Go read The Clown Problem then. Unfortunately, I didn't touch up on the screen blur, but that's because it's one of the few things really going for him.

I don't play him to give feedback other than my personal frustrations going against him. That, to me, isn't enough to give a reasonable counter argument or an understanding agreement. But thanks for telling me so I could have the chance to post if I wished to ^^

With the exception of the Clown, The [Killer] Problem is mainly to look at the "average" player, so somewhere around mid-purle. Knowledgeable about the game, but has probably only got red skills in one area of the game, for me that's stealth, and how certain killers are problematic.

Clown affects all ranks, because there are just too many problems, and (when I get to them) the Ghostface/Wraith ones will tend to slip into lower ranks because of a noob/playerbase specific problem.

Oh clown lol that killer. I know he isn't a top tier killer, but I haven't learned the best counter to him, like effectively, and it can get annoying at times. I'm like "eeeek stop making my screen all fuzzy! Already have trouble seeing!"

It was just a clarity thing. As for your points, they are better thought out than everyone else's "arguments" on this thread.

For me though, a lot of them are based around player and survivor skill. Something that I was trying to avoid mentioning, and probably failed.

I understand. When you look at it from the average survivor/killer, it can be a different story. This is because of the skill differences between high and low or veteran and new players. Your average player isn't going to fully understand the looping/position/etc, this goes for both sides. The killer won't necessarily understand what he or she is doing, just that the pallet is their enemy and it's breakable, which is why so many unsafe pallets are broken via an average killer. Billy's add-ons also enable that ability to just do as @ClickyClicky states; run around instadowning until you get the 4k. This normally only goes for those add-ons though. Ive noticed we can all agree his addons are the problem.

I feel we do need to take in account of player skill when analyzing these killers. Not necessarily as our main catalyst or how we view it specifically, but it does need to linger in the back of our mind. Billy is strong, rather can be strong in EITHER the right hands OR his addons. At least, this how I see him. I consider myself an average Billy, despite being a partial main, and I can account for several losses e.o *shivers* them some dark days. Some where I made many mistakes, didn't apply pressure, or it was just out of my control.

Also, for everyone, if a player isn't contributing, just pay them no mind. You'll honestly get a headache trying to have them give their pov instead of being blatant. This is towards both sides. Where there's a debate, continue the debate, as long as it has standing ^,^ and by standing I mean an actual intellectual counterpoint, not just blatantly arguing or leaving no room for discussion.

Red survivor, not versing them as killer. I've generally taken a break from specifically because of matchmaking.

My first Hillbilly game was against full-toxic purples, as a low green. THEN went to destroy other greens.

It's just the way I see it, if we want to go on about "skill" and "learning a killer" I'd say as a guess, an hour in Billy is roughly worth 3 on Spirit and about 10 on Nurse.

That's understandable because of the notable difference in skill between those three killers. But that wasn't my only point in my comment. I was giving a counter to your points, I tried to bring them all up and when I mentioned your rank as killer, I wanted to see how often you used him and what the survivors are like. You say it takes now skill, I was saying it does, in a gist of things.

But I am not here to just blatantly argue, nor do I want to come off as doing so. I'm a lover of Billy, and I feel I have played him and versed him enough to give my opinion about him. Not saying you weren't allowing me to do so, just me rambling.

Now bear with me here and you'll see I ain't lion. These ideas will...uhh...tiger shark your mind!

Anyways I scanned the stars and moon for these answers and it dawned upon me. Three ideas. Actually just the number 3.

That's right, three! There are three pretty much everywhere. Three health states. Three types of vaults. Three hooks states. Three original killers. Three gens popped at the beginning of a match. But four survivors *screeching noise*

In order to bring balance BACK to DBD I propose a 4th option in response to this 4th survivor. The fourth horseman as you will.

The fourth health state....purgatory. You can teabag in hell Nancy.

The fourth vault. Fast, mid, slow, and crippled old man slumping over half dead. Somewhat specific but I think it works.

