  • Tokens are only gained if Charlotte is the required distance away from the hook, not Victor. This means you can use Victor as baby monitor at hooks and not only force survivors to either get downed or injured when going for an unhook, but also get tokens for Devour Hope. It amazes me that the devs have made this killer into quite possibly the best camper in the game despite their statements tha

  • Legion is an objectively bad killer. And I mean that in more ways than just their power being bad. They have no identity, or at least a very weak one in comparison to most of the other killers. Allow me to explain what I mean by this. Wraith is the only killer can go invisible, ( it's more go transparent but for the sake of argument let's say he has true invisibility ) and when he does so he rin

  • Victor is the actual killer. Charlotte is just a chauffeur to get Victor into situations in which he can do most of the work. She has no abilities of her own and operates entirely separate from Victor. I think that there's a number of changes that can be implanted to make the Twin's better focused on cooperation between the two of them and to make them a better killer as a whole. Here are my reco

  • Despite being unnecessarily nerfed from the ptb for no reason, I've managed to find a niche use for this perk. On killers that almost never rely on an M1 hit to down someone, such as Huntress, Billy, Bubba and Blight, it becomes a good way to force yourself to get good with their powers. I've found it strangely rewarding when I finish a game and find out that I didn't use a single token. The p

  • (Just for clarification it's completely unusable. The ski lift is blocking me from using the hook.) My theory is that all Legion members were riding this lift one night, (not that it can ever be day anyway) and Frank started to shake the lift like rebellious, stupid teenagers do. Julie found this funny and dared him to keep shaking it. Frank, never one

  • Dear god what a state they're in. They are by far the most buggy, unpolished, mechanically clunky killer ever released. For the sake of brevity I'm not going to go over any of their perks and focus on their power. First off, Victor is terrible against healthy survivors. The 45 second wait until you can recall him means that any decent player will simply kidnap him like in the ptb, depriving you

  • There's not an awful lot of good in them. Here's the first change The Twins Made the map-wide sound when Victor is released clearer. After being attached to a Survivor for 45 seconds, Charlotte will see Victor’s aura and be able to recall him. Sometimes a Survivor would keep Victor on their back to prevent the Killer from using their power. This way, there is a great risk to doing so and

  • The ability, or passive, to climb over stuff. Or at the very least be able to jump. There's so much map terrain that the killer could honestly just step over if they wanted to but don't because of game balance. Hopefully this a killer that is made to finally go over those chest-high obstacles around loops. A mori that has gore, similar to the Hag. I'm still not sure why this MA+ rated horror ga

  • Seeing a whirring chainsaw bounce of a collection of leaves and sticks is funny at first. But is very frustrating during a chase around the dreaded fences of Haddonfield. The same thing happens with the bamboo stalks of the Yamaoka Estate. Knives, cleavers and even claws from inter-dimensional horrors glance off like they were made of adamantium. The power fantasy of playing as killer is hard t

  • Because this event really couldn't get any more disappointing could it? For those who don't know, Play With Your Food is an obsession perk that gives you a token every time you lose a chase with your obsession. Each token gives you 5% movement speed and you can have up to 3 tokens at once. Previously you lost a token when performing a rather ambiguously worded "offensive action" . The game sel

  • The short version He kicks ass and is tremendously fun to play. The long version The Blight easily has one of the highest skill ceilings in the game. I'd argue that Nurse is a bit higher, but not by much. His power requires acute memory of all tilesets in the game, familiarity with your mouse DPI, and good reflexes. This makes learning him quite a task. But my god if it isn't fun once you d

Coarse Stone - You see the trajectory of hatchets before throwing them. This add-on is perfect for players who are just learning Huntress and can be useful for experienced players for learning what objects they can and cannot throw past. Berus Toxin *UNC

  • Since the latest patch, for a brief moment after someone is shot they continue moving forward in the direction they were running. This allows certain shots that would have resulted in a hit in the previous patch now allowing the survivor to break free because of the extra leniency they are given. Considering the state that the rest of the game is in, Deathslinger did really not need a nerf.

