That was my first reaction, but now I feel so much second hand embarrassment.
Expect the thread to be deleted but brought back in a month. Calling it now.

Maybe the Devs should sell BP paket for Auric Cells, if so many people have a problem with the grind they can buy BP.

Uh dude, I think you forgot to switch to your alt. If you want to just leave and never come back, I understand, this must be extremely embarrassing if this isn't a joke.
I'm freaking crying from laughter. Jesus Christ man

Survivor build: open hand + kindred. I refuse to prestige my Ace because of this and due to that, I have quickly turned into an Ace main. Best combo in the game by far.
I haven't played killer in a while due to having to start over since I moved between console and PC but I normally run STBFL and Devour Hope. Especially nasty on Ghostface

Patrick Bateman couldn't work. He doesn't have a "signature style" and is literally an insane person. Especially if he were to be based off his movie adaptation.

Angry up vote

The game is honestly balanced very well.

Not seeing an issue here.
You downed two survivors. That's two hooks for one gen. That means one person has to go for the unhooks so that means only person doing gens. If you manage to hook both players next to each other, that's an almost guaranteed Stage 2 for at least one of them.
And you said you still 4k? What are you upset about, again? Man, the entitlement of the forum users I swear.

NoEd and DS
Just boring perks. Yeah sometimes I say "damn I wish I had DS" but I find running non-meta perks much more fun

Not really, but I did spend a good 20 or so seconds trying to break a ghostface out of stealth one time only to discover the killer was a Legion and I'd been looking at a tyre.

If a killer had NoEd and you can't find the final totem, leave.
Bring maps/ perks to help locate totems
Again: just leave

I see NoEd probably once every ten games.

It's too early to caw out any of the killers new abilities, really.
But I'll try not to be a complete cloaca of negativity, and feather your pedal by stating what a work of art I bet this new killer will be.
As you all flock to ponder what wings they'll be given, I'll be perched on my chair wondering how they'll commit murder myself.
Sadly I'm impatient though.
Here's hoping the wait doesn't end up robin me of my senses and turn me into a raven lunatic.
I hate you

Crazy to hear that. Me I'm 43 and I only got a small fever from Covid and was fine after 3-4 days. My little sister at 29 yrs was very sick and had to go to hospital. Now over a year later she still has no smell and everything she eats taste awful. She has lost 35 kilos and is super thin now, too thin. Anyway take care!
I'm 31. Caught covid from a patient and didn't realize I had it till I was painting three days later and couldn't smell it. I lost my sense of smell of taste and it's finally coming back after over a year. One thing a doctor I work with told me was to eat and smell STRONG things to try to restart the senses. So Ive been eating a ton of spicy food. Probably have a stomach ulcer but it has worked. Trading one evil for another hahaha.

Yes, they did my blood work every morning and it always checked out great. The only issue I have is blood pressure but we had it under control and they're going to set me up with a doctor in the future to make sure I bring it down naturally.
I'll go to walmart later and look at sprays, but I'll probably do as you suggest and use hot water and a towel. Thanks again for all of your advice and help!
Blood pressure is a hell of thing to control man. Honestly the hardest thing even in clinical settings. Keep up with your blood pressure meds and make sure you're drinking water. Stay away from caffeine and alcohol the best you can. Don't be afraid to lay down if you feel a headache coming on either!
But don't thank me, man. I do this 3 days a week because I love what I do and wouldn't trade it for the world. I'm here if you need help, advice, or just someone to talk too. Too often, covid patients get caught up in their head when they get the diagnosis and it's scary. I'm happy you're out of the scary part but recovery is a process and it's different for everyone. Just take it slow and you'll be okay 💜

