There has been literally nothing done in four years to reduce the grind (other than the archive which isn’t great), and it only gets worse every chapter. A million suggestions such as perk tiers being removed, increased BP from each game, letting people choose what perks to unlock, etc have all been suggested to help the grind. What are they doing? They aren’t even trying out different options,14 comments 211 views last activity

Blight actually has a very cool game mechanic, and has decent interaction in chase. However, I hate going against this killer because literally every Blight uses the same build. Ruin + Undying + Tinkerer + BBQ/Devour rinse and repeat on every Blight. No other killer has such predictable perks when you load into a game with them. I get that against SWF it’s fair game, but against solo survivors,59 comments 1,371 views last activity

I don’t know how this perk isn’t considered to be absolutely top tier, I actually think it’s better than BT, although using both is also great. WMI doesn’t help if the killer is standing at the hook, but it can mess up a killer’s planning completely. Say they leave the hook, but then can’t find anyone and decide to go back. Well, usually the healing would take 16 seconds, so if it took the ki27 comments 401 views last activity

So, a lot of survivors right now are feeling frustrated when they wait forever in the queue, only to spend the whole game on the hook, or with the killer on them 24/7 trying to secure their kill. On the other hand, killers are struggling to apply pressure with four survivors, as currently the game heavily punishes killers for not getting sacrifices. The game needs to encourage and actively rewar44 comments 551 views last activity

I honestly heavily prefer just playing with randoms. Anytime I play with a TTV survivor and go back later to watch the game, they are super toxic, constantly criticising everyone for no apparent reason. The killers might be even worse, as they typically are extremely sweaty. I went against Dowsey playing Nurse once, and safe to say it wasn’t a good time, especially since I was playing in solo q49 comments 1,462 views last activity

Just had a game where two teammates dced near the start after going down, although I wasn’t too mad since it was a dead dawg offering, which yawnnnn. After that, the blight was slugging for the 4k like two minutes in and playing like it was a competitive tournament, when it was literally a 2v1 at 5 gens. I managed to crawl out through the hatch, but I still depipped, which is such a joke. Why a3 comments 51 views last activity

I’m so bored of using this nonsense excuse every time someone is trying to justify playing survivor being easy, or that holding w is toxic. The truth is killers hold w just as much, if not more than survivors. Most killers simply run after survivors, almost never doing any mind game, other than maybe at shack. If survivors are getting enough distance on you to hold w, they’re either playing bad121 comments 2,112 views last activity

The new Halloween movie is being released in October, so it would be the perfect time to have an update heavily focused around it. We desperately need a rework to Laurie’s face, Haddonfield rework, and some buffs for Myers, while removing his bullshit add ons. In addition to this, we could have some new cosmetics for them, maybe even an older Laurie as a legendary cosmetic. Give us an event to19 comments 151 views last activity

Quite frankly, I’m really disappointed with the effort that was put in as a gay person. First off, I think it’s a shame that we STILL don’t have any playable queer characters in the game, and whilst I was happy we got the RE chapter, I think releasing a queer character in pride month would’ve been much better. We got a pride charm, which resulted in a bizarre amount of posts of people worrying62 comments 1,131 views last activity

Nemesis, Twins (I don’t mind them but majority do), Deathslinger, Legion, Spirit, Clown, Freddy, Hag all suck to go against, and most of them are extremely common! I haven’t seen an Oni in weeks, not sure why freaking Legion is more popular than one of the most powerful killers91 comments 1,341 views last activity

Main one for me is Yun-Jin. Her lore was 10x more interesting than the Trickster lore, and made her into easily one of the most complex characters in the game. Her aesthetic is amazing too, and I love how it ties into her lore of using bright colours to stand out in the public eye. The second that comes to mind is Kate. Clown has very boring gameplay, and very basic lore, he’s basically just a c14 comments 221 views last activity

Hi all, Is it just me or are there wayy more disconnects than usual? Anytime someone goes down early they dip, and it’s really frustrating since it often means an auto loss/depip. It’s really disheartening, especially the killers still sweating after the disconnect. You don’t need to farm after a dc, but there’s no reason to play like an #########. It’s funny how during the PTB, most killer mains on here talked about how good it was to have a new decently strong killer after Trickster. But as soon as he’s been released, a huge amount of people on here are saying he’s bottom tier, without even trying to take some time to learn how to play him. It’s honestly hilarious to see the 180 that has happened on here. The speed boost he gives upon co90 comments 1,572 views last activity