The most common point brought up when discussing how her power is unfair to go against is how survivors are given very little information when a Spirit starts phasing and have to rely on luck to avoid a hit. • PC A second survivor permanently has the obsession tendrils around their name, moving around as if getting chased. Step 1: Killer picks up a survivor who has Decisive Strike active Step 2: A second survivor with a flash light prepares to blind the killer Step 3: The survivor picked up succeeds their D-strike and escapes the killer's grasp, running away in the killer's FOV so a chase starts.

  • I just had a lovely game where I ran into a swf who knowingly sent me to a certain map so they could exploit a game breaking bug in which the survivors couldn't be hurt by the killer in any way. Amazingly, they still lost. Because of course the people who are sadistic enough to abuse an invincibility bug are also too dumb to win the game despite using it. Why people would want to use a bug like

A writhing mass of tentacles and organs that took 1 of 3 different forms as the trial progressed. It heavily reminded me of The Thing with how it acted. Their first form appeared to be a normal person wearing a yellow sweater that slowly walked towards yo

  • Why are they not affected when they are shocked by Doctor or shot by Deathslinger? The latter is particularly confusing. You can shoot someone the moment they start vaulting and they will go through the entire vault animation with a harpoon stuck in their back, (that magically teleports to their front somehow) , and only after they are done vaulting will they suddenly be affected by the backwar

But after the Pig no more splinters have been added. In fact they've been disabled as a whole. Giving new players a chance to try out new killers is a great way to peak player interest and let them buy a killer that they know they w

Here's a list of them so far: This Is Not Happening Technician Autodidact Stake Out Gear Head Hex: Huntress Lullaby Unnerving Presence Overcharge All of these perks either partly, or entirely reliant on the generation and the success/failure of skillchecks. This makes them wildly inconsistent on how effective they are. The kill

  • For me it's Oni with Huntress a close second. Nothing feels quite as good as have 5 Fire Up stacks with Brutal Strength and seeing Oni punch the ######### out of a door. Although completely redundant since his power can destroy walls instantly, I still enjoy seeing the animation of it.

  • Yes. You did read that title correctly. Before the latest patch throwing bottles did not remove stacks of PWYF. Now they do. Because with gen times at an all time low, moris and keys still in the game, almost all perks being bad, most maps being either decent or terrible, and survivors randomly making no sounds whatsoever, Clown clearly needed to be nerfed. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going t

  • "We’re specifically monitoring the experience of new players to ensure the system doesn’t immediately throw them games where they are hopelessly outmatched, and we have a few techniques that we’re implementing already to help with this. Lots of technical / mathematic details, but the basic effect will be that new players tend to get matched at a lower skill rating while they’re still new." - Pat

  • I will be excluding all of the meta nonsense, (NOED, PGTW), since that deserves its own post. Unnerving Presence - Survivors in your terror radius have their skill check trigger chance increased by 10% and skill check size reduced by 60%. This perk is great against survivors that can't hit skillchecks. If they can, you are actively helping them. So in pretty much all games this perk will o

  • I'm not including any of the meta nonsense, (Adren, DS, ect), since they deserve a post of their own. Calm Spirit - Stops you from alerting crows and screaming from killer perks and powers. The former effect is highly situational since crows are only useful to the killer if you aren't on an indoor map, are within eyeshot of the killer and they are experienced enough to track you. • It's been happening for a while, but people leaving mid-game seem to be more common after this patch. Especially if they go down early on. This completely ruins the game for their team mates and the killer. Why has the penalty for disconnecting been removed when the problem is this rampant?

  • For those who don't know, Beast of Prey is a Huntress perk that gives you a modest 50% bloodpoint boost to the hunter category and gives you the undetectable status effect while you have bloodlust. It's not a very good perk to say the least. But after years of super intense study I have finally found a build that makes it useful! Somewhat. On a single killer. Using a specific add-on. W

  • Survivor actions do not have any startup animations before progress is made. What I mean by this is a survivor can 99.9% a gen, gate or injured survivor and complete the action without any animation, making it seem like the survivor has psychokinetic powers. This looks extremely janky and has been in the game since its launch. To fix this problem I suggest having a brief period of time, only ha

  • And why are some actually informative? Breakout, for example, increases your speed by 7%. Rather than "Moderately increases your speed". Same thing with Hope, NOED and PWYF. But then we have stuff like Deathslinger's add-ons that "Slightly increases reload speed". It's vague. And I think all perk values should actually be shown rather than alluded to with adjectives.
