  • Haddonfield rework is finally coming up. So, right now, many among the most unbalanced or worst designed maps have already been reworked. Cowshed, The Game, Shelter Woods... judging by how long the map reworks are taking, I guess we aren't going to see changes to them any soon, right? They might remain like that for years, assuming the game will survive that long?

  • I've seen a lot of people in this forum saying Sadako is the worst killer in the game. I must say she is not THAT bad. Actually, she is the second strongest stealth killer right now, falling just behind Wraith in that regard. Her stealth ability is far better than Pig and Ghostface's, since she doesn't slow down, can't be broken out and also can't be seen from too far. It can also help her a litt

  • So, the only thing it does is showing where are the TVs you can't even use right now, when you usually already know they are there because, you know, you saw their aura when it was on. So it just gives you an information you already have... and it's a RARE add-on? Why? The game has other useless information

  • I swear this map has the absolute worst design in the game, even worst than RPD and Shelter Woods, and the sole reason for that is the outrageous number of god pallets. Try playing on it as any M1 killer, you're in for a bad time unless survivors screw up really badly. Until all the god pallets are gone, every chase can only go one way: a survivor keeps running from pallet to pallet and you keep

  • And there it goes again. Two hooks spawned on the same side of a corridor on the lower floor, one near the middle and one in the corner. No hooks on the rest of the corridor or on the adjacent one. No hooks on the middle outdoor square either, for some goddamn reason. First survivor dies on the mid-corridor hook after his teammates take too long to rescue. After that, a survivor is downed near th

  • I was recently in a match as survivor and the killer had Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance. There were only two times when the perk regressed a gen I was working at the moment. On both of them, the gen progression bar regressed suddenly while the gen released a few more sparks, but it didn't explode, interrupt me or make me scream. I was holding the gen both times and wasn't forced to let go of it by

  • God pallets, god windows, you name it. Why are there many still in the game? They make the kind of loop where your skill barely matters and a play on a tile involving then mostly can only go one way unless the killer has a power that hits through them. Not only is quite frustrating for the killer who can do nothing about them, it feels quite bland and boring too. The survivor vaults the window, t

  • I was playing Trickster on Dead Dawg Saloon and I found myself in a situation that somehow I had never experienced before in that map (probably because I don't play Trickster and Huntress that frequently, but still, I've played them a lot until I got them to Prestige III)... or at least I don't remember experiencing it. EDIT: Just to make it clear, I play this game since 2017. So yeah, I was al

  • After I got my first down in a match, right beside the shack, I tried to take Mikaela to the basement. Boil Over made me waste a little more than I should while going to the door, but then I started going down the stairs, directly from the top to avoid falling from a height. But then... I "jumped". While she wiggled and I tried to walk straight, I was suddenly propelled forward, into the air, an

  • I was playing as the Trickster and taking a survivor, Mikaela, to the basement of the shack in Shelter Woods. She had Boil Over and, therefore, was wiggling a lot and making hard for me to walk on a straight line. When I started going down the stairs, however, I was suddenly propelled foward, lifting me in the air before I fell a few feet foward. This triggered Boil Over's 25% bonus and the survi

  • It was blissful to play killer with both Cowshed and Haddonfield disabled for a while. We knew it was temporary, but damn, I will miss it. No welcome back, but hello again Cowshed, I guess. I hope Haddonfield takes a little longer to return, but don't count on it.

  • "Taking One For The Team" requires you to take a protection hit from a recently unhooked survivor 250 times. It's already a perk that takes long to complete. You only make progress towards it either when the killer is camping or when they return to the hook upon realizing someone is about to rescue, and you still have to do it many, many times. However, it was teased on the latest Q&A that

  • 2021 is almost over, and while some changes to the game this year were good, others were quite bad. One thing that I think was particularly negative, specially in comparison to 2020, is how map balance was handled. TL;DR : Map reworks and new map additions made the game more unbalanced and less fun. Now there are fewer killer-sided maps and even more survivor-sided ones. First off, let's see w

  • First off, let's see what was positive about map balance this year: The Crotus Prenn Asylum rework. That's it. Two maps had a few issues solved, like their really strong main buildings. Now, everything map-related that was bad: The Game (Gideon Meat Packing Plant) rework was terrible. It went from one of the few killer sided maps that still had a few things going for survivors to one that n

