Everyone likes a good Nurse player every now and again, but if you destroy the opposition with 5 gens left, is it really that exciting? I do notice that Nurse is probably the only killer I see people suicide on hook against after their first hook. I'm not saying he's the most powerful, but he is cheap. Zombies interfere with you and rat you out. As for the tentacle, I dodge left or right and still get hit. I crouch and use obstacles, and I still get hit. He's hard for me to dodge altogether. Sure he may be fun to play as to some of you but I really hate him. Yesterday, I died plenty of times. Mostly because of the many DCs in my matches causing the ones remaining almost hopeless. Is the DC penalty disabled or something? Have we been receiving the Rift fragments during the event? I've been logging on each day since July 27th and I have been seeing messages for the 50K BP awards but I haven't seen messages for the Rift fragments. Got called a couple of homophobic slurs by someone saying I body blocked them at the exit gate. I DID NOT body block them. I haven't seen anyone complain about the lag that's been happening but just in case, the lag is terrible right now. I keep losing track of my position on the map, even in chase. Was against the Doctor. We were at the last gen and I saw the Kate working on it, and it was at 95%. The Doctor had one of the ultra rare add-ons that had the effect of static cling I believe. So, the Kate had the gen nearly done and as I got close to her, I made her go into tier 3 insanity. You know how miserable it is to want to try and get one gen done but you can't, because you're wasting your time being altruistic against your will? I've been seeing the term "macros" thrown around on the forums sometimes. It's a mechanic where you can tie a specific action to the mouse or keyboard. She's arguably the best killer in the game but I love going against her, even if she's good. But lately when I do face her, she worries me for a moment. She'll chase my teammates for less than a minute and it seems they keep going down to her. I was running Bond, on The Pale Rose, and the Nurse got us down to 3 survivors, 3 gens. SMH, all the other two survivors did was hide!!! Like, help me do a gen! The Nurse wasn't even that good, but holy heck, do something! I was the only one attempting to get a gen done and/or give the killer a chase to get them to do something. 9/10 times when I get this map, the experience is terrible. As survivor, most gens we ever get done is like 1 or 2. Almost always becomes a hatch game on that map. It's just too small with not a whole lot to work with. All Autohaven maps, being a majority green hue, messes with my perception a lot(I know, personal problem). Sometimes you get good teammates that can hold their own and support you, other times you get 3 other teammates that all go down near the basement against the Trickster. I love that he keeps getting massive speed buffs lately. The problem I have with him and that I noticed when I face him, he always wins by a long shot. I've jotted down several matches I've had against him for a few months, and the issue that gets the team killed regardless of skill, is his speed buff coming out of invisibility. It doesn't make sense that Iron Will doesn't counter Stridor and if you're playing against a good or scummy Spirit, you can't beat her. Oh and btw, Spirit players can go eat a [BAD WORD]. I have to have Spine Chill equipped at all times. That extra bit of information has gotten me out of many problems. It helps increase my survival rate just slightly as it isn't that powerful of a perk. The other (3) perk slots are interchangeable to my needs. Ever been spamming 'X' on PS4 while struggling just to get a lag spike that caused you to die instantly? Yeah, it happens to me 1 out of 10 times I'm struggling on hook and it's usually caused by a sudden event that happened during the trial. We've all been there at some point. You start the match ready to work, then all of a sudden, all heck breaks lose. Every other survivor gets injured and goes down one by one. You're the only one trying to get the objective done and make a save if you can. They save each other off the hook and at this point, they're just swapping hooks. Developers... The exit gates often spawn too closely together which will produce a problem if you're the solo survivor. It's just too easy to patrol exit gates that are 60 meters apart from each other, as often times they are. I suggest that the hatch should spawn at least 100 or so meters away from the exit gates. As the title suggests, I've grown to like playing solo when before I would rather play SWF. It takes the pressure off of waiting even longer for killer lobbies than I do now. I really used to hate playing alone, now I kind of enjoy it. I'm a team player and expect the best for the other survivors. Leatherface used to be at the top of the list of killers I hate playing against, now Spirit is at the top. She has the ultimate mind game strategies and her only flaw is that she's a bit slow. He's fun to play as but a pain in the ass to go against, especially since they implemented those new, loud, annoying vfx noises when he makes you scream. I had a match recently where the killer was (somewhat) fair. He kept us on our toes and everything but I still feel like his illusions that reveal your location every so often, is very cheap.
