50% kill rate or whatever you wanna make up
could mean 3 players get 4-k and 3 players get 0-K.
And awnser me this do they die because they made mistakes in stealth to get found, mistakes in chase to get hit, and then mistakes as team to not get a save?
Sorry this reply is sort of useless but don't take the bait. They're pretty well-known for starting things and causing people to get angry so I wouldn't keep falling for their comments lmao.

Leatherface or Clown. They're both complete memes but at least with Bubba I have an instadown and a hilarious pwyf, nemesis combo that is worth making it work just for the hell of it. As for Clown there's literally nothing fun about him. Absolutely nothing about him is fun or satisfying to physically do. I don't have a fun power like Hillbilly or Nurse, nor is it even effective. Freddy's abilities aren't very fun or interesting but they're at least strong. Absurdly boring and just straight up painful to play as Clown especially now.
Edit: I'd also give a nod to Spirit. Easily the most brainless and cheap killer in the game, her power is so uninteractive it's like you're playing a single player game when you get your power and the survivors are injured.

You don't understand what I'm trying to say, what other Killer has that kind of skillset?
I don't think It's important but I'm rank 8 and I'm been playing for a week.
It definitely is important. You're very new to the game so it's kind of expected that you'd react like this to Doc, a lot of new players do since he's a bit of a noob-stomper and is pretty good once he gets going and has pressure. Detection is kind of what Doc is all about. He's bad at chasing but good at finding survivors so he hard-punishes those who don't know how to loop effectively. You can't drop pallets when he shocks you so don't greed the pallets and throw them early. Don't camp pallets either, that's where he gets a hit for free because survivors are just staying near a pallet when they should keep running. As for the skill checks you just have to get used to them. Snapping out of it is really easy now, I swear they made the skill check windows even bigger since his rework. That's pretty much all I can say. Or you can just run calm spirit if you really wanted to be stealthy. It doesn't negate the effects of the shock (You'll still be unable to throw pallets for a little while after he shocks you) but he won't get a notification as to where you are.
-
It's not really worth, but it makes Nurse playable for me. I just wish they did away with Shadowborn and gave us the option to increase FOV by up to 15 extra degrees. With the way killers are there's absolutely no reason to argue against this being a thing, it'd be such a good QoL change that would help literally everyone. Increasing the FOV is an advantage, but is it seriously that huge of an advantage to make some people play with only 3 perks? The advantages of it vs survivors are negligible. The only killers that it would be a distinct upgrade on would be Myers and GhostFace, but then make it so your FOV decreases to the current default when you're stalking.
This game is hardly a competitive or serious game, it's a stupid party game that would benefit from so many QoL changes that would make it so much more fun and enjoyable to play.
-
Shroud of separation is literally a downside for killers to run, because survivors splitting up is the most detrimental thing for a killer. Without Ruin, 3 survivors holding M1 on different gens at the start of the game with a guaranteed completion in 80s is scary. The killer can't be in 4 places at once so basically 3 gens will go in just over a minute, and at opposite sides of the map.
-
I'd like to run 5 perks, but I'd rather not go against survivors running DStrike, Dead Hard, Unbreakable, Borrowed Time AND Adrenaline. That's just far too much to deal with and the 5th slot for the killer wouldn't be nearly as impactful since survivor perks are stronger than killer perks.
-
If you're Myers you're likely not gonna win on a farm map. So many tall loops you can't stalk around, god windows you can't chase around and a string of potentially crazy-safe tiles that you also can't do ######### about (looking at you Thompson House)
-
Love - Pig, Demogorgon, Myers
Hate - Spirit, Spirit and Dedicated Huntress. Also Spirit. Remove Spirit.
In terms of playing as I guess I don't mind playing as any killer apart from Clown, but the three I love right now are Billy, Nurse and Freddy (Pig and Oni are up there too)
-
I almost always play with at least 1 other person when I'm playing survivor so the way the killer plays is the worse imo. I couldn't care less if some of my teammates aren't doing much, but it's a little annoying when I see killers deliberately go out of their way to ruin the match for another person on my team. Don't really care if it happens to me though, I just play survivor to chill out and if I depip so be it, matches get even more relaxing in lower ranks anyway but the people I play with usually care quite a lot if they're being tunnelled etc so I try to help them out when I can. Honestly I WANT to be tunnelled in a match. If I've pissed off a killer so much that he wants to tunnel and facecamp me I consider that a win.
-
I used to dodge but a lot of 3 toolbox matches are actually some of the easiest matches. A lot of survivors who bring toolboxes aren't very good. That being said if it's an obvious swf...I'm bringing the Fredster with Ruin and at least a green mori. I feel like that matches 3 toolboxes.
-
His immunity to BT while survs are in the dream world is stupid, but apart from that I don't mind where Freddy is at now. I like playing him simply because he's a strong killer, and I enjoy actually having abilities that do something worthwhile and give me map pressure. He's simple and fun imo
-
Well it's only uphill from here. Keep at it.
-
I would definitely put sole survivor in the "No" category. Imo it's literally the worst perk in the game next to boil over and buckle up.
-
I don't find killer too stressful when I'm playing certain killers. You're also playing addonless Wraith so of course you found it stressful, Wraith is terrible without any add-ons or slowdown perks. Killer choice matters in terms of how stressful the game is going to be.
-
Doctor finding you every 60 seconds is hardly the worst thing in the world is it? Who cares if he finds you, he's hardly much of a threat when he's chasing you, he doesn't have an instadown or anything. You also know he's going to do it a few moments before it actually happens. You can hear the noise of him charging it across the entire map. If you're fast enough and in the right area that is enough time to jump into a locker with QnQ if you really cared about playing competitive hide and seek the entire match. (I honestly want to be found as a survivor since the interaction between the killer and survivor is why I play the game, I don't play survivor to hide and hold M1 on gens all day)
-
Shadowborn, BBQ, Infectious, Whispers/I'm All Ears with both cooldown add-ons is what I usually run.
-
I wouldn't want another killer that has 110% move speed. Huntress' hatchets are broken af right now, Hag is pretty damn boring and should honestly be 115% because then at least she would chase people. And I don't even wanna think about what went through their heads when they made Spirit. The thing is, they're all really boring (I love Huntress when her hatchets aren't bs but that's it). Nurse is an exception because she isn't 110 and her power is really fun and challenging to play against.

