How baaaa ah ah ad can I be?
I'm only doing what comes naturally.
.... I am sorry not sorry.

Me.
The Donut.
I devour my enemies in one swoop!
My weakness, I can be devoured first.
Ultimate killer right here!
In all seriousness, though, it is based on preference in most cases, however a killer who is considered the strongest, I feel either Nurse, Spirit, or GF. GF it actually depends on his playstyle, so he is less likely from the three. Ofc, this is my opinion.
Billy is balanced imo, and he is my bapey. Much love to him <3
-
Wow. I am so glad to hear that. I actually didn't think a SWF, though, with an assorted ranks would be fun, bc the killers could be an uber duber mindgamer, but you enjoy it and thats good! Haha we all start with our first survivor before finding one we just stick to. Like for me when I first started, I played Nea. However it was for only a couple matches, when I became aware of SC, so Claudie was my next pick. I'm excited to see who you end up maining! And you are very right. There are so many perks that create so many different playstyles, it can be a lot to have sink in! @animalmak
Oh! That's really smart of him. I know forums or even many other media can have its fair share of toxicity or frustrations and being able to either steer clear or keep a calm head is always a good trait to have. Haha, I don't blame him for not wanting to rely on teammates. Its nice to hear he loves killer! The ruin change had so many people, including me at first, clawing at the dev's doors, but to hear he wasn't phased, in a toxic sense, is good to hear. Hag is honestly so fun when you understand her. Glad to hear that your brother is likely staying!! I was actually wlrried new killers would have a rough time, mostly with the matchmaking rn, but it sounds like he isn't having much issue? Thanks for filling in for him ofc <3 @Fibijean
Hope all of your experiences stay good and positive! Having more people with calm and level headed aptitudes is always a nice pace to add to this, sometimes chaotic, yet passionate, community.
-
Haha that's good to hear ^,^ I'm glad you are staying <3

I started this game as a survivor main because I rarely played FPS games on console because PC is better in that regard.
But then after survivor became... lackluster... I switched to Killer and never looked back. I love the challenge. Hate how FUBAR the game is right now.
Killers just donβt get the kind of love from the company that survivors do and I can already see that being fairly new to the game (4 months).
And another new ish player! Dbd devs, where are you to hear this feedback? D:
Wait... are you stalking us? You Mikey Main devs smh ππits ok, I understand. Daddy myers amirite?
Thanks btw, for sharing your input. I would like it if more newer players put in their feedback. It is, afterall, what the devs are often looking at.

As a survivor, when I play, I have the worst kobe luck. However, I kobe'd today, when I should have died. But hey, thats if ya believe in that kind of thing lol

Ruin getting nerfed, for me, was not the issue. It was how they worded the nerf, the timing, and the reasoning. The way they worded it was so well, I will let ya draw your own conclusions from those patch notes. Otherwise, a change/nerf to ruin could prove beneficial with map changes, hence why the nerf isn't the problem for me and those like me.
I'm not a killer main. I'm a donut....
I'll get my tinfoil hat, too... I dun wanna be eaten o.o

He is a troll. Trolls are nommy. Ever watched the movie? Nom nom in my tum tum. I don't take him seriously either. And find him entertaining. Nice little laugh when I am having a meh or boring day.

Went from warning about boom booms for peeps on hooks to nea da killa to nea da entity
I'm dead, yall have killed me. ππ

Rank 3 surv and I escape pretty often, so long as my team is solid. However, on console or any platform at that, we can't do accurate statistic pullings because we aren't ranked properly. Rank 11 v rank 2s is HIGHLY unlikely to win, unless those rank 2s decide they are over-altruistic, which can be detrimental on a team. Same can be said about a rank 2 v rank 11s. The ranks may not matter entirely, but there is a curve to some degree. And that jump between ranks is enough of a curve to say so.

Me: *sees dull totem* Noed, is that you?

