It should absolutely be bannable if you're intentionally doing it for an advantage.

Which is why they post warnings in game for things like that (legion blade exploit for example), so that people are aware that they are exploiting an issue.

If they cant or wont disable it, telling people,"hey this isnt supposed to do this, if you abuse it, you will be banned" seems a logical recourse.

No, the logical recourse here would be "hey, this feature is not working as intended and ruins the game, so we will temporairly disable it. We are sorry for the inconvienience"

Couldnt care less if its used for advantage or not, its in the game then I can use it.

It's not a faulty product. It works. Theres one aspect that is buggy at the moment, sure, but THAT is what your argument hinges on?

Also, you paid to RENT A LICENSE to play it, which can be revoked at any time, as is in it's current state. Things change, for good or bad, and neither entitles a refund.

You essentially supported the company in making the game however they want, as long as you can play it for a bit.

    Thats still a faulty product.

"this car is fine, it only has a few cracks here and there" do you think it makes sense?

Yes things change, features are added, removed, changed, disabled, etc. BUT I CAN USE ALL FEATURES THAT ARE CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. This is how it works. Calling something a "bug" is admitting that the product is faulty/not working as intended.

Intentionally abusing bugs for an advantage should be bannable. That would require reports from the "victims" and if you are reported multiple times for the same thing, this should be a ban. Although I agree that buggy addons and perks should be simply deactivated. That's simple to do unlike bugs with the environment or any mechanics which can happen on every map or with every killer / survivor

Tthis doesnt work like that. If the bug is rare, then then you cant prove someone is abusing it. If its common, then the bugged feature should be disabled. So basically banning people for exploiting bugs is just being lazy. Doesnt matter is its an addon, map, perk or killer, it should be temporary disabled and fixed as fast as possible. Unless there is a REALLY special case, banning for using bugged features, should NEVER be accepted

  • He was the last survivior, right?

What else couod he do? He was at the mercy of the killer, so if killer spared him, he has no right to complain really. One wrong move and killer will murder him.

Could say the same thing about the super speed nurse bug. Instead of disabling the add-on that they know is causing the issue until it's fixed, they'd just ban you for using it

Flying Hillbilly is there since launch, so Id say its safe.

Still, the Nurse situation is bullshit. You are supposed to get refunded for getting faulty product, not punished for using it. I get digital market is a different thing, so it doesnt work like that, but common sense still applies

  • Great feature, easy to implement, DBD is is on UE4, that has BUILT IN 3d freecam replays

Not sure if it will be added, because it would show what is REALLY caused by latency and what is caused by bad hitboxes

  • I dont think you can get banned for that

Actually I would discuss every ban for using exploits, because you shouldnt be punished for using faulty product

Doctor was just changed, and only happened under certain circumstances, it was very obvious to them what the fix is.

I can guarantee that all these nurse issues people are having are barely being reported with evidence & write ups explaining what was happening when the bug occured, 100s of people on the forum complaining about the bug isn't useful either if none of them report with builds/evidence/videos showing what happened.

Nurse bugs are so common that you can playtest them yourself...

Devs just dont want to put enough time/effort in this, thats it.

Good or bad, judge for yourself

I guess you missed the clip where they said if you miss when aim dressing happens it's a bug, either way, you clearly understand this game better than the devs so I can see why you're ignoring what the devs say, I do apologise oh holy grand master of aim dressing.

Well obviously devs will answer "just report it" when they dont see the problem and do not plan on fixing it.

Instead of fixing hitboxes and reducing the mistake margin that is made even bigger by latency, devs want to implement lag prediction system. We dont know any details yet, but if its going to be and upgrade to Aim Dressing, then we will and up with real Auto Aim

I dont know the game better than devs, what I said was based on what devs said.

  • @Seanzu said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1145429#Comment_1145429

YIKES, It's like you guys don't pay attention or something.

