7. Making post on forums in an attempt to criticize others game play or mistakes
Working with the killer isn't really a legit playstyle though is it?
My one would be rescuing someone from a hook then sneaking off behind a rock to hide as the killer comes back and downs the unhooked one again. Take some aggro yourself.
-
I have no idea why they've left them in so long when they're worse than old prayer beads. It's not exactly a reward for skill bc every huntress with it waits until they're directly behind you before throwing it (they could literally just give it a distance requirement), and it's usually ran alongside an ebony mori to make it even more of a 'f*ck you'
-
I dislike going against hag + pig bc it makes me sad to see their powers used stupidly which is often the case. 10 traps in a circle around a hook, tunnelling RBT wearers and bad/no dash attack use, etc etc. Going against someone who plays them properly is excellent but rare.

So its not the killers fault?
Unless the killer broke into the survivor's home irl and personally yanked out their ethernet cable, no. For such a passionate survivor advocate you don't seem very interested in the three remaining ones left to do the work of four after a rage quit.
-

Devs will never acknowledge that "legit killer strats" are the most serious issues survivors face while playing this game, and that the game would be far more interesting without those issues.
A survivor posts about their fondness for ragequitting and you jump in to explain that this is the killer's fault as you do in every thread. You are aware you're just the mirror image of a killer main who thinks old ruin + noed should be base and non-hex right?
-
You can use noed without behaving like a noed killer. Relying on it and doing things like ignoring gens and committing to chases that aren't going anywhere will sound the alarm for any survivor with half a brain, especially if you're playing a killer like wraith.
-
I mean you could have breakable walls for killers and breakable windows (boarded up but need to be broken through to vault) for survivors.

Except it's the killer what whines about it after.
I find it pretty hilarious when a survivor quits because of my yellow mori and goes back to the 15 min queue honestly.
-
Maybe you need to work on your ragequitting and caps lock abuse. I highly recommend yoga.
-
I had a different bug today, I grabbed a pink key with a weaved ring out of a chest today with plunderers + ace and then died keeping the key and the add-on.
-
Idk, it looks cool.
-
We've had a few killers from the past now so a futuristic one would be cool, like a cyborg of some kind.
-
Wraith with decent addons is decent. Base wraith is shite. Although he has good addons you can make some nice combos with he feels sluggish on big maps without windstorm, similar issue to trapper and bags. I don't mind killers being addon dependent unless the dependency is one specific group of addons.
-
As others said there is more swf and survivors can get away with more (i.e. 360) but I'm pretty sure it's much the same otherwise.

It just shows the complete lack of intellect on the forums that OP got any upvotes, my gawd people just read the title, agreed and hit vote up without ever checking the garbage nonsense video posted as "proof" of the statement.
Think ill make a vid like this in the future that 5 seconds in just becomes a Rick Roll and see how many upvotes I get.
We're no strangers to dbd
You know the survivor rulebook and so do I
A gen speed need is what I'm thinking of
I think we've done a pretty good job so far

Even zanshin tactics has a cooldown

Just sit around hooks and bring NOED. It’s the easy way to play.
What kind of advice is that?
-
I'm all for moris and keys getting nerfed into the ground at the same point. As someone who plays both sides it's a good indicator someone is really biased if they think one is fine and the other isn't.

I was speaking about this last night, so it's a strange coincidence that you posted it.
I had a match with Mr. YeeHaw on Yamaoka Estate and the survivors had 3-genned themselves and it was 2 Blendette's who were left. I am not exaggerating when I say that about 10/15 minutes passed before I found one of them. Neither of them touched a single gen in that entire time and unless you're playing as Doctor, how am I supposed to see them hiding inside of bushes? I only found one of the Blendette's because she moved a tiny bit when I was nearby and I heard the grass move, but this was only because I was playing through a headset that I heard her, otherwise, God knows how much longer the match would have gone on for.
Obviously, the last Blendette got the hatch. Although legend has it that she's still sat in a bush somewhere.
Mate I had two urban evasion/spine chill gamers left on haddonfield the other day who'd 3 genned themselves and managed to stay out of sight and away from the gens for like 20 minutes. Turned out one had a key and they were looking for the hatch but as it was near a gen it took them a while. Fun & interactive!

Not all the perks I listed I said were bad bad. The ones that I didn’t say were bad were just mediocre or there’s just other perks that do what it does better.
I still wish they'd improve some of them a bit anyway. Surge doesn't need to be basic attack only etc
-
Some of the perks you listed aren't bad. Surge saved my ass the first time I used it - trapper on Ormond, two injured survivors committing to the last gen, both with adrenaline and I only had time to hit one. Gen never got finished + they died. Blood echo I do only use on legion and plague yeah but it means less dealing with exhaustion perks and seems to make survivors more inclined to heal/cleanse. Better together means less survivors leading the killer to you while you're trying to get a gen done, second wind has too many conditions for my liking but it's a decent time saver. Have you tried them all out yourself?

