Adrenaline + dead hard + decisive strike + ignored hits on survivors going for the unhook (survivor invincibility for 2 seconds after the unhook. All these happening at once.
It recently happened playing as leatherface and instead of dealing damage to the two survivors who were unhooked and rescuing I hit the rescuer and it thought I hit an obstacle when I hit the unhooked Survivor. They all got up immediately by adrenaline and dead harder when I went after them, they couldn't be picked up because they saved decisive and then they body blocked me and tapped off the exit to open it.
That is the real difference in power of a swf and solo queue player. And why leatherface is really bad.
-
Huntresses new album has come out so that is why everyone is playing her.

He's that determined he's gonna ask his club to report you not once, but twice. That's some commitment and dedication.
-
The killer version of the dead hard adrenaline combo for survivors. You can't say one is crutch without acknowledging that the other ones are too.
Crutches are a risk to bring in because they only work in certain circumstances.

This is off topic but
Do you know how can I report a fog whisper?
I have a lot of proof of some of them being racist and throwing shade to other streamers.
Open a ticket.

Aim for the petals, beware of phototropism when using flashlight.

When/if he does return there'll be a lot of people wanting to get into his videos again. He should take off as much time as he needs. I can't imagine how stressful and challenging it is for him right now.

Devotion 4 Level 20
-
I think there is a duty of care for dbd themselves to look after it's players. But without knowing what is being done to stop these people using dbd as a platform to hate other players I cannot say that the systems they have work.
I know the devs always have the intention to do well but player safety should always be first and if someone is subject to threats or offensive language then I feel like a zero tolerance policy is needed and used as a public deterrent to discourage people from treating others like dirt.
It's just frustrating when tickets are made and then nothing ever changes. Over the years people seem to think being offensive, mean and going out their way to intimidate someone is Cool in dbd.
-
Remember don't use Names because this discussion will turn into a 'killer main vs survivor main' argument.
-
I just wonder if streamer privilege is a thing which exists or whether every player has the ability to be banned when saying whatever they like.
I know you're supposed to open a ticket but I just feel like that just ends with no response and these people just continue to breed hatred and division in the game.
Like the person I was watching stream had the response "So this other person is also a streamer ...WHATTT?!" After reading offensive comments in his post game Lobby.

I play on Xbox really no excuse to say he's hard.
I think if you demolish survivors a few games on console it's probably not due to onis strength it's down to potato survivors.
I also play Xbox and using his power is only really useful for movement. It's not that he's difficult to control, it's that you simply cannot have anywhere near the level of control which a Billy chainsaw gives.
He's not terrible but he's really frustrating to play on certain maps, plus he gets fat shamed on s lot of maps and his basic attacks often don't register at point blank range which is an issue.
You might play him well but while you're doing that you could be 5 times as lethal playing hillbilly.
-
As long as they add the stuff I demand then I'll let the game grow.
-
Spend them.
-
I won't be.
It's just the idea that for the people who design the game have the idea that 1 rift fragment is earnt pretty much every game so 10 games in 1 hour equals 1 level up for each hour spent playing.
That is different from the reality of playing the game with 40+ minute Lobbys and the constant DC's which affect the xp you receive.
The challenges help but they don't if you cannot find the time for 2/3/4 hours because of how buggy matchmaking is.

From my experience, they only dc when you camp the hook, if you play fair and not tunnel off the bat etc players usually just kill themselves off the hook, and seeing that you're using insidious instead of territorial, i can guess why the dc/ragequit
But the challenge means you have to get all 4 survivors sacrificed in the basement.
Survivors shouldn't be able to sabotage ANY attempt of this challenge whatsoever but they can and they do often.
Instead of the 'you were probably playing like a dirty tunneler/camper therefore you deserve it' is Survivor entitlement in a nutshell.
Disconnects should be treated as if the kill was made by the criteria of the challenge itself.
It is an extremely poorly thought out challenge along with the finish 4 gens with dark sense challenge. Makes me question whether the Devs actually play their own game.
You might have completed them yourself but you shouldn't have to pester people in your lobby to not finish gens so you can get your challenge done. It's mind boggling.
Survivors DC all the time for the most pathetic reasons. If anyone tries to deny that then you're deep in denial.

I do not take kindly to people who are easily offended and ruin things for other people.
Even though you just called out someone for being offensive when they made a joke about your comment. That's easily offended if you ask me. Especially how you replied multiple times too. But that doesn't really matter.
Stop preaching about being offended when you can't handle a joke not targeted at you in a derogatory way.

I think brightness and amount of fig should be randomised and altered by the fog offerings.

How to counter Mori
1. Get in box
2. Hide in box
3. Don't come out of box
4. Killer must pull you out of box
If killer pulls you out of box DC.
-
Who is demogorgan?
-
Also SCISSORMAN should come before anyone else because ... he's the bestest man's there is.
-
Maybe a FNAF map would be really interesting but I don't see how a killer would work. Plus we already have a Freddy.