In my opinion. They're both pretty okay, I wish infinite T3 Myers would be fixed because it's dumb he can stalk you for a bit then insta down you the entire game. Ghost face his reveal is a little broken. It's too easy to reveal him and makes his stalking basically null in void. I play both a love them as killer and I play against them as survivor. I've had no issued besides the two I mentioned above. I believe they're fine how they currently are compared to some other killers and perks who need reworks.
It isn't that dumb tbh. It takes so long to get to tier 3 and when he is T3 it's then basically like playing against a Plague with faster vault speed and a slightly better lunge. It's strong and devastating if you get to tier 3 early, but good survivors will keep you out of tier 3 for ages. Hell, they can keep you moving around like a snail in tier 1 for a few gens if they know what they're doing.
-
I think if it was sort of a progression instead that would be a lot better. Each box can give you between 45%-55% progression towards removing the bear trap so you would have to go to at least 2 boxes, but there's always a small chance you need to go to a 3rd box. I'd prefer her traps to be more consistent than a 25% chance to remove it.
-
Well he's not OP in the slightest, and you need to seriously learn how this killer works if you're dying to Doctors who spam shock therapy over and over because that should never work. He slows down a lot when he uses it and doesn't get bloodlust (Or he might do, not sure). If you see him raise his hand you should consider trying to get to the next loop or keep running around the current loop. Of course he can fake it then but that's part of the mindgame and something that varies between the players you face. Play like you would against a Freddy or Clown. He punishes survivors who greed pallets and windows so the counter is to just not greed them. I guarantee once you play against him more he won't cause you much trouble at all.
-
About rotten fields and fractured Cowshed: you're wanting the wrong things to be changed. The corn is the least of a killer's concern on those maps. The worst thing is the sheer size, and tile generation that can make some disgusting setups where it's next to impossible to catch a survivor running them. Not to mention the infamous coldwind loops that are scattered through these maps. Survivors can see over them, meaning they're impossible to mindgame and they're also so big and tall enough that killers like Huntress can't do anything about them. It's just a hold W experience.
-
I still find killer pretty fun to play and it's the only reason I'm still playing. Solo survivor is even worse, I can only play survivor with friends and that's when I can chill and sort of meme around a bit. Maybe it's because I'm so far past the point of caring about the win and consider getting all 4 BBQ stacks as a win now lmao. As long as the chases were fun and I got to play the game I don't mind losing.
-
They say that because she's a pretty easy killer to play and "master", not really requiring much from the player. People say the same about Freddy too because it's true. They're easy killers with not much of a skill ceiling but is it really a bad thing to have killers that are good but also easy to play as long as they aren't unfair? (Well... spirit kind of bends that second point a bit because her power literally offers no counterplay if the spirit has a pair of eyes and ears but she will still lose the match if the other 3 survivors are doing gens.)
-
I usually run enduring, BBQ, make your choice and brutal strength/spirit fury with the teleport cooldown add-on. Really don't like Freddy's slowdown gimmicks with the swing chains, corrupt, pop etc and want matches to be a decent pace. (Just clarifying but I run BBQ and enduring on almost every killer because those two perks are like drugs and I cant stop using them or I'll suffer from withdrawal symptoms)
-
While I agree ruin definitely needed a change at some point, this wasn't the way to go with it because all the other variables like map size, tile generation etc make the ruin change a lot more painful than it should have been. It was a bandaid fix to most of the problems that barely worked in the first place and now it's gone, exacerbating all of the other problems ruin sort of tried to cover up. People are sort of overreacting though because killers can still do fine, it's just a lot of the killers now have literally no time to spare and one mistake costs them the game.
-
Self care is good, but it's not a good perk to run with the current way this game is played and inner strength is just so much better. You usually spawn near a totem at the start of the match too. And it's also doing an objective in a way, because nobody's gonna get mad at you for doing bones. Basically any perk that can counter the antihealing perks like coulrophobia, sloppy are better than self-care (self care and botany is fine though if you run them both together but seriously autodidact, we'll make it, solidarity are all much better than self care)
-
Nurse is still the strongest and can still destroy people's souls.
As for the worst....Clown is just a joke. At least with Bubba you have an instadown and nemesis now. (I think the only way Clown is any way decent is with the red add-on that lets you expose survivors with a bottle or add-ons that make survivors move as slow as map rework announcements.