I have noticed gen grab, locker grab, and window grabs stolen from me. Mostly the survivor is injured, but I have missed grabs that I definitely should have gotten on healthy survivors. Dunno about the whole exploiting thing, bc I son't notice this at all when I play with le survivors as a survivor too

Crotus prenn. Probs best spelling, but we allll know where I mean.
Corn maps in general. We may have corn vision, killers i mean, but survivors have x ray vision with the corn. At least, it feels like that. When I see my hex in a bad spot and just move on as though I don't have it anymore. Few times, DH has surprised me by reminding me it exists with insta downs

Oooh me, too. I wonder if they count the same way though since they are illusionary whereas Freddy's are actually interactivable. Doc's pallets kinda just scream then laugh at you ._.

*snatches Billy away* dun hurt my bapey o,o

I would blame it on the first dc'er, but they did it at nearly the same time and as soon as I phased over to their spawn location. I mean my build isn't even that oppressive. I know it happens and I thought a lot of peeps liked her changes?

A good Youtuber I know calls them SkillBillies.
He can be so much fun.
Ahahha I love that. SkillBillies
-
I am a billy main "ish". I like variety, so I don't play him all day long. However, with that said, I am a Billy who mostly chainsaws. M1 is simple, and so predictable. You either hit the survivor because of their mistake or miss because of yours. I find pleasure in using the chainsaw, because there is a skill cap between survivor and Billy. I love getting the hit AND getting dodged. It's lime an adrenaline rush. I do it, because the predictability varies, you don't always get the survivor, and if you miss, at least when I do, is because the survivor made a good read and outplayed me. I prefer that feeling over than just missing because either or making a "mistake". To me, personally, Billy is the most balanced in the game, or at least, one of those that is balanced. His add-ons do give him more strength, but base Billy (not accounting for perks) is a relatively balanced bapey boy.
Can't remember which youtuber said it best, but you two types of Billies. The Millies, who M1 all the time and almost never use or try to use their chainsaw. And then there are the Billies. Who only use their chainsaw. Often more times than not, they don't heal, they being survivors, and even then I still do my chainsaw. It's just too addicting not to.
Bubba, however, I haven't played Bubba biy, I do know, based on going against him, that he is a weaker killer. I can't tell you how often I was able to dodge his chainsaw, time it just right, etc, when I was in a goodspot. Bubba is best for punishing deadzones, hookbombing, and bad positions. That is it. A good survivor can position themself well if they are prepared and understand when, where, and why they go next. Not saying you are bad. Maybe you were unlucky and were caught out in the open. Bubba, for survivors, is almost all about timing. Make note of what addons he is using, so you can prepare for the chases to come, or even the one you are in at the moment.

If I play Quentin it happens every time, and once they find me, it is on until I am hooked, usually twice. However, being hooked first has been a good omen for me. It usually means I will survive the trial.
Also, survivors are so loud when cleansing totems you would think they are performing cardio. Never fails that I am greeted by a stabby Ghostface if I spawn on a totem (most of the time a dull one at that).
Omg, as killer, I had a Quentin, we were on the game, and I was Huntress, I had this Quentin, cutest bloody survivor in the end, scare the literal crap out of me! He was following me around and when I turned to see him (I like playing with survivors, especially when they are playing with me) in slow motion, only to run backwards. This mans was staring at me, crouched, looking up. He was p3 but holy heckles... I laughed soo hard that match! I can't forget those eyes

Devs, here is a new player giving you feedback. Please read and take a moment to understand.
And I'm glad you weren't afraid to put this out. Ncely written. Hope you stay, because good people like you are always welcomed in the community ^-^

Nea is the bullfighters cloak maybe haha
-
Lmao they heard you touching their totem children. I am like that sometimes on killer.
"Are... are you cleansing my totem? Naughty!"
-
Haha love those moments, too. And I normally solo queue, but have noticed a few times, albeit rare, when the killer leaves me as though some voice is saying, over here!
-
Trying new builds out is a bit more frustrating. I don't wanna stick to Billy every game.
-
Relearning everyday it seems when I play her, but that's because I don't play one killer for all of that day I play. I normally play Billy, Hag, then any random killer after that I own. I have to get reacquainted with her everytime I play, though. But. When I have her in the bag. She can be satisfying to play. At least for me.
Just do NOT put me with Nurse on a corn map or a yamaoka map.
Please. I beg the entity....

