Nurse, Bubba, Billy, Pig, Ghostyface, Demodoggo, Oni, and Wraith. In no particular order, however Bubba and Billy are my top two out of all of them.
Mad grit; its hilarious to watch them spam attack with this perk
Trail of torment; fun little perk that makes any killer stealthy and has a clear and concise way to counter it.
Haunted Grounds; i like the little "oh crap" feeling I get and/or the "CRAP! Sorry!!" Feeling I get. I love it even more when I can outrun the time in a chase.
Rancor; prefer on certain killers-- just like to be moried at times haha
And I love all meme perks.

Wholesome DBD Moments, man! Ive had a few!
As Survivor;
- Booping the Pigs Snoot is the best thing in this game by far for me. When a Piggy lets me boop her snoot, I cant help but follow her around or meme about! My favorite moment of this happening was when I was on Old Crotus Penn-- was in a 3 man Swf (one serious and one who also memed like me) and it was piggy. We had a horrible game prior so I didn't want a serious game. I wasn't going to be useless but I was going to meme if I was near the killer or survivors. Anywho, the pig that match found me first. She had crouched up to me, I had seen her, so I let go of the gen and crouched to her. She hit me, but when I didnt run away, she stared at me a moment. I nodded my head and pointed. She crouched again and let me boop her snoot. She did her adorable squeak and II shook about in front of her. My teammates were so confused because I squeal and get loud when excited. My serious friend had scoffed and asked why was I always meming, but the pig and I had so much fun. She killed the random, my meme friend and let me and my serious friend live- sort of. She took me to hatch (endgame timer was at roughly 25%), after my friend escaped, to which I shook my head no to. She nodded a lot and sliced at the air. I didnt wanna leave her. She knocked me and tried to force me out but after I escaped her grasp, I crouched next to her and she let me boop her before I died happily. In messages, I told her thank you and boops for life. I also said I wasn't going to leave her to the entitys evil clutches alone. She had responded with "you made my day, thank you so much. And I will always remember you". Ive had so mamy amazing boop moments. These moments will always be cherished.
- Ghostfaces are meme machines in my eyes. Of course, in the effort to be tbagged at back, many Yutycorn feng mins died. However, I had one game, I was in a Swf against a ghostface, I had a ghostfaces who I didnt tbag at in the beginning. He seemed to be playing for real and I was in a "be chased mood". He did chase me, but he couldnt catch me. The map was Coal tower. We got over to a long wall jungle gym where once I threw the pallet, she got stunned and then stood there. I immediately felt bad and crouched up to the pallet looking down. I saw him look down at me briefly before turning around and looking down at the ground. At this point all gens had been completed. I slow vaulted into him, went around to his front and nodded at him. She stared at me. I tbagged at him a couple times and nodded. He tbagged back. Then for a few moments we were in sync for tbagging. He stayed crouched and began crouching around the map. I followed along. It was hard keeping up, so hed wait for me to do so before continuing on. My friends and I followed him the whole time like that until the endgame killed us. We went around the whole map together! In messages, I told him i was sorry and I love you. He responded with, "dont, you did well! I had a few bad games before so I just had enough and sat there so yall could do the gens. But you never left my side. When I saw you and the others following me around the map, it was so sweet and hilarious!" To me its about making sure the killer has fun too and if Im the reason or part of the reason for making their fun end, I will try to make them feel better with what I am good at. Meming.
- Another thing I absolutely love doing is running this build: Appraisel, Plunders, AitH, Adrenaline-- a shiny coin offering-- while wearing the silliest or flashiest cosmetics. And for one reason. To bring the killer gifts in their basement. Ofc I dont do this with randoms, because SoloQ is already a struggle, worse when one less person is working. However, when I'm in a Swf, I can often get them to play along and they too often bring the same build. One particular game, on Old Autohaven, we had Oni as our killer. I had managed to get 4 items (2 chests worth) (also using old Appraisal) into the basement before Oni found me and started chasing me. Or at least, what he thought was going to be a normal chase. Keep in mind, my team and I were apread out looking for, not gens, but chests. So no gen progress had been made whatsoever. Each of us had brought a shiny coin in as well as each of us had appraisal. (3 base chests plus each shiny coin plus the 12 extra rummages, we were a busy group) Anywho, oni hit me. I however, used the burst of speed and fled to the basement. I dropped off the item I had and crouched down there waiting. He stood at the stairs and stared at me. He slowly walked to me and the items and nodded down at the items. At the time my four were there, plus 3 others. So it was a pile of stuff. He spun around several times and sliced at the air. In the end, all chests had been looted and dropped off into the basement. We each crouched around the basement hooks as he hit us each time we went around until we were all slugs. He picked us up each and put us on the books down there. My friend kobed and tbagged the items and turned around to point at the hooks. They were downed again. Needless to say, the basement party ended well! Sadly, the oni had his messages turned off .-.

