I was wondering why it wasn't telling me anything. I was hoping to use it over discordance, because i don't have any of the licensed killer perks.
-
Once as survivor and once as killer. It's very rare on my end. As survivor, the Deathslinger dropped and pressured. The saboer was a solo and unrelated to me. Nothing came out of it, by it I mean saboing, as we all escaped.
As killer it was maaaybe a min 2 swf. They were blocking and causing trouble, but it didn't hinder me much. I had a hook close by the first time in the match, and after I'd either drop or just dedicate and get hits in. Easy stbfl stacks so I wasn't complaining.
Besides, I usually hit them enough to cancel the sabo. Could just be luck, but honestly, I'm not worried about the saboing change. It'll likely be as rare, maybe slightly more common, as the toxic tryhard 4man swf.

Main building is only strong if walls are left unbroken. Top floor has 4 walls that I can think of, second floor has two. The two windows there, without breaking the walls, can be god windows.
-
I've gotten back into Hag. I play her with her webs, not a camper Hag. Yes, I defend hooks by placing one trap, but I have 9 or less in a strong and relatively high-traversed area, always getting hits, other times getting downs. I use NOED not for the 'get a down because I didn't all game', I use it to ensure my endgame potential, because my snowball through the match could and can more often than not, go awry, leaving me with one to three hooks, depending. Am I a great Hag? Heck no. I've said this multiple times that I have a lot to learn, but I also only use NOED to give me a boost in my endgame, because relying on gen perks early and mid game is too hecking stressful.
As survivor, which I play way more of now, I immediately check tiles for totems before or after I do a gen. I know all of the spots by heart. I even make it my mission, when we are down to one or two gens, to make sure all 5 totems are done. Of course, I am a killer magnet, so I often have to get NOED in the end, but if you know all of the spots, that one down camp scenario doesn't last long. Especially if you run BT, which I do. I don't like leaving anyone behind.
Is NOED a perk that rewards with no play? Yes. I won't deny that. It's a hex perk however. It's a HIGH reward/risk perk, and it's easily counterable by doing bones. Ds, as you use in your example, isn't counterable. Well, waiting it out and going for someone else makes it counterable by a degree, but killers have to snowball to get anywhere in a game, because they can't do their objective as quickly and efficiently as survivors can do theirs. So, if they happen to snowball the other three, they can't do much but slug and chase down the ds player, who could reset the slugs. Same can be said when you go for everyone else, hook them, then go for the D'S player but you eat it and lose all of your pressure, IF the player uses it to their advantage. Granted, there's a lot of niche scenarios where you need a pallet, need something to go your way, and among other things, but DS can make a killers win do a 180. Eating that Ds may be the only way to get rid of it, but what you lose by doing so could do you more harm than good, as well as benefit you if you eat at 5 gens.
DS, Dead hard, BT (counters endgame to a degree), SB, Adrenaline (this perk can destroy an endgame snowball without NOED) are perks survivors have to prolong their life. They have three hook states and two health states. This is base.
I'm rambling, my point is, NOED can be avoided. Even endgame can be ended with a quick search around the map. If you worry about not finding the totem, use Small Game until you've memorized the locations. DS and NOED are on a similar plane, but not by a lot. DS being avoided or taken could kill a match for Killer. Breaking totems has zero repercussions for survivors and only has benefits. I understand it's frustrating and requires no skill to use it, by it I mean NOED, but this can be said by many other perks that are used by survivors.
Just my thoughts on it. Hope I didn't come off as rude. I do find NOED dislike silly, but well understood.

It's pretty much all I can think of when people talk about bringing Solos up to SWFs level. I dont think they realize just how much that entails. Kindred as base would be nothing in comparison.
I mean you're right. They want to bring the survivors on each side of the spectrum up to the same margin, or have them meet in the middle, then work on balancing killers towards that. I did find that suggestion funny though, not in a mean or hateful way, just genuinely funny <3

New Survivor perk: Survive With Friends.
Unlocks one's ability to read auras. Any object(including the killer) that can have an aura has its aura revealed to you so long as it's in the line of sight of 1/2/3 other Survivors(determined at random at the start of the match).
The progress of generators revealed by Survive With Friends can be determined by its aura intensity.
Hex totems have yellow auras.
Survive With Friends trumps Undetectable.

Donβt always auto-teleport to traps, mainly when youβre chasing someone.
For example, if someone triggers a trap on the other side of a pallet just wait to see what they do:
If they keep running, then teleport and chase.
If they drop, teleport and hit if you can react quickly.
Sometimes theyβll just run back into your loving arms, so no need to even teleport.
I mean after all, she just wants a hug.... There's nothing else she'd want.... *remembers mori* nothing else at all π

First time going against Demo and his shred. I screamed so hard.

Peekaboo Myers. Nothing more to say... I still get jumpscared by him.