My main complaint is the state of matchmaking for me. Unable to find matches and therefore unable to play to complete challenges to progress in the rift. I bought the premium pass and since reaching level 35 in the rift over a month ago I have only been put into about 5 matches for literally over 5 hours of searching. I cannot buy the next pass with the state of the games matchmaking. It's an embarrassment to have a timed limited event which you have to pay for to get all the rewards only for the games problems to make it impossible to complete.
-
Deadites
AND SCISSORMAN
-
Gen slow down perks shouldn't be relied on to keep gen repairs at bay. Truth is that these perks are required on order to have a chance against a half decent team. There is a gulf of imbalance between a team who are well set up and a casual bunch of survivors not playing seriously Vs the killer.
-
Honestly Ash as a character needs a complete rework. His perks are beyond trash and they literally went as bare as you can with his license. The only positive about him is that he has some voicelines but why so little in such a good Licence to pick up. Where is the cabin, and the Deadites, the perks are useless and it's such a shame. It doesn't do his character justice.

47-50, I'm not sure. I got all the serum and the hag hand so I'm fine.
I knew I was never going to make it to the end of the battlepass since there was no way to complete the archives with one role.
I also dislike predatory monetization systems like this as evidenced by the number of people who said "I just bought tiers to finish" in this thread alone.
Of course I won't be able to complete the next one so I won't buy it either. As long as people continue falling for it, it will continue to exist though.
I really am just biding my time until something else comes along or the game actually improves in it's various deficiencies.
*Cough cough Resident Evil Resistance Cough cough*
Not a lot of options in terms of games like dbd to play when we need a switch due to burnout.
-
When matchmaking is so broken for me in particular there's no wonder why in the last month I've gone from level 35 to barely level 40. I've sunk about 14 hours trying to find matches but I end up not caring because I only find them after a humongous time.
It says something when you can't even find matches to attempt the rift challenges.
-
Meh, I've seen Stranger Things.
-
Mine is Urban evasion, Left Behind, Spine Chill and Self care.

I’ve been rank 3 with her but stopped playing her now I got some really good headphones and I’m just wondering what’s changed? I’m rank 5 and got there with trapper but I’m tired of trying hard so is she still worth using ? (I play on ps4)
She's in good spirit. She's not as strong but she doesn't let that get her down.
-
Matchmaking times just vary. PS4 is supposed to be way worse than Xbox but Xbox can be pretty bad sometimes.
Loading times are horrendously long on Console. Pc can take 30 seconds to load into a match or less however Xbox would take around 2 minutes minimum.
-
I found a match only to be tunneled AND facecamped by Freddo himself. Oh how I hate him.
-
Console btw (Xbox Masterrace)
-
Mori spamming doesn't seem that common to me. It should force you to Mori that person if you select them twice.
Also if the person playing killer gets a buzz from making the survivor player frustrated then they have to be a pretty sad person anyway. Just don't sink to their level. They feed of attention so it's often best to just carry on as usual.
-
I think remaining still while in the downed state should reduce your cries of pain. And crawling should bleed you out a little quicker to give slugged players a quicker end. Maybe tenacity should then have a passive effect of bleeding you out more slowly too.
-
Heheheheh 😈
-
I just wonder if they're gonna stick to those eye charms for each tome level.
Maybe Instead of eye charms we'll get something shiny. That would be cool.
-
What's that, never heard of that suggestion before. Probably OP skip that one.
-
Get chased by the killer and drop 15 pallets. Killers tunneling someone else who's dropping the pallets first and I don't want to use them up so early on.
-
A naked one
-
Dbd on Console hardly even works with controller let alone mouse. Well ok then it works but at such a low sensitivity.
-
Destroy 3 hag traps in a single Match with the flashlight I wouldn't mind.
Give incentive to play some different killers and make it so you can select more than one at once just so you're not going from game to game waiting for a hag.
Vault the same window twice and escape from the killer in a chase 5 times.
Using prove thyself finish a generator with at least 2 other people 5 times.
Survive 3 trails using no perks
Survive for a total of 10 minutes with only no mither.

I made a poll.

Or you can search 'Will you buy the next rift pass?' and it'll appear.
Everyone vote

No chance of me buying it. Too many issues and it interferes with how grindy the rift will be and it'll already really grindy.

Or, instead of calling me a liar, you could get better at the game to maximize your XP gains. You get next to nothing by being a Blendette gen jockey. You gain SIGNIFICANTLY more XP from boldness and chases. Get rid of Urban Evasion, replace it for something else.
Actually I'm pretty sure rift xp is based on the time spent in each trail. The longer you survive the more you get, except there's a cap so you can't just hide. I think the cap is 800 xp for 800 seconds of being in a match.
-
I bought him and played him about 3 times, wasn't pleased with him but I haven't played since he got changed/fixed.
-
Also just to add. For Console players it takes upto 5 minutes to load into each match let alone the matchmaking times. On PC it's pretty much instant.
The grind is way worse on Console because the average match lasts longer meaning more matches need to be played and the loading times are embarrassingly long.
I've been slowly climbing, most challenges done but still I'm only at lvl 45 or something like that.
The rift just rewards the people who play everyday and the people who have stuff to do miss out on the rewards even if they put a massive amount of time into the game and even if they complete every day challenge they aren't even close to finishing the rift.
It would be stupid for me to buy the next premium rift pass because it's very unfavorable towards Console loading times and people who have matchmaking issues at some point like I had for a long while.
-
Stealth is a valid part of the game. Mainly a useless tactic in most scenarios but if hiding is an exploit then something is wrong.
Therefore hiding behind the hook cannot seriously be seen as an exploit. Plus how often does it work? Not all the time and when you're hiding there you are likely to be more use somewhere else like on a gen.
