As survivor i played 2 games at different hours today.
The other survivors was in the same rank as mine (purple) and both killers was in yellow rank. judging by how they played, they are sure new or just starting to get used to the killer role.
Really unfair for them.
-
I also thought about it recently after noticing small details between The shape and Pyramid Head.
The shape has big and weird hands and Pyramid Head has pretty small and nice designed hands.
Small changes from hands to his mask can be nice. but maybe we will see changes on non licensed characters only.
-
If i understand correctly, ranks doesn't mean anything, it depends on 'skill' only.
-
Face between Cheryl and Jill with Elodie's body.
For personal characteristics, i think Zarina. taking care of other's feelings first.
-
I never watched it but the characters are chilling to look at.
I'm interested to see them in game.
-
Sounds like a terrifying killer, i like it.
It reminds me of Chinese horror characters design.
I wish to see your art design for it =) good job.
-
I think the idea behind his game style is to make the survivors more focused and aware while repairing generators, and kind of "psychological" tactics. like i would say "My survivor is under madness and i can see their vision".
I find it fun to play against him as long as the game is not tough with crazy skill checks and non stop madness every a few seconds.
To be honest, i dislike most killers in game because some are lacking Doctor's design. but everyone and what they like to play against.
Sometimes i like chill killers and sometimes killers with a challenge.
-
Any idea when the new models are coming live? 😥
-
I rarely see nice people. i avoid the chat to say something nice, because there will always be someone who will insult me or the others.
I still remember the players i played with once. they apologized for not being able to save me from the hook. i said no problem and we ended this 'conversation' with "have fun and have a good day." it really warmed my heart and i hope to find people like them again.
-
This community is not worse than the other communities i used to play.
-
Good ideas. i like it 🙂
I hope to see these in the future instead of blinding bombs.
-
Yesterday i watched a video by OhTofu that i think can help prevent such games in the future.
I think the problem comes from rank reset and skill based matchmaking. i share the video here with you.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YJPOW7bwgs-
It's possible to lose rank even if they are not trying to lose by force. happens that i fail to reach rank 7 even if i do a good job and wins.
If players come to high ranks and have tough games, i guess the problem is how they want to play, for winning or for fun.
At the same time, need to check if every single player sees high rank killer as an issue.
-
Is there an audio of his Lullaby? he is singing?
The only thing that i could hear is his laugh and terror radius music.

NO. I am so sick of seeing these topics. People who hate the indoor maps don't speak for everybody. I love them, and having diversity in map styles is a GOOD thing. I mean I complain about the stupid swamp maps and Dead Dog Saloon because I hate them but if I were actually asked to vote on their removal from the game I would say no because I recognize that there are others who enjoy them.
I especially hate the arguments that "killers aren't good on this map". I have yet to find a map that I can win every single time because killers are just SO hampered by it. Or "this map has too many pallets". Well, there are other maps that have less. Or "specific killers don't have as much fun on this map". Well, there are other maps that those same killers have loads of fun on.
Don't take this as a direct complaint against YOU but damn, do I tire of people saying "I don't like this style of map so stop making them". No. My opinion is just as valid as anyone else's is and frankly I think that, considering there are like 5 indoor maps to 30 outdoor ones, indoor maps hardly get enough attention as it is.
Well said.
Exactly what i thought. 😞

This post made me cheer up. I really hope to see Clarie as a skin.
If not, Jill is good enough for me.