Of course we'd need three MORE types of pallets and hooks.

There would be useless stick, old shelf, and motherBLOOPing bookcase to add to the pallet roster.

Then there would be gentle hook (killing you softly), "meat" hook for when you pick up the survivor from the wrong end, and obvious evil spider claw.

Baseless speculation? Or am I onto something here?

  • Partial Billy Main here. Wanna clear up first; not the best killer, got lots to learn, rank 10 atm, have reached purple (cause ranks like matter yknow?? No? Ok ok I'll move on)

Is Billy, or at least Insta saw Billy insane? Needs a change? Lack skill? What about the average Billy? What about Millies? Is Billy easier to learn in general? Take more or less skill than Nurse or Spirit?

Insta-saw Billy could use some changing. There is a notable difference with those add-ons and ofc they are my favorite add-ons. In my opinion, there is also a notable difference in skill with these add-ons versus without.

Average Billy without these add-ons (really just including the insta add-ons for the most part) is, in my opinion, one of the most balanced killers in the game, aside from maybe huntress and demo. Again my opinion. I feel Billy's basekit is counterable by more than just loops. Even out in the open, you can out maneuver a chainsaw, despite a 5m distance. I know it, because I have both done it and have had it done to me. Billy isn't like bubba where position is immensely important. It matters yes, but it doesn't tremendously hurt you. Granted, a solid Billy is likely to compensate for his mistake and go again or just M1 you. The point is, without the add-ons, his kit is solid and pretty balanced.

Millies don't need a change, they just need to practice. Unless they're meming.

You mention the ratings given to each killer, but I feel those are misjudged/misperceived. Hag is labeled as intermidiate, but I find her to actually belong in the difficult rating. She is quite different and requires a different strategic setup from the others. Unless you compare her to trapper, directly, then she Should be easy, yea? I'm not hating on your ratings, don't worry <3 just explaining my side and how I view those ratings ^,^

You mention that Billyboi is the strongest killer in game... He is definitely frightening in the right hands, but he is not the strongest killer. His one hit down and Bubna's are "similar". So does that make Bubba strong too? Both require certain niche situations, but Billy can still be countered, even in his niche (otherwise known as the open range or out of position). As I mentioned above, you can out maneuver a non Insta Billyboi.

Now. Skill. Does Billy require skill. In contrast to Nurse or Spirit there is significantly less area or gap for a Billy. Howeber. This does not exclude the fact that he does require skill in order to play. Especially a regular billy. His chainsaw is in itself, without addons, his skill. Your timing, movement, predictions; all matter when versing most optimal survivors. Of course nurse requires more, she has her drawbacks with huge reward if played well. So does Billy. Granted he is straightforward, but that doesn't eliminate his skill. I didn't get him immediately, and I started him after playing just hag up until rank 13. (This is when I first started killer, not anytime recently) yes, he can be an immediate grab for some, but he isn't for everyone and he does require skill on some level.

Camping and tunneling Bullies are strange and can feel so crappy, but I am among the people who understands it can be a strategic method, even when it's used on me. When it happens and there's room for it, do what you can to outplay the killer. Not saying that's the only way to handle it, just saying when there's room for it. Not all campers, including Billy and the best camper, Bubba, are unbeatable. They're overzealous chainsaws, eagerness to smack survivors, need to try and hook grab, are all things in which your ally can make a play between. And if you know what your opponent is doing (ie the leaving and coming back for a tunnel or for a camp), time it or wait a few seconds before saving immediately.

You say there's a problem with the lack of skill with high reward. This is due to how you feel about Billy. A lot of players, not saying all, have changed their opinions because of how many Billies theyve gone against. Before nurse and spirits changes, you would see so many of that killer every match and it got frustrating. Same thing goes with new Freddy now. Opinions change the more frustrations grow. It gets boring or tedious going against the same killer over and over, so it creates those same frustrations, which causes complaints. Im sure a lot of the people now who say Billy needs a change (NOT including you or every single person) are likely people who also found him to be balance like myself and others. I remember hearing from so many people via comments, forums, etc, on how common "billy is balanced, just fix insta saw" "billy is balanced" etc before this overpopulation of Billies.