  • The devs wanted add a new mechanic to the game. I get it. But the way it was introduced was terrible, and what bothers me the most is that the way it is designed and the changes made to the game for its release seem to make sure they had no counters whatsoever. Honestly, this almost feels like making the new perks unhealthy on purpose. The killer may snuff it early? Make so it has unlimited uses

  • So, we have only two weeks before the Stranger Things chapter becomes unavailable and Hawkins is completely removed from the game. And I see a lot of people in the forum saying they are happy with the map going away, which I find disappointing, but not surprising, considering the hate indoor maps constantly get in this game. However, I must say I completely disagree with this hate. I play this g

  • Isn't the possessed chain supposed to make survivors incapacitated, preventing them from leaving the exit gates for a few seconds even after they are downed? Because I recently had a match where I downed a chained survivor by the exit gate and he instantly escaped. Is this bugged?

  • The description of Shattered S.T.A.R.S. Badge, one of Nemesis' iridescent add-ons, now says the following: "Increases Zombie Movement Speed by 100% for 30 seconds after a generator is repaired". 30 seconds? That's the duration it had on release, but it had been buffed recently to 60 seconds on the patch 5.2.0. Was the buff reversed on the mid-chapter patch? That wasn't mentioned in the pat

  • Playing on this map makes me want to mori myself. Honestly, it isn't the most unbalanced (considering we have Haddonfield), but it still has the worst design, because playing on it is always either very stressful or very boring. With the amount of god pallets it has, the chases have little to no strategy or mindgames. When playing as killer, it's always as this: You chase the survivor, they reac

  • How serious of a transgression is to hold the game hostage? Are people only banned if they do it many, many times? Or doing it just a couple of times can get them a short ban? I'm asking this because, even though you don't see this very often, a single time may make you waste a lot of time in a single match. I'm talking specifically about survivors who, at some point in a match when they're at

  • Trapper buffs are always good news to be welcomed, but among the good things that are coming to this killer, like the consistent number of traps, more traps carried by default, and add-on changes, one small thing looks like a bad idea, and that's how Trapper Sack is going to be now that its original effect will be base-kit. When I saw an add-on that makes Trapper start carrying ALL of his traps,

  • Not only was the bug not fixed in the Bugfix Patch, it isn't even adressed as a Known Issue in the patch notes. Why, considering it's his worst bug right now? By the way, despite having seen so many killer bugs through the years, I think it's the first time I see a new killer be released with its basic attack bugged.

  • Platform: PC While playing the Twins, every time you switch between Charlotte and Victor, you hear the sound notification that should indicate a generator being completed. It happens every single time, every single game. You switch to control Victor or Charlotte and you hear it during the transition, but no gens have been done.

  • Why wasn't Haddonfield reworked yet, after such a long time? It only isn't the most problematic map in the game anymore because RPD exists now, and it's one of the most infamous since its original release. Even with the changes it received through the years, its still the second worst map to play as killer (again, only not the worst of all because of RPD), specially because its the only one that

  • It had been a while since I played the Doctor as much as I played him today. I remember one of the complaints when the new UI came live was how some killer ability-effects were hard to see, and I remember seeing changes made to fix it in previous patch notes. However, on one of my first trials today, there was a time I looked at the HUD after shocking and blasting many survivors and thought ever

  • Just happened to me in a match in The Thompson House. A survivor was right at the edge of the exit, a single step of escaping... and it had cover against all hits. I tried to hit her with a basic attack many times, but was hitting what appeared to be an invisible wall instead. Apparently, all you have to do is stand right before the edge where you escape and you have an invisible cover against a

  • I started updating on steam less than an hour ago. On steam, it said 2.4gb. I around 30gb of space before I start the update. Okay, I've updated DbD before when I had much less space than that. But now my download stopped for lack of space in disk. It says I downloaded 2,31 gb, but I have only miserable 1,41MB of space left in my disk right now. How did this happen? I don't remember ever having

  • When the killer was first anounced, I had been waiting for the misterious alchemist to be released since the Hallowed Blight on 2018, but was disapointed his power was just about "running faster and slamming into walls". It seemed uncreative to me. But I've been playing him a lot and he is really fun to play! And also good! His power is efficient for both map mobility and chases, and he also has

