What do you mean? You can already unlock them. Are you playing on console?
Logged in and they weren't there. I'm on Xbox but I'm just wondering when the achievements become available to earn

I've been thinking in using this perk but I always change my mind. Does this perk really makes a difference? Do I need to use with ironwill ?
I have been running an injury build over the past while, Spine chill, Iron Will, Lithe(I suck with dead hard) and Resilience. I've found pretty good results with it so far. But my team constantly trying to heal me despite me not standing still gets annoying.
To answer you're questions... depends. If the killer is running Thanataphobia it pretty much counters your resilience if 2 or 3 survivors are injured.
Do you need iron will? Only if the Killer dosent pay attention to sound.

Then you were facing off killers that didn't know when to drop a chase. And when to ignore good loopers.
I respectfully disagree, it's true to a certain extent not every killer I go up against deserves they're red rank. However there are others I come across that wipe the floor with they're enemies. Despite the fact I lose I still have no problem holding my own against them. Dosent stop them camping or tunneling though.
BTW should probably put it out there I'm not against Tunneling or camping lmao.

The point is that I've got an adept on several killers after 1st - 2nd try, while I've tried for over 10 times on nurse. I've been doing decent with the addon that disables blinks for a minute after blink hit (and increases ms), but I ran out of them and I can't get even 1 kill most of the time...
Hey I get you, My adepts for every killer besides Nurse were 1 or 2, games. I recommend you make a fresh account and practice.

Actually, it's the other way around.
As killer, if you focus too much on survivors who are a threat, you are just going to lose. You'll waste time looping, and you'll lose gen pressure. That just depicts that the killer doesn't know when you drop a chase.
I always try to chase the weaker survivors first, because they will go down easily, and I'll gain more pressure.
Also, usually if I ignore cocky survivors who are gods at looping, they'll try to get my attention even more, hence, losing gen time. Which is only good for me.
I understand what you mean, although I wouldn't put myself as "The weakest link, " but not as the best player either.
In about 9/10 of the scenarios where I'm tunneled and camped it's because I looped the Killer for 3, 4 even 5 gens. Not straight out the gate.

Idk If it's just me, but If I get salt in my end game chats, I know I played really well and performed decently.
Specially, when I get a ruthless/merciless killer, and they say I "camped" and "tunneled". There's no way you can get a nice score just by standing still near a hook, actually you lose points for that lol :).
You're not alone, although I'm the survivor in this scenario. When I get tunneled or camped in a game I don't tend to get mad and complain like certain others. I take being the center of attention as a compliment. Ie if the Killer is focusing on me and only me it must be because I'm a threat.

I believe so, but not 100% sure they're might be something else

Did the killers actually say you were being tunneled because of the map? Regardless, bring Small Game instead or learn the totem spawns. They're not complicated, trust me.
After hooking I got the classic "Nope Nod." I'm running small game but I'm going to trade a map for Detective's huntch instead
-
Do some killers feel the same about Maps? I've been at this Thorough Cleansing challenge for awhile, and I keep getting tunneled because of it.
-
@BaldursGate2 said:
DO SOMETHING AGAINST TUNNELING FINALLY. EVERFY SECOND GAME IS SUCH A SCUMBAG THAT TUNNELS AND YOUR REPORT SYSTEM IS A ######### JOKE.
You should look on the bright side pal. Maybe the Killer isn't tunneling you to be an [BAD WORD]? Maybe the Killer sees you as a high priority target? Sometimes it's because you're injured yes, however with others they may think you're good at wasting they're time. So they want you sacrificed as fast as possible.
Feel flattered alittle is all I'm saying.

Fastest way to level up is just to play and play well. Can only speak from personal experience but i rank up faster on Killer
-
Clown because that Belly
Jane because that Jelly
-
Try Unbreakable for a while. It's actually pretty underrated because many killers will just pick you up instantly, however it's great when you're being slugged.
-
Being Betrayed
I even keep my own Family at a distance sometimes. I'd hate to grow close to someone only for them to turn there backs on me at the worst moment. Ik it's a [BAD WORD] thing to do with your own Family, but recently I've been opening up abit more and learning to trust them more.
-
It's just been released but I've had nothing but Enjoyment from West Of Dead so far. Although it is a grind it's a fun game.

So how good do you consider yourself to be in both roles? And how many hours do you have?
I personally think I'm a pretty good killer. I may not be one of the very best killers but I'd say I'm expert level at least. I win a good amount of my matches at rank 1 and my chases are usually short. As for survivor I'd say I'm mediocre at best. I know how to loop most tiles but I feel like I'm too susceptible to mind games if the killer is competent and sometimes I mindgame myself. I'm not too sure how many hours I have but I'm guessing around 800 across both xbox and ps4.
I'm rubbish in both roles. But tbh I've never really been good at any game, except maybe Titanfall. I have 31 days on record. But no clue how many for each.
-
It's good to hear The community is being alittle nicer to one another.
I too have received afew positive messages as Survivor. But slightly more toxic messages as Killer
-
About £40? Plus £10 for the base game. I have everything except cosmetics, 2 dlcs I got through shards.

