Hi all. Huntress is not one of my most favoured killers (I know git gud etc) but I am finishing off the trophies and finding grinding for 'Skilled Huntress' a particularly irritating experience. Yeah. Again. DC penalty complaint. I know, it's old, but I have an observation to throw in the mix: People suicide less, when DC penalties are enabled, than they DC when they aren't. It's true. But is it really worth punishing people for errors with the games code? Since theres no natural party chat in this game and crossplay is out im playing now with some of my friends from different platforms. But the problem is my headset can only obviously connect to one thing (if i connect to ps i can't talk or hear on discord and vise versa). Xbox its just impossible. This happens in almost any game from time to time on Switch, but when it's Dead by Daylight... It's disgusting how often you get this and then BOOM! you're booted out of the game, depip, lose your offering, lose your items/add-ons AND you get punished with a DC penalty. Not to mention you probably look like a total jerk to your team for DCing even though it isn't your fault. Am I the only1 comments 31 views last activity

I rarely play killer and played 3 games and yes... 12 escapes :( My problem is scratch marks. I'm colour blind and as soon as a survivor runs away, if they are out of sight I lose them. This has cost me so much and am losing heart playing killer. I bought the game and all DLC and want to enjoy both sides but really getting me down. I’ve been mixing up my builds lately and one of my new favorite perks is tinkerer. Does anyone else use it, which killer does it help you most on, any tricks to use it better? I think the killer who may benefit most is Bubba as if you’re near the gen that goes to 70% you can make it over using LoS blockers and land an easy chainsaw. So if the devs released big packs of cosmetics which were just recolors of cosmetics we already have in game (Example like the bunny feng recolor I made a while back). Hints the word TRY lol. I noticed right away the intentional body blocking, the killer only targeting me while they all worked on gens. I think what upset them most is even trying to intervene and help the killer down my I kept escaping and looping and juking the piggy. This is just a small annoyance to some but a big one to me, as of late we have had two great chapters but they still have two visual flaws mostly survivor side, these two are outdated character rigs with strange anatomy, "how bones and joints move" and unappealing baked in shadows on clothing especially white clothes. I love this game because I love a good challenge. I am not, I repeat, not, the best at this game. But I'm decent. I have learned to be fairly stealthy and be undetected for the first part of the game, unless I try to rescue someone, which I've stopped doing. Hey everyone, I just played a match as Hag and one survivor was able to stand up twice from the dying state although all other survivors were in the dying state/hooked/already dead or chased at those moments. Maybe someone can help me out and tell me what did I miss? She also had a medkit but due to Franklins, she was not able to use it. I'm wondering because I've been putting quite some hours in the game beyond the challenges in level 1 and 2, and I'm only at level 27. In comparison, I reached level 31 with just the challenges in the rift/tome before that. Did they adjust the amount of rift shards earned? 3 back to back matches tonight with disconnecting. The first was a killer match with me as the Doctor, and a survivor disconnects prior to death hook (which kinda defeats the purpose 🤨). The second match was a survivor match, and a teammate disconnected once they saw the killer was Freddy. The third match was another survivor match, but this time TWO teammates disconnected. I would really love brightburn to be in the game, but lore wise what would it look like if he was in the realm? The Entity will create a 24, 30, 36 diameter ring from the completed generator in which the survivors cannot step out of for the next 10, 15, 20 seconds. That way the killer can actually punish the survivors that finished a generator if they make it in time. Imagine seeing the large dark circle all around the area. Usually when I would ask help for stuff in this game it's always run this perk or stop running this. I'm mainly talking about killer btw. So why is it with weaker killers like myers, trapper, wraith etc, the only way to make them viable is running a particular build. I am noticing more crossplayers are CHEATING in game. I can have really good, strong matches and then suddenly out of nowhere. The killer is appearing right behind me and was more than 100-200 FEET away 2 seconds ago. Killers should NOT be allowed to Cross play with another platform PERIOD. If your getting gen rushed the survivors are doing gens without considering other things like generator placement. So camp the 3 generators close to each other. If you don't have 3 generators close to each other you probably weren't gen rushed so work on getting better. Always doing gens or hunting people doing gens is fun for a while. But I feel like this game has potential for some better game types. Perhaps have a game mode where the survivors are looking for the killers weakness to kill them first while they are being hunted.