You said you have played him and you are in green ranks. You said he was easy and you are against red ranks seeing you are in console like myself. You finding no survivors trying to not outplay you? In my opinion, a killers ability to kill shouldn't be based solely on survivors who offer no potential outplay.

Sadly though, because he is in the hatelight, so to speak, there is a HIGH chance they will look at him, if nothing else. Considering his standing with so many people, survivors and killers alike, if they change him immensely, there will be more annoyed people than we already have. Of course this is just speculation.

Just my input on the matter. I play killers in variety on who I own and again, not ze best killer around, still got lots to learn. I do, however, play a lot of Billy.

Well go figure why, doctor has/d a lackluster power which did not help him really in chases or to an amount that it is really viable which probably is the reason why I didn't see a single doc for months.

His power was so bad that even when he used it, there was an empty field in front of him so he would miss because reasons i guess. Also the fact that in order to prevent a vault, the survivor could not be locked in animation so when the shock arrives a little bit too late, survivor will scream during the vault but can still vault. Will see how things are now that he doesnt need to switch stances anymore.

Docs power is/was very addon dependant, like you could have completely diffrent effects depending on the addons used.

Compare that to billy, even when the player is not able to play with the power he will is able (on certain maps) to traverse the map and have map pressure, something every killer needs badly. His addons are quite straightforward. Simple&Good.

Trapper is labeled as easy too but i doubt that noobs are able to perform well with him. In order to perform well with trapper, you need to have a strategy, deny loops etc.. how should a noob know that?

Also the ratings (easy/intermediate/hard) do not really express mechanical skill required in order to play the killer but rather to learn to use the power effectively.

Oh and if you think billy is easy to learn, just pick him up, this also something i always do recommend for people who struggle against a certain killer. Play the killer and see what other people do against you because sooner or later you will find people that can play well against him (might take a while with the amount of potatoes).

  • Whoa whoa whoa whoaaaa

My girl out boolying peeps, hold on there one minute o.o

Well I assure you, this Feng Min main isn't gonna booly you <3

  • First things first, I am a rank 3 survivor (I feel like I do not belong in red ranks; I am practically carried by the team -- of course I can loop almost efficiently, and would say I am more a rank 4, 5, or 6 survivor to a degree, like I'm not a consistent rank 3) and a rank 10 (reached purple ranks last year before taking a hiatus, I has a LOT to learn as killer)

    What I don't do;

    • Bring in toolboxes if there's two or more toolboxes in the group
    • SWF (I am actually hindered with communication, I have solo-queued almost my ENTIRE gameplay life, so it's actually alien to me to have to speak, which makes my allies angry with me *insert totes sad face here*....I'm sorry >.>)
    • Flashlight blind (I'm that survivor who brings a spooky flashlight just to see the ghost... leave me be)
    • Moris (ONLY for dailies and I only bring a ivory or that crappy yerrow(yes I'm aware it's misspelled <3))
    • Use cheap tactics OR newly discovered techs (granted I don't know how to do them, but I also know what it's like to have it done to me, soo NO thank you :P)
    • Hard camp/tunnel (unless all gens have been powered and I need to secure a kill)
    • Act or behave in a toxic way
    • Bring in a yellow or better medkit (sometimes I will, depending on the build, but 9 times out of 10, it's a brown medkit)
    • Keys... (green doesn't count right? o.o) (also have brought keys to do the four times escape ting, but actually only needed to use them one time out of the 4)
    • Immersion diversion life (I'm a Feng Min wearing my uber bright red outfit. I can't hide lmao)
    • 360 (can't even if I tried... and I'm on console. I'm not talented D:)
    • Leave peeps behind (I do everything in my power to get someone out... even against noed or Bubba)
    • Use Self-care ("uses fingers to create a 'cross'" STAY BACK, I'M WARNING YA!)
    • Stick to one chase too long (I drop chase if I know the survivor is one of the stronger links of the team)

OKAY OKAY Now, with all of that out of the way, and now you have a better understanding of my gameplay and game style, I can give you my personal opinion on the gen speeds, the health, and all that good jazziness. This is going to be based on my estimations and experience and won't be 100% accurate. I don't have it recorded or written down for ya.

