Horrible idea dude. Like don't get me angry.
-
If I get 2 kills as Huntress vs pro survs it's a loss. If I get 2 kills as clown vs pro survs feels like a win.

What about ds, borrowed time?

then youd know huntress and billy have no chance against them, hell i dont think billy has ever hit me with that thing unless i messed up by going into a dead end i thought a window was open... im not here to argue though everyone can have their opinion but from my experience billy, huntress are lower, so are some others while others move up but once again thats my experience and my opinion
My Billy has no chance because I'm decent with him, not top.
My Huntress does, probably I won't make 12 hooks but still they can die. That's my experience vs the best survs I've played against. I'm not sayin I'm going to kill all 4 100% sure. But it's a pretty reasonable output.

wraith is hit and run not 1v1, huntress is a better 1v1 but if people block line of sight and keep running youre wasting way too much time due to your speed... you say high end but what does that even mean? iv never seen a billy get chainsaws against the top and huntress gets destroyed by lack of pressure.. if youre just counting red ranks that doesnt matter as ranking is flooded with noobs who should be purple ranks at best
High end refers to at least top 1% of players. Simply as that. Best players in terms of skill, mecanics, knowledge on the game.
I'm counting scrims, tournamments , matchmaking games vs very good players, evidence that I see from other players profficient on other killers playing with very good survs, etc.
In a normal rank 1 game most people is average on both sides, I'm not counting that. Every high end player destroys at rank 1 on both sides because the huge difference on skill. Here I'm counting high end vs high end.
Rank is not a thing here, I'm at rank 1 since the first week I started playing the game back in 2017.

i dont get why billy and huntress are so high up tbh, billy is very loop able and he wastes so much time trying to get chainsaw hits against people who can loop and huntress will not have any pressure on the bigger maps even more so with the ruin change.. i guess this is your opinion though so you can place them where you like, but some of the killers you have placed high i find some of the easiest to loop
This tier list is not an opinion. I take experience from tournaments played by me and a lot of evidence taken from other high end players that I see.
In a tourney you should never use a killer lower than A tier or you are pretty much screwed. Maybe Ghostface with a little bit of luck can also be competitive.
Huntress and Billy are very good choices vs very good survs on practically every map, even on bad maps for them they still perform better than B tier. Considering the players using the killers are proficient with them.

Huntress and Billeh are overrated.
Anna - the slowest Killer in the game, and she has to break chases when she is out of hatchets.
Billeh - pretty much an m1 Killer if Survivors play safely.
Wraith - really? Speed (with add-ons though) and stealth is damn strong combo. Did you actually play him?
It's almost imposible that I miss 5 hatchets on a single chase. If I end it because of that I had 2 or 1 hatchets at the start which means I downed 1 or two survivors earlier without realoding to continue the snowball.
Wraith chase potencial is pretty low vs good survs, easily rushed. Low slug/snowball potencial comparing to A tier.
The tier list is make around high end players, assume those killers at played at max potencial. Same on surv side.

I mostly agree. As a Hag main, I definitely agree that she can have a hard time against coordinated survivors. Her whole shtick is to create chaos, and good players on comms limit how much panic you can induce. I agree on Nurse as well. You have to guess at LOS breaks, especially when closing the distance. People mistakenly assume there's always a correct blink to make, when in reality a lot of Nurse is guesswork. High end survivors mix up their pathing. It's very possible to incorrectly guess a coin flip multiple times in a row.
Exactly

Billy is HORRIBLE to verse against because he can literally hit you from behind a tree (Just happened to me). His hitboxes are huge for no reason and all he has to do is right behind you with RT then you instantly go down. He's balanced but not at all fun to verse. And even against co-ordinated SWF Hag will dominate. I just dont think you've gone against or are a good hag. (Not meant in a mean way)
I dont think your have never went against me.
Play hag vs my premade, or Michi, or whoever and if they not dc like Micho did they will get stomped.

