  • For every unique Survivor that is unhooked when you are at least 24 meters from the hook, speed up Hook Progression on hooked Survivors (both phase 1 and phase 2) by 2/3/4%. So, basically, speed up hook progression by 8/12/16% max. This cannot stack with Monstrous Shrine . Why this perk? I wanted to make another perk that encourages Killers to leave a hooked Survivor, and getting a stacki

  • Change it to immunity from a hit, remove the lunge, extend the i-frames by a second or so. Now Killers 'hit' the Survivor and get the whole weapon hit slowdown. That is all. No DH for distance. Just DH to absorb a hit & make distance via Killer slowdown. The Survivors don't get the 'I got hit' speedup. Or, if that is too nerfed; they get a reduced (either the speed or the duration) version

  • Yeah, I suck with perk names :P When you start healing an Injured Survivor, you can press the Activate button. After you do, for the next 20/40/60 seconds, you see the Survivor's aura and any hit that would put them in the Dying State is given to you instead. You will suffer all the effects of the hit (anything add-on related, like blind, hindered, etc. Plus scream). The hit Survivor still g

  • Back on May 8th, I went to get Adept Shape, on Coldwind. Steamrolled the first 2 Survivors, slugged the 3rd. COULD NOT find the 4th. They got the 3rd up. 3rd hid, slugged the 4th. COULD NOT find the 3rd. 3rd got 4th up, slugged the 3rd, COULD NOT...You get the idea. The match went on for 35 agonizing minutes. But I was committed, you know? Once it passed 15 minutes, I was in for the long h

  • It's simple, and it's in two parts. If a Survivor DCs to make the Hatch appear or open; the Hatch will not appear, or open (if it has already appeared). DCing is not a Kill or an Exit, and thus should not be treated like the Survivor was Killed or Exited the match. If The Survivor or Killer is within <x> meters of the Hatch; it will not appear, or open (if it has already appeared). They

  • It drives me nuts when people claim 'SWF does not do much!' That claim is actively ignoring the fact that this game is built around Survivors lacking information: Not knowing who the Killer is at first (Not knowing to avoid Trapper's traps until you see him. This stops happening in a SWF group; one person sees Trapper, everyone knows to watch their feet.) Totems. In a non-SWF; one person

  • Just because I kind of like the idea, and I have heard many Survivor friends hate the perk, or meme on it. For every <x> time spent healing others, it gains a charge. (Something like, every 10 seconds). Alternatively: for every Great skillcheck hit healing others; it gains a charge. It starts with 1/2/3 charges. It can hold 4/8/10 charges in total. When healing yourself, and you hit

  • Since DCers ruin the game for everyone, how's this fix: When a Survivor DCs; the generator with the MOST progress is completed. This will not happen if a gen is completed before someone DCs. This both lowers the chance of a snowball effect (Where a gen auto-completes & then Survivors pop a gen a few seconds later) And prevents SWFs from abusing the mechanic to grant a free gen mid- o

  • Careful Placement starts with 1/2/2 charges. It can hold 2/3/4 charges. Using it to quietly place a pallet consumes a charge. Normally dropping pallets gives a charge. You Slow Vault pallets 2% faster. When crouching and not moving, pressing to drop a pallet carefully & quietly lowers it into the Dropped position without a noise notification and only a very faint sound. This consumes a cha

  • Someone who has two people in them (Not like The Legion). Just, throughout the match, Survivors and the Killer will hear this girl speaking in a gentle voice, apologizing when she hits someone or hooks someone. Telling them to 'run away!' because she does not want to hurt them (tone of voice matters, for that line) ...And another times is a deep demonic voice; very bassy, reveling in their pain

  • It is, 5 years in, very grindy and RNG based, which can be insanely painful. Why not make it some sort of shop at The Watcher? Where you can just buy the perks you want, and the addons you want? Maybe make the rarer addons have a cooldown to buy them? So common & uncommon and Rare can be bought any time, but the ultra rares can only be bought once every <x> hours, to prevent Survivors

