I was curious how the game would go, and I'm here to tell you that generators can be completed way too quickly. So, that's why killers are running all these gen regression perks. Just a little rant, it feels horrendous to go through this game after game. I feel like the "it's a horror game" argument is thrown around a lot when it comes to balancing the game. To be more specific, I always see people say "Survivors dont fear the Killer" as a means to buffing aspects of the game which often do not have any correlation to making people feel fear. With the amount of perks in DBD, there is a lot of room to experiment. So a lot of people make these builds that revolve around a single gimmick. Sometimes they work, sometimes they dont, but they are fun to toy around with nonetheless. And it's the time you play the game. I work weird hours and play dbd at all times of day. The difference is massive when you play in the morning compared to night. Mostly because morning time kids and teens are playing. They are wayyyy more prone to DC, throw matches and so on. Something goes a bit wrong? Leave immediately. So, here I am, with BBQ/Lethal Pursuer/Shadowborn/Nowhere to Hide, and I spawn into Lery's. The game actually goes pretty well--get two Survivors out, two gens still to go. Possibly too well, as most of the map's pallets are still around. Commence holding W from pallet to pallet after one of the survivors for long enough that the other one completes the two gens. Currently, there is about a 25% chance that you'll be put into a game where everyone has unbearable rubberbanding. This isn't a local network issue, other players have told me that they're experiencing the same issue, and people have been disconnecting or giving up when this happens. In most PvP games, if you don't have any teammates who need you, you can concede the match at any time and that's that. You lose, your opponent wins, end of story. But the Killer not only won't get any points from the match but receives a matchmaking penalty for conceding? As the topic suggests, this challenge is a complete mess. I've purposefully gone into lockers as soon as I'm being chased and it doesn't complete. The more 4Ks you achieve by targeting only one survivor, the more MMR moves you up to where that one survivor is harder and harder to catch. Camping and tunneling is a feast or famine playstyle too. So once you hit the MMR where Survivors start to avoid you successfully, it’s usually a stomp. Just had my third match where exit gates are spawning almost right next to each other. Happened earlier on Ormond and just now on Azarov. Both gates were on the exact same wall maybe 25 meters apart with a straight line of site to each one. When exit gates triggered, four survivors were alive. I get it, you load into a Killer match wanting your sweat fest 4K. But you load in and there is 300+ ping for everybody. You can’t properly move and the game is practically unplayable. Is it just me or does it feel like this mid chapter taking longer than usual? Regardless, the twins rework surely has to be coming in either this mid chapter or next mid chapter. Like, seriously? If someone doesn't do ANYTHING apart from moving an inch once every 30 sec, haven't touched a gen or unhooked anyone or got into a chase, or cleansed a totem or whatever in the last...5-10min...just mark them with crows...