Nurse's blink doesn't ignore every single mechanic. Its still bound to walls (deadzones the developers refuse to fix), it can be outstealthed/juked, Nurse can still be stunned midblink with pallets (braindead hardcounter since the introduction of servers). And last but not least, thanks to the cooldown you can outrun a Nurse by just running forward.
I didn't actually know about that pallet thing. That's kinda dumb lol but I don't see anyone try to do it, they just attempt to stun me when I emerge from a blink instead

And yet that's precisely what Demo can do, and I haven't seen any 'nerf Demo' posts regarding his Shred bait.
Demo's shred doesn't ignore every single mechanic in the game though...

Slugging isnt outplaying survivors. Its outdoing basic game mechanics and just scummy play as killer. The only thing that needs to be fixed is that slugging shouldnt be possible like it actually is. Its not fun to lay on the ground half the game til a sweaty killer got his "will".
It may be scummy, but you try and do well with basically any killer now without slugging at least a bit. You can't. Against good survivors if you don't slug with killers like Oni, Myers, Huntress you just lose because you have absolutely no pressure if you don't slug.
-
You have to know when it's right to charge a blink, it's something good Nurses need to know and learn. It's part of her mindgame. Charge it too much and survivors might double back, so you angle the blink slightly down to kill some of that distance. Having the option to cancel the blink would be a little too good imo and there wouldn't really be any way to counter that as a survivor.
-
Well Michael doesn't have anything to help him in a chase and it's a diceroll if his stalk will even work well because dedicated servers are perfect. His builds and addons are some of the most fun in the game though imo. Demo has the lunge and obvious synergy with STBFL as well as map pressure with portals. I dunno, it's up to you.
-
...ok? So you got mad at survivors BMing so you do it in return and that's fine, just know that you're no better than them when you do it and you're just hurting yourself by not getting a lot of BPs.
-
You say rank doesn't matter but I guarantee you will care at least a tiny bit, and you'll get more easily bored of the game. And a lot of other people will probably quit too.
-
Well sometimes I can't blame some of them. If you're playing Clown on Fractured Cowshed, you run to the other side of the map, 1 gen pops, find a survivor and chase them for ages because you have no power, then 2 more gens pop by the time they're down and on the hook. It really do be like that sometimes and it sucks.