  • I was playing as DemoG against a console group (just all console; I don't know if they were in a party. Though one had an event toolbox and one had an event flashlight and was SUPER altruistic, so maybe a SWF?) I basically hooked everyone once, and let them do gens, and watched them open the exit gate. Then, I saw the crown; one person in their group was not sparkling (and one already had the c

  • If folks don't know: Lordi is a Finnish hard rock/heavy metal band, and the band members dress up as monsters. They were featured at the monsters in a rather good indy horror movie 'Dark Floors'. I think the lead singer 'Mr Lordi' would make a rather epic Killer in DBD. And his terror Radius could either be 'Hard Rock Hallelujah' or 'Blood Red Sandman'. I will link those songs below. Bloo

  • Like, Moris get turned into jokes as fast as possible, but Keys? Heaven forbid anything counter keys. Imagine if Killer's had an Offering that let them insta-kill 1-3 Survivors with no animation, if <x> generators were completed with 0 Kills. Like, they just had to run to some random spot on the map and interact with something, and they get free kills. Survivors would riot (and rightly so

  • A small rant here! Bring your dried meats; there's enough salt to preserve them! I 2-hit the BT Survivor who tried to bodyblock me? I'm a filthy tunneler. You gave me the first hit for free. Why would I walk away now? I avoid picking up the Nea with D. Strike? I'm a <bad word to the max> slugger. I attack someone waiting to unhook the Jake I just hooked 0.35 seconds ago? I'm a <oh

  • Hex: <Name Here> (I don't have a name :P ) Whenever a Survivor finishes cleansing a Totem, they shout and suffer from Exposed for 20/25/30 seconds. If it is this totem, the duration doubles. My first thought was 'If it is a Lit Totem, the Duration doubles' or 'If it is a Lit Totem, everyone is Exposed' but I felt those could be too OP. Basically, it's a Hex to pair with other Hex perk

  • Because her power actively works against itself! She's better off as a lame M1 Killer. She either has to continue chasing ONE Survivor, vomiting on them as much as possible (nearly impossible when there are millions of projectile-breaking objects everywhere) so they hit Broken, then hit them. (Which can be done QUICKER by just hitting them twice.) So she has to commit to chases longer than n

  • (Note; this is a proof of concept. All numbers are subject to change, if they are listed at all) My idea would be thus: Survivors have to pick up parts nearby. The parts are always around 8-10 meters away (Maybe less; I can't really visualize a meter in game). Basically, there's a slight danger of being seen grabbing parts. But they are always close enough that it's not a mile-long hike. Thi

  • The Morphling is tall and skinny, with too-long arms and too-long fingers. He has a featureless face and grey skin. His power: When you pick The Morphling, you pick 1 power out of every Killer to use. The Morphling uses that power for the entire match. He also get's the Killer's movement speed, to avoid being OP. His stance changes a bit to show off which power he's using, but it's subtle,

  • Camping: Ensuring the person on the hook dies. Which is our goal as a Killer. This frequently also draws in OTHER prey who want to save them, thus making our job easier because we don't need to hunt for our food. Tunneling: Going after wounded prey. Why would a predator waste more time & energy chasing someone healthy for 70 seconds if they can down a wounded person in 30 seconds

  • Hear me out! Killers TACTICALLY camp because of time pressure. This is a fact. If we can remove 1 player, the Survivor's efficiency goes down by 25%. Sometimes MORE, since there's always at least someone going for the unhook. We just feel that time crunch at the start of the match. And I've seen a gen pop in 20 seconds before. And we all know kicking is absolutely garbage & useless unless y

  • It takes Killer's 2 seconds to kick a generator & start it regressing. It takes Survivors 1 frame of animation, which can be done mid-chase, to stop the regression. That's 1/60th of a second (since the game runs at 60 frames per second). Look at that discrepancy; 2 Seconds for the Killer to regress. 1/60th of a second for Survivors to STOP the regression. 120 frames to regress, 1 frame to s

  • It's abusing a bug to grief & try to avoid being hooked. I've had 3 Breakdown squads in a row. Maybe, if we do it enough, the devs will do something about them. Or at least disable the perk until they can be bothered to fix it.