I've been running Pop, BBQ, STBFL, and M&A with pretty good results. Out of roughly 25 games I've only had 1 0k, 1 1k, 3 2k, and the rest have been 3 and 4. But I also used to play fps games which helps.
I'm not a big fan of the majority of his addons, but the best for my play style is one reload addon and one stun reduction addon (so I dont lose 2 stacks of stbfl when I find the obsession I let them break out of the first shot.)
I kind of want to try pwyf as well but after 2.5 mil BP spent it still hasn't shown up. I've heard that shooting them and letting them break free doesn't lose you a stack.
Pwyf is one of the first perks I got on him + you heard right
-
The gearhead nerf was bizarre, as is the practice of adding a cooldown to as many perks as possible (zanshin tactics def op otherwise).
The devs are getting better at balancing stuff imo but when it comes to perks I think they make decisions with a magic 8-ball.
-
I've started walking through those bushes as killer, sometimes you bump into stuff that feels like it shouldn't be there.

Big difference. People actually cleanse now. It's great
I'm having a great time with her rn, just did her adept. Since the change she might be the only killer without any useless addons.

Scrapped tape is the reason why I ended up with over 600 Iridescent Queens. It's such a bad add-on, and I never purposely bought it in bloodwebs, much less ever used it, I only had so many of them because they were in the path to better add-ons. Bringing it back is going to have a similar impact on my inventory, only now it costs more. They could've at least made it so that the inner 3 meter circle is where it will hit 8 meters away from doc making it a max 7m circle with range add-ons. The whole "Ring" thing makes it so bizarre to handle or hit survivors with, and if you add the range increase add-ons they just make it a huge ring with an even bigger center area of safety which becomes ridiculously difficult to hit survivors with. I have no Idea who actually likes this stupid thing, or why, and this is coming from someone who has loved/mained Doc since his release.
On the bright side, now you have 600+ iridescent queens

If it would work like in F13th I would have nothing against voice communication in DbD.
Hmm I once got a Jason who kept saying "I'm coming to get you" in a really squeaky voice and I'm not sure I need to experience that again
-
I don't think any of that is bannable. Not holding the game hostage bc would have bled out from slugging eventually, not mori spam bc afaik that's only when it's done for minutes on end to prevent bleeding out. The gf was a total wanker but we're allowed to do pretty much whatever to each other in this game unless it's hacking/exploit level.
-
Flip-flop, Ash's other bullshit second chance perk. Of course toxic survivors think lying on the floor for a bit entitles them to deny me a hook and as usual the devs refuse to even comment on how broken this perk is.
Nah, it's OoO.
edit - @GrootDude I didn't see your comment, you get it
-
A pink-haired nea was hiding in one earlier. Why should bushes just be for blendettes anyway?
-
The 4 pallet stuns in one trial from last tome was a nightmare for me, only challenge I've had to basically throw the game for.
-
The ones that say "too ez" etc are the same ones that DC or suicide when they encounter a killer who can deal with them anyway.
-
It would be nice to compensate the other survivors somehow but pretty much any form of that would be exploitable by swf.
Also disconnecting is uncommon now, it's usually hook suicide, which gets into even more complicated territory. Giving a bonus to the other survivors if one kills themselves or were facecamped to death on first hook would be nice, but then they would also probably end up getting rewarded for just letting a teammate die on first.

Karen will be quiet once she finishes her dinner.

welcome to the club
-
I miss old RM. I don't see why the change couldn't be reverted, they could have it deactivate if there's only one survivor remaining if that's the concern.
-
They need to give him an ACOG.
-
Haven't got to play on it as killer yet, the haddonfield offerings haven't helped. Who gets on dbd on the day of a new map release and starts using those?

She's still in, as are the Trapper changes. They fell through the cracks for the patch notes. I'll see if we can get them updated.

Break 4 Pallets with Spirit Fury in one match. I knew its gonna take a while, because that's 12 dropped pallets, so I farmed with the survivors. I cannot thank my fellow survovirs enough.
It didn't have to be -with- spirit fury, you just need to break them by any means with the perk equipped. Kicking, chainsaws, demo shred, hopping over them with iri legion (what I did) etc
-
I was on comms with another survivor once going against a pig and after doing it she left me alone the entire match and tunnelled the crap out of him instead. He was so confused and angry <3
"Why isn't she going for you?? ######### is 'boop the snoot' supposed to mean??"
Good times.
-
I wouldn't mind it getting buffed but i'd miss it a lot on plague and legion if it was reworked into something else.
-
While maps remain unbalanced map offerings should be disabled.
-
Pig is the killer I'm best with, i.e. against decent red rank survivors I'd be more confident of getting a 4k with pig than spirit. The most important thing is learning her dash attack, there's no point using it constantly and it's a waste to not use it at all but on certain semi-safe loops you can use it in a way the survivor has to leave or there's a good chance of you hitting them if they don't. Sadly most pigs I come across as survivor don't use it well (and it isn't that hard either) and do other weird sh#t like crouching everywhere + only going after already trapped survivors.
Apart from making her traps slightly less RNG-based I wouldn't want to see much change to her base. Add-ons need a big rework though, most of hers are just bad.
-
Since matchmaking is worse than ever I sometimes message the newer players something nice if they clearly had a rough time, if their settings allow it. Most appreciate it.

I swear to Batman, if they keep giving us Grab Challenges, while this is still an issue, I'm gonna be really upset.
There's a grab challenge on level 2 of this tome that I haven't bothered with yet. I don't know if out of lockers counts, but I haven't managed to grab survivors otherwise since servers came to ps4
-
First thing I did after egc was introduced was wait cloaked on the hatch for the last survivor and kick it shut when they were almost there.
I then gave them the door because I'm not that mean, but anyway yes you can do it.