Why... My fears.. I...
I personally hate going against trapper. I don't hate the player. I hate trapper. He makes me so anxious. Like.. Is there a trap?! He is a weaker killer by far, but that doesn't change the fact I do not enjoy playing against him. Even when I play as him, my instincts are like "no thank you, I choose life". He does need something to help him out with the higher level of play, but personally? I'll still be anxious, if not more so, will turn into a more or less useless teammate. Well I say more or less. My instincts and anxiety when it comes to traps aren't normally wrong, so I can disable traps before I fall into them, buut its more likely of me to run a loop all wrong and getting down that way in the end. I just dun like feeling so anxious π

Because tunnels could cave in and-- oh wait... you mean dead by daylight. A game where sometimes somebody complains about someone doing something their own way. Good golly gosh. How dare people! Sorry you are yet another innocent hooman attacked by dese dese... Almonds! Have some pringles.
No but seriously, tunneling is usually the most annoying when done early game or when the survivors are clearly struggling. 3 gens or less? To me that could cause for tunneling. Because 4 people in disarray are far more likely to get their act together as a team over three, over two, and over a killer. So i can understand it, just not a fan when its used when there's no need for it.

Hmm, personally Freddy has left a bad taste in my mouth. Granted, not all of that is old Freddy or New Freddys fault, but I digress. I have horrible frame rates in his dream state no matter what. He still hits me from places that seemed fine on my end. My hearing makes it hard to know if he is close or not in the dream state. Which this could be everyone.
His changes seem to have made him less oppressive but, i dunno. Guess I'll just always dislike him.

As a survivor I do have a request on how you should play!
Play how you want to. And if you want to play to win, do that, I'll match your energy. Want to play to be toxic? I wont like it, but I'll do my best. Play to meme and want me to escape? Darling, I'm matching your energy and dying to the entitys lil hug. Memes are life.
Play how you want. Ignore the complainers, the whiners, the entitleds. This game isnt supposed to be one sided. Its supposed to be challenging. Fun! So you do you, to hecklers with the haters.
-
Guess I am still a glutton for punishment, because as survivor; Nurse, Billy, Bubba, Ghostface, Pig and a couple others are my absolutely favorite killers to go against. I'm okay at looping. However with the Nurse you gotta think outside of the normal box. In addition, shes limited to 2, 3 max blinks and understanding her fatigue can make a huge difference.
Of course, the Nurse players who have mastered the Queen will be tougher to outwit. Shes a hard killer to learn and master, so she has an unbelievable power. As many content creators have said, when you go against a Nurse or play her-- you're not playing DBD. Youre playing the Nurse Game. She isn't hindered by pallets and windows like other killers.
I guess thats one of the things I enjoy about her. I can outplay a good or lower nurse player, but Masters are near uncounterable, which makes when you mindgame or do something unpredictable and win, that much better. Just my take on her. Everyone has their opinion, some like her and some hate her. I know my least favorite killers are trapper, Freddy, Nemesis, Spirit, and Clown.

Had this happen as Survivor as well
-
To start off, I enjoy to meme and thoroughly do so throughout the match. This usually only happens with my allies or if it's a specific killer (ie pig or ghostface) therefore, there are certain things I do that aren't intended to be toxic but are likely to be perceived as toxic due to the influence by the community.
With that said, there are things that I view as toxic, such as blatant tbagging at every pallet to be toxic. I hate seeing it as eitger side and refuse to do it. Personally, it makes me think the survivor is doing it just to be a nuisance and/Or want to ruin the killer's day.
Tbagging at the exit gate is also toxic or rather just mean. I find it mean because it just rubs salt into the wound. Especially if the killer has been given an awful match. If I see a survivor doing it, I am very likely to go back into the match and try meming while also giving the killer a kill.
I also find most forms of pointing (ie after pallets, after certain "tunneling" or "camping" scenarios) to be toxic and rude which leads me to another matter -- I find survivors that farm with the killer right there to be unsportsmanlike, especially when they don't have borrowed time or are doing it just to farm those 1k points. As killer, it makes me feel bad when I have to strategically go after the injured person-- even often throwing the game to let the injured person go to chase the healthy survivor.