It's a bug, they explain it, has nothing to do with latency, it's only supposed to happen on hits the game has already said is going to happen

    https://clips.twitch.tv/ViscousPlumpBulgogiTheThing

Do you eve know how it works

Killer asks survivior his position, decides if he is in the "attack range", then killer attacks, game ADJUSTST HIS ANIMATION, killer asks for the position AGAIN, decides if survivior is in range again, CHECKS IF THERE ARE OBSTACLES IN THE WAY and then decides if its a hit.

This means that the Aim Dressing does, and is designed to adjusts your animation even if the attack WILL NOT HIT, because there are obstacles in the way.

And even if there are no obstacles, Aim Dressing DOES NOT ACCOUNT FOR LAG. This means that when survivior leaves the range after you start a lunge (with DH or SB) your attack can be STOPPED HALFWAY, because the game thinks survivior is still there.

Its not a bug, the system itself is flawed

  • @ohheyitsbobcat said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1144491#Comment_1144491

Ahh did they change it? I remember seeing a Mod or maybe a Dev use the term animation enhancement a couple months ago or so. Didn't know they changed the name since then.

Yeah, they changed it recently, 1.5 months ago or so.

    No idea why but ok

  • @Seanzu said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1144496#Comment_1144496

They literally said in the stream if aim dressing makes you miss a hit you need to report it

How could it be a bug if the idea itself allows for it to happen

Aim Dressing doesnt check if there are obstacles in the way of the swing, so it can make you hit walls

It also makes it impossible for you to account for latency in your attacks, as it "corrects" your swing without accounting for it.

TL;DR: no matter how much devs will fix Aim Dressing, it will be always "bugged", as most bugs are just caused by latency

  • That would be cool

But we all know its not going to happen, downed surviviors have no hitbox, and adding it would be too much work (for the devs)

  • Leaving the match is always toxic.

Sorry, but your teammates and opponents are just some strangers on the internet and dont care about your feelings.

Deal with it or face the punishment. If you are frustrated or angry then dont play the game.

  • @MasonOliver123 said:

You also forget that just because some people don’t like a few of the things you have listed doesn’t mean the game is somehow “bad”.

Many of the people who complain about being camped or tunneled also forget that this is a mechanic of the game. Same with the people who tunnel AND THEN proceed to complain about DS and gen times because they couldn’t keep their eyes off one survivor.

In essence yes the game is not perfect but if you are from way back when insta blinds existed, then you would know that the game has come very far. This is mostly due to the devs efforts to improve it.

Don’t just diss it because of the “bad” parts.

"Many of the people who complain about being camped or tunneled also forget that this is a mechanic of the game."

Well maybe it shouldnt be part of the game. This is what people mean whan they say that the game is "bad". It has things it shouldnt have, and doesnt have things it should.

I know for sure, that DH and SB exploiters got no bans. The devs announced it at that time and just said: "Please don't exploit guys.". Yeah very helpful.

Additionally somebody stated here, that you shouldn't use a specific addon of a specific killer, if you don't wanna get banned. So i guess someone received bans here.

My post just said it would be really biased to ban killers for using exploits and leaving survivors alone, IF this is true.

If I hear about devs banning people for doing something in the game, then Im going to use it, even if Im going to get banned.

Threatening people with bans in such situation is epitome of laziness, if they actually ban someone then I would be convinced that they dont deserve any money.

I just faced a Nurse doing this exploit. I understand accidentally triggering it, but this person was straight up trolling and being toxic with it. I reported this person in game and will submit a ticket.

You reported the wrong person. You should have reported the Dev team for making this happen in the first place.

You reported a normal player, actual toxic player would just use hacks (getting banned doesnt mean anything to them)

  • @Seanzu said:

Please learn what it actually is.

Animation Enhancement is only supposed to activate on hits that the game has decided you will land, so if it causes you to miss it was a bug and should be reported where possible.

Auto Aim gives you hit's you aren't supposed to, DBDs "Auto Aim" is ONLY supposed to turn on when the server has deemed you were supposed to and the hit, and if you miss, it was a bug.