As a survivor, I have escaped, roughly, 6 times out of 10. Out of those six times, 4 or 5 was a four man escape. Almost every single match I have played since matchmaking has become a problem, I was paired with other red ranks, rarely, believe it or not, was I paired with rank 1's (this is only including the survivors I am paired with). In addition, 8 or 9 times out of 10, I am paired with a rank 8 or HIGHER killer, going as high as rank 14. When I am paired with a red rank killer, it's more often than not, a rank 1 or 2 killer.

My fastest games can be 5 minutes (of course there's always that outlier or two in the mix, but I'm including the consistent ones) and my longest games have been 8 or 9 minutes (again not including the outliers). The five minute games often end with the killer getting one or two hooks. The second is often gotten right as the last gen is powered, so they end up camping to secure the kill at that point. The gens can go so fast, to put it simply. One survivor will be chased by the killer while I am working with one other or by myself on a gen. Almost always, two gens pop by the time a; the killer gets that survivor down, b; the killer injures the survivor (this often created a bloody deadzone DD:) or c; broke chase to pressure one of us and either found me or found one of the other survivors. During my eight or nine minute games, the mere difference is the pressure the killer puts on us. Instead of two gens one hook, it's one gen, one or two hooks. These games are often with a; doctor, spirit, billy, freddy, GF, huntress (VERY dependent on the Huntress) or yes, even Bubba (I don't know what it is, but some red rank survivors against Bubba fail to realize the safety they're more often in... POSITION IS IMPORTANT .-. but but but this is my opinion, don't take my word for it and I'm getting off track), sometimes, less often; clown, demo (demo is only less because I see him way less often .__. #DEMOLOVER!), hag (very rarely do I go against a solid hag), or Nurse (I am on Console, so she doesn't always have the most promising results).

These killers I've mentioned only get solid hooks early-mid game if the map allows them, too, so even if they're those killers, the map makes a world of a difference. Gens can still go by fast even if you've got one slugged and one hooked. Because while those two are preoccupied, the killer still has to find and/or chase the third potential survivor, and the fourth is likely finishing up or would have already finished a gen -- ultimately having the choice to leave their second and save or work on the second gen. This doesn't even account for perks that survivors or killers can have. I'm often opting out of getting healed and just doing the generator, so if I'm the hooked or slugged survivor (unless it be Oni), I don't heal when saved or healed to injured state -- I immediately get on the gen. Nearly every time, the same can be said about the survivor if I'm rescuing the hooked/healing the slugged. All three of us can easily reset as well, making all of that progress null and void. If two or three of us end up getting on the same gen, I leave. More often than not, I actually pressure a gen near the killer who is chasing. (I will admit... many times I've been caught and was chased instead, even when and if I'm fully healed...#KillerMagnetForTheWin<3)

I play this game to get chased. I love learning new styles, being forced to learn new things, because it gets my heart pumping. This goes for both roles, actually. I do the gens as survivor, because if I'm not getting chased, I have nothing else to do. I cleanse totems near that gen and cleanse them on the way (if I see them) to other gens. I mean who leaves 1k or 1.5k bp just lying around, man? That stuff ain't cheap! When I said I pressure gens near the killer and chased survivor, I do it because I want to be chased. The speed of the game goes by too fast for me to often get a chase. I'll admit, I shy away if there's rancor, noed, mori, etc, but if I have power of removing one of those (no-ed) or have no fear of it (mori, because I hadn't been hooked), then I'll be more than happy to get chased and/or be a martyr for the team.