Sameness and my friends

It is still happening. I've died multiple times now because of it. It's getting a bit frustrating to deal with, please look at this e.o I'll post a link in a minute to show you what is happening.
-
I'm addicted to it to. My build now even in SWFs is this;
Borrowed Time for last minute saves / Kindred for obvious reasons / Bond for obvious reasons / Open handed because this perk makes aura reading so much better.
-
Dude your excitement has literally got me excited!!
Nurse's are a TON of fun, this i can agree. Trying to outplay them is so nervewracking. When you find that Nurse who can predict and strategically uses her blinks you know you need to up your game. These kind of people prove that our girl is still Top tier.
-
I recently started playing in SWFs. SWFs definitely have a much higher win rate -- especially with ranking atm.
However, I left SWF after they went to bed and did Some solo. Win/loss rate was relatively tied. I'm rank 1 and my solo games were mostly a safety pip. I did depip a few times with the few losses, but if get it back with a few of the wins.
I personally feel killers have it a bit rougher than survivors, even more so with the matchmaking right now.
Ruin now is easily countered by doing generators. Freddy is an oppressive force with certain perks and add-ons so I can understand a loss. But you can win against those players like every other killer. The game relies heavily on rng, mistakes, and the survivors ability to pressure/killers ability to pressure. Just keep playing, you'll get some wins.
I will say solo queue is painful right now, almost as painful as playing killer, but I digress -- this is my opinion.
-
Also, to add, it allows solo queue but not SWF
-
Happens on PS4 as well. Can't invite my friend.
Dunno how to reproduce it.
I go into the game, click the plus sign, and immediately says connection lost then goes on to say, some social features may not be available.

