  • Dead by daylight Dan thinks this change to ruin is no biggy. Dead by daylight Dan has confidence in his ability to overcome everything even the most hardcore survivors can throw at him.

Dead by daylight Dan has quite a big ego and rumor has it he pays off survivors to make him look good.

Tru3 isn’t a good example. The dude is non stop complaining about swf and how hard playing killer is, yet he gets 4ks in almost every game.

    Here we go again.

  • Killers are playing survivor to skew the survival rates HELP!!!

sorry i'll unequip the BNP from my Trapper again...

You know that you shouldn't confess to it, unless you want trapper nerfed even more.

  • This is NOT the poll I was promised 😠 DOWNVOTE

Noooo. They took my power to DOWNVOTE away💀

As a survivor main I am entitled to downvote killer main posts.

Also Yay , I'll cleanse him myself.

Ghostface rework idea: I think every survivor should get a cell phone. Ghostface has a 32m terror radius, but he can call survivors and hear the phone ringing within 8 meters. This gives him incredible short range tracking. If survivors answer the phone, they get exposed. Survivors can just take the battery out of the phone by hitting a skill check at the beginning of the trial. This prevents Ghostface from ever calling them, and makes it so he's not annoying for survivors. Additionally, survivors can sign up for the Do Not Call list in the options menu to permanently block Ghostface's number.

No we're nerfing GhostFace not buffing. Typical killer main.

  • I'M NOT MESSING AROUND I want change

  • Variety is good. Anything other than the 5 back to back cold wind maps you keep getting. More is fun, just make fine QoL adjustments.

  • You beat me to making a similar thread.

The brightness might be a tiny issue but the new rework of Lerys seems really good.

I kinda hope they still have the original map in the game just for variation.

  • This is an attack on our beloved community.

You shouldn't complain about other people complaining.

I won't be home for several hours. What are you referring to?

Honestly it's probably nothing but a cosmetic in the new rift literally makes clown really op. I don't wanna spoil it you'll see.

  • Clown got a massive buff. Check the rift.

  • Harry Potter and the Censorship of the broken matchmaking.

  • I thought this was a thread complaining about queue times for survivor.

They've already gone I've been waiting for 45minutes and still nothing.

Are you begging for attention or something? I don't get it. But yeah. You do you. Be a trendsetter.

Clearly they're saying that if you're slugged you cannot do gens. Stop acting like this is killer mains Vs survivor mains when it's clearly killers Vs game balance in favour of survivor being made easier.

  • No this game does bad one week then does well the week after, been doing so for years and will continue to do so.

The one thing which will potentially hurt the game is it's disregard for one role within the game.

If you continue making the game easier and balanced towards survivors you have to acknowledge that people need to play killer and have fun if you want it game to function.

The ruin nerf has created an indefinite problem in waiting which will completely screw matchmaking and all killers.

It's forcing all killers to get good when survivors don't even need to be any good at all.

To me it seems as if they're trying to make dbd a party game in which if you have 4 survivors doing something you just win unless you're really bad, the power/control killer has is getting smaller and smaller.

  • 3ldgtt.jpg

I mean he's signed it so you'll have to revert it back.

  • It's important to voice your dissatisfaction towards something but once you start with a few insults it does get toxic.

I will say that it's easy to label a bad opinion as insulting to the Devs or whoever, some harsh criticism maybe just has to be taken on the chin.

If people never show how angry they are about a chance you won't get the full picture of what s particular action will have on the playerbases opinion.

  • 3614507-resident-evil-resistance.jpg

    Depends on two things.

    1. Whether the game will be balanced for casuals, meaning playing super serious doesn't put you at a massive advantage against the killer.

    2. Whether the next asymmetric horror game Resident Evil Resistance is any good.

I personally don't know, we'll see in march.

Also I try to play both roles but I'll probably play way less killer because I don't feel like wanting to rip my eyeballs out.

Killer mains asking for meta survivor perks nerf after the ruin nerf suddenly forgot about Decisive, BT, Mettle of Man, Balanced Landing, but hey, devs are biased against killers, right? Grow up, while I don't have a problem with the current Ruin, this change might mean that something else will come in the game soon after this change, something like gen speed, they are planning things for the long term for a few months now, so chill.

