Crashed out of the game in the middle of chase, and thats what I get!! a 15 minutes penalty and a depip from rank 1 to 2! thanks devs! what a good job Edit: All of you think I disconnect all the time please refrain from posting I only disconnected once 36 hours ago and it was only once, since the penalty started again I can tell I disconnected about 547 comments 1,141 views last activity

Just for fun, I did some small statistics and wrote down the perks of 100 red rank survivors I got matched with. I know some of you are interested in these statistics, so I thought I'd share the Top 10 with you. 46% DS 46% Self Care 31% Dead Hard 26% Iron Will 26% Sprintburst 23% Adrenaline 22% Borrowed Time 15% Unbreakable 14% Spine Chill 14% WGLF Since it's only 100 survivors,121 comments 2,772 views last activity

Hi killers of the fog Do you play the same killer over and over again to learn all the ins and outs about that killer Or do you play with all or most of the selection of killers?77 comments 1,641 views last activity

Hi i am new on this forum, however i am a veteran in DBD playing since the release. I noticed a official post about the new chapter coming on march the 10. instead of tomorrow. The release of the chapter was usually two weeks after the PTB started, it was so all the time. Me and lots of people exited for the new chapter took vacation in the work to play and stream it, and all of the sudden you ch34 comments 711 views last activity

Survivors can only use the Jigsaw box furthest from them. Should the pig stay around the box, trying to camp it, which would be hard anyways because it's hard to tell which box is the furthest, another box will become available. If the box is searched, and it doesn't have the key, another box will light up. This will make Rng less hurtful towards the pig. It will also make Rbts more threatening.5 comments 92 views last activity

Or a very good billy surpasses her, even if billy is more loopeable. My experience tells me that even in tourneys, playing Huntress is a very good option considering other teams bring billy Huntress is really strong in loops, less loopeable than billy, long range hatchets can count as map control. I see good billys struggle more than a top Huntress because we all know what to expect when play59 comments 2,901 views last activity

You don't need to hide and covet survivor/killer perk usage percentages like you're Gollum obsessing over The One Ring. The minimal amount of time that it would take to frequently do so would allow for consistent feedback, design ideas for underutilized perks, and promote actual discussion (backed by data) regarding problem areas that people are using perks to 'band-aid.' Is there an actual re38 comments 1,001 views last activity

https://youtu.be/o0XOSYLCTc4 Give it a watch. In short, he goes in as Bubba with Speed Limiter and Award Winning Chili, possibly the worst killer in the game with an addon that takes away his one positive of instadowns. Surprisingly, he nearly wins before 2 gens can get done. Survivors have made a bunch of mistakes, and naturally he is profiting off of them like a killer sh139 comments 5,012 views last activity

When playing survivor... I often open the Stopwatch on my phone to time each of my locker-hides perfectly, avoiding crows every time. (I do this as revenge to killers who camp like the noobs they are. You want to ruin the game? Fine, I'll make you stay for another hour, laughing at you every time you pass. Then I'll change lockers to an area you've just thoroughly searched, and wait again..41 comments 731 views last activity

I thought the definition of a 4k was killing all 4 people in general. My boyfriend says that a 4k is hooking all 4 people at the same time. I swear I've seen people refer to killing all 4 people throughout the trial as a 4k, so what is the actual definition of it?5 comments 1,092 views last activity

More experienced players might know why this is a bad idea but it seems to me that in my journey to level 16 as killer I seem to be: A: Playing a lot of survivors way above my rank (I guess that is match making) B: Watching everyone wasting time in the exits waiting for me to eventually get there just so they can bounce up and down pointing like idiots until I try to hit them and they run out.89 comments 11,631 views last activity

Recently @Almo stated that if Legion doesn't see generators aura while in Feral Frenzy it's a bug and should be posted in Bug Report . This made me think: how many bugs we ALL know about, but maybe Devs don't? What is a bug and what is an intended behaviour? So, here's my idea: let's create a mega thread with all the relevant bugs we know and encounter, plus what may be a bug or may be16 comments 191 views last activity

1 Chest per game regularly, with a random add on inside. A Perk that increases the add ons rarity for the killer. Small chance to hold a mori inside like keys are a thing in chests too. Thoughts? Rants? Let me know :)19 comments 391 views last activity

Toolboxes nerfed? Honestly, the sabo aspect made it a lot stronger and killer's time wasting. If the Survivors in red ranks are competent - gens will fly anyway, no matter what the Killer does. Survivors are just tough and strong and they have got lots of awesome second chances which work against all Killers players, not only tunneling/camping. And incredibly poorly designed maps like farm,81 comments 2,091 views last activity

I apologize if this sounds like a rant. We had this problem with 99%ing Gens years ago and it was fixed by allowing the killer to regress progress. Whats the point of the EGC if the survivors sit at the Exit Gate BMing and open it once they see you approaching or hear your heartbeat. Survivors should be opening the gates asap. This also isn't just a killer problem. I've had few occasions as43 comments 1,461 views last activity

Would making it so Killers can consistently rack up 40-50K+ BPs per match (base, without BBQ) incentivize players to play as Killer more? The point would be to get more players in that role to at least HELP A LITTLE with queue times. Let’s face it: the game will NEVER be balanced to everyone’s liking and killers will always struggle against good teams. But bloodpoints seems to be a common intere34 comments 681 views last activity

