My queue times have gone up drastically since the Ruin nerf. I'm waiting anywhere from 8-16 minutes to find a game as Survivor.
Just my personal experience.
Interesting. Maybe it's a region thing? By no means are my queues great but they do feel a few minutes shorter than usual.

There are people playing killer. There are just significantly less than there were before.

Growing in player count.
Wut? It's been stagnant in playercount more or less since about 5 months after it came out. It pops once in a while for DLC's, then evens out to around the same number. Stop making claims you don't actually have data on.
ALSO - statistical data to back my claim:
https://steamcharts.com/app/381210
and
Almost like there's more than one platform to pull stats from. Go grab the PS4, XBox, Switch, and Windows store ones while you're at it.

You repeated yourself again o.O Imagine that. The difference between us is, when I repeat myself, I provide logic, and I'm actually right. When you do it, it's one-liner meaningless statements with no logical backing. You can't just say "it was a lot harder before" and have it invalidate someones statement that it's still a horses ass now. There's no substance to that.
In any case - all the killers complaining now that have been around since then? Marth? Tyde? Tru3? many others? How do you plan to discredit them? Also, where are these numbers from? Where are your sources? "The majority of them weren't around before". You must have statistical data to make such a claim, right? Cough it up, bud! I'd love to see it! 😎
Also - I would never stalk you. Don't flatter yourself.
You're always right? I will need the stats to back that up bud.
And sure, you can always be right in your head if you try hard enough.
It would be statistically accurate to say a majority of the people with less than 80 posts complaining on here aren't exactly beta players. Especially when they just say "I believe that the Devs should get fired for ruining this game". Anyone who's been around long enough can actually articulate what they want to say. A majority of these forum posts really show they haven't played long. Same with people who call to nerf Leatherface for some reason because "you can't avoid his chainsaw". You just know they're not veterans to the game.
Also - sounds like something a stalker would say.

You can protect this unbalance game all you want and you can lick the feet of these devs all you like.. I don't care.. But with the direction it is going, Yeah It will die soon.. It is just a matter of time..
Sure, everything dies eventually. I don't think that statement really means anything.
This game was supposed to "die" multiple times with every major change that pissed one side off and yet here it is. Growing in player count. Crazy, right?

*Gasp* A serious response? About time. FYI, you have a conversation by saying civil intelligent things to one another, not making snarky insinuations because you don't like someone else's opinions. Though my initial comment may have been bold and rather sarcastic, you've no right to begin making silly claims.
I play both sides as well, thought I prefer killer. You, on the other hand, clearly prefer Survivor. At current, Survivors hold the majority of the power in deciding match length, that's a fact, especially in red ranks. So it's amusing that so many that play Survivors get so bent out of shape when a killer turns the tables and starts quickly executing Survivors, and calling it unfair. In the same thread, people are whining about tunneling.
It's the same nonsense rhetoric, again and again. I don't play with Mori's but every once in a blue moon. The idea that the only Mori that most of you won't change is the hardest to use because it's not just about catching you, but simultaneously about trying to keep you from finding the hatch is laughable. Survivors are living on easy street, right now, yet the one thing that lets us even the odds, though it's a single use item that we get few of, is the first thing you want gone? Not a chance. Killers still have to work for Mori's, while Survivors just have to play a waiting game, then some quick hunt and find. Most find the hatch while hiding or running, anyway, and Killers have no counter play to that. It's only fair we should have something, too.
I don't really have much to say to you if you think Mori's are fine. Enjoy the crutch while you can I suppose.

You tend to post the same thing repeatedly I see.
Imagine thinking "It was harder before" justifies the difficulty offset vs survivor difficulty that still exists. Killer is the power role. Or rather, is supposed to be.
Same with you on any Hillbilly post fam. It's like you stalk my every move or something.
It WAS harder before, and a majority of people who complain about killer right now weren't even around for it and think this is the worst it has been.

There are less killers now actually since the Ruin Nerf.. I mean why would I play Killer especially M1 Killers when 2-3 Gens are popping in the 1st minute before you could even locate 1 Survivor to hit and hook.. Ruin's Job was to stall the Survivors into doing Gens.. Yes, It is a gamble perk but at least M1 Killers could get 1 or 2 Hook at least before Ruin is gone.. Now that nobody is using the useless new ruin, who would want to play Killer now? Only self-proclaimed killers who claims they don't use ruins but fails to show any video or evidence showing them that they are playing on the Red Ranks without ruin..
Hope this game dies soon..
Gonna need stats to back that one up. Matchmaking was bad every since the SWF change. My queue times actually improved with the ruin nerf.
And no, the game won't die anytime soon.

I believe that the Devs should get fired for ruining this game. They claim that they are making it balanced but in reality, any changes makes the killer more hard and less enjoyable. It makes survivor more easier to play. If you look at other 4v1 games, they actually listen to both sides and fix some issue. DBD doesn't really listen to both sides as much. I feel like they are slowly running out of ideas and creativity. I will admit that the archive challenges is a good concept because it gives people more things to do and help sided player to be more versatile. Other indie horror games like White Noise 2 or Friday the 13th are a bit more balanced in a sense.
Are we forgetting killer used to be way harder than it is now to fit a certain narrative? Ok cool, just making sure.

