No, I already knew it was extremely popular because it’s a very powerful perk.
Why should any opinion change with something that was already well known?
no
Not really, Dead Hard to me was always incredibly strong or in some use cases completely impossible to counter, the pick rates just confirmed what i already knew
It's funny to see it confirmed so overwhelmingly. Pretty sure some people would take it in all four perk slots if they could.
Pick rate alone isn't reason enough to nerf something. People will always use what's best. Having said that I do believe dh should be nerfed but not because of its pick rate.
And my opinion on the perk did not change because I am well aware of how common it is.
Delete it. Change accomplished.
Pick rate? Over 95%
yes let's not have behaviour pull a ubisoft where they nerf stuff based on pick rates
Ironically, we're getting Operation Health :P
No. Even if stat didn't come out, I would have thought same that DH needs change.
My favorite example was the brief time I was playing destiny when it launched. For a long time you couldn't go into a match without getting lit up by pocket infinity. Then bungie nerfed it.
The pattern remained the same. No matter what you nerf people will gravitate to the next best thing. If something is broken it should be nerfed. However if you want players to stop using the same thing as everyone else. We need more choices that are relatively close to effectiveness. In destiny's case if we had 5 guns that were different yet strong then maybe everyone wouldn't be using the same damn gun.
Literally anyone who says that irritates me so much, it's like, "if SB is so much better, why isn't it used more often" like jeez, so annoying, lol
No. Further more, I've always wanted them to experiment with locking out all exhaustion and slowdown perks for a day. I'm glad they finally see how boring the meta was/is. How chase extending survivor perks and time refunding killer perks feed that cycle and counter each other.
As long as they don't take away spirit's frag grenades
I mean, if we believe Killers, Survivors would have around 12 Perks each. The amount of times I have read that CoH is in every game is way too high considering its pickrate.
Any idea if the pick rates are per game or per survivor?
Reason I'm asking is that there's usually only 1/2 per game, so the pick rate would be leagues lower if it's per survivor.
Nope. It just enforced it.
No cause we all know considering how insanely OP dead hard is, it would top that chart.
Not really, it's been a popular perk since its release.
Anyone who doesn't think dead hard is by far the most busted thing in the game is either completely delusional or trolling. The fact that everyone at high MMR uses it is all the proof you need. It's basically undeniable now since it's supported by data. The sprint burst being better nonsense is also dead.
DH is the most used perk in the game, atm, by leaps and bounds.
I dont think it is per game. Because I very rarely see games without at least 1 Dead Hard, so the 70% for DH would be quite low, if it would be per game.
No, I already knew it was popular and extremely overpowered. This isn't really surprising information.
I'm gonna tag @MandyTalk for clarification (and hopefully not a ban T_T) as these are official statistics.
Did the devs release Dead Hards official pick rate?
Yes, Dead Hard is overpowered, but most people already knew that
Here ya go
Edit - @Aven_Fallen - It says % of loadouts, so it seems to be per individual...I am sorry for not checking prior to this.
Everyone knew that every survivor and their grandma use Dead Hard already
Wow, that's a big line
No worries. :)
