Literally whoever. Every killer is hated by some survivor or another. I don't like facing trapper for instance. I like playing in a way that I would enjoy facing on the other side but you really just gotta go with what you enjoy for killer choice.

Frosty eyes and pumpkin head nurse. It's like they have noed basekit.
Yup. They should go all in on the Sally of the lantern cosmetic, have the head only light up when all 5 gens are done.
-
Quadboon is a meme build, if they manage to get value out of anything other than circle of healing (maybe also shadowstep on some maps) then good for them
-
The frosty eyes gang aren't gonna be happy about this

You're expecting way too much from BHVR.
I have enough faith in them to think they probably could manage it, just not enough that they would actually bother to lol

There’s no real reason to hide mmr unless it’s because it’s actually not working well. Hiding it because of “elitism” is down right silly and ridiculous. Every game with mmr shows it. If they want to hide it from initial pre game lobbies to prevent dodging then sure, that can make some sense. However post game lobbies hidden does not make sense. If they really cared about preventing elitism there shouldn’t have been an mmr system in the first place.
Only partly true. A lot of games show it in their ranked section, but also have casual/unranked sections where it's hidden (but also uses another, different MMR rating)

That could be easily exploited with starstruck and mad grit.
They could make the thing auto-wiggle. Or have it unaffected by certain perks while being carried.
-
Floods of rage and MYC paired together are good. Haven't tried it on wraith yet just sadako but it works well enough on her
-
Iri head still retains its hidden power I see
Honestly iri head huntress on rcpd sounds like a fun game for exactly 0/5 players
-
I don't have a name for it but
Lithe, dance with me, quick and quiet, iron will
I get killers to lose me a lot with that one. Favourite use in vaulting into shack and zooming down into the basement where they rarely think to check
-
Easily fixed by the survivor player's body staying after a DC until hooked and killed. Which was yet another feature bhvr announced once before quietly throwing in the bin.

I tried searching that but the first few videos weren't even bully squads. Comments were funny though

So has killer's. I also play a lot better now compared to that. I can definitely see a lot of mistakes and dumb moments on my side in those clips. 2018 though, a long time ago.
So, while killers and survivors competence has increased, survivors are considerably weaker, and killers are way stronger.
Do I need to elaborate on the result of that equation?
No, that is logical. I guess thinking about it the one way killer used to feel easier was old ruin. Nothing carried you like that perk if the totem ended up in a good spot and survivors couldn't hit greats, no matter how many instaheals and keys and old(est) DS and ironworks of misery god windows and all the other nonsense were in play. Not that I'm nostalgic for it though, glad it's gone.

You mean you want an updated match with much stronger versions of Clown, Wraith and Freddy, and much weaker maps with breakable walls in main buildings and far less strong loops? I guess I could try again with enough coffee to not fall asleep
Although maps have gotten weaker, killers stronger, and survivor perks weaker, the competence of the average survivor has increased a lot since when I started in 2018 imo.
-
I play for archive challenges, putting on weird perk combos and trying to get results out of them, and other vague objectives. I still try to win, but it's not my highest priority. If I get a bad match I just roll my eyes, say GG and move on. A few bad matches and I switch to whichever side I'm not currently playing. If the matches are bad on both sides I'm done for the day. If I start getting tilted over stuff that doesn't usually bother me then it's time for a break which might be a few days, a week, or until the next chapter or midchapter.
So far this approach keeps me relatively sane and actually enjoying most of the time I spend on the game.

Wanted to play Jump scare Myers. Used scrached mirror and my last indoor map offering aaaaand the survivors also used a map offering and send me into a corn field.
So. Much. Fun. (for them)
First time I ever tried scratched the survivors burned a haddonfield offering and they won the coin flip
At least it was thematic I guess 😞

Some of the best mechanics in games originally started as unintended bugs. I don't know why you're ignoring the contextual aspect of this either. There's a huge difference between a bug that changes how a character plays vs a bug that crashes the game or gets someone stuck in geometry or breaks a perk (either making it useless or too strong), and so on and so forth.
Should this one exist? I'unno.
I'd much rather them nerf his strongest add-ons (speed, iri compound, adrenaline vial, alchemist's ring) than remove something that somehow miraculously lowers his skill floor and raises his skill ceiling at the same time. Hell, they should embrace hug tech and give it an animation of some sort. Or kill two birds with one stone and make it an add-on (though some might consider it a mandatory add-on at that point).
i'm mostly just amusing myself. Unlike a lot of things in dbd I don't really have strong opinions on hug tech one way or the other.

