If this was a thing, killers would just stand at the hook and wait. Once off, survivor goes back on hook.
Survivor would go on the floor for 60 seconds and then back on the hook.
This wouldn't improve anything gameplay-wise for either side.

Ok, i can´t remember any fart sounds or slurs from back when i played R6 with ingame voice chat. I can remember some people eating and some kids or a vacuum cleaner. But nothing what you describe.
They could adapt the "did you have fun" button and turn it into a "was your teammates voice chat annoying" or something like that. So those people would end up getting matched against each other.
My experience with r6 voice chat was mostly someone breathing heavily into the mic the whole game, people who are silent except when screaming about stealing each others kills or something equally unimportant, family arguments and dogs barking in the background, and the occasional person giving useful information and then getting TK'd for it
-
I don't think many people say that. I don't know why anyone would want it removed if hiding and holding W are the other options

I don't know why people would want NOED changed/nerfed so hard, it's one of the perks that can be just disabled from being active even more knowing the boon meta.
But now we go to the subject of "doing totems is a waste of time" just like a killer would say "start destroying totems and stop gen-rushing" then we have the survivors "unoptimal play".
Meh.
I would say it's stronger since boons since solo survivors have gone from breaking dulls they see without necessarily going out of their way to look for them to ignoring them completely.

Cool but can we see so yassified Ace???
Funnily enough I was just accused of hacking by an Ace 🙄

I wouldn't miss teammates unhooking without BT and then dead harding out the way so the unhooked person goes down again.

There is definitely a difference between the amount of things the Killer needs to know, versus the amount of things the Survivor needs to know. While people calling out hacks when they see Mad Grit is really funny, it also shows that Survivors straight up don't know what some Killer perks do -- not to say either side should be expected to know what every single #########' perk does down to the tiniest details, but you should at least know enough about each perk to not accuse someone using them of hacking while having hundreds of hours in the game.
It's always fun getting to watch TTV vods back after playing against them with lesser-known perks. Dark devotion is a good choice for it.

We do now

Is yassified Pyramid Head possible?
(and David King of course)
I doubt it (to PH) I tried dredge, nemesis and clown and they all weren't recognised as faces. Doctor did work and turned out looking weirdly racist so I will not be sharing that one with the class

You forgot to add “it’s needed against Nurse or you die in 20 seconds” which is a very fair argument.
I feel that's more of an argument for nerfing nurse, unless we accept that people who play m1 killers should have to go against DH every match just because a different killer exists.
It ends up pretty cyclical too - "I have to run the meta because it's the only way to deal with nurse" "I have to play nurse because it's the only way to deal with all these second chance perks" etc etc
Also good to see you back btw @TheGannMan :)
-
I don't have a whole lot going on today
-
I mean I'll still play demo. I like dredge's teleportation more, but I like demo's anti-loop more.
-
I tried to do dredge but it wouldn't recognise it as a face :(
-
I also tried as Myers :(
It was a fun game at least

yes let's not have behaviour pull a ubisoft where they nerf stuff based on pick rates
As long as they don't take away spirit's frag grenades
-
Same. Started challenge, played a game of Myers, hit 5-6 survivors while in tier 3, zero progress made.
PC- steam
Map was dead dawg saloon
Perks were Lethal persuer, hex: plaything, eruption, monitor & abuse

I doubt my rig could even support that. My CPU is so outdated that it occasionaly leads to lag/framedrops and ingame-sound cutting off entirely. I can't imagine how much worse my performance would get if I tried running a recording tool on top of that. I'm already playing at low settings, too.
Some software lets you save clips after playing rather than recording along which is probably less intensive
-
No. But if we're going against a legion or a plague and I hear the boon notification noise for the 5th time before a gen has been done I start to wish I had.

You're missing the point. If it takes 3-4 gens to get the first down then I have no other choice but to camp since they clearly genrushed. The low bp scores reflect this as well. Also what exactly am I supposed to do during lategame if there are no gens left to protect anyway? Camping is the only option.
Why don't you post a video of your gameplay here and other people who play plague may be able to give some suggestions?
-
Bird tech
-
Okay, well if it hits you with lethal rush it probably isn't dredge

Machinist. They toned it down a little with this level but I remember in a recent tome it was finish 3 generators in a single trial.
Wasn't it finish 4 at one point or was that just a nasty fever dream

Since we're talking Plague, I have a random question: How is Dying Light on her?
I know DL isn't regarded as a good perk generally, and may not be useful to OP if the issue is getting hooks in the first place, but a while back there was a post suggesting which killer best uses certain perks and it lists Dying Light for Plague.
That got me thinking about how Plague basically negates one of Dying Light's big weaknesses (the healing boost granted to the Obsession).
Has anyone tried it on Plague (I don't have it on her myself).
I've used dying light and blood echo quite a lot on her in the past. Dying light as you said doesn't give the obsession any real bonuses and paired with thana can slow things down a lot if you hit them hard early. Blood echo in my experience will push them towards cleansing even quicker than thana will, if that's what you want.
-
Dedicated servers can mess you up but otherwise she's good, especially since the buffs. I've played her since release too, she's probably my 2nd or 3rd most played.
Try doing something different. If I spawn next to a corrupted fountain at the start of the game sometimes I just grab it and go ham at the start of the match. Pretty high risk but high reward. And maybe slug a bit more if gens are flying.
And do yourself a favour and maybe just leave the chat alone.