I haven’t seen Ash outside of DBD, so I won’t include him. My least favourite license of DBD is Texas Chainsaw Massacre, I am a huge horror fan and absolutely despise almost every aspect of that movie. How about everyone else?77 comments 591 views last activity

As we know, solo queue can be... interesting. There are perks to help compensate for that though. My favourite build to use for solo queue is: Kindred - This helps your team be significantly more efficient, as it’s extremely frustrating when you have multiple teammates coming to rescue, and letting go of gens. It’s even worse when your team assumes someone else will save you, and nobody else d23 comments 121 views last activity

Happy pride all :) I came up with this build that I think best represents the LGBTQ+ players, let me know if you can come up with something better, or for killers! Perks: Head On - It’s a great step to be able to come out the closet, so this fits well for the exhaustion perk. Object of Obsession - As everyone knows, queer people are constantly under scrutiny, even when it’s nobody’s busines4 comments 91 views last activity

This would be a good way to keep everyone happy. My idea is that the devs implement microtransactions for the various dances, that would range from $5 for a common dance to $25 for an ultra rare dance. It would completely change the meta to be able to twerk with Quentin, or do the YMCA with Claudette. This could change completely how survivors play the game. How this would work is as follows: Up45 comments 491 views last activity

This literally is so awful. They’ve been testing it for an eternity at this point, and it’s still terrible. I just had a game with a rank 19 Feng who chose to do a dull totem, before picking me up. This is actual torture. Before that, I went against green rank killers who got like one down the whole game.34 comments 451 views last activity

I love a good debate as much as anyone, but all the drama lately has gotten really boring. I’ll start: I know not everyone agrees, but I love the reworked Coldwind maps. They’re extremely unique, and some of my favourite maps right now. Yun-Jin had some of the best lore BHVR have ever created for a character. I’m not huge on ‘maining’ one character, but she’s the closest to a main I’ve had.26 comments 211 views last activity

Spirit in the current state is not sustainable, and she either needs to be nerfed, or preferably made harder to play and easier to counter, but gives a huge reward for learning, like Nurse. Regardless, there is much more work that needs to be done on buffing the weaker killers. Trapper - Is in desperate need of a brown bag to be base kit. This would do so much in improving his add on variety,7 comments 141 views last activity

Purely because even at red ranks, the people playing them have no idea what they’re doing. I haven’t seen a competent twins player since launch, and the game usually turns into chasing Victor around. I get that they have the potential to be a pain when played right, but I haven’t seen any of these god twins. My escape rate against twins is probably close to 100%, they’re the killer you can consis18 comments 201 views last activity

I made a thread for this the other day for the survivor side, and it was quite fun, so doing it again for the killer side. The Trapper: Unnerving Presence - This perk is showing its age, as it’s really bad. Maybe on an impossible skill check Doctor, it could be okay . Apart from that, it’s not good. It gives extra skill checks, which often results in survivors completing gens faster. Wraith:3 comments 71 views last activity

Dwight: Leader - Not a bad perk, just quite average that doesn’t have many applications that are super beneficial. It’s fine. Meg: Quick and Quiet - Easy choice, since her other two perks are incredible. For a worst perk, this is still great and better than some survivor’s best perk. Claudette: Self-care - Not awful if used well, but botany and empathy are much less selfish perks that will be32 comments 481 views last activity

Solo survivor is the weakest group of players right now (killers and obviously SWF are stronger). Why are they gatekeeping knowledge that SWF get for free, as this results in multiple survivors getting off gens, which is fantastic for the killer. It would make playing solo survivor way less clunky, and wouldn’t be too impactful to killers. Imo, this basic knowledge shouldn’t be locked behind a pe29 comments 361 views last activity

Just some small points: This is based off my experience in red one lately, not considering competitive at all. I factored in their base power, as well as add ons. I think Spirit and Nurse are essentially a tier above Hag + Blight, but it would just be a waste of space to create another tier. Might be controversial to have Ghost Face and Billy so low,17 comments 471 views last activity

A decent amount of killers and survivors have had lore in the tome, but there are still some who are waiting. But who should get lore the first? Original survivors without a tome: Jake Park, Feng Min, Adam Francis, Jeff Johansen, Zarina Kassir, Felix Richter, Élodie Rakoto, and Yun-Jin Lee. Original killers without a tome: Clown, Ghost Face (kinda?), Oni, Deathslinger, Twins and Trickster. H17 comments 141 views last activity

For a long time, I’ve been a Sprint Burst/Dead Hard truther, I’ve been loving using Balanced Landing lately. First off, I’ll start off with the downsides to this perk. It lost the passive stagger reduction a while ago, which of course hurt it. There’s also a couple maps, such as shelter woods where you can only use it at shack which sucks. I can’t deny these drawbacks, but outside of this, ba12 comments 111 views last activity