Nope, as long as survivor mains are having fun that's all that matters to the devs (cuz they buy the most skins). Killers fun does not matter and they don't give a crap about them even if they're epileptic.
This isn't an us vs them issue. BHVR does not actively want killer mains to have seizures, which shouldn't even need to be said. They're just very slow and unresponsive to even the most basic and necessary changes.
-
I love how we swing between complaining that BHVR ignores bugs to writing essays demanding they keep bugs in the game

Make it an obsession perk. Obsession leaves scratchmarks through any movement (walking and crouchwalking as well as running)
Weird and kinda niche, yes. But still better.
-
In what way?
-
Last nemesis I faced a zombie got stuck on a bush and watched me do an entire gen from behind it, so I don't have too much faith anything would happen

Spirit was never fun to play or to go against
As a killer main i hate playing her and its the killer i refused to play against as a survivor
Now that she isnt the best killer in the game (yes, she was better than nurse with the right addons), people dont play her cos they know its not fun to play
Tldr : killer isnt op anymore but stayed a not fun to play killer > people dont play her
(Btw she still is one of the best killer in the game, just in the top 5 instead of the top1)
I mean that's subjective, I always liked playing as spirit I just avoided it before bc her power was cheesy. Now I enjoy playing as & against.
-
I don't think devs need to play that much of their own game personally
But what would be nice is if one of them could make a sort of tutorial:
-Play an m1 killer on meat plant
-Opposing survivor team don't have to be particularly good, or on comms, just pre-drop pallets in chase, work on gens when not in chase
-To be generous only 2-3 of the survivors need to have dead hard
and throughout this they can demonstrate + explain the right plays from a design/balance perspective
-
Idk but I don't run anything like that so I'm allowed to be mad at them

Mfw killer does thing

Be patient with your pouncing if you are having trouble.
Use the hands of Victor as a crosshair and hold aim still as they go right and left let them come into your crosshair and then pounce.
Dont try to keep turning to aim at them. Let them come into your aim like Deathslinger
^^ seconding aiming in place and waiting for a survivor to weave back into you, which I carried over from huntress and demo to a lesser extent.
I don't miss many Victor hits and I like going for longer range ones when possible
-
I'd put huntress' lullaby on doc, he's the only killer I'd use that on
Edit: glad someone else sees the value of dying light on plague, she makes the buff on the obsession pretty meaningless

Then leave the only killer that has a sliver of a chance against them alone. they deserver each other at high mmr. SWF don't deserve diversity in killers if they want to try hard while running on full easy mode.
I don't understand this train of thought. A legion is probably not going to win against a sweaty 4man therefore nurse should have busted add-ons so the killer can...switch to her mid-match?
-
The old aura reading on hex totems from undying or the notification from thrill could both come back but would require artist being nerfed.
-
I would dislike boons at least 10% less if stomping them felt more substantial. Not like breaking the totem but a proper crunchy noise not this sad little pwwfft when you blow them out.
-
Just add better killer-specific tips on loading screens the first times you play against them. "Legion's 5th frenzy hit can down any survivor including healthy ones" "Killer instinct is not blocked by lockers"
None of this "pallets can be thrown as a distraction", just some short, memorable advice.
Loading screen advice could use updates anyway, dbd mobile has stuff on facecamping etc whereas we get "hitting a healthy survivor with your weapon will injure them"
-
I hope not. But I don't think it's a certainty that they will. Remember when they buffed doc and the forum was filled with rage about how he was OP and unfun to go against and in response they buffed him again and called it a day? The balance team works in mysterious ways

