I don't bring more Franklins or Cut coins, but I definitely bring more Lightborn - I used to run it on some killers, now I use it on almost everyone. Not because there's something wrong about flashlights now, but because there's more flashlights.

The problem is that I hate camping. 😅
Then Hag is not for you in current meta, I'm afraid
I used to main her and she was more fun before since you could put your traps in key points and win through pressure by wounding survivors a lot, but since CoH was released you just have to camp. It is even worse now with new DH.
-
As a killer I am getting thrown into red ping lobbies quite often for some reason. I'm not using vpn.
-
You want to have fun with Hag - learn tricks you can do with her power and camp bigger area. That's it.

I'm fairly positive you can just hold down the left mouse button and it will fire the first available moment.
You can't as Demo though, it starts m1
-
How exactly would you even script it the way it benefits you lol. Always releasing your power the moment it's ready will hurt you way more than help.
-
Russia is connected to the same servers though, why would you be surprised. It's not like Amazon has servers in Russia.
-
Same. I didn't think BHVR would be able to make a map I would hate more, but they managed to do it somehow. Not only the new map has bad gameplay, it also looks ugly and makes everything hard to see. Horrible map in every aspect possible.
-
Remember: BHVR actively makes maps that make killers want to chase less. They intentionally put on every new map a loop or two that killer just can't afford to engage against a survivor with 2 brain cells if they don't have decent anti-loop. So every chase you take has a risk to be completely failed, and since we have boons, pressure you can get by wounding survivors is meaningless. Killers ara adapting to the game by taking less chases.
-
Fun but mediocre, a killer to use some weird builds.
-

And this is a bad thing why? Knight dropping a guard instantly took no skill and had next to no counterplay if there wasn't a pallet immediately near the loop to run to. Seems like they're incenticising a more dynamic way to play him
It is incentivising the way of playing him that doesn't require to put guards fast.
That's right, camping the hook.
Very dynamic.
-
For me it is like that for killer, for survivor it is a lottery: sometimes its Nurse, Nurse, Nurse, Spirit, Blight, Nurse, and sometimes its some Legion playing for the first time while the incentive is +100% in both cases.

Hitting a good survivor once is infinitely easier than flashlight saving against a good killer.
It doesn't matter if it feels like that

Then its unlucky.
Why do Killers think they are entitled to get a Hit once they found a Survivor, get a Down once they injured them, get a pickup once they downed them and get a Hook once they picked them up?
So many things can happen in between and this is just how the game works. Otherwise we can start to say that Killers just have to look at a Survivor and then this Survivor gets teleported to a Hook.
This is the same thing as a question "why survivors think they are entitled to be unhooked against Bubba"
Some things are unfun and don't feel right. Flashlight saves in particular sometimes don't feel right, because flasligt saves require way less effort than getting a hit on good survivor and they have no reliable counterplay in some situations because of how generous flashlight blind angles are, and now the timing is also generous.
-
Midwich. This is one of the few maps that don't feel bullshit to ant side and the visual design is great.
-
I P3'd the Knight so I am back to Wesker now since the Knight is bugged and boring. I guess other people do the same.

It could have been the Archive bug that eats your progress if you didn't re-select it after starting the game.
Select another challenge, then re-select the stun one to be sure.
It's probably that. I'm gonna check.
-
Yeah, I'm experiencing the same thing. I've seen more fatshaming points in last two days than in last two years
-
Cap on slowdown? Sure, right after applying extra 30 seconds on gen time, survivors gonna like it.
-
New map is bad in every aspect: it hurts my eyes, I can't see scratch marks and pallets, not speaking about survivors, its just broken in terms of being stacked with pallets, and it also looks as a pile of random assets. The worst map BHVR made so far.
-
Pig. Seriously. Just overwhelm survivors with side objectives
-
Yes, for shards
I wouldn't buy it for money though, I was thrilled for a knight killer but I don't think BHVR nailed it. I expected the knight to be about brutal strength and not summoning stuff.
-
Ignore the main building unless you are sure you can get a hit or the pallet near the side entrance.
Don't overcommit to survivors, take a couple of pallets and go for someone else, next time connecting tiles won't be as convenient.
Also tunnel and camp if you can, this map isn't designed for a fair game.
-
Well, you need to do a bit of everything.
If the hook is in an area with strong tiles or if there's no gens around just leave it.
Otherwise check on gens around but don't forget about the hook.
If you know where to find a vulnerable survivor it is a good idea to go after him.
Also you should be focused on hooking two survivors and others are just an obstacle, keep that in mind.

With regards to the recent PTB, the timing on there was bugged as it definitely allowed the blinds to happen too early.
Part of the reasoning for adding the buffer is to allow for latency, as we all know when latency is present what the survivor sees is not necessarily the position the killer is in, and as timing is key for the flashlight blind to go through and get the save, which is why we often see reports of bugs where on the survivor side the timing is pretty much perfect however latency has said otherwise - by having the buffer in place, that should resolve that issue as well as helping out some newer players.
So, if latency issues are being fixed, I'm gonna ask: when will we see Doctor's shocks being validated?