Few issues i have with this:
- Huntress has very minimal map pressure, even if you are ending chases in 30 seconds, all the gens can still be done. Maps also completely screw her over as shes only 110% speed
- Nurse is better than billy, she cant be looped
- Demo is nowhere near B tier, i would put him below pig
- Plague is better than myers 100%
- Oni is too reliant on early game, should be moved to low b
- Freddy is better than Huntress
Of course this is my o p i n i o n
Slightly changes, I think demo is decent enough to be B tier. Good map control and pretty decent power useful in jungle gyms and the shack.
Nurse can't be looped but she can be outrun and when close enough she can be mindgamed, so she loses time anyway. She is not as strong or unstoppable as she used to be.
-
Up
-
Hag is bad vs swf or coordinated survs, it's B tier.
Oni is no way better than billy. Huntress is better than plague, myers, demo, oni by far.
0/10
-
Default skin of every surv. Probably rank 20's which is boring
-
Switch hag with Huntress, put Freddy the last of A tier after nurse, ghostface the best of B tier followed by Demo and Oni and then you will have a proper tier list.

A minority of exceptionally good players can loop a Billy yes, that doesn't change the fact that average Hillbillys still land about 20 instadowns per game on a team of survivors of the same skill level.
No other killer in the game lands that many instadowns per trial. None even come close. Not Oni, not Myers, not LF, not GF.
If killers get nerf because survs are bad then good players will escape and stomp easily any killer.
No game is balanced around bad players.
Billy is pretty loopeable, you have to learn how to play surv. Not personal, is what I would say to anyone that asks for demands without having learned the mechanics of the game.
It's Like balancing the game around Bronze or silver in League of Legends.
It simply has no sense at all.

And from what I see, regardless of rank most of Billys hooks throughout a trial are done by chainsaw.
My point is that most survivors go down to it. The people playing Billy aren’t really any better than the survivors. Just take a few add ons and anyone can be boosted by him.
Again he has too much strength for how easy he is to use.
Don’t get why the community focused on Spirit when in general people struggled much more to play Spirit than Billy.
So you could destroy my premade playing Billy 🤣?
If he is that easy you should be a champion
-
@ClickyClicky said:

So then maybe Billy is too easy to use for how strong he is.
The average survivor may be bad, but they can easily pick up a Billy and trash a team of players of the same skill level. Why does the survivor require so much more skill?
Untrue. Playing survivor well enought to loop for a while a good billy is quite easy if you have some iq, experience and you are not an overall potatoe. I'm excluding 95% of the survs here.
Even if billy has speed or instachainsaw addons he is very loopeable.
If somebody is bad is his problem, improve before asking for nerfs.
Playing billy at a very high lvl needs thousand of hours, a lot of skill and dedication. And still he gets looped if survs are decent.
An average billy in rank 1 gets destroyed by good survs.

Everyone says he can be looped quite easily and yet everytime I go against a Hillbilly he ends up having almost every hit on a survivor done with his chainsaw.
Your average survivor will go down to an average Hillbilly. You need the survivors to be vastly better than the Billy.
Na, a very good billy is loopeable.
The thing is 95% of the playerbase is bad
-
She is bad vs coordinated survs (SWF that plays well)
She is good vs don't aware survs
She can easily camp a hook with distance, which is what every hag tries to exploit.
So no, not consistent, not fun to play against comparing to billy
Billy is loopeable but still strong. Fun to verse, very strong if you have mecanics.
-
2600 hours as Huntress, 100 hours other killers, 500 hours surv.
I play more surv now than before, still 80% Huntress.

Yeah, show me how she gets looped for entire minutes on maps with tons of high walls loops like Cowshed or Family Residence or how she gets infinited looped on the super safe buildings from Disturbed Ward or Grim Pantry.
I destroyed a team formed by some of the best survs in europe in cowshed. A team that would destroy any hag that writes here.
Family reaidence Is good for hiding, you are not going to loop me much there. Actually you're not going to loop me much on any map.
Why would any killer follow someone in a infinite considering there's no gen there. Btw, most probably you won't get to reach those infinites.
Grim pantry is a good Huntress map, disturbed ward is also a good huntress map.
you don't seem to know that an experienced premade with OOO and maybe ( not even needed) some flashlights would completely destroy hag on any map. And if you think this is wrong, I can bring a premade vs your hag. And if you say Huntress would get stomped too, I tell you, bring any swf you want, I'll be the huntress.