@Vox_Nocturne said:
Just don't give them the attention. That's all they want: to show off the fact the can twiddle knobs and press buttons better than you in a game. Ignore and move on.
Alternatively, you could reply in character! I got a toxic message when I defeated some survivors as Hillbilly. There is nothing more empowering than replying to "You trash killer" with "HUWAAAHRGH *snort*".
Well, maybe not responding at all is more empowering. But being in character is fun!
Definitely gonna try that some time!

just know your projectile has travel time, so if the walk to the left or right, aim slightly infront of where they are going depending on the distance they are from you, the further they are, the more you need to aim ahead.
as always, practice makes perfect.
May take a while for me but yeah you're right. Practice, appreciate the advice I'll get to it😊

Kinda like Huntress but not really. His projectile is not hitscan so the further your target is, the more leading and predicting you have to do. Quick scoping is the best method, aiming for a prolonged period of time gives survivors plenty of warning to dodge unless they are out in the open. You sort of want to aim before you even scope. Aim for just under a second then shoot. If you miss, reload and try again. In short loops when a survivor is running one way, lead the shot just in front of them and shoot, drag them around the loop and hit.
You’ll find yourself missing shots that you thought would land and landing shots you thought you’d miss. It’s not perfect but if you lead and predict just right, you’ll hit your mark.
Also, when reeling in survivors, don’t walk towards them, walk backwards while reeling. This gives them less time to block themselves behind objects and it tends to get them to you faster, making teammate survivor body blocks harder.
Very interesting, I had no clue you had to sort of aim before you, well "Aim."
Appreciate the Advise Air, thank you

Remove Legion? He's totally fun... Wadda yo mean? (@_@)
No worries my friend its a joke name, I actually main him xD
-
I can only speak from my own experience, but learning to hit shots with Deathslinger is kinda tricky. I just bought him a hour ago and despite mostly playing Survivor he's nabbed my attention and I find him very fun to play. But abit hard aswell, I'm use to playing Myers with a huge terror radius. Don't get me started on huntress lol. I recommend you buy him and get to know your enemy.

@Murdle said:
For new survivors I would actually say USE spinechill. It's one of if not the best perk so why not?..
You have your counter to all stealth killers now and it helps you know if any killer is coming in your direction or not.
Telling new survivors not to use it is suuuch bad advice man. When I was new I hated these stealth killers sooo much cause by the time I saw them, they already were close enough to hit me.
Anyways my advice would be to use perks.. Have a good perkbuild.
Like 1 exhaustion perk, spinechill, 2 other perks you can switch it up for the most part to see what works best for you.
My point was learn how to locate killers on your own first. Spine chill is by far my favourite perk in the game. But I've become attached to it because I chose just running it instead of using my own brain to find the Killer. Now I can't play without it and when I do I play like a rank 15. If you do what I did you won't learn. Use spine chill of course, just not off the bat.
Other note I like your advice
Edit: Afew spelling errors

I'd bring in a Medkit. Personally, i'd rather repair a generator a bit slower than panic over being a one-shot until i can find someone else.
Would you rather prefer to get a Head on save or a Flashlight save?
Definitely a flashlight save. As pulling it off against a skilled player can sometimes be tricky(at least for me)
Would you rather FOR 12 HOURS STRAIGHT, Play with a toxic rank 1 who's very good at the game, Or a outgoing Rank 10 who's clearly been boosted?
-
1. Because you want to

I can only speak from personal experience, however I unlocked all the challenges quickly after they were released so I think it will help.
Just put it in the back of your mind. Don't take the challenge very seriously and play normally without thinking about it. Not only will they gradually unlock you may find yourself having more fun this way.
Just my 2 cents
-
I'm far to lazy to do all 19 so I hope a top 5 is OK.
5 Is The Doctor. I hate this guy:(
4. The Cannibal. Not because he's that hard to go against, more because 9/10 times he's a "One strike and you're out" kind of killer. If you get caught you're done as most LF's I personally meet just camp the hook revving they're saw.
3. Legion. Eww
2. Huntress. Especially players with skill I love a good challenge and good Huntress players always give me a good run for my money.
1. The nurse. When vsing a good Nurse you need to be on your toes every second. I love vsing Nurse

No you can't wiggle free. But like @Anevian said just put the chain through obstacles. Also try make sure that there is always obstacles between you and Slinger. This will give you better chances of finding a way to break it. And don't run in a straight line but don't wiggle and spin all of the place. Killers gain on you when you do that.
Thank you for the advice. I'll be sure not to wiggle anymore
-
@Anevian said:
If there is nothing between you and the killer you will never break free before he hits you (except maybe if he hits you at max range and the chain clips something for a second), which is likely intended. You have to put obstacles in the path of the chain to break it faster.
Oh......so it's not a matter of just wiggling like when he's carrying you. Appreciate the heads up😅

"Recently, I've been playing as killer (The Trapper) a lot. But I have been playing, and everytime I win the match, the people call me camper."
Camping is when the Killer is still on the map after hooking a survivor. Apologise and let them drop a pallet on your head NOW!
-
I was achievement hunting and attempting to knock out the "Taking one for the team" achievement which any Dead by daylight player will tell you is a long haul
Anyhoo I meet this guy playing trapper, after he gets alittle "too pleased" with himself over a dc and a throwing feng I told him about my situation(to be honest I wasn't the most "Respectable player" back then as this achievement has you throwing games to earn it) He others to help me out if we bump in to each other again. I express gratitude as the game loads.
OH younger RemoveLegion you should have known. The guy proceeded to tunnel me for the entire match, hitting me on hook and nodding. The jokes were on him though as all my team except me got out. And one of my teammates said to me after "Don't worry we hit him with the gg ez's for you"
Tbh I would have been OK with what he done had he just not agreed to help.

Plunderer's is your friend. You've got a decent chance of getting a key from a chest, so you won't run out. Aside from that, don't sweat it too much. Play like you normally would. Either you'll die, you'll be the last one alive, or the gens will get done and you can run around looking for the hatch.
I'll try that, Franklin's is the number one issue I'm struggling with during this challenge. Getting the key in game could prevent the Killer running it
