I normally try my up most to take in regard if possible things survivors may be trying to do eg tome stuff or exit gates in just a regular match I play .
But I do play both sides tho so I'm aware of the challenges probably more than a full devoted killer main may be and I know that challenges can be a pain in the butt sometimes .
If as a farming killer I would totally go out of my way to let survivors do what they need.Its only fair everyone gets what they want and it's just polite in all honesty.

I play tested builds with a friends on racoon city if I could counter the library with the build you suggested and I did but I went down the stairs rather than dropping down ... They really need to put a hook in the library to be honest tho because I barley made it I could not when brake out was in play .

I am Normally very kind to TTV that are in my lobby I bring party streamers and try to give them the most funnest match I can possibly give ...why do I do this I have seen it plenty of times as a survivor a TTV be completely singled out tunneled camp and I know it's a thing that happens I am sorry that it does.

It was my most valued achievement now I have to get it again thanks to the upgrade to ps5 yeah super sad times 😭
Grabs are super bugged you have to run a certain add on that does not allow you to blink through walls now to achieve three blinks...

Console needs extreme help especially in the killer side it runs perfectly ok on survivor on ps5 of course !
But the match making times on survivor are zzz the main reason console killers are struggling plz I beg if your playing survivor just take a moment to respect your killers it truly is muchly needed atm 🐷💖

I really wish they would really give us console gamers old gen and new improvements to avoid this experience .

Just played a match against a doctor and oh my the frame stutters was not fun at all yet again just to say I am on ps5 and it's sad to see that even new gen is having issues 🐷😐

I just want to apologize for not being so active since getting my ps5 I have not returned to see the state of dbd on it but I can see things are still not good I'm sorry fellow gamers!
I have been experiencing frame stutters increasing on ps5 since the new update it's very rare to actually get a game with out DC's also it's such a shame I was really looking forward and enjoying the advent .

- This is not a typical APvP game. The solo role is absolutely not the power role, and going in expecting it to be is setting yourself up for frustration.
- Instead, I look at it as me playing the 'enemy' in a videogame.
- I'm not there to all-kill. I'm there to be an obstacle, a threat. And if possible, scare you. I'm not the opposing team - I'm the 'killer' in a horror movie.
- In horror, the killer does not typically win. Usually there are one or two characters that escape (usually with the killer chasing them all the way) - the 'final girl', and sometimes her friend/boyfriend/what have you.
- I get way more blood points typically by chasing, hooking everyone multiple times and making sure I'm active and having fun. If you get a near escape, or manage to stun me, good on you - I'll find you soon.
- If you manage to earn my respect, by both playing well and not being toxic - I may even give you the hatch, or give you some breathing room.
- If you want to play M1 simulator, thrash out gens and escape faster, to my mind, you are only stealing fun from yourself, and will eventually hit an MMR where killers will be more interesting in camping, tunneling and slugging for that 4k.
- That said, if you BM me, all bets are off and I'm going to focus on killing you. Because the smarmy guy always gets it good in the movie. If I see you again, I'm probably going to bring a mori - just for you.
Man, has this helped. It may not be ideal, and I do wish that killers had more control over the game (and that more killers were decently powerful, and not so heavily reliant on a handful of perks) - but I've found that this change in mindset has made DbD umpteen times more fun.

So Hillbilly Main here mostly getting rekt by Survivors.
I eat all pallets that ever gets dropped, gets jukes and gets rekt for all my games since SBMM started. I haven't got a single 4K since Wednesday on Hillbilly. It's so hard where there's 4 survivor that knows their movement, You spawned in a Pallet City Map, and Strong Windows everywhere.
I try to chainsaw for the most part but every god dang team I faced forces me to M1. Is a Killer even good if you can't even use the dang power??
I mainly use BBQ, Pop, Enduring and Bamboozle. I don't want to bring the more powerful perks as I don't wanna sweat but these SBMM games are so frustrating.
I hope BHVR sees Hillbilly's performance on SBMM and get him the Wraith Treatment he deserves.
May I shake your hand Sir or Mam ? Firstly I want to thank you for playing Billy and I'm keeping my fingers crossed your on the EU servers so I may see you in the fog.

Just so you are aware that I've been noticing frame drops on ps5 on certain maps .

It's not the level of ps4 that I experienced but still it's a worrying sign of things to come for those that think new gen will fix the issues .
Even tho I'm not active as I once was I truly hope for fixes for my console gamers new and old
And I salute @Pulsar for all his efforts for improving our gaming experience 🐽💗

Honestly the legion mains I have had convos with on this forum have been so helpful and kind .I don't main legion but I do enjoy playing them out of respect to the legion mains that I have had such pleasure getting to know over my time here.

I'm kind of in the same situation.
I've been playing a ton of red dead redemption 2. Which runs soooooo much better than DBD despite it being light years ahead in terms of graphics.
Why do I now think our next plan is to protest for a cowboy hat for Mr bing bong ?

But true there is no reason why this game should be struggling only thing I can think of is that they hadn't had a team that could code for console and they are doing what they can till they get correct programmers on board ? I am hopeful too since I have been having very bad freezes and stutters that impact my experience of the game and if they don't drastically improve the performance. I might quit the game since this can't stay in this broken state.

I'm Back with round six of new clips showing how enjoyable the console experience is. Losing distance in chases as well as botching the loop is one way to get outplayed by the game. Just play better I guess.
In regards to the talk of SSDs, If it works then that's great for those that wish to spend the money. I personally will not be purchasing one as it is not worth the investment for me. I own a computer more than capable of running this game. I only play dbd on xbox because I am not restarting 100 days worth of playtime just for a better experience. I'm not gonna buy an SSD for almost eight year old hardware so I can play one game in a better state.
It should not be our responsibility to find ways to make the game run better. This game is capable of running smooth as butter on consoles. BHVR either can't fix it, choose not to, or aren't allowed the time to. I am in agreement with those that say we need an "Operation Health" Chapter. what is the point of releasing new DLC when I can't even use the new killer power in the first place. The freezes went from 0-1 seconds, to 2-3 when Nemesis came out, to now 4 or more seconds of freezing after the latest patches.
If I'm being honest I don't really want to play this game anymore, and that's coming from someone who's been playing at least bi-weekly since July 2018. I cannot outplay survivors when the game freezes at crucial moments. Same deal with playing survivor. I'm not even getting outplayed. It is the game itself giving me the finger as I try to do anything of value. I lag forward as well as even backwards sometimes as shown in the Ghostface clip. But as long as this forum post exists, I will continue to play and highlight just how trashy performance has become.
Yep beautiful isn't it definitely shows my experiences tonight in spades even on killers that don't have much craziness to their power trying to make sense of it is a lost cause I think sad part is I don't think it's going to improve I hope once the advents over maybe that might improve things who can say

The external SSD definitely improved performance on my PS4 Pro. See the above articles I linked for more information about the base PS4 and SSD drives.
I always recommend doing your own research before making a purchase, especially one this big. I'm sharing my own experience for anyone interested, because I know some of us are getting desperate, but I'm not a technical expert. Those links I posted are the only information about SSDs that I have.

Btw I even got to the point of resetting my router and restarting my game serval times just to play a few matches but still got frame drops out the butt
Seems to be most problems with the new updated relams maps more assets = sad times🐷😭 the only thing that seems consistent for me personally.
The only map I've had that was nice and least frame drops was grim pantry so maybe bring offerings for that my only suggestion currently 🐷💖