Aye, aye, aye... I suppose it was only a matter of time before this Hag-Style got too unfun to play against before someone came into the Forums to say "get rid of it", "nerf it", or "buff this and nerf that". I'm not hating/being dismissive, I'm being genuine, please bare with me. In addition, this will be a somewhat biased statement, because I love Hag, as her and against her.
I'm going to start by listing off her weaknesses that I know and have experienced as a Hag player: (keep in mind, I am a WEB-BASED Hag. I do NOT over-trap hooks, but I will list the weaknesses of the aforementioned Hag plays from above)
- Flashlights: Flashlights completely disable the traps, eliminating any use of them -- does alert the Hag, but knowing where a survivor is doesn't actually help her if she has no web/traps to effectively chase the survivor or if she's too far away to pressure the loss of the trap (doing this is actually not a good idea, though, she loses pressure by attempting a pressure -- unless of course she's right on the survivor)
- Speed: One of the Hag's biggest weaknesses, but also one of her necessary ones (At least imo), is that she's a slow killer going 4.4m/s or 110% speed.
- Coordinated Survivors: SWF's are all Killer's weakness to a degree -- but they hurt the Hag the most; they can eliminate her power with ease, avoid her webs effectively, and can easily get generators done in the process
- Generator Times: Generators WILL get done, a MINIMUM of one-two will get done before the Hag can effectively get a chase going -- and that's hoping survivors run into her Web (IF she's using a web of course) (you can also use Corrupt to help lessen these odds, but it's ALWAYS in the Hag's best interest to get a web down before she begins a chase)
- Setup Time: Hags HAVE to setup. This is her biggest hindrance but it can reap many rewards if her web is effective and beautiful. Yes, she has ten traps, has addons which can lessen setup time, but in the end, it is necessary to get at LEAST 7 traps down in a POPULAR area (ie the school on Badham) Setup time can coincide with other factors which can make her pressure on early generators NONEXISTENT.
- Large Maps: Large maps are EVERY killer's nightmare -- if they have ZERO map pressure (ie Clown, Deathslinger, etc) Hag has it worse, because not only does she need to setup, she also has 110% movement speed. Her gameplay is sluggish to put it simply, because she moves awfully slow
- Hooking: Hooking survivors help killers with pressure, but before the Hag can put the survivor on the hook, she's vulnerable to losing her web. (as explained below)
- Good+ Survivor Knowledge of the Hag: Survivors with good understanding of Hag players (this is based on the effective web-Hags, however) will know to eliminate her webs when she is hooking/preparing to hook a survivor. Good Hags will usually lose one-three traps in their web before downing a Survivor, so that means at least 4 are still up. A survivor that knows the basic setting spots will run through her traps as she's hooking.
- Spawn Locations: Believe it or not, Hags can suffer immensely if their spawn locations are bad -- not spawning close to a cluster of gens, to a strong tile, can ultimately ruin your chance for a potentially good setup spot. Hags rely on taking hostage of an area with her webs in order to apply pressure, so if she spawns in a corner with one gen and a basic tile, she has to take the time to get to the nearest popular tile to setup -- if survivors aren't already there
- Dedicated Servers: Dedicated servers is hurting everyone; survivor and killer alike; but they're also making it where Hags cannot teleport effectively -- ultimately holding her in the same spot after setting down a trap and another going off elsewhere. She cannot teleport, and if the player (which I have done, because I was hoping it'd catch up with itself) continues to attempt to teleport, they're stuck in a loop until the Hag Phantasm turns red (there's a small window in which the Hag can teleport)
- Crouching: Crouch-walking makes her traps null. They don't activate if a player crouches over them, which also makes the perk "urban evasion" strong against her (ultimately unhook a survivor safely with this perk while also still being quick and efficient)
- Trap Appearance: Sometimes (this doesn't normally hurt her, however) if she is on maps like "The Game", "Hawkin's" and places where her traps are clearly visible; survivors are given ample time to react and make a read (whether that be crouch over to avoid detection or to eliminate the trap)
- 2+ Hook Trap: This is INEFFICIENT for the Hag to do, and it can ultimately ruin her chances of strong map pressure (she HEAVILY relies on her webs, and if there is no web, she's a basic attack Killer that goes 110% movement speed), when a Hag does this; it's countered by: Borrowed Time, Urban Evasion, and two-rescuers (two people doing the unhook goes like this: one survivor activates all of the traps, takes a hit and the Hag goes after them, while the second comes in for the save) The Hag loses distance if she teleports to each of those placed traps -- distance in which she desperately needs to take advantage of.
These are just the weaknesses that I can think of -- I'm pretty sure I named all of them, but I have likely missed a few. She is a VERY strong killer, but she has many weaknesses which can ultimately make her a very WEAK killer. I understand that she may not be fun to go against, because of the way her power works, but this doesn't necessarily make her a strong killer. Unfun to go against? Yes. But it's not the deciding factor in strength.
Now, I'm going to list off her strengths that I know and have experienced as a Hag Player. Same things apply here as mentioned above for the weaknesses:
- Height: Believe it or not, her small size gives her HUGE mindgaming potential. Despite it giving her some "small" hindrances on Corn maps, she still has immense potential for being so small. For example, she is completely hidden behind the haybale-filler-pallets on corn maps, making the survivor have to watch for her red stain.
- Terror Radius: The Hag has a very small terror radius in comparison to other killers, giving her opportune chances to sneak up onto survivors and even allow her to manuever herself into a position which allows her to HERD the survivors to her web.
- Crouching: Believe it or not, crouching survivors can also be a strength for the Hag -- because they have to lose precious time maneuvering around traps at a slower pace. (this is of course countered by Urban Evasion)
- Post-Hooking: The Hag has one of THE strongest hook controls in the game. Nearly as strong as Bubba's hook defense. Usually, placing one trap is all that is needed for the Hag to have hook pressure, as well as being the most efficient. Even if she doesn't get a trap proc, the survivor still has to crouch up to the trap to save the survivor (often after, the unhooked survivor panics and decides to run, procing the trap anyway) Of course, when a trap is proced before a save, this makes the would-be rescuer an easy hit, and even an easier down.
- Trap Disorientation: Traps, once activated, disorientate the survivors, locking their cameras onto the traps, which could make the survivor lose precious distance, run right into the trap/Hag, or mess up a loop that they'd otherwise have no issue with.
- MYC Plays: MYC is likely one of her strongest perks, however it encourages unfun gameplay. Despite it being unfun, it is still a strategy some Hags use -- and it's strong. The unhooked survivor may be safe for a moment after the Hag downs the rescuer, but to apply even more pressure, the Hag is likely to chase after and slug the unhooked player (ultimately tunneling and avoiding a tunneling perk (ds))
