I was in a game and playing as you normally would and this error message popped up ''EAC has detected that game files have been modified'' or something along though lines and then it shut down my game instantly and had me leave my team behind in the match. First off thanks to anyone who helps out with my query 😚 I recently got a new GPU (RTX2070 / 8gigs of Ram). Upgraded from a GTX970. I was so excited to think I could max out everything with ease on ultra with a solid 60 fps at 1080p. Now it can do that but the performance is not stable (On certain maps). I constantly get my rank reset to 20 on Switch. First time it happened was when the game crashed and accepted that it probably thought I quit a match. But then last night when I finished my session and went back to the main menu and then quit, I launched today to see I was rank 20 again! I was 17 when I finished my playthrough last night. Seeing as Dead by Daylight is horror based I assume a lot of Dead by Daylight players, mods and devs are gonna play RE2 Remake?? Not to mention theres probably a ton of Resident Evil fans. Its either the infinite loading, or just a hard crash but they both seem to happen right at the start of loading a map. As I stated before I have zero issues with this happening. But Im more worried about it looking like im disconnecting on Behaviours systems end. I dont wanna be banned for something I dont have control over. Its worrying more than it should. The aura blocking was needed in order to restore the core value of the game. Which is hide and seek. I feel the complaining is mainly coming from the B&C users. Just a friendly reminder that there was a time that myself and so many other killers didnt have B&C and all other aura reading perks we are spoiled with these days. I been getting crashes a ton since the new update and they seem to be happening at the start of when a match is loading. I dont mind the crashing. Im more concerned on it looking on your end. As in does it look like im quitting matches because of the crash? I dont want to be banned purely because of the games tech issues. Any help is much appreciated. First I wanna say how great the visual and performance improvements to the game are. The game looks and runs better than ever before. All the maps have a fresh polish and feel to them. Seriously loving it! I was usually averaging 40 or so fps ultra settings on a decent pc. Now im staying around the 60 mark constantly. Loving the whole lore related cutscene and would love to put it on my channel as I know it wont be there after the event ends. But when I watch the cutscene in the game its only one part? Id love for Dead by Daylight to bring out some figures. Maybe even some Funko pops as I seen much smaller indie development teams (Hello Neighbor devs) release them for their games. I made this post on Steam discussions before so apologies to anyone that has to read my idea again. Its been still an issue for me and i'm guessing a lot of people that play with randoms. Is that you unhook or see an injured survivor and wanna heal them but they are unaware you are behind or even close to them.
