As long as survivors have voicecommunication, keys, instantheals, and toolboxes that tredemiously shift the game in their favour, I am completely fine with ebony moris.
-
Ontop of that I would love to have that for my teammates as well. Sometimes I am really curious what my team was doing while I got chased full map by the killer.
-
Last rank reset. Everyone disconnected within 15 seconds after they heard my first blink. Luckily I got some BPs for closing hatch.

Yes! I'm glad someone else understands where I'm coming from 💜 Sally is indeed tender and seems super sympathetic from what I read in her bio.
I mean, it kind of makes sense that she can feel with the pain of the survivors. Considering that her blinking constantly puts her in extreme pain as well.
-
The funniest thing are survivors who justify them not doing totems by not having enough time. Without realising that generators already go too fast, and that totems actually balance out the game.
-
I have had 4 hatchstandoff since dedicated servers so far. 3 as killer, 1 as survivor. And survivors have won every single one of them so far. On various streams I also observed that survivors always were able to jump in. Looks like hardcoded in favour of the survivor for me. Might as well remove the hatch closing feature by now, since it got gutted.
-
I like that chest. It kind of serves you as incentive and reward for doing the generator in the middle of the map. Its a very unsafe gen though ...

Winter is coming :-(
Not in the southern hemisphere ;)

I am in EU, and get 60-100ms ping usually. I have been playing mainly Nurse the last couple of days (because I enjoy her alot), and I get the exact opposite of what alot of people say about her. Sure, you tend to get sucked back a bit after coming ouf the blink, but her hits are so much much more consistent. I can't explain why, but it seems that I no longer get ghosthits (missing survivors at point blank range). That has plagued my Nurse-gameplay for so long in P2P, and dedicated servers finally resolved that. That alone makes me so happy.

Thats true, and it happens to me also, but getting screwed by autoaim one or two times does not really effect the game as much as 2 people crashing.
Oh, sweet summer child.

No offense but that all reads like a big excuse. Latency and Hitboxes are actually more a problem for survivor and not for the killer... and autoaim? How should a survivor know that you have trouble with that?
Anyway, thanks for your honest answer.
A survivor who plays killer from time to time will notice when the killer gets cucked. Only true survivor-mains would not recognise this. I myself notice it when the killer is swinging in my direction and then hits some random bush or rock out of the blue.

What things that are out of your control and survivor might notice could that possible be?
Me getting cucked by autoaim, (with dedicated servers) me getting cucked by latency, me getting cucked by hitboxes, and so on and so forth.

Idk, what if 1 or more people crash during the game?
Survivors never give me a free pass when I am having a bad game caused by things out of my control.
-
I don't see why I should. If you want to escape, go work for it.
-
So, I played some more Nurse yesterday. Ping at 60-100ms to the server. I noticed a few things, both positive and negative.
- Post blink hits are finally more consistent. With peer to peer, I landed alot of ghost hits. Survivor was at point blank range, and litterally infront of me, yet my attack missed for some reason sometimes. With dedicated servers those ghost hits are nearly eliminated.
- Survivors dropping pallets on a Nurse midblink can nullify it completely now. On P2P, survivors had to time it perfectly for that to work, but with dedicated servers it always works now. I blink to the other side of the pallet, and start swinging at the survivor, half a second later, I get teleported back to the other side, and consequently miss my swing. I don't know if its intended or not, but it takes away all skill and precision from pallet stunning a blinking Nurse.
- You can now get stuck in dropped pallets in the process described above. Luckily the Nurse can blink out with no problem, but it still looks weird, and should be fixed.
- Going out of a blink without swinging does weird movement sometimes. Usually I get teleported back half a metre or so. In rare instances I get catapulted forward for like 5 metres for like a second or 2. I am unable to swing when that happens.

Killers have been complaining for years and EVERY single aspect of survivors have been nerfed.
Survivors want broken addons reworked and it's immediately called whining. Stop being biased.
Everyone is fine with the broken add-ons being changed. What people are afraid of is the "tweak" to her base-power. Because Behaviour won't give any information, and they are known for overdoing things, and nerfing them into the ground (Old Freddy, Legion, Mettle of Man), the assumption is justified that Nurse will be completely gutted and no longer be the Queen of Killers.
-
I need to switch between killer and survivor from time to time, because playing one side for too long makes me angry.
-
While it without any doubt is unfun to the survivors, it won't pay off, if the team is smart. There are multiple hard counters to it. In some instances camping is the only way to win a match as killer.
-
This poll needs some Pig. Even though she got gutted the last months, she still has an immense stalling potential with her traps.
-
I use blood to track all the time, not hard to see. It helps that I increased the colour saturation on my monitor, though. I recommend that to everyone who has problems with scratchmarks/blood.
-
I played mostly Nurse during the servers, and it was actually quite good to be honest. I got a stable 60-100ms throughout the matches. The only thing that felt weird was that after coming out of the blink, I was set back a tiny bit, like something like 20cm or so. Barely noticeable if your blinks are precise already though.

Nurse is very strong, but she is unstappable on open maps like Blood Lodge, you cannot break line of sight with her.
Meanwhile with every other killer, survivors are unstoppable on open maps like Blood Lodge.
-
Nurse is just bad on dedicated servers. Blinks and post-blink hits (or not hits) are just awful.
Looks like she finally got nerfed...
-
I got banned on the Steam forum by a triggered mod. And I like cats.
-
Optimisation.
Even on PC, this game runs horrible compared to other games with similar graphics and mapsizes.