When I am running no mither and get an Oni.
All I need to say...

Played around with the splinters and tried Mikey out. I knew about 99ing for tier 3, so worked to get my stalk, tiered up, completely forgot I had tier 2 and tiered up again thinking I was still in tier 1. I was tier 3 and shocked. Ngl I was staring at the survivor like "woops!!"

Thanks both of ya <3

Haha i chuckled at it. Lightened my spirits after that round so it didn't bother me, just surprised me lol

That is true, you will always, always, have a clash of opinions in anything. Dbd is no exception. A lot of what I have been reading though, makes it seem like that is all a lot of people are doing in these forums. The changes could be bad or good in the long run. Ruin could be bad or good. The maps could or won't be fixed. It's all a possibility. I understand that. However, I also want everyone to be willing to understand each other. Because at the end of the day, we all will disagree on something, big or small. It's the matter of how we take the opposing opinions, if we're willing to hear criticism, willing to debate peacefully/civilly, that I want to press on.
Guess I am also just a bit tired of seeing so much fighting e.o like we want the same thing at the end of the day; a balanced, fun game to be EITHER casual or competitive in.
-

@Fibijean said:
Slugging isn't toxic. People get "toxic behaviour" confused with "behaviour that I don't like playing against". So basically, the reason some people consider it toxic is the same reason they consider camping and tunneling toxic - because it isn't much fun for the other side.
Put it best, this is why a lot of survivors find it so toxic to bein with. Simply bexause of how unfun it can appear to be for survivors.
Personally, it isn't. It is genuinely a strategy that can allow you to gain time in such a time management game
-
Haha I am over here in size 7! Am tiny hooman π

Division can go so far when we let it. This can be said about opposing views of core issues. Allowing ourselves to understand each side, even if and/or when we don't agree with that opposition, we can, together strive to better experience for** both sides. Mentality of division stems from the 4v1 mentality ordeal (killer v survivors in simpler terms), but if we just take a minute and look past that, we can find a way to stop such division among people and peers. I have seen it work. We are all welcomed our own opinion, nothing is wrong with that at all, however, if we allow ourselves to see with one eye open, we will never see the whole picture so to speak.
-
I personally need more practice, so she is neutral for me. But I know she can be devastating in the right hands**
-
Her range would be similar to Demi's range, the longer you hold it. However, it doesn't just bring them right to her. I figured a 4m distance, 5m with an addon, would help balance her out a lil.

I made a suggestion a while ago that got little traction, but personally I feel an interesting change could be that Hex Totems arnt lit up at all.
That way the problem of SWF location call outs during a chase is avoided and survivors spend more time just destroying every totem they see, which helps the killer a bit which Ithink we all agree is a bit needed atm.
Next to that I would simple add more totems (not changing the requirements for perks of NoeD thought) just to spread some uncertainty and again potentially, give the killer a bit more time.
Yea that would be beneficial as well. Totems in general are an iffy part of the game and need something. We all can def agree on that.
-
@ZoneDymo said:
It makes no sense, do you understand what risk/reward means?
The reward of running hex perks is immense
So is the risk
That is the balance.
If survivors run a risk cleancing (which well, what haunted grounds is for) suddenly its no longer a risk/reward perk for the killer but more...reward/reward.
again it makes no sense to have any risk for a survivor.
To some, haunted grounds is viewed as a Band-aid fix of sorts. I see where you stand, hence why I believe it shouldn't be an oppressive backlash by no means. But with the totems work, hex mostly, the survivor's cleanse no problem. Having something to help dissuade them some could be beneficial. It would still be high risk/reward for Killer, and in the end, they are still losing that perk, but in the sense, it is also high risk/reward for survivor. If anything, totems, hex and dull alike, are immensely rewarding for survivors over all. Imo at least.