Bias and actually knowing the imbalances killer has are completely different.

Survivor entitlement gone through the roof. Now it's only Survivors allowed to be mad and call out the other side.

Killer meta is ruin (can be broken 14 seconds in) sloppy butcher (countered by inner strength or by not healing at all) and that's about it.

You list the meta survivor perks which have been nerfed in the past, do you think anyone who plays this game wants a perk like Mettle of man to be nerfed so much that it's just pointless and unattractive.

If you're solely a main of survivor or killer you are likely unaware of the imbalances of the other side so I don't see why people decide to be so critical of something obviously unknown to them.

  • Balanced landing actually got a buff, no "ahhhh" when you drop from height and only nerfed in the sense you cannot abuse it again and again.

You don't get killer perks you can abuse again and again. You can't use pop goes the weasel everytime you kick a gen, survivor perks are way more abuseable.

  • When you make a thread where you complain about other people complaining.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

Are people really crying about Adrenaline, of all perks .... Really? It's a 1-time only thing, and requires ALL 5 generators to be completed to even proc. I see no point in arguing about this. Smh

Mettle of Man was nerfed to the ground for doing pretty much the exact same. Adrenaline does too much good for a survivor who does the objective they're supposed to do anyway.

It's a meta perk used for coordinated swf to totally overwhelm the killer once gens are done.

People complain about noed but no-one bats an eye at adrenaline.

Killers can defend totems to get noed to work, survivors do gens. When it's 4v1 you can't expect the killer to kill off everyone by the time you even touch a gen.

The only way to not have to deal with adrenaline is for the killer to play how survivors generally perceive as dirty and cheap or just be up against potato survivors which are the stark opposite of swf sweatlords with boxes.

It's an advantage which is massive when 1 solo queue player has less of compared to all 4 survivors which does happen often against the sweatlord swf teams.

  • Now we need the Devs to remove the exit doors...any minute now...😦

  • I hardly ever fully charge my hatchets, they're always kinda lofty so I can lob them other things.

  • LeatherJaneFace with her bun and face stapled on his.

  • Once disconnecting is made a punishable offense, do you think the leave match button should be changed into a Surrender button?

How could this be implemented fairly so it's not exploited by those very angry survivors wanting to wreck havok💀

  • Inner strength requires a totem, there are only 5 to share, plus you cannot use it mid chase unlike adrenaline.

The problem of game balance, not that someone did a bad job as killer all the time.

A slight nerf and people are getting defensive over fear that they'll lose their crutch🤭 hehehehe

  • An add on which prevents you from stepping on your own trap would make for some insane plays.

  • Hitboxes are constant, latency is the deciding factor in determining whether a hit is made.

Think of the Huntress hatchet hitbox being your angry clenched fist ✊, if you're drunk and wobbling all over you won't hit where you're aiming (latency). Don't drink and play Huntress.

  • I always get tempted to use it to bait pallet drops.

  • Interesting discussion brewing up.

I see a few people downplaying the strength of adrenaline and others saying they deserve the benefits from it for completing their objectives.

Let's get this straight, I think adrenaline should still exist as a perk which rewards you for being in the end game, just like I think Noed should reward you if you play a certain way.

In terms of noed being a perk to reward killers maybe you only expose survivors who've already been hooked. This way it would be a hex anti tunnel perk.

In short these perks should exist and be a good option which makes your perk build.

Also I notice a few of you still in denial about the games imbalance. Truth is a lot of stuff is still unbalanced but they're getting there.

If adrenaline is gonna get nerfed, then the same goes for NOED. :)

I agree but there is a long way between nerfing a perk and Mettle of Manning a perk.

  • I heard the Devs have made a Mummy killer but they're keeping it under wraps.