Snowballing is one of the few ways a Killer can win now. If my team is too altruistic, then the killer will likely get a snowball. I can't tell ya how many times I'm the last one standing because of this. And quite often, I'm found and killed, but even in that amount of being found and killed, I reset everyone, too. The killer can't be everywhere at once. It's impossible (not saying they should be everywhere at once, by the by... don't hurt me plz o.o) to watch over your slugs and/or hooks and find the remaining survivors or last survivor in the match. Snowball is why I see so many billies, spirits, and ghostfaces. They, out of my games, at least, have had the HIGHEST snowball potential/rate when I versed them.

However... even snowballs are boring, because they, too, are essentially, fast/immediate. As killer, trust me, they feel good, especially if the snowball follows after a few scenarios, but it doesn't give you the main experience that you wanted when playing as either role. That experience, for me, is the chase. The game's speed often leaves little room or time for those chases, but I also know, there's not a whole lot of adjusting that can be done in order to make it feasible, without reworking the entire game. This game is designed around RNG for the most part -- and it's, quote-on-quote, inconsistent endings is what drives people to play, even in 8 or 9 minute games. But if the end result becomes consistent, it'll lose that favored (love/hate relationship in other words) trait, making it less and less fun and more and more boring.

I've played less killer, solely because of the fact that it is often the same result each time. I'm paired against me, essentially, as killer. Rank 10 versus red ranks. Yes, I understand rank doesn't mean skill, but rank DOES have a curve more often than not. You can tell the difference in many situations. When I have played killer, I can tell you what ranks I'm going against after versing each survivor once, for the most part. There's definitely a difference between a red and green and brown and so on. (Purples are like a grey area though, I almost never see a purple rank survivor o.o Dunno if this is just me, though.)

Like just yesterday, I went against a scary solid Hillbilly on the farm map with the barn, and he had me wary of the sound his chainsaw made. In the beginning, he was dropping chases and applying pressure over all of us, but eventually, he needed to dedicate to one survivor. That survivor costed him the third and fourth gen. He actually had the survivor he was chasing down at the Cowtree. Right as he hit the survivor, my gen (the fourth one) and the other (third one) popped nearly at the same time. I won't lie, my heart sank, watching him back away from the slug and standing there. I thought he was going to DC. I even stood in front of the man a few times, hoping to start a chase with him, but he stayed there. I didn't message him after, so there's a chance something came up irl, but the timing, I don't know. I just knew how he felt.

Personally, the game and gens go by fast. I could've just said this and went on my marry way, but I felt I needed to explain why I feel this way.

Of course none of it would be a problem if they just added me as the Donut Killer into the game ,-. I'd devour everyone, man, lemme be the DONUT KILLWER! Tanks for reading though, especially if you read all of it rotfl <3

  • O RI GIN AL

But that's what I'd like, not necessarily what I'd want.

    Hahaha love the humor <33

  • The Donut will win. Donut must DEVOUR all before being devoured.

Realistically-ish, in the sense that: basing solely on powers, strengths, and weaknesses (also is imo and there is some sliiight bias):

    - First group ded; hag (.-.), piggy, legion, doctor, clown, trapper

    - Second group ded; Mikey, Plague, ghostface, wraith, fredboi

    - Third group ded; bubba, nurse, spirit

    - Finalists; oni, demodog, billyboi, huntress

Demodoggo will be easily defeated by oni or Billy and could put up a fight with huntress, however, she doesn't need to be up close and personal as Demo, so she has that advantage.

Huntress's weakness is refilling hatchets, in which can hinder her from evading a demon dash or a chainsaw.

Oni would technically be defeated by Billy, because even if he can practically keep up with Billy, his power is hindered by blood, and if he can never, hypothetically, get an attack on Billy, he would eventually become like the rest of the killers. The only reason he gets so far is because of the early defeated killers like hag, legion, etc. Billy only has a mild slowdown after missing a chainsaw, but can often recover quickly. He'd easily go around the map until he tagged ole Oni.

