of the Killer, he cannot mindgame you (even some try to moonwalk...) so you should be fine.
It is also good to remember strong Loops on the Maps. Three examples:
The Torment Creek Map with the Back Window on the big structure in the middle.
Myers House on Haddonfield
Ormond House
The first one is easy loopable three times, if you can combine it with another loop, it is maybe possible to loop more than 3 times.
For the other two, Balanced Landing is needed, you can basically turn those into Infinites.
With all 3 of them, even if you are not experienced in Looping, they should help you out. Chances are also quite high that the Killer will leave you, because he knows that you are in a good position and they dont want to chase you around something where they would most likely not be able to catch up to you.
-
Not DC, but killing on first Hook:
Playing Myers, stalking one guy on a Gen (2 guys in total on it, one on the other side, so I cannot see him). He did not move at all, so I got as much stalk as possible from him AND was able to grab him.
Killed himself immediatly on Hook. Yeah, you were a big help to your team.
-
I dont think that TWD will ever be in DBD. And if this happens, there will be only a Survivor.
But before Clementine gets implemtented, I would hope for Daryl or Negan as Survivors...
-
Uh, you are salty.
-
The Gen thing should not be a problem after some time. I mean, even new players can see them when they look up, the lights are pretty easy to spot.
Only maps were it is difficult to find Gens are Lerys and The Game. For Lerys they had flashing lights in one of the PTBs, but it did not make it to live because of Bugs. This would help a lot.
-
For people who cannot play Killer and rely on Legion to get easy Pips and BPs: 1
"Normal" Legion Mains: 4
In General it will be around 7 for me.
-
The problem currently is that you dont lose Pips when you DC and restart your game. So a (potential) Depip can be avoided by simply DCing and restarting the game. Basically players are more in favor of Ranking up currently.
This is the same for Killers and Survivors.
Of course this does not explain all DCs, but it is partly responsible for the current high number of DCs.
-
With the new (lower) Movement Speed and the longer duration, Legion is able to travel further with his ability. So both combined are not a Nerf.
-
Jumping off the Hook gives you 1500 points in Survival, yes. Only really useful with Delivarence tho and even then it is better to be off the Hook and healed.
A few actions also give BPs, like Mending, Snap Out and Wake Up, but only 100 or 200 BP per action. Wiggling free also gives you 500 BP, same for stunning the Killer with DS or Head On.
So yeah, other than the 5k points from Escaping, it is difficult to get Survival points. Therefore the cap of 8k per category should be removed so that 32k BP is the maximum. I mean, just work on 2 Gens with another person and you have Objectives Max I think, so everything else doing for that will not give you any points at all... While, when you escape, you have 3k Survival Points spare, most likely.
-
While sometimes Totems get cleansed very early, there are matches and Maps where it is hard to find the Totems. I mean, if you get the Game, you have very good Totem Spots. It would be a shame if Ruin would be gone in 90 seconds.
They are working on Totem Spots, lets see what happens there. Also Totems need to be more hidden in terms of their visual appearance. They look great, but you can see them so easily, especially when they are lit. They need to be much smaller.
-
They might remove the Tiers, at least during the past Patches they readjusted Perks so that they function the same on every Level, just with minor differences. Before that, only certain Perks were really good at Tier 1, like Adrenaline.
What would also be possible: Leveling Perks by playing. So you can get Tier 1 Lithe in the Bloodweb and Tier 2 and Tier 3 need to be unlocked by triggering Lithe X times. Maybe there can be one way of leveling up with "Endurance" which means that a certain action needs to be performed X times to level up and another way, where it is more skillful.

@White_Owl said:
110% movement speed is reserved for killer who can use their power to directly combat pallet looping. The Hillbilly can't, so giving him lower base speed would probably kill him.
If anything, I think his chainsaw hitbox should be made narrower, to bring it more in line with the animation and to add more counterplay to close-range chainsaws beside praying.
Hitboxes are a completely different story. Especially Chainsaws and Hatchets...
-
@NuclearBurrito Yeah, of course, but I only mentioned the Killers OP asked for. :)
-
Monitor and Abuse works on all Killers, like said before, regardless of their base Terror Radius. Except for Shape and Hag, all Killers have a 32m Terror Radius, making it 24 meters when out of chase and 40 meters when in chase.
Shape will have 0 TR when not in chase (used for a Fun Build with Scratched Mirror on Lerys), Hag will have 16m TR when not in Chase.
-
The only thing that should change for Survivors are the Categories. 32k BP max and no limit on each category. It always hurts me a little bit inside, when I have Objective Points (or any other) on Max and will not get any more points. And for Survival I will most likely not get any points besides those I get when I escape.
For Killer BPs, when the Killer is using BBQ he might get 47k BPs, but he only gets 23,5k for the Trial. The other 23,5k are because of BBQ. They do not have anything to do how well the player played (except that he got to hook 4 Survivors).
And well, of course BBQ does not only give Bonus BP, but gameplay-wise the Aura Reading of BBQ only helps a few Killers. E.g. you can run BBQ on Hag, but the Aura Reading will not really help you to win the game, for this another Perk would most likely be better.
-
While it is true that Billy is easy compared to the other Top Tier Killers (Nurse, Spirit), he is fine. A viable Killer does not need to be challenging to learn, it sucks to get chainsawed, but there are ways to avoid this like not getting caught in the open by a Billy or not trying to vault a Window when he is running his Chainsaw.
I would guess that he would be not trash and still okish with 110% Movement Speed, but there is no reason to nerf him tbh.