Aim Dressing making you miss is not a bug. Its "latency"

As devs said in the tech stream, latency cant be fixed, this means this bug can never be fixed.

The only solution is to make hitboxes actually match the survivior model, so Aim Dressing is not needed anymore.

  • @ohheyitsbobcat said:

Haven't seen an auto-aim thread in a while. I believe it's called Animation Enhancement by most people now as well as the "official" term the devs use. There was a stream talking about it some time back as well.

Here's a thread where a dev talks about it a bit.

There are threads like that all the time. I make sure of it lol.

Right now its called Aim Dressing, they changed the name in the "tech stream"

  • @voiceofguns27 said:

Why? Why is this still in the game? I can't tell you how many times it has screwed me out of hitting someone. It's a terrible crutch and it's embarrassing this company has implemented it in a game like this. They want to make the game skillful? Remove it. Even with skill, this cheat still screws it up. I want to go left, it makes me go right. This company is an absolute joke when it comes to having this cheat in the game for so long.

I will tell you a secret. Why is Aim Dressing in the game? Its very simple. Because of bad hitboxes. Survivior hitboxes are so bullshit that its embarrasing, Aim Dressing is there to "make hits look better" aka "hide bad hitboxes.

That said, Aim Dressing is not a crutch, because it doesnt help you hit AT ALL. It can ONLY make you miss a hit you shouldnt have. And that fact makes it even worse

FIX THE HITBOXES AND REMOVE AIM DRESSING

Thank you for coming to my ted talk

Ok, quick summary (some are quotes, some are me explaining what they said, you figure it out)

    Guns are cool.

Joked about pirates next, also ninjas.

    Talked about the deathslinger's character.

It's really responsive, it's fast (the gun).

    Talked about zarina.

Go read the backstory, it's cool and more detailed.

    Talked about the map.

It's a new style of map.

Maps can be different now (doors, etc).

    Talked about breakable walls.

It's very impactiful and needs extra testing.

We didn't understand map design at the start as we do now, so we gotta be careful implementing it (the breakable walls).

    Map is illuminated differently.

    Cringe/cool transition of cohost.

Players will feel confortable with the deathslinger if they player another fps before.

    Nothing is easy in dbd.

Normal gun wouldn't be fun (too fast/easy).

After hitting the shot "it's pretty done".

Struggling against getting pulled and blocking the chain add to each other.

You gotta earn the bounty (why just hitting a shot won't down an injured survivor).

    Perks.

They can't really test all combinations avaiable.

Gearhead, no time revealed "short duration".

    Dms, same.

    Hex:retribution, same.

Off the record, looks the same.

Red herring, lenghty cooldown, no number given.

    For the people, same.

I don't remeber them saying nothing was changed about the gunslinger from ptb

"Players will feel confortable with the deathslinger if they player another fps before."

    HAHAHA

Just a week ago or so, one of the devs told me that "there is no need to make hitboxes more accurate, because DBD is not a precision based game" a now they compare Deathslinger gameplay to FPS games lmao

PLEASE SHOW ME 1 SHOOTER GAME (with similiar player base to DBD) THAT HAS PILL-SHAPED HITBOXES LIKE DBD

That’s actually very disappointing for me. I found deathslinger very underwhelming even with good aim/perks. I was hoping for some tweaks, but I’ll probably wait awhile longer before getting him then.

I think you can be quite decent at him.

But remember this: good aim doesnt do ######### if hitboxes dont match survivior models.

You need to remember how it looks like and act based on that

(Will add picture as soon as this ######### starts working)

  • @not_Queen said:

    @Toastyy

    It doesn't.