So... If I only run 2 slowdown, I am a skilled killer?
And my NOED/Rancor build is fine because it doesn't have 3 or more slowdown?
At least someone understands what I am trying to accomplish here. Wins without crutches.
Why noed and rancor? I've never understood the point of that combo

It'll be fixed in the next forum patch I'm sure

To me the worst part about it is
It's one of the only few perks that gives survivors an edge against the stronger killers like Nurse
But in doing so it can completely cripple M1 killers. Not always, but very often. Which is just sad because M1 killers have it tough as it is
Four dead hards against a pig is just animal cruelty :(

Obligatory text
-
Congrats! I got 4 yesterday so pretty close.
I wasn't even going for it I just like plaything & pentimento
-
Absolutely not lmao
-
Playing nicely/"fairly" is fine but you should do it because you like doing it, not for survivor approval (you won't see much of that)
Also don't restrict yourself too much. If you want to run weaker perks and not tunnel and not camp you should at least consider slugging when necessary. Some killers are barely playable without ever slugging.
-
It could lead to more interesting builds in theory...in practice it'll be another 2 slowdowns stacked on top of an existing 4. Maybe 5 of those and BBQ. I could do without going against a nurse with ruin, undying, pain res, DMS, thana and sloppy butcher

Sometimes I don’t think it’s rage quitting, in this sense the trend seems to be killer related, like I said above, probably bad rotation of killers, otherwise I’d agree.
I would classify it as rage quitting, whether it's "how dare you down me" or "how dare you play a killer I don't like".
Ultimately although some killers are more disliked than others everyone has their own dislikes (I'd rather not play against trapper or clown if I had the choice)

If they buffer survivors and then told the killer to stop making mistakes I don’t think it’d sit well, everyone has a good reason to complain and most likely if a lot of people are complaining then there must be an issue.
Ive seen countless survivors dc as soon as they see legion and complain, it gets old very fast but it’s probably due to bad killer rotation as well, constantly facing the same killer gets boring and I imagine most killers want to play as him.
I feel like some of the complaints are valid but it’s hard to tell this early on due to how many people are playing as him, it might just be exaggerated
And I've had survivors dc when I down them as clown, the ragequitters are the last group of people anyone should be listening to.

1-2 flashlights: play game as normal, be wary of saves
3-4 flashlights: Lightborn (don't make it too obvious you have it, try looking away a few times when they try to blind
Lightborn isn't mandatory, but it is funny when there's a lot of flashlights. Franklin's is a more boring option. Overwhelming presence if you're feeling wild/want to annoy them more by killing them while running stupid perks
-
The entity shrinks survivors down to bite size and feeds them to Charlotte who then births them as a new Victor through her chest hole. Don't they teach you kids anything in biology these days?

Blight buff

Postgame chat updated to censor all words

A couple things to keep in mind:
The softcap was lowered quite a bit with the most recent MMR update.
Your lowest killer MMR is going to hang around 200 points of your highest. Even if your highest killer MMR is average-ish 1500 and your Clown MMR is 1300, that puts you well within the 350 range of survivors near the 1700 softcap.
Which is why I kind of chuckle when players bring up matchmaking. What matchmaking? There's almost no functional difference between being at the top percentile of players and being completely average. You're going to be matched with the same players.
If it goes from 0-1700 wouldn't 1300 be on the high side rather than average?
-
Announcing things that are then never mentioned again seems to be par for the course. I was surprised when boons actually did become reality.
-
Wasn't wraith just a very slight reduction in the lunge? Not saying that was necessary imo but he's still clearly better than when he was an invisible snail

I like to watch a certain streamer who regularly gets accused of being a cheater, simply because he combines undetectable addons (like wodden fox) with Starstruck. Often he addes IG, Agitation and Mad Grit. Which results in very confused survivors. Since they don´t read the perk/addon description, they assume he´s a cheater.
I like using weird stealth perks and addons because it definitely gets a reaction out of the survivors (whether that's positive or negative depends)