Because us killers are upper class citizens compared to the plebeian class that is survivor.
Yes, survivors will cheese and play dirty and use every aspect of the game that is unbalanced and disadvantageous to the killer.
But we killers will put up with those dregs for the matches that are good and enjoyable.
Us killers stand united with the hopes that one day this game will truly be balanced!

Sometimes it's possible to have fun BECAUSE it's a broken mess of a game. Every now and again, you get a glitch or big that proves more amusing or entertaining than frustrating.
Omg yes

If you snap tap at the right time you never get the skill checks at 25-50-75%, maybe you refer to this?
I don't tap, I hold it down because it's faster, but due to the skill checks not appearing, I have to tap. Only happened twice so far
-
Doctor; snap out of it skill checks don't appear at all. You get the sound notification, but it appears nowhere on the screen. On PS4, not sure if it occurs anywhere else
-
I sit in the exit gate for various reasons:
1. To make sure no one else is hooked (often I leave and stand some meters away from the gate so I have a headstart into a direction)
2. Heal allies or myself because it is the safest place
3. Be ready to take hits for an incoming injured person
4. Wait so that the killer gets more points. Them finding me, me running, then them hitting me, gives them a lot of points and I like doing it especially if the generators went sonic speed.
5. To moonwalk with the killer. I want to try and make the killer laugh or smile, in the event the match is frustrating. By moonwalk I mean walk back and forth horizantally, having my face point straight up. I don't tbag or point
6. If players are still in the trial and he's coming towards me while I'm at the gate, I wait until he completely downs me before I escape. This wastes time and gives the other or others a chance to get out
7. If the killer was fun and I had fun, i often let myself die to egc, running in circles and looking straight up. Only do this when there's like 10 seconds left in egc.

Moris and keys are such iffy topics e.o
Personally I love the idea of making the yellow a part of basekit. I prefer being moried over hook n dead, but I also don't want the other two moris removed or nerfed or both. Changed, yes, but I don't know if I want to see them just gone. However, it'd be necessary to remove them if the yellow became base kit, because of the valid point you bring up --no one likes their match ending early. I love Devour Hope, but DH is a totem perk and is as totem perks should be; very high risk, high reward.
Perhaps make it so the green Mori requires two hook stages and the ebony requires every survivor to be hooked at least once before anyone can get mori'ed.
Personally, I liked the podcast with OhTofu, Otz, Ralph, and Pug, when they covered keys and Moris for like 5 minutes -- one thing sticking out;
Don't make changes to one side: balance/nerf/buff without doing the same to the other side: balance/nerf/buff.
Great post though! Well thought it <3

1. Seeing Jane. She's just. She's self explanatory.
2. Everyone else has a toolbox but me; I laugh because I hope the killer has a Mori and is oni and gives me the love of bam bam.
3. Daddy Myers
4. Oni. Oni. Oni.
5. Feng Min when she runs..... she makes the weirdest noise
6. Demodoggo
7. Moris. I love the good ones
8. Chasing a crouched pig just to boop her snoot
9. Oni... did I mention Oni?
10. Or Daddy Myers? I forget
11. Solid and fun matches
12. The art
13. The effort
14. The dedication
15. Shirtless Myers

I wanna complain and rant and give details of teams that were just like this but I cannot. Why? Because the "potatoes" I've dealt with have all been inconsistently matched with me. In other words, they were 15 or higher. It makes me so mad to see a player, not even a blendette, hiding in a corner, crouched. Or when two survivors can clearly save me, but instead they run around in circles. All of these scenarios and then some really make me want to run up the wall. But it's unfair to those players. Unfair because it's not their fault they were put in a match with me and a killer of my skill. It's not their fault they're trying to learn the game with all of these variables they have yet to learn. This doesn't make it any easier, but I try to keep calm when in these rounds, because keeping calm and carry on. Good medicine when it works.
But of course. There's those teams that do it out of spite and it makes me wanna scream all over again.
DBD how our love/hate relationship has blossom >,<

Bloody Haddonfield. Can't stand that map. If I'm being honest, I prefer The Game or Hawkins over it. I also despise Lerys as both survivor and killer. Love it's design but that's it lol
-
Mad grit is insanely satisfying and fun. I'm biased, so I don't have much to say except the aforementioned statement. ^-^
-
Most boring. Hmm. Honestly, from a survivor standpoint, I'd have to say some of the recent changes, ie ruin, made it feel (granted it was always like this at high ranks through MY experience, btw) like the game goes too fast. I mean it does serve it's purpose for high rank survivors (or newer players), but for players like myself, it's eh. I have no proper incentive to go find the killer for a chase other than boredom from pressing a single button all game. I know gens are the only objective, and I have no intent of throwing backlash anywhere, so please don't take this out of context.
Killer. Hmm. I suppose the ranking system after the rank reset. I hated going against red ranks as a green rank that had so much to learn, but now, I'm pushed to brown currently (no time to dedicate time here recently) and I'm getting placed with rank 20s or horrible rank 10s. I get maybe a red now and then, which I'm not outright complaining, it's just boring hitting a survivor then... They go all the way around and back into your arms... I mean I'm all for hugs, but this is dbd or dead by daylight... not hug all day lol.
Hmm, and the other thing that's both sides is the lack of actual events. I'm okay with the archives, but events are a lot more fun imo. Especially when they're done well.
-
I'm the kind of survivor who let's myself die on hook if I know there's no way the other, other than myself, survivor can save me.
However. If a survivor is on the hatch when they could have clearly saved me, then I get a little annoyed. I even stick on the hook longer in that event, but that's about as far as my annoyance goes. Even then, it's more likely I just die, because I wanna get a new game.