Credit to Pixel Bush for this idea, but he’s the only one of the original four not to get tome lore so far. Yes, it’s true that he isn’t as popular as the other three, and often gets shafted, but it’s been so long since they received their tome lore that it’s interesting. We know they’ve been planning to have a LGBTQ+ character for a while, and Jake would be a great choice imo.44 comments 471 views last activity

Partial sarcasm, but it’s actually a pretty great perk against Nemesis. Just bonk the zombies with a pallet, and instantly pick it back up.6 comments 91 views last activity

I’d remove: Jane - Everyone who mains her seems to be absolutely garbage at the game. I’ve had countless of them refuse to heal me for zero reason. They all also seem to camp pallets and still get hit anyway. They’re typically the worst players, in my experience anyway. Ash - Never seen any of the Evil Dead series, so I have zero attachment. I also despise that he talks in the waiting lobby, it48 comments 351 views last activity

As Pixel Bush put it, it’s almost certainly Nemesis, or Jack Baker. Mr X and Lady D would also be very profitable for them, but Nemesis would be a lot easier to make a power for than X, and Lady D probably would’ve been the choice if the dlc was in like a year. They plan them ahead, so I highly doubt they risk making a dlc about a killer that wasn’t even released. I’m leaning towards Nemesis ri9 comments 121 views last activity

I’m wondering if they planned to have a different power originally, where they actually utilised the different members of the legion in the power, then scrapped it when it became too complicated. Their power is literally just getting to run slightly faster and making survivors stand still mending. It’s not like they spent all their energy on making the best Survivor ever, since they came with9 comments 121 views last activity

I’d rather have Wraith than Spirit or Legion, but since his rework, he has plummeted in terms of fun factor for me. Don’t get me wrong, Wraith absolutely needed a buff, and it’s sad how weak he’s been for so long. This isn’t about strength, as there’s at least 10 killers stronger than him, and most are enjoyable to play against. His style of play is just extremely frustrating as a survivor. For me, it is easily the game where No0b3 was in a chase with a Pig for like 20 minutes. Two players dced early, and he was left with a Claudette who was playing extremely immersed. He looped the Pig around the map like half a dozen times, and it was just in general hilarious. Of course, noob gave great commentary as usual. Here is the game for anyone interested: https://youtu.be/16 comments 151 views last activity

A lot of people saw the iri head and exhaustion hatchets nerfs coming, but there are several add ons that I don’t think will last forever. The first that comes to mind are Myers’ tombstone add ons. Myers badly needs a rework, and this would be the perfect time to totally get rid of them. Being able to kill survivors in your first chase with them is completely silly, and feels very out of place8 comments 91 views last activity

I get that there could be licensing issues at play here, but her face and especially her hair look awful. The voice acting for her was actually spot on, it’s just a shame she looks terrible. With the upcoming Halloween sequel coming, it would be a great time for them to update her look, and give her and Myers new cosmetics. Also, pls change Sole Survivor, it keeps appearing in my blood webs, alo4 comments 81 views last activity

I think we can narrow it down to a couple of options. Billy - His add ons went from being some of the strongest in the game, to being mostly worthless. LoPro chains are one of the few fun/decent ones he has. Freddy - Same as Billy, Freddy has had quite a fall. Losing his slowdown add ons leave him with not many options. I guess the best are the add ons that put survivors to sleep at the start,44 comments 421 views last activity

Whilst Spine Chill is highly regarded, I rarely see anyone consider it the ‘best’ perk. Until recently, I’d say DS was the strongest perk, and then unbreakable was second for how powerful that combo was. However, with the DS nerf, I think it has knocked both of these perks down slightly. This leaves me with the question, which perk is now in the number one spot? I would not fault anyone for sayin28 comments 392 views last activity

I agree that rank absolutely does not mean skill, but after being dropped from rank 2 to 9, my team are literally never saving me and so I hardly get a chance to play after waiting 10 minutes in the queue. This is so awful, don’t understand how people say lower ranks are better, every game I’ve had since the reset has been sitting on the hook or looping a genuine green rank killer for 5 gens. Hillbilly, Nurse, Huntress, Demo, and Oni are generally the killers I have the most fun with. They usually have reasonable counters that allow for a good back and forth between the two sides, or are very balanced in the case of Demo. Least enjoyable of course is Spirit. What does everyone else think, most fun killers?80 comments 931 views last activity
