Sometimes after hooking when I place a Drone (very far away from the hook), the Drone immediately disappears.0 comments 11 views last activity

My mmr should be above the soft cap since I haven't lost in hundreds of games (mmr is only deducted for 0-1k), but I keep getting baby survivors running meme perks. I would say 40% of my matches are against baby survivors. 50% are against average survivors. Very few of my matches are actually challenging.19 comments 431 views last activity

Update: results of the survey are available here https://www.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/18r7rbl/data_on_how_much_survivors_like_and_dislike/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3 With there being complaints about every killer, it's impossible to know which killers survivors actually like and dislike. We need data so we can actually figure this out. Please vote here32 comments 3,872 views last activity

A hatch stand off is a scenario where neither side can progress the game without losing. This scenario still exists, e.g.: the hatch is very far from exit gate and the killer cannot reach it in time after closing hatch. A survivor waiting at the gate for the killer to close hatch is guaranteed an escape the gates are too far from each other to be patrolled, e.g. Lery's and Hawkins. In the PTB feedback, I said Friends 'til the End was worse than BBQ because it only showed 1 survvior when BBQ could show multiple. People said that Friends 'til the End was stronger because it could show a survivor within 40 m and was guaranteed to show a survivor. I said that it was very unlikely for 1 specific survivor to be within 40 m and BBQ had better odds of finding a nearby survivor. Now6 comments 592 views last activity

If all survivors are slugged and no one has recovery perks, why do survivors prefer hiding and bleeding out rather than just going afk so crows appear for the killer to find them? They're dead either way. Letting the killer hook them just saves them time and effort.67 comments 1,373 views last activity

It just wastes time for both sides since the killer can slug to guarantee all survivors die. Say there are 2 survivors left and one is on the hook, the killer can wait until the hooked survivor dies before hooking to skip to 3rd stage. Say all survivors are slugged, the killer can follow 1 slugged survivor, wait until all other survivors bleed out, then hook the survivor they were following to4 comments 161 views last activity

Incapitated is the near equivalent of stunning a survivor. Survivors have multiple ways to "incapitate" a killer, e.g. Blastmine, Head on, and Flashlights. Saying Incapitated shouldn't be in the game is the same is saying stuns and blinds on killers shouldn't be in the game since they are both very similar. Incapitated just got a bed rep from Eruption being overtuned since it allowed 25 second "s15 comments 201 views last activity

No one uses Hex perks because they are far too risky since they can be cleansed extremely quickly. They provide almost no value and leave you with missing perks for the rest of the game. Hex Ruin was really the only Hex perk that was ever popular. Now that Hex Ruin has been nerfed. No one really runs Hex perks anymore and they definitely need a buff. Hex totems should be concealed as Dull totems1 comments 31 views last activity

In the PTB feedback, I said both of these perks were F tier and that no one would use them, and I was right. Hex: Two Can Play: it's far too difficult to get value from the perk. You need to lose 2 chases to activate the perk and get stunned 3 times in total to start getting value from it. Say you get stunned 5 times in total, you only get 3 uses from the perk, which is extremely bad and the sam11 comments 272 views last activity

My killer queues are taking 5+ minutes. Why is everyone so hyped about playing him? Dude just runs fast and can vault pallets and windows. It's basically Wesker but with running instead of dashing.10 comments 241 views last activity

I've been playing Hag for years. I think she is mostly fine as is. She's only unpopular because people dislike set up killers and prefer chasing. To buff her chase, I would just make her 4.6 m/s (no reason she should be 4.4 m/s imo) and increase her trap setting speed.2 comments 41 views last activity

Onryo is on the roadmap and let's be real, they're going to nerf her because her kill rate is too high, especially in low-mid mmr matches. Though, the reason for her high kill rate is because most survivors don't understand her counterplay, which is to hold onto tapes from the start of the match rather than running around inserting them into TVs. Getting hit with a tape only applies 2 Condemn, wh0 comments 41 views last activity

@Mandy said that they were targeting 3 gen because it limited their ability to design killers and perks due to the potential of a 3 gen. If 3 gen is being fixed, can you guys keep your promise of designing stronger killers and regression perks? Plus, we need it since removing 3 gen is a nerf to killers.0 comments 31 views last activity

Survivors can just run around the traps in loops unless you place it in a very tight spot, which is usually only directly at the pallet. The problem with placing it there is that survivors can just drop the pallet making the trap completely useless. This is a major problem because trapper only has 2 traps, so after placing 2 traps, he becomes a M1 killer.1 comments 21 views last activity

This is the most used perk. It's not just a noob info perk. Its usage is extremely high in high mmr matches, to the point where most survivors have it. Stats from a few months ago show it was the most popular perk (all MMR). https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3504400#Comment_3504400 The strength of the perk is being able to av41 comments 834 views last activity

There are 3 reasons: it creates an artificial scenario where you are forced to look in the open and get flashlighted far too many people accidentally open lockers or vault windows instead of picking up, even people with thousands of hours do this survivors can stay right next to the pallet to force the killer to break it instead of picking up There's already a button for dropping survivors.5 comments 111 views last activity

