The real reason Solo Q sucks for me

Most times I play solo Q. It’s not as bad as everyone makes it sound. The reason is because while soloing you think for yourself when it comes to escaping. This means knowing when to let all others die so you can have the chance of escape. Example if Trapper/Hag has 2+ people in the basement. Do gens and cleanse. Leave. When the EG is powered, and NOED is up. If you experience any doubt as to why you shouldn’t save anyone else? Leave. For if you stay 75% of time you end up dead. This is really how the game was intended to be more or less.

Now I’ve been running Sole Survivor and Wake Up to maximize my ability to open EGs. The problem is what is fundamentally wrong with the entire experience of the game. SWFs…

It’s bad enough that SWF have synergy, and comms that ruin the experience for most killers. What’s worse is that if you’re soloing with a duo, or a trio the dead ones WATCH you. Meaning 50% of the time they’ll have their remaining buddies sandbag you with the hope that their buddy will be spared. Even if all their buddy did was hide and get downed the entire trial. You can’t hide, or run anywhere. Ruining any chance of escape.

In essence SWFs ruin DBD in every single aspect... One solution is to take away the ability to spectate someone who isn’t part of your posse. Another is to change survivor POV inside of lockers. Once inside you only see through the peep holes. That way solos can hide their whereabouts from killers, and toxic survivors.