As it was mentioned in the thread by different people, NOED isn't rewarding poor gameplay from Killers:

    • Killer has to play the trial with only 3 perks before the doors are activated.
    • The perk can be fully deactivated by survivors
    • If the killer has no luck in hooking many survivors before the doors are activated, then the survivors should have been able to cleanse totems without feeling pressure, thus, not giving the NOED edge to the killer. It's on them if it activates.
    • If survivors allow the killer to get a 4K with NOED in the end game, I would argue that survivors made mistakes during their end game plays or didn't prepare for the potential NOED activation.

Finally, if you don't want to play NOED, it's your prerogative. In my opinion, building a build that is strong in end game isn't rewarding failure, it is using perks for their intended purposes. The purpose of NOED is to give a killer a burst of strength in end game. Since it's effectively strong, survivors have the power to deactivate it, if they focus secondary objectives.

The killer players choosing to play NOED are banking on a burst of strength at the end for the downside of playing with 3 perks the rest of the game and having a chance to have their perk deactivated. It's a high risk, high reward scenario.

    Do bones.

"If the killer has no luck in hooking many survivors before the doors are activated, then the survivors should have been able to cleanse totems without feeling pressure, thus, not giving the NOED edge to the killer. It's on them if it activates." OMG. Ever heard of "CAMPING"? Finding, downing and hooking the first person and then camping them can be done in under 240 seconds easily, while doing 5 gens + doing 5 totems is already 240 seconds... And thats WITHOUT counting time needed to fimd totems and gens! NOED camper are the problem

"If survivors allow the killer to get a 4K with NOED in the end game, I would argue that survivors made mistakes during their end game plays (...)". Maybe they just wanted to save the 2 guy from gettimg camped too? I thought that camper were supposed to lose every game and 2k is the "balanced result"... So this would mean that NOED campers are okay in your opinin? "or didn't prepare for the potential NOED activation."

OMFG WHAT THE HELL THIS IS? I EDIT THE POST 5 TIMES BECAUSE IT FALLS APART EVERY ######### TIME

In particular, I would like to state this again. When I want to hang it, it opens exploit and my camera slides left and right and runs away. I confirm this because this is a trick and I found the subject. I have no intention of advertising but https://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1488892 thanks to this method, they perform it easily. It was also confirmed that this method works in version 3.6.0. I was constantly crushed by this method.

@Peanits @not_Queen please I ask you to deal with this problem.

Oooh, should have sent this in the first place.

This is a cheat, you can use it thanks to potato netcode and lack of encryption of the communication between client and server.

You can literally send dummy data and the server doesnt notice for 14 SECONDS lol

  • @Raven9 said:

Well today our topic is killer play and cheats. If I have to take your general opinion, ruin doesn't do much. However, I see that they have survivor cheats.

u say 'DEDICATED SERVER' and yes they are cheating, they are doing lag switch without anyone knowing it and they are surprised by the direction of the killer. A survivor called me and I went to her. I noticed that he was teleporting before my eyes, I guessed this event and managed to wrap it on the ground. However, I can not hang it, my camera slides left and right, and it is constantly getting rid of my hand and I noticed that these tricks are used on a fake steam account.

How does it feel to play a killer? What kind of change do you think? vs.

They are not cheating. What you are experiencing is caused by:

    1. Lags
    2. Bad hitboxes
    3. Aim Dressing
    4. Bad netcode (mostly grabs and stalking)

I usually see around 1/4 players using some sort of store cosmetics. Almost everyone uses the base free ones or the bloody ones. Been playing since '16 and it's always been this way, even after the Store went live in 2.0.

Because bloody one are the only that are worth getting. There are very few outfits that give you advantage, and even less are for shards. Basically default are one of the better ones, or even the best (like claudette)

  • @fleshbox said:

No, you have to slog through three complete bloodwebs and hope you get decent perks fast on the last one

Yeah I know, thats why I use the default claudette.

Its the best outfit on the second best character in the game, Ace doesnt have camo outfits unfortunately

  • @tea said:

Basically title. Cosmetics are one of the best things in the game, imo, other than the actual gameplay itself. It keeps the game visually fresh and it's fun to customize different outfits.