Of course this isn't based on the killers themself.

The killers that are already dead; spirit, nurse, oni, hag (kinda), freddy, wraith (kinda), plague, and piggy can't be necessarily killed again.

    But that's how I picture it. πŸ˜‹

  • Some of my stories are just better left unheard of >.>

  • Couple questions;

Do I have to have teammates to bring with me or will the teams be randomized?

Am I going to need to be able to talk in a party chat? (fine with me but checking in the event of)

Are certain items/add-ons/killers/etc going to be kept out?

What rules will be set in place if any?

This is meant for just fun, right? Thus what will be okay and won't be okay? <-- kinda correlates to the rules question

I would like to join, but am unable to, so instead, I'll just ask some questions so people can has answers to ^,^ Would love to see this tourney though, even if I can't play!

Also just realized this was kinda old of a post lmao, if this has already happened, feel free to ignore meee

  • It's that whole tile there. You can tell based on how the cracks are that surround the building. It's still fun to crouch in it or down a survivor in it, because it looks so derpy, but it can be detrimental in more ways than one

  • Toxicity is characterized, in this game, by several different actions:

    1. Constant T-bagging - after dropping a pallet, at the exit gates, doing the hook tech, god window
    2. Clicking flashlights at the killer - after getting a survivor saved, dropping a pallet, god window
    3. Pointing - after dropping a pallet, at the exit gates, god window
    4. Hook bombing Sucessfully - two or more survivors bomb the hook, ultimately getting the survivor out
    5. Bodyblocking - self explanatory
    6. Camping - camping early match, mid-match, even post-match...
    7. Tunneling - tunneling early match, mid-match, and post-match
    8. Nodding - after downing a survivor, hitting a survivor, downing a survivor through the pallet
    9. Slashing - slashing a survivor who is on the hook
    10. Builds:
    • Basement Build - often played by: trapper/bubba
    • Gen-slowdown Build - often only when used on spirit, nurse, billy
    • Meta Build - consists of: adrenaline, DS, DeadHard/HeadOn/BL/SB, IronWill/SC/ProveThyself/OoO/Other
    • Other - Fast vaulting build, SpineChill/Prem build, other??
    • Object of Obsession in general
    • DS in general

However, is everything listed above actually toxic? To some, more than half of these things are, and to be fair, some are used in toxic manners. Perception is what guides us to find something toxic. Toxicity derives from the feeling of being bullied, essentially toxic players are players that bully. So, if you feel bullied, you characterize the bully as a toxic person, thus their action or actions are toxic, BM, etc. I do my hardest to be as non-toxic as possible; killer or survivor. Sometimes, though, I am still called out as though I did just that. I'm a killer/survivor player and get more hate from survivor players than I do from killer players. This doesn't mean killers are more mature or anything, it just means that as a player with very little power, being "oppressed" by a player with more power can feel, in itself, like being bullied.

That's why so many killer actions can be taken as toxic behavior. Camping and tunneling are both strategic, albeit unfun, methods in getting the game in their favor. As is "tbagging" to get the killer to chase you, instead of getting your weaker teammates. Everything above that is perceived as toxic can also be perceived as respectful to a point. Before, when I "tbagged" I did it as an attempt to say GG. Then I moved on to pointing, before ultimately just staying crouched, head bowed, at the killer, because everything else has been given such a distasteful reputation, that doing it could just make you appear toxic.

As killer, I only nod when I outplay the survivor. I do NOT do it in an attempt to belittle them. Of course, I've had survivors do one of two things via messages: "gg, well played" or "baby killer, 'perkname' saved your butt" in response to the nod or to other actions within the match. Very little do I smack someone on the hook. I only do it when they farmed their teammate or remained unuseful throughout the match, looking only for the hatch. Actions or builds are only as toxic as you make it.