Am I the only one that feels the devs are scared to make strong perks now? I think the Mettle of Man debacle has caused future perks to be too weak. Many new perks have long cooldowns, multiple conditions to activate, etc. They're just too niche to have real power. I'm not excited for Chapter 15 for this reason, and the same could be said about the Oni and Stranger Things DLCs as well. There see59 comments 1,721 views last activity

I propose to change the archives and put the notes for the lore only on Free to play challenge by that i mean not giving a note on a challenge where you have to buy a dlc killer or survivor to complete it , because many of us are interested by the lore but cant maybe give money etc.. Also i propose to give the possibility for the f2p players to get all the skins too with the grind on the fault ,4 comments 61 views last activity

I'ts been about a month since the announcement of the new MMR system and people have developed a lot of questions within that period of time, I think me and many others have the same questions, so I thought I would make this to see if they could be answered. 1: While rank would no longer correlate to your matchmaking "skill rating", could the current ranking system be changed in order to show ou15 comments 271 views last activity

This post isn't a demand for five perk slots, just a suggestion. I've played the game since release and have played quite regularly since then. I play both sides fairly equally, survivor more so simply because I play with friends. I typically like playing non-meta builds since I get bored quickly of standard DS/DH/BT on survivor or BBQ/Pop/SB etc. on killer. Currently, Predator has the downside of making distant tracks hard to spot; they are kept low to the ground unless a Survivor rubs against a tree or wall. Instead, the tracks a Survivor leave should start out compact and close together, as the current Predator does, but they should spread out and grow to still be visible from a distance. Note that only the tail end will be visible from a distance3 comments 111 views last activity

I'm relatively new to the community and have around 8 hours of play time at the time of writing this. I mainly play killer and I've been having some weird matches. After I passed killer rank 18 it seems to keep throwing me in with higher levels. These players will wipe the floor with me to put it bluntly. I usually only get 1 kill at most. What if there was a way to watch your previous games? there are several games that already have this and its really nice, especially if you wanna make montages and stuff like that. This would also help players analyze what happened in the game and why, thus making them better in the long run. I know this game has a lot of problems that need to be fixed before they implement this but its just12 comments 251 views last activity

Why dont all survivors just run DS, BT, DH and Adren/Unbreak ? Excluding not owning the DLC's obviously. Personally im not try hard enough to do it, I know how powerful it is but in my years of gaming I have found many many MANY players do gravitate towards that which just gives them the biggest advantage. So yeah, why dont you run that build all the time?171 comments 7,111 views last activity

Have y'all noticed how many perks and killers now have a long ass cooldown on everything they do? Legion, Doctor, Freddy, Spirit, Plague and some older killers have so many cooldowns on their powers. Not to mention the last few perks sets have had just consistent cooldowns and its very annoying. All of the best perks don't have a cooldown on them. DS, BT, adrenaline, DH, and unbreakabill. Alright, I don't DC enough to find out. But people are outright saying that DC penalties are multiplied for killer. This doesn't sound right at all. How does the DC penalty work, is it a timer independent for each side? Or is it a shared consequential timer? Ie. I play 2 killer matches, DC from each and get a 5 minute timer for both, then play survivor and get a 15 minute timer (vice versa, fl27 comments 551 views last activity

This is only for hybrid Players(play killer and Survivor). Which side do y'all think needs to be buffed? Y'all don't have to explain why. I just wanna see people's answer. Me personally, I think killers need to b a bit stronger. Let's keep things civil and respectfully disagree if our opinions differ.68 comments 1,901 views last activity

I beat a hag to the hatch stood on it and got no prompt to exit. Seconds later she ran up with me standing on the open hole and shut the hatch and killed me. She said this new feature, you can't leave if the killer is close is part of the update. I think this kind of stinks. It is hard enough to find the hatch, but not to be able to use it if the killer is close is junk. It should be if you beat12 comments 281 views last activity

Just had a game where where I blocked the last jigsaw box that this one guy hadn't searched through and got a party hat kill. When the developers did the community cosmetic contest, fans of DBD got to have their cosmetic ideas put into the game. People have many ideas for killers, survivors, cosmetics, maps, and perks. The recent chapters that have released had perks the community felt were lackluster and weak. So many people have cool and new ideas for perks that would definitely change things up a bit. When the gens are finished and I've got my BP nearly max everything except for survival why should I go back into the game and risk my 5k BP at the very end ,because you went down and wanted to be saved? Why does anyone care that i leave early? The team worked together because it's the best chance for survival. So when my survival is guarentee why shouldn't I take it?38 comments 901 views last activity

In todays Q&A stream there were 10 pages of questions including the question category "misc" but the DbD team did not pick a single one about the lost event skins. No news about them. Kinda interesting that they mentioned they've already found a way to identify people who lost them back in November and still no news about the restoration. Firstly I'd like to say I play both survivor and killer 50/50 so I'm talking from both sides. My reasoning behind saying killers probably should lose their red stain is I personally think the game is more fun when there are jump scares, which only really happens with stealth killers. My favourite moments from playing as a survivor are when you look around and see the killer such as ghostface or69 comments 1,861 views last activity