Long range hatchets are situational and can be easily countered by aware survivors.
Hag can cut any loop in the game with her traps. There are loops that Huntress simply can't contest.
Hag also has a very strong basement and on top of that, she has better anti loop, map pressure and perk synergy. She outclasses Huntress in almost every aspect.
I am in a Discord with players with thousands hours in the game and all of them agree that Hag is better than Freddy. So your argument about your friends is irrelevant.
Huntress is far superior than hag. And I can show it to you
-
@KuromiStarwind said:
No, because even the best Huntress is one mistake away from losing a game. She sucks on a ton of maps, she cannot apply a lot of map pressure on large maps or even smaller maps with a lot of LoS breakers, she gets punished on some maps that cannot have or easily have hatchets thrown over some loops.
There are so, so so many things that can make a Huntress just lose and do badly, even the best Huntress' will tell you it. If you're playing against real potatoes, like any killer, she absolutely rekts them if you have decent aim.
I don't know, huntress can down good survivors very fast. If you select your chases well, hit some snipes, and play with brain...
I have my opinion on Huntress considering I'm one of the players that has more hours with her.
Nurse without addons now... She can be outrun pretty easily. On small maps she is probably godly but on normal size maps mmm

Maps like Hawkins or the Game, against good survivors, are borderline unwinnable as Huntress. She's just a 110 killer with no power at that point.
I don't think so. You can win even without going fully tryhard, if you add slug, proxy, etc...
Actually hawkins just has unsafe loops.

It's already been established that a coordinated group will win against every killer.
Add to this the fact that you would know which killer you're going against and it's a non-challenge.
You want to sound tough? You can't do it by bringing your friends along lol
Huntress, nurse and spirit are stronger vs coordinated teams than hag.
I play solo too, sometimes survs are good sometimes potatoes obviously. The idea of bringing players in a custom game is to put 4 survivors that know what they are doing.
I'm open to play killer vs 4 of your survivors too btw.

Found the former 3 blink range nurse.
She's still the most powerful killer in the game, full stop. The only difference now is that she actually has to plan out her blinks, rather than just whiff over and over again until she finally landed a hit. Good nurses are just as good, the only ones who think new nurse is bad (or somehow loses to Sprint Burst or "just break chase and hide") were bad nurses crutching on addons.
As for Huntress, on good huntress maps like Blood Lodge she's godly, especially in the right hands. But certain maps are just auto losses for her. If we count every killer on their best map I think she's top 3, otherwise she's around 6th or 7th, just about tied with Demo. Nurse, Spirit, Billy, Oni, Freddie and Hag are all better than her when all maps are considered.
Uff not an autolose for sure. She has very good maps and some bad ones, but still she is stronger than most killers on those maps
-
@Weederick said:
Not the best, but among the best. I would rate her the most difficult to achieve toptier status. But i find her better against good survivors than Billy. Having consistent short chases is more beneficial than shorter travel times between hooks, against good teams. Huntress is made to down good survivors, while Billy is perfect for snowballing potatoes.
Yes, this is what I think

You are aware that killer is harder to play on console right? Wouldn't that mean that console killers are better?
That means you are way more limited which by definition makes controller killers underperform comparing to computer players.
Anyway, that's not the point of the thread

I double dare every cocky hag player to play vs my swf.

Her range makes her a very powerful killer, however, she is far from being top tier. Yes certain people are amazing with her, but I mean certain people are amazing with piggy.
Her problem is she is very map based. For example, the indoor maps make it hard for her to hit a hatchet as survivors can quickly duck into rooms. Maps such as Hadnofun has tall walls and vehicles she can't throw around. These type of maps drastically effect her power and turn her into basically an M1 killer. Which being one of the slowest M1 killers makes her weak.
You can throw to the head in haddonfield cars, or bait survivor movement to hit them on the long sides of the car. Like on gas heaven car garage.
The surroundings of the road area in haddonfield are good for Huntress.