  • Before I start, I must say I recently moved to a different place, and my bedroom, where I play the game, is a bit far from the wi-fi router, what I feared would raise the ping too much. However, It hadn't happened so far. I played a few trials as killer and many as survivor on the latest days, and I wasn't even bothered by lag. So I didn't move my PC. However, minutes ago I had my first match of

  • When the chapter was teased, some people started saying "Jekyll and Hyde", but it was already obvious the new killer was going to be the alchemist from the Hallowed Blight. I actually expected him to be called The Alchemist too. However, his design is based on Mr Hyde. Besides being transformed by the serum, wich we already knew, he is short, just like Mr Hyde in the famous novel (he was only tur

  • The new killer teaser just came out and I've seen some comments speculating about what will it be. Many said "Werewolf". Others said "Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde". But anyone who's waiting for him since last year (or since 2018, in my case) knows he is The Alchemist, who appeared first in the cinematics for the 2018 Hallowed Blight event and then, in 2019's Withering Blight, received the most awesome c

  • Before the next tome comes out, I wanted to make a tier list with the cinematics we already have. And here it is: The Alchemist cinematic is so good it deserved it's own tier, followed by the killers being awesome. Every cinematic is good in some way, there is not a single bad one, but Claudette and Jane's are bellow the others because there is just no

  • I just noticed Pyramid Head has a VERY RARE add-on called Crimson Ceremony Book, wich inflicts Hemorrage on survivors affected by Torment... seriously, again? Freddy's very rare z block also became a hemorrage add-on when he was reworked, and no one liked it. The devs should understand hemorrage is a bad status effect, one of the most useless ones. No one likes hemorrage, and it's definitevely n

  • I just had a match in Mount Ormond Resort where two survivor got stuck. I was playing as The Plague when, via BBQ and Chili, I noticed the aura of a survivor who was doing small and quick movements behind the hill, almost like shaking. I got there and noticed she was stuck. I downed her and she was freed, so I grabbed and dropped her a few times to let her get up again and run away, to be fair, b

  • This perk is the reason that small efficiency nerf barely changed anything, only affecting solo players. Why? Because Prove Thyself was buffed in a way that allow survivors to ignore the nerf. Just like the last time the efficiency was lowered. Now I've been seeing the perk more frequently, usually on people who are part of SWF groups. They only need one slot from one of them and it makes a hug

  • Today is the first time I play since the mid-chapter patch. I don't know about survivor, but as killer I've been getting suck somewhere nearly every match. After being stunned, I got stuck at a pallet until I broke it. After opening a locker, I got stuck at it until I opened it again. While chasing a survivor, I got stuck for a few seconds on a passage that wasn't even narrow. I couldn't go f

  • I was playing Demogorgon on Ironworks of Misery. At some point, I tryed to travel to a portal I had put behind the long wall of a jungle gym. But then I appeared inside the wall instead of behind it. I could see through both sides and could attack survivors that got really close, but couldn't move nor place portals. Here I was watching them close my portal, while I could do nothing.

In the end, David beats some guys who were taking orders from a man called "Uncle Brass", and than receives an offer to work for him. • One thing that has bothered me a lot recently is how my FPS is lower while I'm on Freddy's dream world, which means always lower while playing Freddy. Is this issue being looked upon? It's annoying because it is harder to track movement and counter 360s if you can't see so many frames.

  • When the charms were announced, I found nice we would get new customization options. But now that they arrived, I found the hook charms a bit weird for killers. Survivor charms are fine because they are normal people with various outfits. But the ones in the hooks... do they all really need to be hanged to the hook by a small chain? It makes then look like key chains. Why would killers collect ch

  • Okay, now I believe it must be a consensus on the whole community that Ghostface is really, really weak. He really is, and one of the main reasons is because he is the first killer whose power COMPLETELY relies on stealth, and relying on stealth is not viable. Come on: Maps There are only 2 maps actually fitting for stealth. One is really good for that (Lery's/Treatment Theater) and the othe

The Pig's Leather Outfit might resemble one of those from the ending of Saw: Final Chapter (AKA Saw 3D). I believe the weapon is a completely new thing since the only hidden blade shown in the saga is the one from the first mov