I have watched your video and have also posted a very similar comment on the forums. I'll bring it here, too, for feedback and thoughts.
"I posted something like this on a comment about leaving a reduce effect on survivors after it is broken. Basically, in summary, this is what I said (I'll include the way you are putting it, as in against the particular survivor that broke it);
DH: Remove all effects, except movement speed after hooking a survivor OR the survivor that broke it is now ONLY either or; moriable for 30 seconds or exposed for 30 seconds; when you get into a chase with this survivor, the DH perk slot will flicker in and out
Thrill: maintains the ability to notify killer of lit totems being touched for 30/45/60 seconds OR maintains the BP value until all dull are cleansed -- or it notifies the killer when the survivor, who broke it originally, and one other who touch the other lit totems on the map. (Gives it outplay)
Noed: maintains the speed boost OR the player who cleansed it is exposed for 20/25 seconds. (Enough time to escape)
Third Seal: all survivors that were effected when the totem was standing are effected for an additional 30 seconds or so OR your version of this I liked, where they're blinded or oblivious effected for the match (pasted from the thread I posted this on)
Ruin: after broken, it still reduces at 100% the normal gen regression speed for 1 minute after broken OR it only regresses for the survivor who broke it for the perk's normal worth (100/150/200) for the next 40 to 60 seconds
Haunted Grounds: no residual effect in any matter, seeing how it is meant to be broken. (At least imo)
HL: After broken, the regression from a missed sc will remain the same, but for only 60 seconds and no audible cues are changed/altered OR all effects carry over to the survivor who broke it for 60 seconds
I am keeping in mind the power of these totems, but then again i love your idea of having backlash for survivors if they break totems. Its high risk and reward for the killers, but only reward for survivors as Space Coconut put it best. Doesn't have to be an insane backlash or anything, just something that could push survivors away or have them consider it first."
-
Leave gen speed alone. The base that is. Imo, m1ing a gen for longer is so boring. I'd be that survivor running to push my teammate out of chase so I could be chased instead and actually have fun.
Toolboxes need a change, yes, so please, devs analyze them carefully. Do NOT try a couple things then let it drop
Map size needs a change on those big maps. Give them love. I prefer quality over quantity/sheer size.
Don't nerf half the "issue" and let the half be. Doing this is why you are appearing so survivor sided. I will admit, watching that stream, despite certain points, gave me hope, but those patch notes sliced into my heart. I play both killer and survivor. Here is my data so far.
Killer: trying new builds are a struggle, but I did 2k the few times I did new builds, and I 3k'ed once. Doctor is a blast to play so far and works so well with distressing and Dh (for me thus far, but this is based on the current matchmaking) Oh and Legion is ooof now. That poor killer lol hag? I need wayy more practice with her and right now, it would be too much of a headache to practice with her. Wraith? I ... I don't wanna talk about my baby rn... Billy? Nearly 4ks, but I did not use ruin on him. He good bapey. Trapper? I am a decent trapper, my traps nearly always get someone, even high ranks. He gives me the most anxiety as survivor though. Oni? He is the one I have been trying new builds on. Have not had him long though, but enjoy his gamestyle. Spirit? Ah, my girl ;) nurse? Do we need to talk about her? Although, I do still have issues with Lery's but not soo bad that I completely lose with her.
Survivor: 1 to 4 games I have died. To put it simply. The other three, either i was chased for the gens, traded off chase, or gens were just done way too fast. When they were done too fast... I wanted ruin back. I was bored .-. Sorry to put it that way, but I don't have a better way to put it when I played. Although the constant Mori here and there was a tuuun of fun to deal with. Well, in seriousness, the first couple were. Trying to outplay them was a rush, but when it is the same thing over and over... nahh I good
