I would say 25% of my games are ruined by DCer's and it is escalating. Don't like the killer? Get downed first? I disconnected from an Apex Legends ranked game and got a 5 minute timeout. So im glad that BHVR is adding more bp scoring events for survivors, so that we can fill up our bloodpoints faster even in games where everyone dies really fast. Though i would like it if they upped the bloodpoint gain from being in the killer's terror radius without being in a chase. Then gave those points to survival. Freddy has no Terror Radius when a Survivor is asleep, right? Instead he has the lullaby. So borrowed time doesn't work if a rescuer is asleep: but if not, the guy who got rescued and maybe hit again would get the deep wound effect but without terror radius. Just had a match against a 3 or 4 man team. two are red ranks, one purple, one green rank. They got slaughtered by doctor, 1 gen completed, 1 dced. and green rank had highest bloodpoints out of all of them. I ran discordence, ruin, overcharge, and hex:haunted grounds. So ive been playing a lot more killer lately and im starting to understand why killers hate haddonfield so much. Though some of these might just be me being bad at killer. Balanced landing of course. This is becoming the norm for killers. Imo it slows the game down. I know there are valid reasons for this strategy and I am not deriding it as a valid endgame option. I am just looking for any ways to discourage this by killers. Anytime a thread starts about punishment for DC you get people coming out in droves supporting DC because “addons OP,” “real life stuff happens,” “it’s only a game,” and so on. So instead of bans or timeouts I have a simple fix, stick people with other people who DC the same amount. Grim Pantry was against a Legion who never used his power or did anything but camp every person he downed to full hook stage, not me or anyone else had Borrowed Time so we did the smart thing which was doing gens, first guy dies then as he's carrying Nancy to hook I distract him via body blocking and managed to have Nancy wiggle, 10 seconds later Nancy goes down and immediately dc's. While I appreciate the new content and the need to turn a buck it seems like BHVR needs to pause and fix some serious root bugs and mechanics. Are there any stats on people who have been banned for saying toxic stuff? (i.e #########, die of cancer, slurs, etc.) I think a revamp of the report system would be beneficial to DBD in general. Overwatch has a system where you get notified if a player you reported had actions taken against them. I get around 60 ping to the servers on the west coast and my internet is good so I'm not quite sure what the deal is. Man I was this close to winning a game but I died because of my dumb teammate So what happened was there was only one generator left and I got hooked. Lately I've been having this problem where I keep thinking the Pig or Ghostface are survivors. Their crouch really throws me off and especially if someone brings mist offerings.