Playerbases from games like Overwatch and Fortnite are huge on skins and customization. But in DbD I mostly see characters in their default clothes or bloody prestiges. Especially strange to me since so many cosmetics can be bought with shards without spending a dime.

Why would I waste shards for cosmetics if I can buy perks and DLCs with them?

Also default claudette outfit is the best on every map. The only other cosmetic that is worth getting is the P3 claudette, but you cant buy it with shards anyway

  • This discussuion is pointless, you are just bashing eachother while ignoring facts.

If you had early game pressure, then DS would or wouldn't have been used but everyone would most likely be on death hook, disabling any need to rescue. Getting multi-DS'ed in the game would mean you would either have to have NOED up, or you barely got some hooks in by the end giving you an opportunity to chain hook.

If you had early game pressure, you most likely would have slugged, but getting DS'ed in the late game is telling me you can't slug because the gates are opened and you can't afford the loss.

Well no, you can get multi DSed every time you have a lot of hooks.

For example 2 people in the basement, and 1 outside. The person outside gets rescued, you go and down the unhooker, in the meantime unhooked goes to the basement and rescues 2 people. You bump into them as they leave, now you have 3 DSes active and cant even hook the person that rescued them. If they also have BT, then they will be able to scatter and hide in lockers.

Im not saying there is absolutely no counter, Im saying that countering it inconviniences you too much and forces you to take risks you shouldnt take. Not to mention that nothing that happened in the theory above was tunneling, so DS shouldnt work in this scenario at all.

  • @BigBrainMegMain said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1135850#Comment_1135850

Getting 3 DS's just means you had no early game pressure and you're finally pumping out some pressure late in the game.

I've never, EVER had 3 DS's in a row, and I've only seen it once in the Otz video with his trapper but that's only because he had 0 early game pressure.

What do you mean by "0 early game pressure?"

Does early game pressure disable DS? Because, from what I know, the only way to disable DS is to get hit by it. Or make them miss the skillcheck.

If "pressure" means "tunneling", then your "anti tunnel perk" is not working as intended.

  • Yeah, but for example selfcare is 50% on all levels.

The point is that regressing a gen by 50% literally kills your team.

hopefully we can keep from insults and name calling, I will say to start I play both sides about 50/50 so I have seen theeee from both sides. I’m a rank 1/2 survivor and usually purple killer if anyone thinks that matter which it may.

Both sides have their unwritten rules (well written in forums or endgame I guess) that they feel the other side should follow but WHY? If it’s not a bug or exploit, if it’s built into the game why shouldn’t they do it?

If your answer is that it makes the game unfun for you/your side then can you honestly say you don’t do anything that makes it unfun for the other side?

This could be camping, tunneling, using brand new parts, using maps that clearly favor one side, abusing a specific near infinite loops. If a killer doesn’t camp then do you agree to not run to “good loops,” and if the survivors don’t bring any toolboxes does that mean you would drop NOED even if you usually use it to account for gen speed?

And of course using certain perks like NOED, DS, BT could be included in here as well. If you knew the other teams wasn’t going to use “meta build,” would you screw around as well and use some of the funnier, less used perks?

"Because its unfun" is more than enough reason. Devs are not fixing things, then we have to fix them ouselves. The whole point is that you say others to follow the rules, while you still follow them. If you dont do that than you are just a hypocrite.

But well obviously some people overdo it and make impossible claims, so ignore them

    Indeed it is.

I cant count how many times I have heard:

"Ok, lets eat that DS now. ... Oh, they didnt have it? ... Maybe he missed it?"

IMO DS should work only if you are REALLY being tunneled, if it was like this then killers wouldnt bother "eating DS early".

Otherwise we have some dumb situations like getting DSed by the last survivior alive right next to an exit gate, getting hit by 3 DSes in 15 seconds after 3 man basement escape, getting DSed after grabbing someone off a 90% generator, etc. Killers dont want these things to happen, so they want to get DS out of the way by intentionally tunneling.

