Lightweight Your running is light and soft, making your tracks harder to follow. Scratch Marks stay visible 1/2/3 seconds less than normal. The noises caused by your footsteps when running and their hearing distances are reduced by 30/40/50%.10 comments 111 views last activity

Vigil: You keep watch over your friends even in dire situations. The auras of Survivors suffering from the Exhausted, Hindered, Blindess, Mangled, Hemmorhage, Broken, or Exposed status effects are revealed in white to you within 32/64/infinite metres of range. You and all Survivors within 8 metres recover from these effects 10/15/20% faster. Mangled and Hemmorhage status effects t15 comments 142 views last activity

Even though I’m not a game designer, I’ve had this idea of a DBD-like game in my head for a while. I want to make it like DBD but more fleshed out and actually balanced. It’ll obviously never come to light since I’ll most likely never even come close to designing or developing a video game, but I figured it’d be fun to share my mental concept with the DBD community. In your opinion, who has the best and worst voice actors of all the Survivors? Which ones sound the most realistic to you, and which ones sound the least realistic? My personal favorites are Meg and Jake, especially Jake. I know people like to give Jake ######### and say he has the whiniest voice, but if you take away the game and just listen to the sounds themselves... Jesus, man. A simple question that I’ve been pondering for a while. Out of all the new Perks that have been added to the game since there were only 4 Survs and 3 Killers, how many of those perks are not unique to a character? Off the top of my head, the only ones I can think of are Hex: Thrill of the Hunt and Kindred, but I feel certain there’s more. I just don’t know them.0 comments 31 views last activity

These two Killers have lullabies that aren’t considered Terror Radii, and thusly aren’t affected by Perks/adding that change said Radii.. Since the devs seem to be fond of revamping Killer addons as of late, I figured some addons for both of these Killers that change their lullaby would be in order. I feel that both Fredward and Cyka Blyat should get their own line of addons, one for each rari2 comments 31 views last activity

On both ends. As a Survivor, when a Killer is near, the loud music can be godawful and cause misconceptions in what the Killer is able to hear, as well as obscure your ability to hear them (except for the Spirit because dear GOD she is loud.) As a Killer, it can very easily cause you to lose track of a Survivor when your eyes fail you. I honestly feel that ears are more important that eyes in DB39 comments 1,411 views last activity

There's this one YouTuber I watch: The Dark Somnium. He narrates r/nosleep horror stories and creepypastas (good ones don't worry) and even better, he makes his own soundtracks for them. Well, he has this one soundtrack called "Melancholy Nights" that just... He calls it "Silent Hill style" music. I've never played SH so I can't judge but even if this is the case, for me it just SCREAMS Dead B9 comments 41 views last activity

So, think about the Huntress. She is a Russian woman named Anna, known for throwing hatchets with the precision of a trained sniper. She murders every human she finds, including a squad of German soldiers, except for little girls, whom she has a very soft spot for and attempts to lure them to her home with her rabbit mask. Oh, also everyone wants to bone her. Now, let's take the action/s3 comments 71 views last activity

People suggest changes and tweaks to Perks all the time. But I feel there are a lot of Perks that need to be not merely buffed, but given entirely new changes. Some considerable, others a notch below a rework, others entirely reworked. Here are some ideas. Prove Thyself You strive to prove your worth to others. For every other Survivor standing in an 8-meter range gain a token. 1 token:27 comments 221 views last activity

So, even with the healing nerf, slugging was harshly nerfed with the latest PTB patch. Partly because of the sabo buff, but mostly because of the recovery buff that the healing nerf doesn’t balance out. But somehow, even though they NERFED slugging, and nerfed it fairly heavily, No Mither, a Perk with permanent slug counter, is somehow worse at countering slugging than it was before—which was2 comments 101 views last activity

People often comment about a particular break in reality involving the Clown: the fact that he, a morbidly obese middle-aged man in a stifling suit who literally cannot breathe regularly, can power-walk faster than Meg Thomas, a star student track athlete, can run. Now, I would like to combat this by saying: He eats their fingers. The Survs are literally food for him. You ever seen a fat basta12 comments 111 views last activity