Here's a tip get out of red ranks there's more RNG that way I went against a clown today and I don't like him but I was so excited to see anything but a spirit or nurse.
Luckily I'm a purple rank player but playing against strong killers and it feels like red ranks already.
-
Leon is going to be the most handsome.
I don't like Ace face =(
-
Not toxic just not fun to play that way.
-
Sometimes he surprises me with his knives even before i heard him approaching. i think it's fair range with Throw weapon and they should do it with Deathslinger as well.
I think his Lullaby is quiet compared to hunters.
-
I'm playing until the end, no matter how annoying it gets.
When the killer manage to hook everyone quickly and there is no time to do gens, sometimes we are lucky to find the hatch and escape.
Every match i came with this mentality.
-
Tiffany and Bob
-
I never complete the challenge where we have to blind the killer.
Either i miss or the timing is not good.
-
I'm sorry, but i really don't know why everyone is fantasizing about her. .
-
I know what is like to get tunneled, for ridiculous reasons or no reason at all. mean behavior and so on.
I came to the conclusion that i have fun playing when i don't care about my points at the end game and not taking personally how the killer wants to play whether it's fair or not.
Same about losing the game, it's not a big deal and this is not going to be the last lose or last victory.
This approach helps me feel not frustrated with this community, and if I'm frustrated it's because of things like tunnelling, face camping that are considered tactics, when in fact it's a mistake to consider it as tactics meanwhile the devs can think of something to stop it from happening and make the game healthier.
-
I like to compare DBD with Identity V for one reason.
Killers are camping the chair every single match and the game is not playable.
Players refuse to play by pre-planned rules, chasing non-stop until killing the survivors. instead it's very easy to use a way to guarantee (Maybe not always) a win.
It's not fair for the survivors and i hope that in the future something will change.
-
BBQ and Chili
-
I haven't played the game for months and these people still behave like that?
Nothing seems to change in this game, no matter how much time passes.
-
People i know find the game difficult and ridiculous. It will take them a while to get used to it if they don't play regularly.
I got used to the game pretty quickly since i was constantly checking information and playing whenever i could. but skill takes time..
I think the game can be tough, there is no way to warm up before the first match.
-
You may not going to agree with me, but with all due respect I think that victory should not be guaranteed to a good killer and good survivor, everyone should win equally.
It's a survival game first and foremost and unexpected moments should not define who won and who lose. I think it's all about luck.
-
Frustrating indeed. there is no future updates about solo survivors and killers strength in general.
I play the game only to feel the "Survival" vibe but not to win.
I'm afraid they will not adress this problem.

It is not hard to see which role has it easy: Killers by a long shot. Play a few matches and you see who struggles to win. Part of the reason is because survivors have been nerfed too much, maps are way too open with not enough pallets or vaults to extend the chase. Way too many deadzones, no way for survivors to defend themselves. Can’t even hide either. It is a serious balancing issue when 9 out 10 matches you play and 3 are on their bellies with only 1 gen is completed at most. Killer perks are mostly busted, especially by a skilled killer. A skilled killer is way too overpowered. It is exactly why Deathgarten flopped. Too competitive and survivors had no chance to win in that game when the killer knew what they were doing.
Evolve didn’t last either for the same reasons. Critics all said it was too competitive and PC Gamer said: “It didn't help that Evolve, a game "that only really works if you're playing with your friends," was $60 when it launched. "Getting your friends to spend a total of $240 on a game is a hard ######### sell," Colville said.
You literally can’t play DBD without 4 friends and even 4 friends struggle to win. That is wrong and the devs need to stop ignoring the elephant in the room, pandering to killers that expect a 4K every match.
All a killer must do now is put on 3 slowdown perks and a tracking perk and cruise control to a 4K. That is not balanced, that’s literally enabling god mode. Killers all need to be nerfed and survivors need to be buffed, and maps need to be more balanced so you don’t need a PHD in looping to last longer than 10 seconds.
I'm not trolling or anything but i really agree with you.
-
They don't always get one kill, especially Bubba.
I saw a lot of them finding other survivors on the gens and gets 3 kills at the end. i don't know how killers find facecamp fun.
I really dislike this type of game 'mechanic' and i find it like cheating.
They don't use their skill and game sense to find other survivors while leaving the hook.
They find it easy to use BBQ with free auras reading.
If we would have a survivor 'mechanic' who camp something, like hatch or gate, and having the ability to stun the killer over and over and the killer can't hit them or stop them.
There is no difference between them.
-
When survivors found the hatch and waiting for me to die.
But the most painful thing is when survivors complained in the chat about what i did in game. some said i did nothing and how useless i was. and if the killer gives me the hatch, the other survivors will find something bad to say about me.
Even when i saved one after the other, did very well, they will complain and say that I'm useless. just because they died out of the result of their mistake or bad luck.
-
I think twice yesterday.
There are more Wraith killers instead =(
-
It's pretty sad when we are not seeing them around.
Lately I'm playing with random Ash and Zarina players, but Jeff and Adam are rare.
Tapp and Quentin are no where to be seen.