The combo effectively full heals the survivor by giving them 2 extra life states. After hitting one survivor, the one other can tank another hit using their Endurance. The combo almost completely undos a chase that is won. It reminds me of old instant heal syringes but stronger. Depending on the situation you're in, e.g. under a pallet or at risk of a flashlight save, it may be impossible to avo34 comments 511 views last activity

Nemesis needs buffs. He's literally a much worse Alien. My buffs are: increase the range zombies detect noise to 64 m. Zombies are useless most of the time since they are usually in useless parts of the map and have a tiny detection range. A large noise detection range is needed to bring them to useful parts of the map zombies can detect infected survivors without LOS (by smell) zombies have3 comments 71 views last activity

Otz currently has Dredge in C+ tier. He mentioned that the more he plays the killer, the more problems he notices with him (Otz is currently doing winstreaks on Dredge). Based on the issues Otz mentioned, I suggest these changes: The locker teleport should have a lower maximum time and should be faster to let him use it in chase. The time it takes to teleport to a locker far across the map is8 comments 191 views last activity

The only Scourge perk anyone ever runs is Pain Res because it's the only Scourge perk with a strong enough effect to be worth running. Even then, people often pair it with Agitation since Scourge Hooks are too inconsistent. It's safe to say that Scourge perks have mostly been a failure. The 2 major problems with Scourge hooks are: They are too inconsistent. There aren't enough Scourge Hooks. I9 comments 181 views last activity

Singularity has quickly become one of the least played killers, which is bad considering he's the 2nd newest killer. On Nightlight, he's 5th least played killer. Though his real pick rate is probably lower since Nightlight mainly uses stats from PC players. Without any change, Singularity will probably reach Twins levels of obsecurity in the future. The reason no one plays Singularity is that he40 comments 1,051 views last activity

4 Bottles is far too few. You rarely have enough to use the yellow Bottles. With 4 Bottles, you need to be perfect with every Bottle to win chases fast. It's also hard to switch targets because he has too few Bottles to down a 2nd target. The 4 Bottle limitation seems like an outdated design when similar killers have infinite power usage, e.g. Doctor and Cenobite.3 comments 91 views last activity

The anti-camp meter going up provides information to the survivor that the killer is nearby, which is beneficial for determining when stealth killers are nearby. The meter should be invisible to survivors to prevent this. I don't think survivors should get free info just from being on a hook.14 comments 192 views last activity

If a survivor is near the next hook stage, a common strategy is to briefly camp to secure the next stage. I think the anti camp should be disabled for 10 seconds before the next hook stage so this strategy is retained. Other than that, I'm fine with the anti-camp mechanic.6 comments 111 views last activity

I don't want to be playing with all bots. It's a multiplayer game. Playing against bots is so boring. I even think that there should be a limit of 2 bots in a lobby. I was playing against 3 bots and 1 player and it was very boring.10 comments 151 views last activity

It's still just playing as a worse Clown. The powers are very similar except Clown does everything better. The biggest problem is the setup of the trap. It's so slow, they can just leave the loop and you have no power. The addon needs to come with trap setting speed increases.16 comments 293 views last activity

I used to think 2k was a draw but lately I've been seeing it as a loss. The reason for this is that the devs balance the game on a 60% kill rate and a 2k is only 50% of kills, so you're underperforming that match. The recent stats showed that the overall average kill rate was 60% https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/350586/stats-kill-rate-by-killer-and-mmr-september-2022#latest ,46 comments 1,151 views last activity

Blast Mine is one of the most annoying perks to play against. Getting stunned and blinded for 4 seconds is not fun in the slighest. Even if it doesn't win the game, it doesn't matter since people run it to annoy the ######### out of killers. With this change, I see bully squads running 4 Blast Mines and trapping every single generation, making the killer get stunned every time they kick a gen. In22 comments 682 views last activity

The stats are there to prove it. I don't want to see any survivors denying it's a legitimate strategy or toxic now. https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/397139 comments 4,118 views last activity

Playing as Knight feels monotous and brainless. Most of his gameplay is just dropping a Guard at a loop and cornering the survivor. It's the same thing in most loops. It's too boring. I feel like they need to add more decision making to the killer and allowing Knight to manually choose his Guards would achieve this.21 comments 802 views last activity

You are thrilled by the scent of blood and move faster to pursue survivors. While standing within 5m of a pool of blood, gain an additional 1%/2%/3% movement speed. This unironically would be a good buff. I think this would bring it to about the same strength as Brutal Strength.11 comments 401 views last activity

No one runs hex builds anymore because the hexes are high risk low reward. They provide too little value before they get cleansed. Hex totems need a buff in general.2 comments 41 views last activity

Survivors now have a separate slot for killer items, e.g. Lament Configuration, so they can carry 2 items simultaneously. This means that item-based killers no longer counter items since survivors can always carry both. Other nerfs are that Pinhead can no longer use Franklins to make them drop the box. Survivors also usually use a strategy where 1 survivor holds the box hostage while the others w36 comments 1,342 views last activity