- 3-Gen Defense: Hags will often protect three generators by placing her traps around the area of those generators. This is often another unfun playstyle, but if the Hag player was unable to get her setup complete or she inefficiently placed her traps, she will often go for an easy 3-Gen strategy instead. 3-gen defense is one of her strongest strategies, and rightfully so. Survivors have to avoid traps and avoid her. Ultimately making this gameplay almost a guaranteed win for the Hag.
- Generator Defense: Generators are often trapped if they're within a potential web. This allows for the Hag to teleport and ultimately herd the survivor into her web, getting hits/downs in the process. Her generator DEFENSE is perhaps one of the strongest in the game as well, even despite all of her weaknesses/counters. (This is only if a Hag decides to pressure this, if she lets that generator go, or continues a chase with a different survivor, she's liable to lose that potential pressure)
- Trap Appearance: Most of the time, survivors can't see her traps, making them an easy proc for her to quickly take advantage of. This also gives her an immediate chase -- well if she's in the vicinity. (Hags need to be in range of their web, otherwise they're a basic attacker)
- Webs: Webs. Webs are what often make the Hag comparable to Nurse at times. She has the ability to end chases quickly and efficiently. This potential makes her a scary good adversary, which in its own right, makes her powerful. (Often I've referred to her as an Off-Brand Nurse, because of her webs alone). Good/beautiful webs give the Hag what she lacks early game. Map Pressure.
- Hostage: When I say hostage, I don't mean taking the game hostage -- I mean an actual playstyle that I refer to as Hostage. The Hag makes strong loops weak with her webs, and if these strong loops (crotus prenn for example) are trapped, survivors aren't going to be able to loop effectively. She closes off loops that would otherwise be difficult for other killers to play against. She ultimately takes hostage of an area that is always popularly traversed by survivors (giving her chases ALL the time) (For example, in the Preschool I place traps in these places: Front door that leads to the window, the hole, the back door, the top AND/OR bottom pallet, as well as a trap between the side door that leads to the cars and the window, meaning I've placed at LEAST 5 or 6 traps, giving me 4 to still work with. And you don't even have to use that many in the web to take the preschool hostage) Taking a strong tile hostage is one of the things that make Hag such a strong killer.
- Synergy: The Hag also has wonderful synergy with many different perks, which gives her variety and this variety often leads to unpredictability. (STBFL, MYC, Deerstalker, Corrupt Intervention, DH, Haunted Grounds, Retribution, A Nurses Calling (this one is my favorite to run on her), and these are just the ones I've enjoyed using on her)
- Post-Setup: If she's all setup with a STRONG web, her mid/late-game potential is high -- which also gives her avid snowball potential
- Snowball Potential: The Hag, like the Nurse, has a HIGH snowballing potential, and these days, snowballing is an absolute must in order to win a game.
- Pressure: The Hag can be anywhere and everywhere with a simple teleport. This makes her an intimidating force in a trial. She can lockdown sections of the map, make survivors panic, and ultimately take advantage quickly when the opportunity rises. Her pressure coincides beautifully with her snowball potential.
The Hag can be a force to reckon with, but like other killers, her downfall is gen pressure. I've noticed that some Hag Players have begun to resort to this camping/proxy camping strategy to ensure their kills/points/what have you, and it does hurt my soul to see it. Often, new Hag players will panic when they notice they're losing generators quickly, despite having to place down traps. So, in consequence, they take to the hook-pressure of the Hag instead. This is unfun, and despite being counterable, it isn't necessarily easily counterable -- ESPECIALLY in solo queues. SWFs, even two-mans, can have an easier time countering it, but for solo players, the Hag can take control of that hooked person, making a save near impossible. I understand that you find her unfun, her power annoying, and everything about her boring, but based on what I've told you about her weaknesses and strengths, I'm hoping to show that the reason a Hag has taken up this gameplay is because of the potential panicked mindset the Hag Player has. All Hags start off this way -- especially if they didn't look into how to play her first. Traps, although easy to understand -- place, procs, teleport, hit -- doesn't mean that webs are known/easily understood or that placing 2+ traps is inefficient.
In addition, the hook-pressure she has, only works if a survivor goes for the save. Camping only goes as far as a teammate's altruism goes. So, if you do as you did and let the hooked player die, she loses. Is it unfun? Yes. The Hag is a different gamestyle-kind of killer, so you won't see a lot of her. Personally, I've only seen 3 Hags in the last 2 months alone. This doesn't count my Hag games, of course. And to no surprise, only one of those three Hags placed Webs. This isn't an excuse to the gameplay, but I digress -- everyone is going to play their own way. If they're having fun, then in the end, that is what they'll focus on.
It's no surprise that Hags go into the game with MYC, but ruin? I don't know about that. Ruin is actually awful on her per my experience, so I don't ever use it. In fact, I'll take Devour Hope over Ruin any day. And Devour Hope relies on me getting hook-pressure.
Survivor items aren't trash -- toolboxes are definitely weaker than before, yes, but they're not useless. I actually prefer them this way, because I can get a gen with 13% or so progress left, done in a hot second (exaggeration of course, but I'm sure my point is clear). I've finished generators in the killer's faces before. Flashlights are still a powerful item in the game, especially for saves and distance, but against the Hag? That makes flashlights even more powerful, because they completely eliminate a Killer's power.
In addition, you point out that every Hag plays like that, but by listing the strengths/weaknesses, I've proved I am one of the Hag players who do not play like this. I know you likely wrote this out of frustration, so I understand, but not every Hag plays like that, and the more survivors don't reward that gamestyle, the more likely the gamestyle will lessen. I'm not saying it will rid of this strategy completely, but I am saying it potentially could.
Lastly, I know you likely wrote this to rant, so I apologize that this is so long of a response. I'm hoping you've calmed down and are still enjoying the game. Hags can be fun to play against, especially when you understand them. I suppose that's why I'm so biased. I understand her, know where her web is, know what she's likely to do, and how she'll do it. However, that is what makes this game, is it not? Learning and adjusting? Basic knowledge becoming adept knowledge.
Anywho, I'll stop with this already chapter-long post, and move on.
(the caps weren't made to exaggerate what I was saying. Certain points were put in caps to highlight them. I could've bolded, but honestly, capitals were way easier lmao)