It can be a challenge, especially if you feel bullied and feel like you lack the power to be in control, but in reality, remember it's a game, and just move on. Me: tbaggers, I either ignore them or jokingly say aloud "aww no, why the tbag doe. I be nice killwer D:". This game's design is flawed, and leaves room for power to be shifted too much into one corner, and that can lead to frustrations. You may have a survivor who genuinely only wants to ruin your day, but on the other side of the spectrum, you have a survivor who is just having a bad day/match, and don't even mean half the things they say.

Like, I can't tell you how many times I've had a frustrated and angry survivor or a troll completely change their attitude when I kill 'em with kindness. Some people just want to get a rise out of ya. Win the potential battle before it starts by not stooping to their level. At some point in our lives, we grow up. At least... I would like to think that will happen for all of us, so with that in mind, if you were the bigger person, you grow a little more and you'll either look back on it and be proud, be ashamed, or you won't even remember it at all.

Survivors are going to tbag, killers are going to nod, just don't let it bother you.

And if it does,I'll get ya a punching bag to let out your frustrations.

Now.... with all that seriousness out of the way. Lemme be the donut killer so I can devour everyone before they devour me, plz and thank you.

  • Real Money: Spent zero so far (even got the game free when it was free on console). However, I am still, always will be, leaning towards buying Halloween Chapter and Strangers Things.

    Shards: Spirit, Plague, and Oni

  • Who do I NOT wanna see added to the game? If I had my way, I'd ask for only original killers, because then I can buy them with shards instead of real monies.

However. Given that I don't have my way, the only licensed killer I wouldn't want is... I genuinely can't think of any... if they were added, the devs's creativity would make them such a fascinating addition to the game. I mean sure, there's debatable stuffs, (leave Bubba and old Freddy alone... they just trying to live.. trying to be dead? Idk) but like it'd be a cool concept to have this tiny doll running around with a Myer's kitchen knife or this krampus killer running around placing survivors in snow globes or a xenomorph jumping off of the wall of a loop or staying on it, catching a survivor with it's tail, or a predator being invisible... the list goes on. I'm honestly up for whatever surprise they throw.

Although, I would prefer one license killer after two originals or something like. Some of us wanna actually enjoy the new content!!! O,O

  • As survivor; doesn't matter I am the killer magnet. I can be dressed as an innocent little raven bird, cawing around and the killer would still chase me ._.

As killer; I don't like to tunnel anyone, however, if I was caught in a situation where two injured survivors were in front of me; one is Claudette and the other is anyone else, it'd be Claudette. Girls, I am already blind! Don't hide in the corn or the reeds anymore pleaseeee!! Love ya though <3

  • Killer: Myers, Demo, or Ghosty boy. I'm a fangirl and wanna meet them. Screw the consequences ;DD haha sorry not sorry <3

Survivor: Feng, because I wanna meet this girl in real life. She and I would very likely get along really well.

Third option; I wanna go to the entity's realm as the donut killer, plz and thank you.

I WILL DEVOUR YOU ALL BEFORE YOU CAN DEVOUR MEEEEEEEE.....

    again not sorry >.>

  • That moment you would prefer a non licensed ._. They're all cool, but I don't just have money lying around to get all of these dlc killers/survivors/perks

I'm really suprised that severs allowed you to get a grab in that first clip. From my experience servers deny about 60% of my grabs no matter how close I was.

Same it is so bad on console

That's just the nature of dedicated servers. It's quite literally impossible to eliminate those issues completely, especially with all the people playing on VPNs. It's just a byproduct of latency.

Completely would be the target, naturally, but toning down the issues enough for viability would suffice. Personally, I would like to see the issues disappear, but not everything can be done perfectly, sadly. If anything, I'd be okay with it toned down, only happening rarely. Would be a bad thing to say as it can be received as "sweeping it under the rug", but if the issues are that problematic that they are near impossible to completely fix, I'll settle for toned down. Toned down a lot, mind you, but toned down nevertheless.

