hag and being looped dont go in the same asnwer also with agitation youll make it to the bassement most time anyway having one in the bassement with hag is already a lot of pressure and prety much gg, but u dont get hag dont worry most people dont. but comparing hag to those bunch of useless killers already says a lot about how much do u know about the game.
And you being in forum jail says a lot about how much you like to be wrong.

Still to unlock my Halloween stuff from the rift.

if u think hag cant apply pressure u never played killer bring agitation and play around the bassement with make your choice izi 4k every match in red ranks unless they have 2 flashlights but still you are suppossed to place traps around not only in front of the hooked survivor.
You just said 'play around the basement with hag to apply pressure' sometimes the basement is in the middle of nowhere, and her set up takes a long time to get a solid presence on the map. If you want traps around each hooked survivor how do you expect to have traps set up by each objective to be a basis of gen pressure?. Plus hag is pretty slow and can easily be looped if you use your traps for map presence. Also you have to be within a certain range to travel to your traps which defeats the purpose of them if you're too far away from them.

What are you talking about?
The point of reporting is to feel good about yourself for pointing out the bad people.
Also that people break the rules at all times so if you don't report it then there is no chance of justice being dishes out.

I think the doctor is a killer to have a grudge against women. Almost as if he likes to electrocute them to hear their screams. Whenever he's chasing a male survivor and spots a female survivor he tends to switch targets and makes them scream instead.
-
I'm thinking maybe the rifts premium pass is a way of sustaining monies whilst fixing the game and adding free content such as new game modes and even more game modes.
-
I mean I stopped playing for about 2 months and I'm still purple ranks now. I'm back for the final push of the rift.
-
There's a reason people play the more mobile killers with all the slow down perks. Anyone saying that all you need is to do better at applying gen pressure fails to understand the grasp of the issue.
The killer can only be a dangerous presence where he is. A clown/legion/Huntress/bubba/hag/trapper etc cannot be a threat to anyone who is quite a distance away unless they play really recklessly and trigger traps/fail skill checks themselves.
I swear some of the people who disagree have never played killer.
-
I still find it a little overpowered how doctor can revive downed survivors with his ability.
-
I would form an opinion of the rift challenges if I could find Lobbys within a reasonable time.
-
WE WANT A NEW GAME MODE FOR VARIETY.
Repairing gens got boring years ago.
-
Maybe they knew you were going to DC at some point in the future so they just gave you the punishment early. Kinda like minority report (I think, I haven't watched it yet)
-
Yet to try Oni out again on Xbox but this seems like a very good adjustment by the sounds of it.
-
I brought me here.
-
I was ranting about matchmaking earlier.
It's hard to stay loyal to a game which refuses to let you play. It's so frustrating.
-
I want Dwight's elf outfit. The only real Christmasy outfit there is other than santa clown which are extremely rare anyways.
-
I've played the Oni 'well' on Xbox but it's mainly down to Survivors making themselves open for a pounding and generally being off the pace.
I've had swamp maps in 85% of my Oni matches and steering alone is really bad because you cannot see where you are charging and the path the Survivor takes, if the Survivor changes direction you suffer from a cooldown and a charge up of your power again and by this time they're usually long gone.
Any result you get is dependent on how good/bad Survivors are.
-
I mean not doing well as a solo Survivor because you don't know what other survivors are doing shouldn't be a factor which determines how miserable you do as a team, it's a solo queue specific issue and it is a step towards total Survivor balance.
If you run bad perks and easily get to red ranks then you're probably just play really well or a lot. Kindred isn't op or anything it just fills in the missing information solo queue players would have when they play solo.

Hex: Witches Skin...how about Hex:Slurp. Because it randomly slurps up your perks on hit...no?