....... This almost never happens. What are you on?
I get given hatch when I'm the last one around 1/10 times and the thing @Predated described has happened to me like, twice ever in 4+ years.

@NerfedFreddy said:
"Change is bad because I can no longer assert the dominance, be toxic and close the hatch in survivor's face"
Say what you will but standing on top of the open hatch cloaked as wraith then kicking it shut when they're nearly there is hilarious
(then I let them have the door bc I'm nice really)
-
Missed opportunity not putting some of the newer killers in.
Imagine dredge in a bikini, its many weird little arms slathering you in suncream. Perfect summer romance
-
Generally yes. I wouldn't say that perks like BT or corrupt are necessarily overpowered but if they did nerf them while also addressing why people bring them that would be a good thing. I would be happier with a game where perks in general were weaker -BUT- none of them felt mandatory to bring.
-
@Mr_K said:
Either a new meta emerges or every perk is equally bad.
There's a lot of perks in the game that aren't bad, they're just not going to consistently win games for you. Which is probably what perks should've been in the first place.

that steve perk would make it less effective if as soon as you got unhooked you were healed if you healed another survivor fully prior to getting hooked @Peanits
That's still just fixing game issues with perks, though
-
I did vote for this I wasn't being serious though 😅
-
Did Almo's comment just vanish?
-
The meta perks are already boring.
-
Congrats on unlocking the queen 🤮
-
They're generally going to want to mention things that all sides of the community like rather than something that's going to upset a lot of people and overshadow the whole event.
-
Well they brought a streamer so they actually got 34 points. Hope they didn't spend them all at once

Yes, I know, there shouldn't be too many kills from Condemned. The fact is that right now this feature just feels way too weak and not good, and can be easily ignored by survivors for the most part. Who designs something like this? (it might work for low MMR) one can only shake one's head....
I'm surprised survivors actually keep paying attention to condemned once they're on death hook. I usually just let myself get full stacks at that point and Sads will often then drop whatever she's doing and potentially throw the game just to get me. There's barely any benefit but it's not something they get to do often so they can't resist.
-
@legacycolt said:
Yeah I agree. DH is necessary against certain killers.
If the winrates of some killers spike after DH getting nerfed then they can get looked at as well. It's not really fair for those who play trapper, pig, clown etc to have to face a perk they're not really equipped to deal with because nurse exists.
-
Do they usually announce nerfs on anniversary streams?
-
I don't think she's that badly designed...aka she needs buffs not a rework
-
Had one Yoichi instantly DC after being downed for the first time mid-match yesterday. If he'd been paying attention he could've noticed I am wretched at Artist (hence the practice) and was flinging away an easy 4E. I will never understand this specific kind of ragequitting.

2nd shadow nerf in a row for wraith then...
Remember they shadow nerfed "Shadow dance" not that long ago to make it stop working with lockers despite the add-on saying it does...
And the devs wonder why Players(Especially killer players) don't trust them...
Yeah I'm usually skeptical of calling shadow nerf on things but that was really weird when bhvr were saying that it had never even said that in the addon description even though I was pretty certain it did. Just searched for old videos where people might've used it and shown the description by searching "pallet kicker wraith" and it's right there
-
@Xendritch said:
You could beat old Freddy too but his kill rate was so unbalanced they were nerfed, now escape rates with DH is too high and now that will be nerfed.
It turns out nerfs happen on an as needed basis and no side needs to give anything in return like we're negotiating the Treaty of Versailles.
It's the same thing every time. When spirit was nerfed people were asking what other aspect of her would be buffed as "compensation". Either that or some random thing about survivor should be nerfed at the same time in the interest of fairness.
-
I think people get a bit too into these debates. Nerfs aren't decided based on who articulates the better argument on the forums, pick rates and win rates as well as complaints go into those decisions.
Not running DH every single match would have probably been a better way to try and save it but I think it's more a question of when the axe falls rather than if at this point.

Do you tunnel a flashbang user?
I took a hook battering yesterday after getting a flashbang save. And I loved every second of it

DH is bs, this is known
As for DS, you are actually allowed to hook different survivors, some would even recommend it. Try going for a nice stroll through the map, who knows what other interesting characters you might get to know?

Blight has been confirmed for a fix (nerf). Expect more nurses in the time to come. This is the game you signed up for.
Wow do you think he'll be more of an F or maybe G tier after that?