I don't doubt that Clown is extremely capable as a killer, in the right hands. Otz proved that with his Ninja Clown video recently. It's just that for The [Killer] Problem, I'm taking a look at this from a neutral perspective and from the view of the "average" player, around the sort of Purple and Green ranks where a majority of the playerbase should be in.
Most people this is for are not going to be like you who devote time to one killer to learn all their nuance, and that was something a lot of people missed with The Hillbilly Problem. Your comment here is good though for those who are looking to improve their game with the Clown, and welcome advice for all!
Even with your way of playing him, though, I still think that all of his slows are indeed just too much against him. They do need to be lessened.

Next up is actually Legion and "balancing the unbalancable" with his power either being super annoying and somewhat strong, versus the second version which is considered one of the weakest killers in the game.
Hag will be an interesting one, but I'm going to focus on her kit encouraging what is described as an "unfavourable" playstyle with an overwhelming majority of players placing at least 3 traps at a hooked survivor, basically proxy-camping, rather than true map pressure.
Ahhh the worst hag style π’ but I understand. I play her very differently, overall. Hurts my soul seeing traps being placed inefficiently.

I genuinely appreciate the time you take to try and clearly convey a concise statement/debate/etc for all of us to read. I know there are people that won't take the time to read, but I have, and I wish I could give a nice conversation in regard to it -- but I have not played Clown. I am going to get him once I have shards (Mr Puddles being the only incentive lmao) so instead, I want to say this;
For those that have played Clown, or for those who have gone against him a lot (as even myself, I have only actually gone against him 30 or so times since I started playing. I started a month or so (roughly) after his release.) May have actually been closer toward Spirit's release, it's been a while. What I mean is, I don't understand him as well as some do, so take the time to read the post and give your feedback. Be genuine as well -- don't be a pain.
If you do a The Hag Problem, I will be all over that lmao.

Alright, firstly, I would like to say I am not coming off as rude, too-blunt, dismissive, etc. I am here to give you my opinion on this ^,^
I want to start off by saying why tunneling is a valid strategy. Tunneling is used to ensure pressure mid-game and EGC/end-game. Mid-game, 2 or less gens is what I consider mid-game/early late, you often need to tunnel someone dead in order to apply that significant amount of pressure. Four survivors are a lot to handle (using a lot loosely of course), when gens are close, getting close, or are getting done optimally. I tunnel someone in this scenario, because I need pressure, and three survivors are easier to juggle than four. I can apply more pressure on gens and the survivors, when I have one less to deal with. However, you lose pressure when you tunnel a first-hook survivor dead -- and I know killers do that, but I digress. In addition to applying pressure via tunneling this way, end-game/EGC tunneling is required to ensure your kill, especially when you don't have kills to begin with. In addition to that, you have a chance of hook-trading survivors, so that is immensely beneficial towards you as the killer.
I understand why tunneling can be frustrating. Especially when you're tunneled from first-to-dead hook. You don't get to play and lose pips/points/etc. However, this isn't reason enough to make BT basekit. BT is a strong perk, and rightfully so. As mentioned beforehand, the above tactics are viable tactics, and are tactics in which the killer has in their toolkit. Tools that they are and should be able to use as needed to apply pressure. BT can and will easily devoid the killer of that pressure by making the other player temporarily immune -- gives them an extra health state if you will. Having this basekit with no other changes will create problems. There's no maybe, no if -- it will create problems.
Every "meta" perk has potential to be abused. By abuse I mean the same that is done with current DS. People will have BT and the killer could leave them be, go after someone else, and the BT person comes and interrupts a potential down for the killer -- a down that wasn't even related to the BT person, wasn't a tunnel by no means. I'm not saying they shouldn't do it, it's a valid strategy. As survivor, I do it now with current BT.
Killers have to snowball in order to win, for the most part. Snowballing is, in a way, their only means to "counter" (using counter loosely here) the fast gen speeds -- and we know even with the changes recently made, that they are still fast. As Hag, I am GUARANTEED to lose two generators. I've gotten to the point where I'm not bothered by it, because I rely and have to, on snowballing.
Personally, some perks need to remain as perks, because of their insane value and potential. As well, I've always seen BT as more of a counter to camping than to tunneling -- always seen DS to be a tunneling counter. But that's just my view on it. I'm a firm believer in a change made to one side needs to be met/immediately followed by a similar change to the other side. Changes on one side can cause more imbalance, and right now, balance is key.

Clock of Doom.
I see it only when me or the others are experiencing lag. Happens a lot, and I mean a lot on Ps4. I see it red even and it just makes me cringe. My internet is fine. It only ever hiccups at random points in time. It doesn't ever lag. I have no issues on other games except for the internet crash I'll get from time to time.
But in all rantlessness, it indicates your ping. When it pops up, you're match is experiencing slight lag. When it turns red, you're stuttring/losing connection/the ping is really really high.