If the Killer can reach a Scourge Hook so often, they can also reach a different Hook than the closest. Meaning, it is possible for Killers to go for a different Hook than the closest one. The only time I see an area without ANY Hooks is when the Killer hooked multiple people in the same area, which 100% can be avoided by not picking the closest Hook, but one more in the center of the Map.
The same way like Survivors are responsible for 3-Gens and Deadzones, Killers are responsible for Hook-Deadzones. If they dont want to use a few braincells to not create a Deadzone for themselves (again, they can totally be avoided), then it is up to them if they messed up.
1) Midwich wants to know your location
2) Also RPD
3) Also sabo squads want you to come to the center of the map more

You actually can herd survivors, but also the killer decides where they down people, and chooses between multiple hooks, if hooks dont break you could pick your 3 gen and never leave and always use the same hook all match.
Eh, this isn't true. If a survivor locates the hook deadzone and runs there every time he hears the terror radius as a killer you can't do anything.
-
With current map design? Blight.

He picks up dead survivors' clothes.
This makes me think. All of his outfits should be torn in someway showing how the fallen survivors died.
Maybe he picks ones who got a heart attack

I disagree. As the killer, you can hit the survivor, then they lose collision, and you can go through them. Survivors have no way of doing this to a killer. And BHVR seems to agree, as bodyblocking a survivor in a corner is bannable and bodyblocking a hooked survivor isn't bannable, but has been patched out via map redesign every time it's been possible (widening basement stairs, removing hook from top of old RPD library).
They lose collision and then what? You don't get anything.
And no, as a killer you can bodyblock survivor going for the unhook, this is absolutely doable. You can bodyblock windows as well. As long as you don't block someone in the corner this is fine, and, as you are saying, you had a way to get around the killer, you just decided to go wrong way where killer outplayed you.
-
Survivors can bodyblock the killer to prevent him from getting hooks, it is fair for the killer to be able to bodyblock survivors to prevent unhooks. Both sides can play this game, so this is fine.

Tbh, I was waiting for this comment.=)
Now look. I have a friend, who knows that the nurse and blight are the strongest killers in the game, but he just don't like them nor how they look, nor their gameplay. He just can't learn how to play them, and he don't really want to, but he likes Pyramid head, and he's doing much better with him.
When he plays Pyramid head, he almost 4k in every match, but when he plays nurse, he can't even 2k. For him, a paid character is much better than OG one.
Pay to win? For me, it's a clear pay to win case.
It's pay to play character you like

I heard that for Hags its tough to teleport to traps if there are multiple floors. I heard one complained about Midwich which surprised me. Granted, I never dared to play Hag yet. I'll wait for bots
Midwich is the best map for Hag lol

I knew its survivor sided. But whenever I go there, I specifically get blasted there and I wondered am I bad, because I always lose there and feel miserable there.
Well, there is a thing about bad maps - killers will play more mean if they get them. If you know you can't afford a lot of chases it is always better to camp or tunnel someone. Like, you play Trapper and its Eerie of Crows? Time to camp the first person who gets to the hook.
So this keeps those maps kinda manageable for killer. It is just unfun for everyone.
-
Yeah, Garden of Pain feels bad. Absolutely broken main house, stupid fence loop in the corner, tons of safe pallets, good luck playing killer with no anti-loop.
-
Today I played 10 survivor games, I escaped 2 times and one of those killer DC'd right before obliterating us and another game I had a super good team that was getting super crazy flashlight saves, and that was a 2k still. If you want to speak about how the other side feels - this is why people say this game is killer sided.
-
Those aren't "oops. Pre-drop the pallet and hold shift+w.

If you have terrible internet or ancient hardware yes, there is a chance you are going to have a delay loading into the game.
It's not rocket science.
It is not as clear to me. Why player loading isn't coordinated by server? Just keep players on the rolling screen longer.

isn't that a problem with your device tho.
Why do you think so?
-
And this is why I never play without Corrupt Intervention. Survivors can start completing their objective before you even load into the game.

Its funny, if its a hook situation, its never the killers fault. If its a 3 gen, its automaticly survivors fault.
Some killers play the game just to have a 3 gen, to have an easier time. Hook plays were something you can work and get.
And no, i'm not making that up. I'm pretty sure they either added some extra hook or made the placement a little bit more dense, to avoid unhookable spots.
Dont get me wrong, unhookable spots aren't cool either. But 3 gens shouldnt be a thing. There should be more gens.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3241664#Comment_3241664
Oh look. Someone who doesnt read or only read what he wants... i wrote add 2 gens.
Sorry, it's hard to make it to the end of such hot take.
No, this solves nothing. More gens = killer can't patrol them = the entire game has to be rebalanced = 120 second gens = survivors complaining about 5-gen
-
How do you remove 3 gens lol
You want to leave just 2 gens for the entire trial?
-
For me it is a completely random thing. I might give hatch to the best player because I'm impressed or to the worst out of pity, or to the character I like, or don't give it to the character I don't like (no hatch for Davids and Steeves ever).
-
This is the only fun part of playing Hag and people already say she's boring. No, camera rotation has to stay.
-
Poop sickle as it was supposed to look like.

But that's the whole point of running Franklin's... Due to last second switching more Killers are running Franklin's even before they load into the pre-match lobby
But now think of Killers... They just got done with (whatever number) of match(es) of seeing how strong Items got the Survivors to all escape... and then they read up on Franklin's (or watch a video on it)... Franklin's was designed to make Survivors think twice about carrying an Item
You mean, at least once?

With every post like this I want to run Franklins more

Jesus, a tile killer can play around. Unacceptable!