Honestly... Plague. I'm not the best at her, and I still run into problems, but she is honestly a lot of dun for me. I dunno. I don't go for corrupt purge, get it on the fly when they've cleansed too much and I like playing with keeping everyone sick/injured and sick.
Wraith is a close second though. He's the easiest to play for me, despite his own dtruggle. Besides, coxcombed is sooo much fun. Closest thing I, me personally, can get to a scratched mirror myers lol

One of my favorite things about running Agitation + Iron Grasp + Mad Grit is when a Survivor doesn't bother to struggle, which effectively takes them out of the game for a fair bit longer because I am still running at close to 115% speed AND I have no attack cooldown.
Preciselyyyy, its soo satisfying.
Even going against this I'm freaking out. It's a good freak out and one i personally enjoy. Like imagine being chased by a Myers, carrying someone who is NOT struggling and he is looking at you like, "I want dat booty"
Yeah it's just an overall fun build, at least imo π

You only have 16 seconds to get to a hook. Wasting 3-5 seconds going to one hook just to find out it's being sabotaged then you have to switch directions to a further hook. Hangman's trick will eliminate that waste of time.
Also yes I'll definitely use it in a hook build at least part of the time. My icon is Mad Grit for a reason. Overly altruistic survivors are my favorite part of playing killer.
It's so satisfying to run mad grit. And my favorite part is when the survivor on your back is like "fine, I commit backpack" and you're running around like "Vrooooom"

Personally, having it changed in some way would be nice, at least for people like me - I have nerve damage in my hands so it can get painful at times. But remove it? I dunno. I kinda like the feel (other than the pain lmao) it gives me when I'm fighting this claw that just wants to stab me or impale me.
Im for a slight change but against removing it. Some people do have worse hands than myself. Perhaps they could have an option in settings so that you can change it from a soft struggle to a normal struggle? Just my thoughts on it. ^-^

Just imagine these tiny ladies bursting through a wall.... SOUNDS FLIPPING ADORABLE!!!!!!!

Not in Australia, but I'll gladly rise up! As long as there is cookies, better servers, and.... hugs.

I played around with it when I had first started playing, but it's inconsistency was meh. I won't lie, when it outlasted ruin or DH I could tell they were, they being survivors, running around with their heads cut off. It was amusing when it worked.

Hum.
Not Trapper, coz of the metal sticking out his body, that could hurt.
Not Wraith, coz his wood head would hurt.
Not Hillbilly, coz it will be an unbalanced hug.
Not Nurse, coz i don't want to float.
Not Myers, coz the breathing sound would be annoying.
Not Hag, coz she would be too small for me.
Not Doctor, coz torture device would hurt and the sound he makes would annoy me.
Huntress definitly hugable, as she wears comfortable clothes, probably soft and her humming would make you sleepy <3
Not Bubba, coz i would be afraid he liked my face too much.
Not Freddy, coz the hat would be annoying and he is too small for me to hug.
Not Piggy, coz she is too small and the Pig head probably stinks a lot.
Not Clown, coz even if his belly would be a good pillow but his couhing sounds would annoy me.
Not Spirit, coz she would be annoying to hear and she would phase in and out.
Legion definitly hugable, and you can have a group hug which is always nice !
Not Plague, coz her name is self explainatory.
Not Ghostface, coz i would be afraid to get knifed in the back.
Demogorgon definitly hugable, a little sticky but huge arms and i love his purring sound.
Not Oni, coz even if i would love to hug him, i would be afraid to be crushed in his strong arms.
Yesh Huntress o,o she's like the mommy of the killers, despite the fact that she's not π€ I like the idea of floating, if hugging nurse, but that's prob just me. And Mikeys breathing wouldn't bother me at all.

Hmm. How do I think about about this idea? Pretty sure I can sum it up into two words.
OH YEAH

Oml trapper definitely needs a hug. Of course I imagine Saminations trapper in place of trapper, but still haha. Hugging Frank could go sideways o.o so Joey would def be one of the safer choices lol Personally, I would probs hug Julie or Susie, too out of Legion.
David and Michael are stronk bois, likely give best hugs