In the dev post about matchmaking, the word "fairness" is thrown around a lot. And yet, SWF is not mentioned even once.
If an MMR system is introduced, obviously 4-man SWF teams will be the highest MMR because they have inherent advantages that solo players do not. Is this not seen as a problem? I don't understand how you can introduce skill-based matchmaking and not factor in SWF whatsoever.
They never said they would or wouldn't. How about you wait to see what happens first?

It's okay for killers to have a broken item that takes up neither an addon or a perk slot. But as soon as survivors have anything, killers all of a sudden become this group who feverishly seek out "balance".
It's definitely an interesting spectacle to witness, that's for sure.

Because the problems they had are easily fixed by just knowing how to loop her. If you play as spirit and are good with her you know how to effectively counter spirits, throw pallets down early about a second or 3 after she begins phasing, zig zag during your runs to confuse her, and basically just be good at reading killers. She's the hardest to read but while playing against her its easy to do it once you notice her patterns.
I shouldn't have to play as Spirit until I'm good at her to understand how to counter Spirit. No other killer is like that in the game.

You know what else was annoying? Being physically unable to escape a good nurse. Good nurses would literally triangulate a survivor's position and would be inescapable. At least there's a 4ish second cooldown associated with that now.

Various content creators have been banned before for using an exploit. Feel free to look it up. There's literally documented survivor bans that you guys just seem to ignore to fit the narrative. It's silly.
Here's an exploit that people got banned for on Swamp:
Killer was stuck on top of the Survivor and couldn't move. People were banned for doing this.

If it is something they didn't intent to be there and plan to remove, then it is an exploit. They just don't consider exploits that hurt the killer's experience as a priority.
That's literally not true. Survivors have been banned for using Survivor exploits, so clearly there is some proof that the devs care about killers. I know that goes against the typical narrative of these forums, but it's true! The devs are capable of caring about both sides! Crazy, right?
It's a feature in the game for now. Plenty of things in the game are bugs that turned into features. Moonwalking wasn't intended, but is it an exploit? No. You can't consider everything unintentional an exploit.
Also, fun fact, a survivor doing the hook tech actually benefits the killer. They either get to camp 2 people at the same time, or you can still walk to the side and hit the survivor. They aren't actually invincible back there like you might think. But if you want to play it safe, just sit there and wait. The teammate either dies or he goes for the save and you can grab/get a free down on the rescuer. All while only 2 people max are on generators.

Not in the traditional sense. And not with how quickly they can all get done, especially at red ranks.
There is no way to counter Adrenaline like people can deny NOED. It just doesn't have the possibility.
I rarely see NOED denied. It usually always comes into play unless a player has a specific vendetta against totems, (which in that case, that's more gen time for ya).

I have been playing dbd for going on 3 years now and its been really fun. I'm a legion main but i do play both sides A LOT and I've noticed that whenever there is a perk or add-on bug in dbd the devs say only killers will get banned. For example, infinite legion was a thing a people did it a bit. But then the devs say killers will get banned if they do it. However when dead hard could get survivors too unreachable areas or the wake-up bug or when survivors could launch themselves into say the combine in coldwind maps or when a survivor uses the hook exploit to be untouchable. The devs never said a survivor will get banned for it. So why do killers get banned for using a bug but survivors don't?
I'd like to know where you got the stats that no survivors have ever been banned ever.
Content creators (not an anecdote, actual proof) have been banned for using exploits too.
They don't consider the hook tech as an exploit, but it's something they want to patch eventually. That is very different from say infinite mending literally not letting survivors play the game.

Lol. Oh sweetie. This coming from someone that whines because an ephemeral item in a game causes you such rage?
"Boohoo, we didn't get all the chances we wanted to play, so you need to take the item out that offended us!"
Grow up. Even if a killer chooses to use a Mori, you're all still so predictable, it wouldn't matter anyway. Why do you think the Devs keep favoring you? A) you don't ever change your tactics, and B) you spend money on their extras.
I don't recall whining at any point here, just trying to have a discussion about something that is clearly lets killers bypass a majority of the game. If you want to live life on ez mode, it's fine; just don't forget that you are and aren't above anyone.
I'd like to think I've become someone decent at the game after 1k hours, also I play both roles so berating me for being a "Survivor main" is such a single-cell response.
Telling me to grow up followed by a "lol #triggered" is pretty ironic, but deep down I think you know that. Keep living in your echo chamber :)

While your at it, could you call a Survivors convention and come to terms with the fact that Killers aren't in anyway required to adhere to your mythical 'rules' about, well, anything? Besides, why would any killer require a Mori? We don't. It's just a nice way to thin the herd faster. So you may want to work on that entitled attitude of yours.