  • @NullEXE said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1135341#Comment_1135341

The killer can't win by tunneling. If you need a crutch perk to loop well, then i'm sorry to say but you need to get better at the game. The point of the perk is to give you a chance at a chase if the Killer "tunnels you off hook", because in most cases you don't have time to go from a hook to a nearby jungle gym, building, TL loop, safe house, or safe loop.

A chase is supposed to only last aproximately 20 seconds VS a good killer, if you are in chase longer than that - you did well. With 2 hooks, and how many heals/hits you get, stacking all those chases together you can max Evader in just three of those 20 second chases. Decisive Strike is 60 seconds that is 3x longer than a normal chase. If you are running out of DS before the chase even ends then you already maxed, or near maxed the evader emblem. Then if you unhooked twice / healed twice that match you are going to single pip to red ranks even if you die (depending how long you were in the match for).

Pausing the timer just makes chasing any survivor off hook to be impossible, so then Survivors can't be punished for making mistakes like unsafe saves, immeditatly jumping on objectives right off coming off hook (instead of ensuring your safe first), or running at dangerous areas (areas without pallets, or directly into the killer). Which isn't fair at all, you shouldn't be compesated for your mistakes. It would be far too easy to exploit.

The fact of the matter, DS in it's current state is too powerful, that's why you see it often in high rank games (statistically proven). Also it's current state is easy to exploit for a 60 second immunity paired with an exhaustion perk.

However adding conditions if the Killer performs an action that proves he's not tunneling is a small change, that imo balances out the perk. Umbra is where I heard the idea that it just deactivates when the Killer hooks another survivor, and it doesn't deactivate if you are in dying state (in case a survivor went for an unsafe save and you get downed off hook immediatly, at least then you have a chanse if the Killer picks you up, or another survivor comes to save you - which they should be. Honestly Borrowed Time is better imo).

But by math and statistic's alone there is no reason - at all. Why you would pause a 60 second immunity timer because you get chased off hook. Tunneling is rarely ever strong, because the only way tunneling gets you anywhere in a match is if the survivors are not doing their objectives.

I agree though the skill check is dumb, and I would like it removed, but I do understand why it's there. A very difficult skill check pushes the less experienced players from being able to utilize the perk as well as experienced players do - like the old Hex: Ruin perk was giving new players a difficult time unless they could more often get great skill checks.

I think real tunneling should be always punished, bit thats just my opinion.

"Pausing the timer just makes chasing any survivor off hook to be

impossible, so then Survivors can't be punished for making mistakes like

unsafe saves, immeditatly jumping on objectives right off coming off

hook (instead of ensuring your safe first)"

This is not true at all, in my proposed change I clearly stated that performing any action (except things like mending) would cause DS to deactivate, to prevent precisely this.

"running at dangerous areas (areas without pallets, or directly into the

killer). Which isn't fair at all, you shouldn't be compesated for your

mistakes. It would be far too easy to exploit."

I dont think so. If survivior is wasting time Tbagging, making noise or starting chase, then let him do it. As long he is not doing his job, I dont care. Killers should also think a bit, not just charge like a madman because someone provokes them with stupid plays or flashlight clicking.

IMO DS is so strong only because it can be used even if killer is not tunneling. You can do gens, unhook, heal, everything, and DS still works. If it disabled under conditions I explained above, then it would be ok

I dont think if it matters that its strong, what matters is that it is unfun for survivior and innefficient for the killer. In short, intentional tunneling is toxic. I say "intentional" because some people say that if you grab someone of a gen or a Trap then its tunneling lol.

If they added disable conditions I mentioned, then I couldnt care less if DS had skillcheck or not, just doesnt matter to me.

DS, BT and unbreakable are basically necessities in the games current climate to be honest.

Literally every other game someone is camping/tunnelling me or a teammate (at red ranks), and if they aren't, then they're slugging everyone.