  • Just had a match as Doctor, running THREE PERKS (Only level 13) and nothing toxic. The Survivors decided that, since they don't like Doc, they were going to farm. I was not farming. So I had an unfun match where I had Survivors exploding gens to get my attention, unhooking in front of me, and healing in front of me. Then they got offended in end game chat when I did not farm with them, and pr

  • He is massively outdated. Here's how I would fix him. He starts carrying all his traps. But he cannot pick up any he places until he's under his carry limit (as determined by add-ons) He can now lob a trap between 2-10 yards away. But it takes 5 seconds for it to arm after landing. (To prevent this from being used by throwing it ahead of a running Survivor. It's only to keep him from slowing d

  • Prevent his stacks from decaying When he drops a Survivor 1 health state with his power, all stacks on other Survivors clear. His ult does not decay over time when not used This would allow him to spread out the knives, but he has to pick someone to injure/down with his power. Also; his ult decays way too fast when not used. I always get it when a Survivor is 2 hits from being downed any

  • Say what you will about The Trickster's balance; that intro was really well done. I usually skip the intro after a day or two, but I kept watching it. Can we let the folks who did it do more? :)

  • Ya'll Survivors whine and snivel about camping and slugging, but when you have Unbreakable & go down near a hook, you'll crawl BEHIND the hook, where I can't pick you up. You will abuse shoddy level design to prevent me from picking you up, because you have a perk to get up on your own. That's borderline cheating. No, wait, is IS cheating! I'll report every single person who does this. This

  • After you cleanse a totem, Juke Them activates. While active & sprinting, you can look in a direction and press the Interact button. You leave scratch marks going in that direction as if you had sprinted that way for 4 seconds. You also leave no scratch marks for 2/3/4 seconds. Juke Them can only be used once a match. The idea behind it: Basically, a quick player, using LoS blockers, c

  • By which I mean 'Leaving all 4 to bleed out'. I'm well aware there are times and places for slugging, but it's almost never slugging EVERYONE and never picking people up. I am also a Killer main; I have not played Survivor in 2 years because I dislike the struggle mechanic. Hooray for the upcoming change! :) Anyways, my idea: The more people that are slugged, the faster the 'get up' bar ch

  • It did not help that I was facing a 4-man SWF using all meta perks & flashlights, and they burned to go to Lampkin Lane, but my first match as The Blight saw me sliding off 90% of the objects I tried to bump into. That car? Slide off. That railing? Slide off. That tree? Whoops! Someone put oil on it! Slide off. The trash can? Nope! Slide off. The sliding, plus a depip squad, really just

  • So I just bought The Blight, and I want to try him, but I'm Rank 15-ish, and already have seen Ranks 4 through 8 in my lobbies... So I kind of DO NOT want to play him, because I'll be using 1 perks and 0 add-ons against better ranks using 4 purples and a pink map/toolkit/medkit. This system just does not lend itself well to playing new Killers or lower-leveled Killers...

  • I only have a concept for the Killer as a whole, not their perks or backstory. They are a cruel spirit that possesses mannequins scattered across the map. Much like Freddy's generator-teleport, an arrow appears above the mannequin he will teleport too. When possessing a mannequin, the mannequin's eyes glow. When not moving, The Possessed's terror radius slowly shrinks to 50% it's value, and

  • Survivors have found a way to tap into the power of the totems! They can't light them, themselves, but they can siphon power off ones lit for the Killers! Basically; give Survivors some Hex perks. These are tied to the same lit totems a Killer would have, so if Survivors cleanse that lit totem, they are cleansing their own perk along with the Killer's! (I'm torn between just letting totems li

  • I was playing Clown last night (I'm a bad clown). I had1 dead and 1 exit gate was opened, and I managed to hook another Survivor 5 feet from the open gate Through guts, quick thinking, and a flashlight, the Survivors unhook her, but trade a different Survivor in her place. The Survivors leave, because they are now both injured. The one PC Survivor (the other 3 were console and could not use end