im sorry, but when did OP claim that?
the OP literally only complains about not receiving those cosmetics in a rude way.
they may have added that at some point in the comments, but i aint gonna read through all of these comments here just in case they may or may not have added something later on. if it would have been the point of the OP, they would have added it to said OP.
the only vibes i got from this post were "ugh how dare you not give me everything for free, stupid devs!", so i said they should be happy they even got free stuff at all instead of complaining.
im also not sitting underneath the christmas tree, unboxing my presents and then complain when i got all my wishes but one - that is the definition of rude behavior.
if they really lost their cosmetics, im sorry for them and i hope they get them back soon - yet they could also have said so in a much nicer way.
a simple "hey devs, i lost cosmetic X to a bug, when can i expect it to return?" would have been enough. i doubt anyone would have called them "rude" or "ungrateful" then.
It's kinda a broad statement across these kinds of threads. The person making them consistently get a lot of uncalled for abuse from pretty much 80% of people and the way some people talk here is kinda revolting.
In this thread in particular there is a couple of disrespectful comments being made and I'm just saying understand what you're talking about before scolding people creating new discussions.
-
1 person hooked, 3 on gens, first person to complete gen went for the save, after another 30 seconds we went from 5 gens to 2 gens.
-
Saying "we just gave you 14 free cosmetics, why aren't you happy?" belittles the original point made. The original post later claimed that they had unlocked the cosmetics in the event but they disappeared.
Just saying trying to suggest labels such as ungrateful and rude to the people making these posts is not helpful.
You can see users criticising the original post just because they are upset at the cosmetics they fairly unlocked not showing for them still.
However everyone is quick to attack the one making the post without even acknowledging their position in the argument. Literally if you can't be respectful to each other then whenever you make a post you too deserve to be talked to like an entitled idiot. Not because that's right but because some of you seem to only be able to communicate like that.
-
Plague basically has 2 really nice perks, corrupt intervention and infections fright. I can't remember the other one but these two perks can fit into a lot of builds.
Pig is always fun and she's due a few buffs, Freddy is a good choice but I recommend Pig the most or bubba, yes give bubba a spin he's hot.
-
I honestly think that the original post couldn't be further from the truth however the way the game is handled has issues.
Bugs are fixed too slowly and anything substantial which is causing a fix likely gets the band aid fix or ignored.
The design team who create the cosmetics bring in all sorts of resources and possibilities to make the game more immersive but they stuck to pumping out cosmetics.
The Devs go back on what they say too often and when they're silent to address the outrage of players I don't quite understand how they haven't figured out what stance to take when things go wrong so we're faced with silence.
The Devs do great work however I think they need to act upon that which the community wants fixing or adjusting.
It feels like the Devs really care but they just never have anywhere near enough resources to fix/address things which have been problems for a while.
-
He's really bad on console in his current state. Having said that if the map has a lot of straight corridors and few obstacles dotted around then he's actually ok.
His demon strike doesn't land if on the way it grazes an obstacle and is really frustrating. You get all sorts of stuns, disorientation and cooldowns which make him unfun to play as.
When you have to play as an M1 killer when his power is ready to get a better result you know there's a problem.
-
To be fair I sometimes camp anyone who thinks they're smart, cocky toxic Survivors just want you to leave them so they can continue being annoying.
Trying the Oni smash attacks on the hook is still experimenting with what hook defence capability he has.

They do NOT have better tools. They have a mouse and that's it. The keyboard sucks for movement and is only useful for MMOs or other games where you gotta have a crap ton of keys binded. I use to be a PC only player but it's just far more convenient to have a console.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/886536#Comment_886536
Yea it's strange they wouldn't have that. I wasn't even aware it wasn't there cause I never touch it unless it's an FPS.
PC have a far superior set up than Console in pretty much every way. Just plain facts, you buy a Xbox one and you get what an Xbox one gets you.
-
This chapter is fine, I have an issue with a couple of things but it's hardly the worst they've done.
I personally really like the reveal trailer replacing the original loadup screen, it was such a good chance we've all wanted.
I hear the game is more stable than before so that's a big deal too.
-
@LordEmrich said:
Stop posting stuff like this. You're making my argument that PC players are no better than us seem invalid. Screw a mouse!
Pc players are better because they have better tools to their disposal.
If Console players all went over to OC and they go used to how it worked then they would be better too, because of how much more polished and advanced everything is there.
Just like if a PC player played on Console they would have to get used to it before being at their best.
-
Surely to have a sensitivity setting comparable to what PC players have would benefit Console players.
It is my first game as him but it feels plainly obvious that the Oni is needlessly very tough to control.
I'll keep trying to see if there's something I'm not getting.
-
I mean the David king event cosmetic for me disappeared a while back and I just couldn't be bothered getting into a hassle to get it back.
I technically missed out because of a bug but I still see no reason why it shouldn't be rolled out to everyone everywhere. Saves the Devs from investigating case by case.

