Thrill of the hunt having its notification removed seemed like an unnecessary nerf until artist was released soon after
-
Yeah I've been seeing more obvious ones :/ and potentially some subtle ones, I really don't how how to tell for sure, and I don't ever want to accuse someone of cheating when they're not. It fosters paranoia regardless.

If Distortion pops and you are near another survivor, you have 10 seconds to split from them. Distortion covers your scratch marks during the 10 seconds it is active.

The joys of having no scratch marks for 10 seconds is you have 10 seconds to absolutely leg it
Another annoying part of lack of solo communication is I bring distortion or object then when I see LP I want to warn the person I spawn with but my frantic teabagging and pointing is interpreted as me just saying hi 😭
-
please mr killer run a 4th slowdown instead
-
I can't play dredge without haddie's calendar, just feels like I'm spending half the game pawing at the inside of a locker otherwise
-
They shouldn't be a thing, they should've been reworked into something different instead of just nerfed.
Not saying it's OP, I don't think it is anymore. I just don't think it's interesting for either side. Other iri is even duller.
My choices would be more like:
Iri head: reduces hatchets by 2, hatchets that hit from >24 metres away will instadown.
Soldier's puttee: increases huntress' speed to 115. Huntress' lullaby is suppressed when undetectable. Hitting an injured survivor with a hatchet at a distance of <24 metres will cause deep wounds instead of downing.
-
STBFL doesn't annoy me to go against but even if it did, I'm in favour of killers not bringing slowdowns. I don't really like Franklin's, or noed, or even bamboozle really, but it means they aren't dedicating all 4 perks in their build to make gens take half an hour to complete so it's a reluctant 👍
-
That does sound good if you're getting tunnelled as long as it's not directly off hook, then it's sadly not gonna do much
-
I mean I was playing killer for the first time in a while last night, EU servers, 100% killer bonuses kicked in soon after I started playing and stayed that way for the rest of the night (although my queues were still kinda slow?) and I was doing my usual no slowdown thing, and I took a battering. For the most part, very strong teams with a shitton of hours combined.
This isn't a "swf bad" rant, I also got a couple of extremely solo queue games where someone dc'd at 5 gens or threw in some other pointless way, my preference would be the other side actually putting in some kind of effort. Plus the games were fun, they were nice enough opponents, chatted with them in postgame and visited their streams etc
But I'm mainly responding to the "SWF don't stomp anymore" but of course they do. Taking a bunch of good survivors (better than me, honestly) who can wreck you before 6.1.0., they don't instantly turn into a pile of helpless baby mice crawling over each other until put out of their misery because pallets are kicked 10% faster, gens take 10 seconds longer and the rest.
There are other factors (I'm very rusty, I had been hanging out with a friend and had a few drinks, late night EU on the weekends is wild) but the point still stands, I think.

Welcome to 2022 where despite how sweaty a build may seem I don’t blame survivors for using tools/perks after patch 6.1.0 where gens take 50 seconds longer and scummy strats we’re solidified to work better than before.
Doing 5 gens does not take 50 seconds longer. The only way that would be the case is if only one gen was ever worked on at a time, with no more than one survivor on it.
-
No, I don't expect insidious on huntress.
But I had a plague with sloppy butcher yesterday so all bets are off.
-
I wouldn't really equate being nodded at and being forced to bleed out, although fixing the latter would be nice
-
For me dbd at its best isn't necessarily about fear but really close games where it feels it could go either way for most of the match, which is still pretty tense

I've went against this but on wesker and it's pretty deadly since it leaves you more vulnerable to his tentacle
How does it leave you more vulnerable? I've been busy so haven't really played much as or against him

You are on comms with yourself
Sounds like it would be a balance issue. I play dbd the way it was meant to be played - with very little info on what I'm actually doing

I still want to see graphs for Solo, 1 SWF, 2 SWF, 3 SWF, and 4 SWF…. And graphs that visualize how the data changes with MMR level.
1 man SWF? 🤨

My issues are the lighting in the house (at this point I'm just gonna have to put Nvidia filters back on, which I took off when they nerfed Claudette), the multiple very strong windows/strong setups in general, and little bits of shrubbery made out of diamonds just as a 🖕to anyone who felt like playing a ranged/chainsaw killer.

Cannibal holocaust or human centipede

Let survivors detonate BM remotely so we can get saves with it 😈

I love lethal on almost all of my killers but my main ( spirit ) i dont use it. At least when killer has lethal they wont have 4 gen defense perks right? Lethal usually means the killer has another aura reading perk to go with it. Or is this not allowed eather, maybe killers need to just be perkless.
Just don't use slowdown perks, aura perks, instadown perks or chase perks, and you'll be fine. Stealth perks might be alright. For now.

It wouldn't have changed anything. Op is just angry because he got 2 kills instead of 4.
What I assumed really. Even if the survivor didn't have enough time to get out the gate, lithe would also have worked in this instance so 🤷
-
Am I missing something in this video? What exactly would be different if that survivor didn't have DH?
-
The one thing I don't like or understand about overheat is that it is clearly intended as a punishment for overusing & misusing your chainsaw - fine, but there always was a punishment for that already built in.
You try to chainsaw a healthy survivor multiple times and mess it up = you have a healthy survivor that you could've just m1ed twice by this point in time.
But the overheat isn't what I dislike about playing billy, it's the map design mostly, the indoor maps and the random twigs made out of pure steel on newer maps (pretty abominations like garden & eyrie), the general clunky feeling of playing him, the jank, that stupid ######### roar, and the irritating knowledge while playing him that the roster has plenty of similar killers who can typically get better results for less effort.