I try to run different perks but always end up wishing I had one of the aforementioned perks due to the way the game plays out.

I honestly feel like killers drive the meta.

    Ubreakable and BT right.

But DS? Most of the killer streamers I watch often tunnel surviviors early game to disable DS. So basically DS CAUSES TUNNELING, not reduces it.

Yes, it used to have no conditions or timer meaning it was available to use anytime you were picked up. Now it has a 60 second timer only after you have been unhooked.

DS tier 1 and 2 used to have a shorter stun time, now it's a set stun time with a shorter countdown timer after unhook. Also you used to be able to counter it with Enduring to make the stun time shorter, now it no longer counts as a stun.

Well so it didnt really get nerfed...

    Nerf:

    • Only 1 use per game
    • Can be used only 60s after being unhooked

    Buff

    • Stun time increased to 5s at all levels
    • Enduring no longer counters DS
    • Killer can no longer juggle to avoid DS

Yes swf was added. It's also now the main reason why a lot of people play. You purposely being obtuse?

When you buff solo, you ALSO buff swf because they have the same tools. But you can't buff them to the same levels as "knows where the killer is at all times". You can say buff solo all you want but it takes all the guesswork out of the game if they give totem counters and an orange dorito on top of the killers head. Then they might as well give all the killers guns and we know how that worked out.

Giving in-game voice comms is redundant because people already have it. Muting everyone is redundant when I already have that.

What tactical information are people going to give me when they're being facecamped or waiting for all their teammates to die so they can get hatch? The abuse will outweigh the advantages.

    Alright, here's the compromise.

This wouldn't be an issue if they kept the two separate. One matchmaking with comms and allows swf, and another that mode that is randomized with no comms. Randoms get base game, swf get special modifiers that effect the match outcome. I'd be happy with that.

Well what I wantad to say was that SWF was broken ever since it was added, and NOTHING was done to balance it, even though they have clear advantages.

Well obviously. The poont is to buff solo MORE than SWF. For example: Kindred. This perk is COMPLETELY useless for SWFC, as they have that info already, while it helps solo a lot. We need to find more things like this and buff them. We cant make them equal, but we can make tham close. Well obviously killers will need buffs too ig we buff surviviors, that goes without saying.

Well, the point is that ingame voice comms can be used between randoms, and maybe some SWf wouldnt bother to use Discord if they had ingame chat. If you dont like it then you could just disable it like the endgame chat.

This is true, thats why killers should get buffs too. The problem is that SWFC ALREADY have that. IMO it should be a proximity chat that killer can also hear. Not that I am a fan of this solution, I think that would be a bit too far myself. Just saying its possible.

    I have some balance ideas:

    1. Let solo see other survivior perks.
    2. Allow killer to see who is in SWF once the match starts.
    3. Give some debuffs to SWF lobbies, example: max 2 copies of any perk in the SWF lobby, max 1 red/purple item per SWF lobby, something like this.

Taking plain statistics from survivor side doesnt make any sense, as long as you dont separate them for each queue (solo, two-,three-, four-SWF) and each rank. But you dont even know is theyre SWF how organized they are, which also influences perk usage. Even then it doesnt make any sense, due to prestiging characters, which just makes you "must use" other perks. Those statistics you record are useless. Save your time for something useful, like understanding the game and dont be biased.

    Statictically it doesnt matter.

After all, killer doesnt know if he is going against SWF or not, so je has to be ready for every scenario. Statistics let you plan your strategies better, because you onow what is prbablity of something happening

Surprised so many use deadhard since it only works 50% of the time

Eh? Since when do killers want DS nerfed? It was nerfed.

It is no longer an issue imo.

DS was nerfed? And it was last time?

I thought the last update to DS was stun time increased to 5 seconds

Because a good player with keyboard/mouse can destroy any controller player but if you dont know how to use one effectively you're still going to be playing as if you had a controller probally worse

    No?

Survivior on controller is better than on mouse and keyboard
