I need 2 perks that are good for Wraith

I need 2 perks (ideal some synergy combo) for my Wraith. My playstyle is usualy just chase people until I down them and hook and move on to the next person (I am not a big fan of hit and run playstyle). I am trying to avoid just some generic slowdown perks because I want some unique build that might fit with his power. Any ideas?

I am little scared to use Hexes because you can lose them in 2 min even with undying :(

    But it's nice combo.

  • Hit & Run build, my fav on him.

    Bamboozle for anti-chase.

    Plaything + Pentimento for slowdown.

Nurse's Calling because good information for this build.

"Blind Warrior" - White + "Shadow Dance" - White for add-ons.

  • I second Make Your Choice with Floods of Rage.

Combine with the speedy when cloaked add on.

It's powerful and ensures you don't camp or tunnel. Survivors will be pissed but will not be able to complain, you're literally not camping or tunneling and the perks prove it.

It also invalidates CoH, but is countered by Shadowstep.

  • Use starstruck and agitation, Its soo good on him

  • Ruin/Undy... i'm joking.

You could try Call of Duty/Dragon's Grip.

Kick a hen, zoom away to apply pressure somewhere else while that gen is "trapped" for 30 seconds while regressing at Ruin speed.

Or if a Survivor dares to touch the gen within 30 seconds, they get exposed without knowing where you are or are coming from. Surprise them with high speed.

this lissen funny, you will have feedback tomorow xD

  • I always run Starstruck on Wraith. You can pair whatever you prefer with that.

It's even better when he has his piano/opera skin.

  • Go for speedrun wraith

    All seing blood addon

The grey addon that makes you unclock when breaking pallets

PWYF, Brutal strenght, fire up, pop

Its a fun build that will match your playstyle

Oh that won't save you. If the person doing the unhooking was the last person hooked before the current one, then you're tunneling, and since you went right to the area of the hook to get the person doing the unhooking then you're a "proxy" camper.

Do people actually cleanse plaything against wraith though? I likely wouldn’t bother, knowing it’s likely for pentimento because why else use plaything on a killer like him.

  • Hex Plaything and Hex Pent. Should help by giving them survivors a secondary objective or repair slower..

I don't think this works for him since he has base kit good stealth allready. As Survivor I wouldn't bother doing the totems much since I can't hear him coming anyway + I play Spine Chill usualy.

Both of which are utter nonsense

That's the point my man. If they won't cleanse totems, you will take free hits. You will uncloak little far from gen. So they will not hear your bell. And then you will take your hit for free. And you will surprise how many survivors are cleansing plaything.

Oblivious really should negate Spine Chill.

  • Bamboozle + spirit fury + serpent addon + shadow dance addon.

It just shutdowns loops and tiles so hard that almost everything becomes not safe in a chase with him. Even shack becomes a joke, just block the window, shred the pallet and watch them try to abandon the tile xD

You can kick stuff around for extremely fast uncloack and hit survivors immediately rather than wait for the uncloack animation.

Pop goes the weasel also pair really well with this, because wraith is actually one of the very few killers who can afford to travel to any generator, interrupt the survivors and pop the Gen, and since you will be kicking the Gen to uncloack rather than binging your bong, why not add some nice regression to it?

You can end with info perks such as BBQ or floods of rage. Pain resonance is nice too as it give you an idea where to go and more regression. Or something nasty like dragon's grip.

People are often too busy looking for you to look for totems

  • If your style is injuring then continuing to chase to down, try Save the Best for Last. It’s is the ultimate perk for following up after injuring someone, they get much less distance from you after that initial hit.

Bamboozle is also good, it allows you to shut down a strong vault to force them to try and transition elsewhere, often resulting in a hit.

Sloppy Butcher is also solid in general on Wraith since it will make it harder for survivors to heal if they get away or get rescued, plus it makes their blood trails even easier to follow.

An underrated perk for tunneling is Bloodhound (one of Wraith’s starting perks too). Yes, you can see blood without it, but it’s basically guaranteed you won’t miss blood with it, plus the trails last longer than normal. And it’s not susceptible to aura hiding perks like Shadowstep. Basically once you injure someone, even if you temporarily lose sight of them or they try and crouch walk to hide scratches, you’ll still find them with this perk. And it synergizes well with Sloppy Butcher above.

    Glad you had fun :)

  • I really like using Eruption + Call of Brine with his action speed addons, so you can chase people off gens and get value when you get downs later. With the right addons and perks you can even do some gen kicking mid chase to spread more regression.

Another build that I used back then and kind of enjoyed was Make Your Choice + Furtive Chase (going for the Obsession first then always) + Nemesis (so whoever became exposed would also be Oblivious and have the aura revealed for a while) + pretty much any other perk that you may want the value. Now with the Scourge Hook: Floods of Rage and the Furtive Chase buff you can get even better value for this specific strat. Speed addons are best for it but one of those clappers (yellow or Iri) can help throw the obsession off even further while they're exposed.

Hope you can have fun with whatever you try!

  • I haven't gotten to try it yet but Floods of Rage, MyC, Corrupt, and Jolt.

  • IMO a really good non-hex build for him would be something like:

Sloppy Butcher - You only have M1 attacks. This means that if survivors want to take protection hits, make trades, or survive an ambush - they will have to waste more time. If you stop them before they can finish healing, you can waste even more of their precious time.

A Nurse's Calling - With Sloppy, you will be able to find survivors when they are least suspecting you and prevent them from completing their heal. This is a very strong combination, as it also allows you to get the jump on survivors when they think they are safest.

Thrilling Tremors - After finishing a chase, you can slow down survivor movement and make sure that a generator you just defended doesn't get finished right behind you. The best synergy is with your ability to ambush fresh off the hook. After you hook, look around and head towards an unblocked generator with your stealthy super-speed. Thrilling Tremors is valuable information and slow-down that keeps you in the chase and pushes survivors off of generators. It also synergizes well with A Nurse's Calling, as survivors that find their generator blocked may pause for a heal, and unwittingly play into your hands.

MindBreaker / Fearmonger - This is a very practical rebuttal for both information and ambush alike. Not only does it prevent active survivors from seeing your approach via Kindred - but it also allows you to better ambush them, providing a lethal punctuation to the Thrilling Tremors information. As @KurnDisciple said, it prevents use of powerful exhaustion perks - which means after following up on your Thrilling proc, you're in for a smooth chase.

using this build, you can keep survivors wounded and punish them for healing by searching them out with constant information. Your generator efficiency with Thrilling means that once you start chasing survivors, you won't stop - and those health states are going to steal more and more time as you punctuate chases with increasing lethality.

    happy hunting!