You must be a god and never lose a match. Or you're playing a different game altogether. Because this #########? Is not easy.
Nah he's always baiting with his posts about Clown. His whole build is a meme
-
The annoyed people need to move on but so do people like you who constantly complain about them. They're not going to change, it's the internet, people are gonna be mad at you no matter what you do.
-
You can just avoid the shock with dead hard, or is that not bs enough?

Sounds familiar. Hmmm!
If you're thinking of a certain someone with a hag pfp and a Kate one then yeah they're definitely both baiting. They're both in it together, I swear. It's pretty damn funny at times though ngl, I can respect that quality of bait.

As killer you can run across the haybails on the tractor in the farm maps to catch people vaulting them
You can cross over the pit in the school halls of badham by looking by looking at a 45 degree angle at the wall while you lunge
I thought you couldn't do the badham one anymore and it was patched?
-
There are many pallets on every map that you absolutely have to destroy but there are ways to make the game less infuriating...
Run enduring. I run it on almost every killer and it feels so good to not need to give a single ######### about pallets. Also if you get a hit through a pallet with enduring a lot of survivors will end up running away from the pallet, allowing you to just catch up to them easily and get a quick down. Don't mindlessly break every pallet because some survivors just expect you to do that.
Learn when to break chase. If there are survivors making a beeline straight to a god loop or on a dead side of the map there's usually no point chasing them unless you know you can quickly down them. Or if a survivor's just good at looping you might want to consider breaking chase because it'll take too long to get them.
These are just two tips I sort of picked up myself and it's helped me so they might help you... (Other people can add to this or discuss the tips I suggested because I'm really not sure if it's good advice but it works for me most of the time lol)
-
I think we should nerf The Clown by removing his knife. He is a Clown after all, and should instead entertain survivors with circus acts and funny skits. Because he certainly can't juggle gen and map pressure am I right fellas?
-
Hag will always have the best Mori imo. Oni and Myers are up there too. Wraith's and trappers are so lame lmao they need a new animation
-
That's not toxic, that's just playing the game. Now is it BM to hit people on the hook and tbag? Yeah. But actual toxicity would be some of the things people say in endgame chat (racism, homophobia etc). So many snowflakes in this game are so offended by people pressing the crouch button repeatedly at them. The moment you stop caring about t-bagging is the moment you'll enjoy the game more.
-
Or just....run kindred, which is what you should be doing if you're solo queueing in the first place because kindred is honestly too good to not run.
-
With the way match-making, and the latest ruin change and also the upcoming MMR system I'm past the point of caring if I do well or not in my killer games. As long as I get 4 stacks of BBQ and have some fun chases etc then whatever else happens is whatever to me. So I suppose just taking it easy and not really worrying about the outcome of a match is one way to stop jitters. I do remember my first times playing killer though. My aim shook slightly everytime I lunged at a survivor and my heart was beating faster than normal and I had full concentration..I miss that feeling :(
-
You don't need survivor perks at all to escape, but if you wanted to guarantee escaping, or you wanted to make the killer absolutely hate you by the time the game is over, then this is the build for you.
-
T-bagging is not toxic behaviour. Wishing death upon someone, or insulting a person's race, gender orientation etc in the endgame chat is toxic behaviour and that stuff is super rare. People tbag because they're maybe feeling themselves and find it funny. Them getting a reaction out of you is a bonus. I wanna ask though: why does it bother you so much that somebody is pressing a button repeatedly in a video game?
-
...honestly it's a mystery how his power works. Sometimes a survivor will stare straight at you and they're unable to reveal you, or they can reveal you when you're completely hidden behind a wall. It can be really buggy so there aren't many tips apart from try and refrain from activating stealth mode when you're in the open or straight after you've hooked a survivor, because they can also reveal you
-
DbD isn't very taxing on PC, and you're gonna want to play the game on low or medium anyway. It's clearer and brighter without all of the AO and shadows thrown everywhere and just looks better imo.