But wait if I am not getting a 4k every time there must be something wrong with the game...broken over powered perks, unfair survivor-sided maps, the devs hate killers you know and do everything they can to make it 100% unfair for us killers. They stay up late into the night just to come up with new ways to make it impossible to play. It can't be because I am trash...because no doubt I am a god-tier killer...I know this because...well the voices in my head tell me I am.
They speak to you too??

I only know Hag the best. I get her free through playstation. Would I recommend her? I want to, but I don't think I could unless you are willing to put in the time with her. It's so satisfying to teleport and smack, so satisfying to watch your web work beautifully. However, the time you take to setup will, almost guarantee a gen or two, sometimes even three. So it can be stressful. Personally, I ignore the gens. I focus on my traps and chases. I need to herd the survivors to my traps and if they leave or avoid them, then that chase no longer matters. She's 110 as well, so the whole experience can feel sluggish.
She's a ton of fun, for sure, and for me, she's not stressful. However, she will require a different attitude than what you're likely normally used to. I don't have Ghostface, but his gameplay looks fun. Deathslinger will require some practice, but he is a ton of fun even as you're practicing.
In addition, if you want to spend money, I suggest putting money in on the licensed killer, because the other two are obtainable via shards.
Just my thoughts on the matter <3 I am a Hag main, so I figured I could give ya some insight on her. She is the least picked killer, and for a nearly similar reason. She takes time. She can be infuriating to the point where there is no reward. In contrast, she can be sooo rewarding when she works. She relies on a strong web and efficient trap placement. Haha, I often refer to her as a off-brand nurse because of her ability to teleport.

The concept was to change toolboxes to be tactical rather than strategic. I used a "Toolbox" (the yellow one) the other day on a gen while working with a 2nd Survivor as the Killer approached. It saved us a few seconds. The Killer hit me, I ran off, then he hit the other Survivor about 0.5 seconds after she got the gen done. Without the toolbox, we would not have gotten the gen done, and it's likely we would have lost a lot of progress due to a PGtW kick. With one of the old-style toolboxes, the time saved during the Killer's approach wouldn't have been enough, either.
So the new toolboxes, while an overall nerf (they save less net time), have enabled a new set of possible plays.
Had something like this happen in a game as well. I find the change a welcome, because I need to be more tactical with it instead of blindly using it to shave off so many seconds off a gen.

I second this statement. Perk variety please! Include the recent added statuses, or make something entirely new.
Like here, for example:
None Shall Survive; you have a dark and twisted connection with the entity, driving you to ensure the kill. Once a survivor has been hooked twice, they become moriable. Only 1/1/2 survivors per match.
- New Status Effect: Demise
This perk still requires you to down and hook survivors. Essentially, it rewards the killer for hooking and it'll encourage hooking and less snowballing into slugging. Of course it can use tweaks, but you don't have to make more gen perks and then turn around and nerf them later or allow them to become part of the dust collection beside monstrous shrine. Just a penny for your thought.
Appreciate you bring this up! I am curious what everyone else will think π€

You would hate me if you got matched against me. I sometimes put all 10 of my traps around a hooked survivor and just sit back and laugh when I hear the repeated screaming.
Omg... that sounds flipping hilarious o,o but it would hurt me too much to do that lmao

Rarest for me is between hag and nurse. Hag being rarer usually.

For me it's Hag and I'm glad, cause the few Hags I go against are those who put 3 traps around a trapped survivor.
Second place is probably Bubba and Nurse
That hurts my soul e.o why waste traps like that??

I'll pick you up and hook ya if you meme with me π
I'll play by the rules if you follow my big book of need to do and what not to do π

Am a lady and am so glad there are other ladies out there playing too! Am not alone even though when I play Ark there's like no ladies playing.

When you try to break totems as killer...
When you look for scratches from your allies as survivor...
When you constantly say that's so taahxic to your friends in a sarcastic playful manner...
Bloody bamboozled again...
When you write fanfictions.. well when you write nothing BUT fanfictions... like seriously, I need different material ππ
When you wake up and immediately want to get on to play... yes I have no life, no I don't really want one...
When dbd takes over your dreams... no Kazan I will not play uno with you again...
When your bad drawing seems ok for once but it's dbd related so it's like "I just got off man, get out of here"...
When you start to say I will get you and I will Mori you to your annoying siblings and yes I will use ghostface's mori, think I won't...
When other games seem empty without the hooks, like since when was dbd the only game with hooks...
When dbd wins the "what should I play" game every single time...
When you tell your family you're a booper not a looper... yes I have done this, no I will not stop and yes I will die for the boops...
When you won't stop quoting dbd animations to anyone that'll listen "what do you want for Christmas?" ... "a knife :3" (if you know it, you know it π)
The messed up part is... I should be disappointed in myself, but i just can't stop laughing ππ

Ahh I see i see

Disregard this comment I just saw the other PS4 report above lol

It's immensely useful. Especially with the main building. If you don't remove a wall up there, you will Have to vault it, giving the survivor enough time to go around three times then they switch to the other window that has a drop, which would be the only one with counter if and only if the walls remain untouched. At least, this is what I have observed since it came out.