You asked, I answered. Don't like the answer, don't ask. As an aside, nice of you to assume I need a Mori to win. That's about as the same level or eye roll-worthy as most of these folks complaining about tunneling. Seriously, have none of you ever been hunting? You'd never let the prey you just stalked and injured go to hunt a healthier one that just showed up. It defeats the purpose of stalking them in the first place.
It's silly to call tunneling 'toxic' when it's one of the most basic, effective means to eliminate prey. Same with Mori's. I find you, I have the ability to kill you and take some of the insane amount of pressure the Devs favoritism has created off of me, I'm going to do it. Keys still have more power if only because they allow multiple Survivors out at once.
It's okay to be bad at video games, you don't have to justify yourself.

Games can change.
If you want people to just not complain about anything annoying to them, let's go back to beta DBD where Survivors were actual Gods with double window shack, tons of infinites, double the pallets, insta blinds, instant self care, etc. No complaining right?

Which part would you like explained? The fact that a Mori still requires a Killer to chase you twice, hook you one, and must be done four times? And that's assuming you can find the third and fourth Survivors before they find the hatch? Or perhaps we're the Mori only has one function, where keys have add-ons that allow for tracking Survivors, the killer themselves, and even protects it from disappearing after use, where the Mori is one and done? Or maybe you'd like to discuss the synergy with a map holder and a black silk cord?
If I'm being forced to deal with three gens being completed in under three minutes, you can bet I'll take every Mori I can bring with me. Oh, then there's that: you can find one in a random box AFTER you go into a trial, but our only way to do anything close is to use a convoluted hex perk that rarely lasts longer enough, or one of a few that only allows the last Survivor to be Moried, again IF they can be found before they find the hatch.
At least you're self-aware that you NEED a mori to win a game. (Although you may want to work on that not being the case).

Fully explain the comparison of keys to moris.
Keys are for end game, moris end the game at least ebony. Ivory can if used in the first mins of the game. Killer uses ebony more. Hooks first person. proxy camps in the area. Survior unhooked killer b lines to unhooked survivor downs them while ignoring the savior. Murders them rinse and repeat 3 or 4 times. Game over time for a 30 min que time. Key on the other hand gens have to be done +1 to survivors left. So at most 3 gens have to be done for 2 to escape. But in the most cases survivors use the key to escape with the 4 man at EGC. But even so they had to 85% roughly of their objective. Killer had to do at most 25%. Keys not as OP as mori. In different categories of level of use effectiveness.
I always considered insta-heals a Mori-counterpart because it succeeded in cheating death while Mori's speed up death. And insta heals have already been toned down a ton so... what bout those Mori's dou?

that does not apply to all survivor ultra rares though. Keys and Rainbow Maps are still very strong items.
also, keep in mind you can bring up to 4 of them in one game. even the weaker ultra rares will be a lot more powerful when brought by more players. just imagine 4 Brand New Parts on decent toolboxes...
the Syringe is also not a weak tool to use, though it requires some more skill than before, the only thing i would actually agree on here is the Odd Bulb. that one really sucks xD
here is my final opinion on mories:
do they need a nerf? yes.
is "the mori requires 2 hooks" a good nerf idea? no.
the nerf should decrease the amount of power they hold and put them on a more balanced level, not make them completely useless.
That's my point though. Some of those are actual ultra rares and some shouldn't be classified as an ultra rare anymore. Just because Ebony gets nerfed doesn't mean it will just lose its status.
I personally think the Styptic is just straight up better than syringe now since there's no wait time and it can be used in various situations. Syringe has that gap where you need to waste a bunch of pallets or perform god-like maneuvers for 15 sec to pull it off in a chase.
What change would you make to Mori's then? Not really many other options that won't cause them to feel clunky. I don't think the offering should hold so much power in the first place since it's just an offering. The only equivalent survivors have is increasing luck and that barely does anything, so I don't know why it shouldn't just be a cool 3rd hook alternative that maybe grants more points.
Could also stop the person dead on hook from getting pallet/flashlight saved or bodyblocked for, so it's not "useless".

Sry, but that is not a very grown up argument of you. Not everyone can be a companie and also not everyone need to be a companie.
If you have enough insight of an topic, you are aible to voice your opinion to that and if someone is a main of something, it is highley possible that he knows from what he is talking, as long as he only talks about stuff that fits to his role.
My point is I doubt you know more than them. What you propose could be very complicated to do and you write it off as "should've been done already".
Unless you know how it works, don't just have your expectations serve as the baseline on how hard it is to do changes you want.

From a Legion perspective... Let us please go almost a year back in time, kk? Even with a fully restored mm and so on.
You survivors crying already around if a perk gets nerfed.
Imagine someone would nerf your basekit and imagine on top of that, that this nerf would be unjustified.
And yes, as Legion main I had know from the op addons and exploits. I don't denie here anything.
Still there would have been better ways of doing this "rework". Like maybe just nerfing the op addons (you know, the addons with that those little crybabie streamers have always shown how "op" the killer with one of the worst killrates was) and fixing the damn exploits, like every other companie would have done it.
Make your own company and do it yourself then since you know all the answers

My point was that I it's better to split survivors to force them to work on separate gens, you can get three hooks before the first gen pops if you know what you're doing.
Sure, then you'll get 3 gens popped instead of 1 if they can loop decently. Smart thinkin'.
