Huntress is a top tier killer and is already capable of punishing pallet drops.
That's not at all what I'm talking about. I'm just saying that in her pallet-breaking animation itself, it would look better and make more sense if she used her axe to break it instead of kicking it.

How do I convince my wife's boyfriend that he's wrong for enjoying Survivor?
For the past two days every time I walk by my bedroom and see him in there playing with a SWF with meme perks I get absolutely livid. I cannot believe he would betray this exclusively killer main household like this.
Sometimes I'd step in and say something like "H-hey Kieth, um, you know that playing in a Survive With Friends is basically an exploit, right? Like it makes aura perks like Bond almost useless a-and you can constantly call out the killer's location"
And he'd always say something ######### stupid like "Not now, champ. Go back to your room me and your wife need to have an important talk"
One time I tried to redditpill him again and said "H-hey Kieth you know that survivor is really unfun to go against because of Ruin Undying. And some killers are uninteractive to go against like engravings billy, um like you don't have enough time to react to the curve around loops. Don't you wanna join us and main spirit instead"
Now get this Reddit. He had the AUDACITY to say "I don't really care about ruin, its just a infinite flashbang generator. But if my team suffers too much from Ruin I'll maybe try to cleanse it with counterforce. I just want to focus on stunning the killer with head on"
I immediately ran out of the room sobbing, I sat at my desk and threw my chicken tenders all over the floor in disgust. He is a totem cleanse exploiter.
I just don't get it reddit. I'm at my wits end at this point. I cannot fathom how someone could enjoy exploiting in the current state of the game. I've already tagged the developers at least 13 times in my Reddit comment manifestos do you think I should start tagging him as well? I don't even know if he checks Reddit.
God comment.

Honestly.

50/50 player, these are some of the worst changes I've ever seen them bring to the game. Everything is so hard to see now. I can't even tell when BBQ And Chili is giving me information anymore. What was the point of this?
-
I agree with everything and everyone in here. These changes would be so nice.
-
I agree. This is something that I had really hoped they would do when they announced legendary skins. They should be like premier skins in Injustice 2, where the character literally changes to the character of the premier skin. The name changes, they get a different voice, and they get new dialogue interactions and voice lines, all to suit the new character (obviously DBD doesn't have dialogue). If the skin is Lisa Garland, you should be playing AS Lisa Garland, and not Cheryl Mason.
-
Or do the opposite. Have rooms with a constant faint Terror Radius. This would be a soft buff to Terror Radius perks, as Survivors in this room would be under the constant effect of these perks, if the Killer runs any of them. For example, a Survivor in one of these rooms would scream when the Killer downs someone with Infectious Fright. Or, if the Killer Overcharges a generator in one of these rooms while having Unnerving Presence, the impossible skill check would be unavoidable. For the Survivors, Borrowed Time would always proc in these rooms. Therefore, the Killer would want to avoid hooking people in these rooms. It would be a trade off. Be constantly affected by Terror Radius perks, but also be able to proc things like Borrowed Time, Stake Out, Diversion, etc.

That wasn't my point.
I just don't understand why the mechanic changes from Tier 2 to 3 (which basically means using tier 1 and 2 would be still pointless when you're levelling up a character for example, same was with Kindred 1 and mostly 2 - they wouldn't be that used until tier 3)
I don't see the point of (if it had the same mechanic) keeping it tier 1 and 2.
The mechanic stays the same across all tiers. The only thing that changes is the values.
-
@Milo said:
Okay okay... but why only tier 3?
I didn't want to change the perk's maximum values, and if I did, it would only be to fully counter A Nurse's Calling. I just wanted to change the way you acquire those values. Also, people mainly use the tier 3 version of a perk, with the exception of Discordance, or, in rare cases, Make Your Choice.
-
It would further bridge the gap between Solo Survivors and Survive With Friends.
-
Definitely Surveillance. I love this perk. Everything it does is fantastic.

Yeah I don’t understand why the first skill check you get at the BEGINNING of the game it tells you. Kinda ruins the entire perk. Just don’t tell use until it starts affecting survivors like they do with Devour Hope.
Definitely.
-
I don't know. They should either not tell Survivors that you have it, and have them figure it out, or just not make it a hex perk.
-
@GrootDude said:
Neither, keep in mind that you also give the killer information.
Not if I run Distortion or Sole Survivor.
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
From both options, this one is better, because the Survivor might not know that you have Babysitter. And when the Survivor does not see the Killer at all, they might think you are pointing in a safe direction.
@KillermainBTWm8 said:
It's really hard to tell when someone is using babysitter perk so they may think you're telling them by pointing at the killer that they should go that direction.
Patch 3.3.0 made it so it tells the unhooked Survivor that you have Babysitter.

Pretty even. From that comment I take it you've never made it to high rank. There's a reason why only three, maybe four, killers are viable. No, the points should not be even. Get to at least purple rank, and look at how much work a killer needs to put in to get anywhere near enough points.
Your argument makes zero sense. Why are you arguing against more bloodpoints? They have no impact on gameplay, so why should it be important that certain players get less bloodpoints, only increasing the grind? Adding more bloodpoint gains has no downsides, and would only make people happier. Also, bold of you to assume I've never even made it to purple ranks. Ranking up is not hard. I've done it many times.

Right. . . so the guy having to play against four other players shouldn't be compensated for the amount of work put into that. You do realize there is a perk called Prove Thyself, right? Doubles points earned when working as a team? Helps with that gen rush that's all the rage these days?
The Killer does have to play against 4 other players, but 1 Survivor =/= a Killer. 4 Survivors = a Killer. You're making it sound like all odds are stacked against the Killer in an unfair 4v1, when the game is quite honestly pretty even. Because of this, I think Killers and Survivors should get roughly the same amount of bloodpoints.