  • As survivor, I was playing Feng. I was injured with NO IW on. (I have plans to get it, but Jake and I gotta talk first) and throughout the match (I don't run SC or IS, so I usually stay injured until I find someone to heal me or someone finds me) I would be crying pain sometimes, then the rest, most often, I had zero noise, it was like I had IW. I play on console, and haven't had nearly as many sound issues until recently. Had the same issue with gens from both sides. As killer I have lost many peeps due to ze sounds, but half the time it was IW (ofc I checked postgame, silly)

Just what I gathered from playing both sides this past week alone.

I'm relatively new, about a month and a half in. So far I'm liking the game, although I feel that some of the rift challenges are a little too difficult to where I probably wont even bother attempting them. I mostly main the trapper or the doctor and have been having fun doing so, although I am sick of people sitting at the exit teabagging for fricking ever. You won, just go out the damn exit so we can get on with our lives. I wish that the props system actually did something so that people who play well could get rewarded and immature dickbags could get called out. Same goes for killers that camp. I've all but given up on playing survivor. No matter what I'm the first one dead and I'm of the mind that if I cant succeed might as well give the hell up. So you'll probably only ever see me play killer from now on, which is kind of a bummer since I like unlocking the bits of lore and theres a whole bunch I will now never be able to get. Oh well.

Oh there will always be a round, early ranks, mostly, where you will get that camper or tunneller. Just like you will always get a survivor or two tbagging at the gate. Me, I don't tbag, instead I sit at the gate, and let them kill me out, thats more points for them and I am happy to oblige. Its frustrating, but you won't always have those games. It'll be like finding a needle in a haystack sometimes, but eventually, you'll find yourself playing skilled games, where it is alll about that chase. Just gotta keep working at it <3 I like the suggestions. Unfortunately, camping/tunnelling is a strategy and I don't they will mess with it too much. Same with tbagging, because you can simply chase them out. Personally, I like to moonwalk. "Hun, yall went through gens and I was bad with my chases. Your tbags aint nothing. Watch me moonwalk!" Sure it has to look sooo derpy with Hag or Billy but oh well!! Just keep trying, if you wanna play survivor. Some people do just prefer one side at the end of the day <3

He has as much issue with matchmaking as anyone, but he usually takes it really well. Even though he'd rather play evenly-matched games, he believes that you get better at a game faster by being forced to play against more skilled opponents, so he sees bad matchmaking in retrospect as an opportunity to improve his skills. And finding out that his opponents were much higher ranked than him makes him feel better about the loss.

That is completely understandable. I know to some degree, ranks don't matter, but at levels of ranks, you can see a notable difference in skill. Its nice seeing he has a calm attitude and doesn't let ranks drive him up the wall. We all get frustrated, but taking it in stride is good ^,^

  • Been playing since before Spirit or Clown? I was playing a month or less before whichever one is the earlier of the two. I originally played survivor.

When I played killer.... I was playing at a time where matchmaking wasn't bad lime now, so I had the chance to learn against people my rank. Of course, I ranked up quickly, because the survivors didn't know what they were doing. I started with Hag. Once I started getting into purple however, it started becoming a challenge. I had to watch videos when I felt I was getting nowhere. After I felt like I understood her, I tried other killers because I like variety. I have taken breaks throughout these past couple of years, but even I am still learning and adapting. One thing about killer and survivor is that the opposing team is always adapting and learning, so you essentially have to do the same. At times, it seems like you are ahead, and its like, "I got this", only to have that team who is further along to show you, "not quite".

Basically, sweetie, you will always have rounds that do your head in, but there are rounds that make the game so well worth the time and energy. Its always evolving in a sense as new things are added or things are removed/changed.

I won't disagree, though, killer can and definitely more so now, a frustrating experience. Keep it up, you'll get the hang of it in no time! Or even if it does, don't give up, the reward is well worth it, if you're like me and enjoy: variety, solid outplays, funny mindgames, enjoyable overall experience in the match, and the idea that maybe, juuust maybe you scared a couple of them ;)