  • @vigilante714 said:

Because its like NOED. These perks only becomes usefull when the exit gates are powered. Killer bring NOED? He can 1 hit all 4 and all those gens are wasted. All 4 Survivors have adrenaline? Still depends for each survivor (dying, injured, healthy or deep wound) plus speed burst. But when the two are present, Adrenaline is nothing like a sprint burst with 2 extra seconds while killer has a permanent speed upgrade and prevent ez hook saves and makes the survivors tremble in opening exit gates. Although it might sound like the killer has an edge, this will only come true if survivors cleanse dull totems instead of finishing all 5 gens. And this might sound an edge for survivors, but there is a high chance that not all survivors brings it also not all survivors are so eager to cleanse totems and not all survivors (most of the time) makes it to the last part of the game. So i guess that's why no one complains about it because survivors and killers are lazy discussing it considering all that i mentioned.

Killers have shame using noed, adrenaline is a meta survivor perk. One counters the other but they are not used at the same rate and if they are they are both rewarding players a huge advantage during the escape phase.

  • @Fog_King said:

I used this perk from time to time, but nowadays, not really. I mean, I used it for the health state recovery after the gates were powered, not because of the speed boost. Removing the health state recovery would kill the perk, because in a lot of matches, it can be almost useless. You can be killed before the gates are powered or you can be healthy and not even in a chase. It's a gamble and so it has the be a good reward for the perk to be worth using.

But it's not a gamble, you are supposed to do objectives, if you don't manage to then you are not worthy of equipping adrenaline. I agree the heal is the big reason people use it so it should be needed with that in mind.

That one Steve perk Second wind has a passive heal, an 8 -12 seconds passive heal in my opinion would be a good balance tweak (nerf) to adrenaline.

  • @Cetren said:

Only change it needs is a 3 second speed boost from 5 seconds. Why every exhaustion perk with a speed boost has a 3 second sprint while adrenaline has 5 is beyond me. Really breaks the game when it acrivates mid chase.

Maybe the answer is to have it trigger once a chase is broken. Kinda like play with your foods cooldown after breaking chase. Probably reduce or remove the speed burst too.

  • @Ihatelife said:

Because it can be used once and it rewards you for completing objectives.

Mettle of Man could only be used once and it still gave a free health state like it does now. MoM now can be triggered as many times as you can get it to proc but it's still extremely unlikely to get 3,6,9,12 protection hits which is when it'll be worth while.

Adrenaline comes when gens are done or when hatch is closed, that happens pretty much at least half of all games, you get a free heal and a speedy boost every 1 in 2 games, that sounds insane to me.

I did not say anything about his personality or what a person he is, I simply commented on what I saw by watching gameplay, I have not said he is the worst player either, and by having this many hours- and by this I mean he has Devotion 11- he hasn't been in the game for a day. Also, I never said this is the first time I am watching him, I simply watched it and commented more critically. This is not bullying btw

Going out your way to brandish him as a rank 19 skill level (no skill) player is disrespectful and I don't know why you think anyone else cares what your bad opinion of him is.

  • Also how would you know he has "so many hours in this game" by watching 2 of his livestreams and a couple of videos on YouTube?

    @tedito20004

  • Also I'm pretty sure this is your very first post, not out to hate, really?

  • An underperforming killer can still 4k, an overperforming killer can still 0k. To me a lot of it comes to the person's ability when playing killer.

The best killers tend to play the strongest killers like pre nerf Spirit and nurse as they go on to play the next strongest killers they will increase the 'need' for a nerf of those too.

If every nurse and spirit player all switched to playing clown then he would be the one in the nerf spotlight. Because they are the most skilled killers in most cases, or they have a very high standard that they desperately want to keep with.

  • I only use Moris for challenges and in case I need to eliminate a cocky nitwit who is exploiting the game mechanics by doing gens and being useful to the survivor team.

  • Just saying, when people feel like Irridescent heads are at risk of being nerfed they will try to use them up before any changes are made.

Therefore suggesting nerfs in my opinion will backfire.

  • Bubba's Breast Best Breast.

  • I've only returned to finish up the last I can towards the rift. Matchmaking made me quit because I couldn't find any matches.

I played Rainbow six seige and a few other games during the break and it was refreshing.

I am back to playing dbd a lot less often depending on whether I can find lobbies, to complete achievements or just chill while playing music.