Borrowed Time: gives the "Endurance" status effect for 10/12/15 seconds (which really annoys me, btw, flat increases please BHVR) to the unhooked survivor when theyre unhooked within the Terror Radius.
Soul Guard: gives the "Endurance" status effect for 8 seconds after being healed from the dying state.
Recently BT got a change to the timers, it used to be a flat 15 seconds of Endurance then 10/15/20 seconds of Deep Wounds, however the basic functionality hasn't changed since patch 2.4.0, when the "Deep Wounds" status was introduced to the perk.
In other words, Soul Guard has never done that.
I always used Soul Guard and was able to take a hit afterwards. And i remember that the perk was active for at least 5 seconds after unhooking myself, i relied on it every match.
Maybe it was a bug? i really don't know.
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:
Are you sure that was Soul Guard and not someone else's Borrowed Time?
@GannTM said:
Soul Guard only works when recovering from the dying state. Are you getting it mixed up with Borrowed Time?
I'm 100% sure that i had no Borrowed Time effect.
Soul Guard was active all the time and allowed me to take a second hit.
-
I escape if there are a few seconds left. most of the time they hide while waiting for the hatch and for the other survivor to escape.
If they are in the chase and were on the hook 2 times, i have nothing to wait for.
-
I like her cosmetics she is unique in her own way.
-
Need a huge map for this and long queue time.
Beside that it's sounds really nice idea.
-
The survivor list is so true 😌
-
I'm excited but also apprehensive. Pretty annoying to play against him several times in a row, i don't like his knives.
Besides, there's something refreshing in this chapter and we will see maps rework after that.
-
The reasons i know for getting tunneled myself is because, they find me easy to track / catch, they hate the character i use because of their silly reasons, they found me first, I'm the obsession, i have medkit/ key / map, i rescue from the hook.
I also went through games similar to yours and it's very annoying to die on the first hook, when survivors do nothing and the gate is already open.
-
Everyone plays differently and makes the game very hard for others.
Plan your escape when everyone is selfish. i find it challenging and fun sometimes.
-
Quick and quiet and Iron Will helping me for a short time but Spirit always guessing right eventually.
-
When killers are using the strongest perks and offerings and not playing the game for actual enjoyment but to win.
It puts us all in a tough and sweaty game as they say.
-
The game is pretty stressful for my boyfriend and he is not having fun like i do. Unfortunately i can't play with him often because honestly the game is not always fun as a survivor.
Not every game is for everyone. .
-
I would try to find an object with which i could protect myself. with other survivors i would set a plan on how to attack or sneak etc.
Do you know the game called "Last Year; The Nightmare"?
Every student has a role and we can do the same with more cooperation. after all, 4 can definitely kill 1.
I'm not a strong person, I'm quite dependent on the people I'm with but sometimes i have the courage if there is no choice.
I will do everything i can to be quiet and determined.
-
Players find Bubba fun and his BBQ very useful. I also suffer without him when other killers use BBQ, not fun at all.
To be honest, i rather play against doctor 5 times in a row instead of Bubba.
-
Demogorgon, Pig and Trapper.

No it does not. Luck only affects self-unhooking and escaping Bear Traps.
Oops my bad.