No, she's much map dependent, in some tiles (like grim pantry) there's literally nothing you can do.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/966490#Comment_966490
It would take skill if huntress actually have to hit the survivor, it doesn't make sense that huntress hit the wall and it "hits" does it?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/966264#Comment_966264
Im tired of people saying huntress hitboxes are fine, pls play some survivor games against huntress and then post :)
Thank you
Hahahaha dude I usually run Huntresses for a lot of time, enough to make them lose the game. Primary because I have lots of hours with her so I know how to counter Huntress.
The problem is you, you are mediocre as surv, get good, that's it. Whinning won't make you improve.
Huntress throw projectiles, she is not hitscan, survivor hitboxes are 100% fine in this scenario.
Lesser hitboxes would make her unplayable no matter your skill with her since she would be super easy to dodge (It has already been tested).
-
Practise with Huntress until they regret to bring OOO to the trial
-
Eternal debate
-
Hitboxes are fine, lesser hitboxes make Huntress unplayable. In fact some items have way to big hitboxes like closets or hooks. The only issue is the latency problem on the animation, that happens in a lot of FPS tho.
-
@snozer said:
She is unfair, I am usually all for killers getting fun things but the hatchet hit boxes and your servers need to be addressed.
I am tired of dodging right while the huntress clearly throws left, but still hits me.
I am tired of dropping a pallet early and running behind a wall to be downed by a hatchet thrown at the middle of the pallet.
I am tired of being hit behind walls in general.
I don't know what you can do because anything that dresses killers with terrible ping, will make it horrible for killers with good ping, but i at a point where i just want to walk over to a hook and stand there when it is a huntress game.
Am i the only one experiencing this against huntress?
@laurelstroodle said:
Same here, it makes me wants to dc against huntress cause I know im getting some bs hit.
And if I need tbh 90% of huntress win their games because of the broken hitboxes, not because they're skilled.
@Endstille said:
This is the reason why huntress takes no skill. I hope the devs will at some point fix that, it is just stupid.
I bet I can run your Huntress for minimum 2 minutes. And I'm not that good as survivor, if I call a good one he runs you for 4 minutes.
I expect that that you're some low hours players that haven't played much Huntress. Probably not even killer.
Huntress needs a lot of practise to be functional against survivors that know what they are doing. Most Huntresses doesn't have that lvl. If you get stomped every time maybe it's because your own gamer flaws.

Devs should fix tree hitboxes, closet hitboxes, a lot of objects with massive hitboxes, bambu hitboxes, leaf hitboxes, etc.

Spirit isn't any more impossible to loop than Nurse is. Trapper is impossible to loop as long as he has a trap. Hag is impossible to loop. Spirit is just difficult. With bloodlust I guess we could say all killers are after a point impossible to loop. But then when was it established looping the same object over and over was good or necessary? If it were why on earth did they remove infinites? To make it more reasonable?
Then I guess the argument boils down to degree. And that, Scott, is in the realm of subjective opinion. When you and others put Ruin as a perk almost necessary at all times we can assume the gens move too fast. So then where does the logic come from that making delaying through loops the right path to take for any killer?
Additionally, with Ruin being almost universally required, it kind of makes a good argument against your assertion that survivors shouldn't be forced to choose perks based on what killer they have the most difficulty against.
All the killers you mentioned have counters.
Trapper: m1 killer if you know where the traps are, he has no traps, or you simply didn't get caught on one yet.
Hag: Heavily countered by SWF and OOO, m1 slow killer while no traps, if you trigger one there are still possible mindgames to do.
Nurse: Make her lose the line of sight with you, put distance, fake directions, etc, etc.
Spirit: No data available

What does that have to do with anything? The topic is "Spirit is impossible to loop", which I believe is true. Where does VOIP come into play there?
If the Spirit has headsets the survivor skill doesn't matter, you could be an average player or the best survivor with 10k hours, both are going to last the same. Which is unfair, boring and stupid.
Any player that I consider profficient in the survivor side defends that she has no counters.

Do us all a favour and stop being a dirty liar, no killer actively calls for the nerf of characters or complains there isn't enough variety when playing as "SURVIVOR"
I'm a killer main and I call the same.
You guys only play one side and rely on the easiest broken character in the game (spirit).
