Since update, any perks that I unlocked whilst only leveling to 45 and not prestiging are gone forever to any character for which I've not unlocked it in that character's bloodweb? Since the meta is no more (at least currently there isn't a new one), people are experimenting with perk loadouts. Here we go, time for me to share my input on this patch. As a person who mainly plays soloq survivor, I can definitely feel a difference in my games. It doesn't necessarily feel like the gen I'm sitting on takes forever or that my personal chases are worse, but the overall game dynamic feels a little off. Most times I play solo Q. It’s not as bad as everyone makes it sound. The reason is because while soloing you think for yourself when it comes to escaping. This means knowing when to let all others die so you can have the chance of escape. Example if Trapper/Hag has 2+ people in the basement. Do gens and cleanse. Leave. So many new meta's and fun combinations to try thanks to all the buffs! Poor survivors with no new good combinations from their "buffs" :(... Easier to tunnel and camp them as well thanks to the DS/ DH removal, and they only got 1 buff which is OTR, the rest of their buffs aren't really buffs because they come at a cost like reduced speed or inactivating after the gates are powered. Right now the 100% bonus you get for playing survivor role multiplies ALL bloodpoints you've gained in the match, not just the ones you've got initially before other bonuses. Is it intended or not? Yesterday, I prestiged many of my characters, so that they'd be at p3 once the update came out. Yoichi, Jeff, Jane, and Felix to name a few. But for whatever reason, those prestiges got reverted. So I logged on today, and it was as if none of those prestiges had ever happened, and none of them have any prestige progress. Is there a fix for this? Before this update, you generally needed 1-2 gen slowdown perks to ease things on the killer side. Of course, it was definitely possible to win without gen slowdown perks, but it required the killer to play near perfect in most matches and for survivors to make more mistakes than the killer did assuming everyone was around the same skill level and were adequately doing their objectives. Mindgames in chases actually matter. Now its a mental fight between survivors and killers. Not press E to win anymore. As killer you feel less forced to tunnel and camp as it seems games are slower now, so more chases, more fun, more opportunities for everyone, more BP! Although I am thinking this only applies to basic attacks, it's worded like it will work on things like Nemeseseseseseseseses whip, and Demos Shred. Exact wording below. Cooldown time after a successful hit has been reduced to 2.7 seconds (was 3 seconds) Does anyone know for sure? Ever since I learned impossible skill check doc, he quickly became my main killer (Hag -> Legion -> Twins -> Doctor) and now that overcharge is buffed, I can assume we'll see a lot more of him and hopefully there'll be more builds that use his terror radius. Its apparently very difficult to trust others to do generators and unhook in a timely manner. In fact, its so hard to hold m1 that people would rather kill themselves rather than do anything to actually make the game fun to play.