A survivor who is unhooking another survivor are 2 survivors not doing gens
A survivor going up to within 6 metres of a hkkked survivor are also 2 survivors not doing gens, and that person will still need to be unhooked at some point
-
None of that is reportable except possibly endgame chat, depends on how far they're going. Blocking doesn't stop you being matched with someone either
-
It could do with buffs but recently there's been a lot of perks introduced/buffed which increase gen speed, which is an effect that should be used with caution.
-
I played for the first time since the patch yesterday, got 1 wesker out of my 5 survivor games who was in position to actually grab me exactly one time and then blinked through me like a nurse, that put me off trying him myself.
-
If you have exponential nearby they'll often go kick it first giving enough time to hit the amount required with flip flop and power struggle. Pretty fun but still niche and requires 3 perks. 4 really, you should bring circle of healing to not get shouted at for just running exponential
-
I like how these started as one word then got progressively longer
-
auras showing in lockers, snapping out of madness showing up on nurses calling, that godawful window on ironworks of misery (although garden of joy has several of those lmao)

You'll have a hard time justifying why giving survivors a free escape in the endgame is a good thing but giving a killer free kill is bad.
And no, if all four survivors are alive in the endgame that doesn't mean anything. You can get there with 0 hooks or 5-6 hooks, the latter means only that you played fair.
Survivor: I'm sick of being camped and tunnelled at 5 gens
Killer: gets to endgame with 8 spread out hooks
Survivor: omg what an actual noob xd
I will never understand what some survivors actually want out of a match because they seem to have no clue themselves.
-
Theres no gens left to protect, there's nothing else to do apart from try to just kill you.
I can get being annoyed at being camped or tunnelled at 4/5 gens, because you can end up barely having a chance to play the game.
But after all gens the game is about to end anyway and you've stayed alive the whole time. If I'm playing survivor I don't want the killer to go stand in the corner while we all finish healing and leave, the frantic endgame sweat is fun. Sorry you don't see it that way though.
-
Because artist is awesome and hag is not. I don't forget those basement matches so easily. Hag should be 4.2. Not for any balance reasons, just as punishment.
-
I would prefer it stay at the current values in endgame, but idc that much
-
It must be broken, I've done plenty of these and iirc doc and clown's powers, hits, hooking the survivor, and perks like infectious and iron maiden should all count
-
It's an easy win. I personally won't, but running no mither is basically wearing a sign saying "PLEASE TUNNEL ME"
Object of obsession too, bonus points if you run them together.
As for that challenge I'd recommend either SWF or skip

@Hex_Ignored said:
No killer is safe from becoming "not fun to play against" except m1 killers with a weak power
Not really, I don't find trapper or clown fun to go against
-
And when they play survivor they'll be a delight to go against I'm sure. No one seems to grasp this because the forum likes to pretend everyone plays one side or the other but the Feng clicking at you all match and the wraith beating you on hook are probably the same person.
-
I often do, if I didn't spectate I would've missed out on a lot of "just leave!" moments. Especially escaping through the gates after making sure everyone else was healthy and accounted for then watching them somehow convert that into a 3k

He is very easy to play that's why. Both survivors and most killers hate Nurse, but most players can play Blight. This community is mostly casuals.
Yes the community for this casual game is full of dirty casuals. Can we not turn this into yet another thread about nurse and why she does/does not basically need a master's degree to be able to play.
-
@Regulus47 said:
The epitome of double standards as a killer. Very little counterplay if the player is decent, busted addons and perk synergy, as strong as nurse with the right build in the right hands, and utter tripe to play against. And yet this community apparently loves him.
He's more fair than nurse but that isn't a high bar to cross. I think making him 4.4m/s would fix a lot of his issues.
Apart from certain addons I feel the versing blight experience has gotten much better now ruin/undying/tinkerer is dead and buried.

I am not sure if I am alone, but I REALLY love playing him on the Game. Even though I am a sus Blight, that map makes me feel like I know what I am doing.
You're not alone it's my favourite blight map. Hate it on most others although blood favour plague is also a laugh there

One day when I got a Wraith daily ritual, just for the lulz of it I once equipped the meme add-on, which I actually had never tried before, ie the one that lets you generate a terror radius while being cloaked, and holy guacomole, did it mess with the survivors perception and made them run around like headless chickens. It won't do jack against good, experienced survivors, but a lot of the chaff won't know how to react as this isn't what they got used to.
it can be pretty fun. Also I once got invisi-camped by a wraith running it who had clearly just thrown on a couple of browns without looking at what they do

That's the distance I like my nurses at

I'm actually really interested, why did they decide to make Blight 115%? Did the devs ever justify this? Even Spirit is 110%.
IMO if devs followed their own logic Blight would have been a 110% movement speed killer YESTERDAY.
Hag, spirit, trickster, slinger, and huntress can all use their powers to get a hit at low round loops that they would have to otherwise run around in a circle over and over and over again. Blight can't barring exploits or a convenient bit of debris nearby

How long is the Dead Hard's window, then? Is the French version correct or is it the English version? I think, we may need a developer or somebody to let us know..