That sounds so good. Maybe instead of proximity it's just a base time. Like as soon as it's open you have 20 seconds to gtfo or it automatically closes
I chose to make it proximity because Survivors could be trapped outside of the exit gate and just leave. There would then be that risk of shutdown being a thing only when a Survivor at the exit gate decides to go back into the map to make a save or whatever. Endgame collapse will still continue when the gate closes

Okay yeah I agree. Idk if it should affect the endgame because we have a couple of perks for endgame already, unless you make its so every time you hook a survivor in basement you get a token, for every token you have the endgame collapse timer is reduced by 10 seconds. With max tokens possible before killing survivor is 11 meaning 110 seconds shorter for endgame collapse.
Wait until you hear my Shutdown perk suggestion.
Shutdown - 15 seconds after an exit gate is opened and there is no longer a Survivor in the gates proximity. The gate closes and must be reopened.
-
I think the thing that needs to be focused on is the basement hook incentive in return for a reward later on. Some cruel end game builds are always fun for both sides.
A possible 12 seconds blocking the exit gate, followed by remember me when you finally get to it, noed for the lethality and bloodwarden to top it off. Makes wake up more useful and doesn't automatically make the killer unstoppable, it just delays the instant opening of gates after the last gen.
-
Monstrous shrine - Gain a token for each basement hook you acquire. Each token represents 2 seconds where the entity will block off both exit gates once a survivor is within 24 meters of either exit gate. (Max tokens 4,5,6)
-
Respawning Survivors, 2 killers Vs 9 Survivors. Defend the 3 gens for 5 minutes.
Survivor race - racetracks set on your favourite maps. lithe Vaults, sprint burst boost spots and balanced landing drops to speed ahead. Throw pallets to sandbag other racers to slow them down, running into a pallet destroys it. Kinda like mario kart
-
I agree with the majority of these suggestions however I'm strongly disagreeing with the insideous suggestion because it makes a niche perk pretty much unusable in positions where it would form the basis of your killer strategy.
Perks like Buckle Up and overwhelming presence need reworks because they're way too worthless.

An alternative version of hell

The Oni would make a horny mug.

Just gonna say it. If you didn't enjoy nurse in the first place how can you comment saying "omg some people like the new nurse" like what about the people who liked the original nurse?
As someone who hates playing nurse because of her fatigue and reliance of accurate blinking I respect the fact that people really enjoy her both before and after the nerf.
Having said that the nerf completely went against the views of the vast majority of nurse players. Her basekit was completely fine and her add ons were the core issue with her being so strong.
The nurse players before the nerf were robbed of the nurse as one of the few strong killers. Clunkifying a killer with the blink recharge was in my opinion the wrong change and for someone who doesn't play nurse it's clear how poorly received it was.

Survivors: "Spirit is OP, needs nerf"
Killers: "Spirit is fine, just get good"
Devs: "We'll study the problem and see what we can do for both sides"
*Spirit gets changes
Killers: "Insta heals are OP"
Survivors: "Insta Heals are fine, just bring in Franklin's or get good"
Devs: "We'll study the problem and see what we can do for both sides"
*Insta heals gets changes
I don't see why:
Killers: "GF gets revealed really easily"
Survivors: "GF is really hard to reveal"
Won't lead to:
Devs: "We'll study the problem and see what we can do for both sides"
*GF gets changes
That logic is what leads to nerfs of killers who don't warrant one. Instead of saying something is too hard to do, opinions shouldn't be phrased to belittle the killer/Survivor role like "obvious bad killer wants buffing wahhh" or "crybaby survivor depends on this crutch".
Like all this complaining can lead to 3 things, connection stability which would fix the latency problem, nerf ghostface, or rework GhostFace so he doesn't get as much from stalking Survivors.

Comparing survivor opinion to killer opinion is what gets the Devs to change something and try to balance it... They try to listen to both sides... ALWAYS
Comparing Survivor 'problems' to the killer equivalent makes that particular thing go untouched and not looked at for a while.
-
Apparently it's tomorrow. Probably no official release date but it's 95% tomorrow.

@Carlosylu said:
It's funny how survivors complain about GF not being revealed and we GF users complain about GF being so easily revealed...
Comparing Survivor opinion to Killer opinion leads to nothing getting done and the problem being dismissed as nothing serious.
I play both and it seems more broken as Survivor because I've been in the same position myself. Playing as GhostFace he is fair, the stalks are genuine stalks on people I see at the exact time I see them. This leads me to believe it's just a latency issue which hopefully is working out ok for some people on dedicated servers, on Console it's still a pretty noticeable problem that makes GhostFace unfun to play against.
-
The basement is only a good time for killer if survivors decide to go near or into it. Killer being in basement with insideous provides him with no positive outcome other than the hope the other survivors will all do gens and escape.
The answer to the problem is to simply continue as you would and not waste time going for the save. Jump on a dangerous gen which denies the 3 gen while it's an easy one to get.
-
Maybe if the killer leaves, start the end game collapse but require the Survivors to open an exit and escape within a minute to survive. Any traps the killer set remain and the timer suffers no slowdown on injured.
-
Game modes and meta perks always used on players who play extremely serious.