So, my friends and I had a discussion about how very few of DBD's Perks actually "ecourage" or "reward" certain playstyles. For example, David's Perks talk about rewarding high-risk play, but the truth is, they absolutely do not. They either don't involve risky play at all (WGLF, Dead Hard), or force it upon you with no compensation. "Altruistic" Perks don't actually reward you for helping13 comments 481 views last activity

I’m going to be honest: Rancor is not a good Perk. It’s a very bad Perk. In exchange for one Survivor getting a mini Dark Sense, you get to kill them with NOED during the endgame—assuming you even catch them by that point. It’s a low-reward Perk that forces you to have a really stupid playstyle to get the satisfaction of mori-ing the Obsession—completely ignore them before the endgame, then mega-25 comments 361 views last activity

Me personally, I’m excited for Adam’s two Perks Deliverance and Diversion. Delliverance is kinda meh in my opinion, but because I’m an Altruist who runs a No Mither build (NM, Resi, We’ll Make It, wild card), Deliverance will synergyze hella well with it. And Diversion (AKA Decisive Rock) is great because holy bonkhonagahoogs, a Survivor Perk that’s powerful not because it’s horribly design24 comments 411 views last activity

There are two main factors that makes Freddy so weak. The first is the dream transition. It's already bad enough that Freddy is an M1 Killer, but to make things even worse, he's an M1 Killer who has to initiate a 7-second waiting period after finding a Survivor in order to be able to hurt them. 7 seconds is ample time for a Survivor to finish what they were doing, run away, get woken up, or a64 comments 812 views last activity

I have a bit of an issue with Borrowed Time in its current state. The way it’s designed right now, it’s a lot like We’re Gonna Live Forever: It’s designed to be an altruistic Perk, but at the moment it’s used almost exclusively to be rewarded for farming rather than punished. It’s only truly useful if you u hook next to an open exit gate, for in any other circumstance the Killer can just funnel t10 comments 131 views last activity

People often say that Fire Up would be a lot better if the numbers were buffed. But considering the things it buffs are only a small variety and handled much better by Perks like Bamboozle and Brutal Strength, I think something else should be done. My proposed buff is: 1 Token: 9/10/11% increased action speed, 1/2/3% increased lunge range, 1/2/3% faster Bloodlust gain 2 Tokens: 12/13/14% a2 comments 81 views last activity

I shouldn’t have to say this but this is a joke. Do not take any of this facetious thread seriously. Jake: ######### edgy. Laurie: Thinks Killers take no skill and should be nerfed. Some Killers are less mobile than others. Sometimes, this can be a big issue. A great example is the Huntress: she is the only non-115 Killer whose power doesn’t grant them extra mobility. Hag can teleport, Nurse can move in huge bursts, the Doctor can enter normal speed, and the Spirit has phasewalk (though I’d like to touch upon that). This is a large problem for her as she’s just permanently s0 comments 41 views last activity

And I am. But I am a slightly less terrible Killer now. Ive never gotten past rank 11 before, let alone with Nurse. It’s done, boys. I’m no longer the worst Nurse. I’m a possibly average Nurse who may or may not en decent at the game.13 comments 281 views last activity

Since the devs mentioned wanting to give more pink addons to every killer, I got the idea to mkae a few of my own, including some non-pink ones. So, the stage is set. The rank reset has happened a couple days ago, and I’m currently at rank 15. Still trying to challenge myself to get to rank 1 with a Solo Q No Mither build. Feeling extra pumped because I hit a new high Surv rank score last season. I get into a game. It’s Blood Lodge. This is idea of mine I like to call “Primer Perks”. These Perks have small general effects but, more importantly, have great effects on other Perks, allowing users to strengthen certain builds even further. Take a look and tell me what you think. We’re Gonna Live Forever: Gives you bonus Bloodpoints for risking your life for and/or farming a fellow Survivor, one of which is going to get you boned before you can utilize the Bloodpoint bonuses and the other of which encourages expending others for personal gain—the exact opposite of the Perk’s design and intentions. DBD has a lot of RNG to it. What the time that the RNG gods just absolutely smited you? For me, it happened just today. I think some of these Perks should be changed entirely. But if they aren’t going to be, then at the very least, they are in desperate need of some buffed numbers. Thanatophobia. Its maximum effect possible with 4 injured Survs on Tier 3 is a 15% penalty to repair, heal, and sabotage. Most toolboxes increase repair speed by 15% but Engineer’s goes as high as 25%.