Spine Chill is even more useful since it works with Undetectable now :D
That's factual.
-
Maybe Sprint Burst, if I had to pick one. I regularly use almost all of the Survivor perks. I love so many of them.
-
She's really far from dead. She's still the same Nurse you knew, but now you just have to wait a fraction of a second before blinking again. It's barely noticeable. Plus, Spirit, Hillbilly, Plague, Freddy, and Ghost Face all still exist. All very strong killers.
-
@Rydog said:
My survivor experience changed for the better when I learned the value of Spine Chill and Bond. Thanks to PainReliever for showing me the light!
I never would have even thought about using Spine Chill without him. I always used to think it was kind of useless.
-
For Survivor, Premonition (I was a baby). I couldn't play without it for the longest time. I eventually started clapping every Killer I came across, and actually thought that the information that Premonition gave was overpowered, and I took it out of my build to give myself a challenge. I got bored of Killers never being able to sneak up on me. I now realize that Spine Chill is far superior, but I still love Premonition, even today.
For Killer, it's a tough choice between Surveillance, Monitor And Abuse, Save The Best For Last, and Thanatophobia. I just love all of these perks.

Thanks for the thanks! Tomorrow can't come soon enough for all of us I think, it's been an exceptionally busy and stressful few days so I think everyone will be glad when it's out and we can just play the game - I'm looking forward to the Archives so much!
Thank you indeed!

The Survivor to Killer bloodpoint ratio is really unbalanced. On top of that, Killers have a really good perk that also gives them double bloodpoints, while Survivors have to sacrifice a perk slot if they want double bloodpoints, because We're Gonna Live Forever does literally nothing. I'm not saying to reduce the amount of bloodpoints that Killers get, but they should give Survivors more bloodpoints. Also, We're Gonna Live Forever should have a secondary effect that affects gameplay.
-
I think it's fine.
-
I personally love the glass bead. It's really useful for marking things like Hex totems in solo queue.
-
I've wanted this for so long. This would be perfect.
-
Exactly the same.
-
She does not have to guess which side of the generator the Survivor is on at all. All she has to do is collide with them and pull them off. It takes no skill.

@Mochan said:
I've always preferred to verse Nurse over Spirit. Have said this many times. I only have real problems with the really good nurses. The ones that don't miss a blink. Normal nurses or even good nurses I can usually run around for a bit, the normal ones I can even win chases against especially in favorable terrain like Autohaven.
Spirit is a lot harder to give the run around, especially if you don't have Iron Will. It really is a guessing game most of the time. With Iron Will she's a lot more manageable, but I don't always bring Iron Will since I mostly stopped running primarily stealth builds a long time ago. I still play ninja builds every now and then but not often enough to deal with the rash of Spirits.
Iron Will doesn't even matter if the Spirit brings Stridor, like most "good" Spirits do. It still makes you breathe at 50% volume, removing any tiny shred of counterplay you may have had.
-
He never said that he lost to him. He just said he's annoying. I too, personally hate Legion, almost as much as I hate Spirit or Hag. He's extremely weak, but he's just so annoying. He's not even slightly threatening or intimidating. It's literally just a scrawny teenager with a knife. This is all coming from a former Legion main.
-
I don't want it to change. The developers have said that perk color is just an art choice. Early in the game's life, every character had 1 green, 1 purple, and 1 pink perk. When they got rid of brown and pink perks, brown perks became yellow, and pink perks became purple. As a result, characters went from having 1 green, 1 purple, and 1 pink perk to 1 green and 2 purple perks, with a few exceptions (Michael and the Hag only have purple perks). The developers say that it's basically just an artifact of the past, and they do it as an art choice, and as tradition, as a sort of way to pay homage to early DBD.
-
I really like this. I've always thought that the Killer ranking should just be based on how many Survivors are killed. That's it. No matter how it's done.
-
I'm saying for it to have a visual of the perk running out, like Decisive Strike.
-
That would be a very nice and welcome change.
-
I agree.
-
Or you can just use Make Your Choice. It's a built in Decisive Strike timer, and rewards you for chasing the unhooker.
-
Removing the uninjured requirement would be nice, but it's pretty fine.

@phantasmal said:
Where's the both option?
Tracking certainly seems the main use but locking down a regressing or a 99% gen can be really powerful.
I was seeing what people value more.
-
@LordGlint said:
Typically if someone isnt on a gen during that time...theyre not gonna be on that gen in the following few seconds anyway.
I know, but there are a few cases. I personally have gone against Thrilling Tremors, when I have been running to a Generator, only for my teammate to be picked up, and then I have to sit there for 16 seconds.
-
No. The End Game Collapse was just a Killer buff, and 99ing the Exit Gates is the Survivors' only way of countering it. Even if the Gate is at 99%, the End Game Collapse still does its job of forcing the Survivors to adjust, and may even net you a down that you wouldn't normally have gotten, if it comes that close.
-
Finally, somebody else agrees. It's really annoying either spending bloodpoints on a perk, just making it worse, or sitting there with all perks level 3, and a very ugly yellow level 1 Discordance.
-
Killer is way more relaxing for me. I find it easy, I crush all of my Survivors, and you get way more bloodpoints. Plus, you don't have to deal with Prayer Beads Spirit (or just Spirit), Basement Hag (my two most hated Killers), Iridescent Head + Infantry Belt Huntress, or a Mori taking you out of the game in 0.5 seconds, without even Decisive Strike being able to prevent that tunneling. With Killer, you also don't have to rely on your monkey teammates to win the game. You can rely on your skill alone.
-
I like it.
-
No. Leave NOED as is. It's perfectly fine, and has counterplay.