Then the same logic could apply to 50 seconds. Just hide when killer comes.... Stop justifying stupid change with no good reason.
Unless I misinterpreted the meaning behind your words, which is also a huge possibility e.o if so, I apologize

I'm not saying anything about change nor did I imply a change needed to be reverted. I was just stating a counter argument to the common one I saw. I don't use remember me, thus I feel my opinion wouldn't have a strong understanding of how they feel and why they feel the way they do.
If it seems like I came off that way, it wasn't my intent. I was using my experience to justify my own point that counters one I disagreed with.

I'm seeing a lot of "That survivor is screwed anyway, even if 30 or 50" but this is false...
Ive gotten out many a time, just as much as I've gotten found and killed. When gates are closed together, hope the killer is 110 and be good at hiding. Oh and it's not Billy or spirit or wraith with addons. It's not over till it's over.
I do understand how it can feel like you're screwed. Just remember, the killer has to go back and forth between the gates. Time it just right and you can get it open before the killer gets back. This tactic works on most killers, not all.
Especially when gates are on opposite ends of a large map. There's no way the killer gets back in time.
-
Hag is my girl. I go to her when other games make me wanna get off and take a break. I picked her up, learned her, and have played her since I started.
I play mostly; billy, hag, wraith, plague, spirit, trapper and every now and then I'll do legion. But hag was my girl when I first started and she'll be my girl when I finish.

Solo can be bad. Sometimes, it definitely feels like it's as bad as killer. I play both and here lately, have started doing 2 man swf, but most days and nights I am solo or at least solo for a few hours. I have no life, so I play a lot.
Granted a lot of our perks, survivors, can help us out, I still see how solo can be a bad experience. I know firsthand how annoying it is to watch a crouching player without urban or even with and the killer is long gone and not hag. Or someone on the other side of the map or someone saving before the killer leaves and doesn't have borrowed and doesn't even take the hit. Hook trading is only really useful endgame. It gives the killer way too much pressure early game. The self carers in a corner annoy me too. Healing is fine, but why so far away from the objectives? And if the obsession is getting chased, then make your way to the hooked survivor. Especially if your closer... I've gone to stage two because of players doing that specifically there's a lot of crap solos have to deal with which can create a lot of the frustrations we see. I've even done a few of the mentioned things above on accident.
I try to think "okay... they're just being cautious, it's fine" hits stage two "it's alright they're rank 20..." red rank "it's fine, rank doesn't matter..." sees another get down instantly at a long wall "they're new..." sees someone gets instantly saved "they got borrowed" saved person goes down three seconds later "it's time to be four in one. Gen I'll brb." Goes down after getting chased for 30 seconds "okay my gen and another should go off" remembers one person was self caring "oh come on, why are you in a corner!" Sees the other working on a gen "yesh that should finish by the time I'm off." Gets saved, gen doesn't finish, gets in a chase, goes toward shack "......." queue the long no scene
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO" Now queue the song
"When you try your best but you don't succeeeed."
Essentially, I try to make a meme out of it while still trying. Getting mad over it or frustrated ruins the experience and I'd rather laugh. I do the same with killer. Tbaggers At the gate get moonwalks and nods, camping killers get jumping jacks and tunnelers get head bobs. I'm not here to get angy, I here to have fun lol

JASON
JEEPERS CREEPERS
IT
MINOTAUR
FRANKENSTEIN
VAN HELSING
TERMINATOR :')))
Uhh that's all I can think of at the moment. I desperately want JASON added though. He'd be such a great fit for this game.
Just woke up to be discussing powers for each but for a quick sum up, I want their powers to be similar or on point with their abilities in the movies.

It can only be abuseable if the killer refuses to break those walls. I know because I looped the main building with a spirit for 3 gens (she would break off then come back) she only really contested the gen I was on but she also refused to break the walls until that third gen popped. Then she broke all of them on the top and the ones on the bottom. I tested it's viability and it can be looped still, but she has more options to counter rotate, mindgame, and ultimately make distance. She caught me till I diededthat round. I think new map is fine. Everyone just needs to learn it and understand when tiebreak walls, when to leave chase, and when to admire the beauty of the map.
-
I need practice with him before I make that judgement. I am bad with him right now so of course my games are going poorly.

You have Feng (my main), Yui (the other one I play a lot), and Jake, plus the Spirit and Oni as killers not like the game is lacking a good number of Asians at this point. Game just did get someone from the Middle East by the way of Brooklyn. Maybe can add a Jinn as a killer?