It doesn't take a strong team. It takes survivors who are able to think outside of loops and pallets.
That's strong by today's standards. Most survivors nowadays are so unwilling to adapt to anything outside the looping-meta. Hence why people cry about Spirit.
-
Knowing Behaviour, they will most likely "normalise" her with the other killers. Making her add-on dependant like everyone else. Still top-tier, but possibly surpassed by Spirit then. Maybe easier to pick up as newbie, but with a lower overall skill ceiling.
-
People don't like the notion that you need a strong team to beat a strong Nurse. No weak links in the team are allowed. With most other killer 1 or 2 strong survivor can carry the team in most instances, but not with a Nurse.
-
Seriously, all they need to do is nerf/remove range and additional blink add-ons, make Plaid Fannel a common add-on, and fix the descriptions (White Nit Comb for example affects charge speed, not blink speed).
5 minute job for any half-decent programmer.

@Peanits said:
We did explicitly mention that the changes would primarily be to her add-ons. She will also be receiving some slight changes to her base kit. This was just a sneak peek at what's to come.
Please don't change her basekit. Its fine as it is.

Badham has got some pretty good totems with its rework. Yes, survivors can learn the spots where they spawn, but atleast they have to actively search for the totem to find it. You can only see them from one particular angle. On the other maps 9 out of 10 times you find the totems passively as you move from generator to generator.
They should give all totem spots the Badham treatment.
-
Even as killer, I am all for bringing back the old lighting, if we also go back to the old sound system. A system where I reliably hear that Blendette rustling the grass 2 trees to my side. A system where the chase music didnt blast off my ears like in a nightclub.
-
Equip Unrelenting, and make them scared.

When is Claudette getting a hair rework? Her default hair looks like extremely, burnt french fries.
That's Afro-hair. Its really like that in reality.
-
Not dodging, but I am surely switching to Nurse with Ruin if I see them bringing toolboxes.
-
Doc's 3-gen strat is a living meme. It doesn't work if still 4 survivors are alive, or if the the team is semi-decent.
The best 3-gen strategies are with killers who are able to down really ######### quick, and with good mobility. Nurse, Spirit, Billy, Hag, Huntress, possibly Myers, Ghostface, or Trapper too.
-
Russians. I use moris on Russian SWF.
-
Put this in the engine.ini:
[/Script/Engine.RendererOverrideSettings]
r.DefaultFeature.AntiAliasing=False
That turns off the force AA setting.
-
I mean survivors do bring their best stuff as well. Played 12 games today, not a single one without an instantheal, Brand new part, or keys (even used them twice).
Yeah, I am gonna play Nurse only this event.

But... Isn't having a queue time as Killer like me under 30 seconds better than that? As seen in the video...
Same-ish for Survivor, its 1 minute or at worst 2.
I included the time it took for everyone to join, and ready up in the lobby. The moment you searched for a match to the moment you entered the offerings screen. 2 minute maximum consistently.
-
Its definitely better with the last patch, but it will never match the times of instant-lobbies we had back then. Search for queue, be in a game in less than 2 minutes max for both killer and survivor (unless there is lobby dodging involed). I miss those times.
-
Apart from her add-ons, Nurse is perfectly fine. She is needed at high ranks to deal with optimal Cheat with Friends groups.
-
It always takes the highest ranking survivor now. For example: Rank1 + Rank20 + Rank1 + Rank1 = Rank 1 killer. Before the change those would have beenn queued with a Rank6 killer, which is pretty much GG from there. Its to prevent high rank survivors from bullying low rank killers.
-
No bangs please ... ... Whats the point of tieing up your hair, if you still got some of it hanging down your face?
-
No, this change is perfectly fine. If you as newbie queue with high ranked friends, you know whats coming to you. However the poor low rank killer than gets matches with high rank survivors did not agree with that. The old system was fun for survivors at the expense of killers.

@Mochan said:
Yes, imagine punishing killers for playing the game.
Look, I get you're a killer main, but there is a vast difference between survivors and killers. You know what that is? It's called POWER. Killers are the POWER ROLE. No matter how many killers are bad at the game don't have power, it is a fact that killers are the power role.
What this means is killers can end a survivor's night just like that. Utterly deny him from even playing. That is called tunneling and camping.
The mechanics are terrible and need some kind of fix. BHVR obviously intends for killers not to camp and tunnel. It's clear as day from their (badly-designed) emblem system. But as we all know the emblem system is junk, so killers don't have any incentive not to tunnel camp.
It's been a long time coming that a real mechanical change is put in place to prevent tunnel camping, but BHVR is half-hearted about it. Likely they don't want to take agency away from players. I get that.
But nobody can complain if the survivor population is so low that killers can't reliably find fast games, because tunnel-camping is the number one that drives survivors away from playing this game.
So YES, killers need to be punished, if that's what it takes to stop this silly epidemic.
Imagine being so delusional that you think killers are the powerrole in 2019.
-
To OP:
I suggest your friend to play some killer. Not only is it better to not being immediatly turned into a survivor main by SWF, but killer is also way more chill at low ranks. Sure you will sometimes encounter derankers who demolish low ranks, but thats rather rare at brown ranks, and gets more common at green ranks.
Playing killer drastically improves your survivor gameplay. You learn about scratchmarks, you learn about what the killer can hear and what not. You learn about gen-placement, about the priorities of killers, their movement, their thoughts. But most importantly, you see how other survivors move. You see how they loop, you see how they do gens, you see how they path after they have done something, you see their perks, and how they affect the killer.
-
This all wouldnt be a problem, if we had a functional latency compensation. The server takes into account the latency the players had when they did the hatch interaction, and can decide whoever pressed the button earlier.
-
Nurse should get a medieval witch cosmetic. Like with a hat, a long black robe, and a broom as weapon.