Yes, you are correct on making it hard to sleep, it was also causing me to have anxiety. They let me try Xanax once but I didn't want to get prescribed any and I didn't notice it do much in the hospital the one time they gave it to me, so I ended up making sure I purchased melatonin which helps. Currently, they have me on dexamethasone and have given me a prescription of 1 mg tablets in order to make it easier to count how much I take and to easily taper if off. Off of the top of my head, its like, I have to take 6 each day for the next three days and then go down to 4 pills for three days, then 2 for three days and finally 1 pill a day for three days.
I do have one question I wanted to ask. Do you have any nasal spray suggestions that would help moisturize my nasal passages? The oxygen I was on has kind of messed them up and I'm tired of all the dry blood connected to long gooey strands of mucus (sorry for that image). I've noticed improvement by rinsing with warm water in a hot shower, but I can't do that all the time. I don't want anything for allergies or similar, I know those can make it worse, which leads to using the product more and not really improving the situation. Just something to remove the dryness.
Steroids are no joke man. Some patients get pretty testy while taking them while some can't stop eating and have the hardest time relaxing. Question, did they check your blood sugar while taking the steroids in hospital?
As far as nasal spray, some people have noted that it can cause gnarly migraines so if you're prone to headaches, be careful. But! Really any nasal spray for dry sinuses/ allergies will help but you could also just get a bowl of hot water and a towel. Just cover your head and place it over the bowl for a few minutes. You'll look silly sure but it helps a ton (also it's free hahaha). If you're ever back as a patient make sure you ask for humified oxygen!

Thank you so much for being so nice and helpful! I’ll make sure to harass you if I need you. Right now my issue is just having to be careful and taper off of the annoy lung steroid and trying to fix my sleep schedule.
Well, I’m also getting obsessive on looking up healthy wholesome recipes to cook even though I’ll probably be to lazy to do.
Most steroids have pretty strict instructions for tapering (i.e take 4 for the first 2 days followed by 3 then 2 then 1) if I remember correctly take home prescriptions for prednisone has it laid out nicely in pimple packs so you don't even have to think about it.
Steroids make it sometimes hard to sleep at night so look at having melatonin or even Benadryl!

I just wanted to give everyone an update on my status. The Bush has been freed! I am currently sitting on my computer typing this and it is so nice not sitting on the rock (hospital bed) that I've been forced to make my home for the last two weeks! The doctor says everything is looking fantastic, I didn't need to take home any extra oxygen, thank god, I wasn't looking forward to lugging a tank around everywhere. I just have to make sure I taper off of my meds properly and take it easy to build up my strength as @xBEATDOWNSx advised me to do earlier!
While I know this forum is generally filled with negativity and anger, I knew at its core we have lots of good people here in the community. Thank you so much for showing me some compassion when I was at my lowest, physically, spiritually and mentally, it really meant a lot to me even though we are all technically strangers. It just shows everyone can help just be being there.
Once again, thank you all so much and happy gaming <3

Thank you for all of your advice! I was wondering why they were giving me blood clot medication and didn’t realize it was due to being bedridden and immobile. I assumed it was due to the virus and medication they put me on. It makes sense and I’ll be sure to constantly get up once an hour and try to move for 10-15 minutes at a time.
They didn’t put any wires on my legs, just some leads that were placed on my chest and sides. I would have liked if they would have but I didn’t know it was an option.
Ill be sure to stay clean, my OCD basically requires it of me. I’m actually looking forward to going to walmart and buying cleaning supplies!
Covid can cause blood clots in the legs of younger patients so you gotta walk around and keep the blood flowing. I'm happy you're doing well enough to go home!

Thank you so much! They’ve been giving me daily blood clot medication though they don’t think I need it anymore.
What do you mean by “PT” and what are SED’s/PAS? Are those the annoying monitors and wires that I was tethered to? If so, they were so annoying! I’m rather hairy and they refused to stick. Ended up basically wrapped in medical tape to keep them in place. They have actually taken me off of them yesterday!
From my understanding, I’ll probably be sent home with a steroid prescription for my lungs and some blood pressure medication. I’m just happy that I won’t be needing an oxygen tank!
I think my biggest problem leaving the hospital is pacing myself, taking it easy and slowly rebuilding my lost muscle mass. That and some issues with life that I have to deal with, but I’m gonna take baby steps!
*PS.
In case no one has ever said it to you, thank you for choosing to be a nurse. I’ve never truly appreciated how important health care workers are until I needed them and after being here for two weeks, I see how much stress and bull crap you guys go through. I hope you all have a fulfilling life and everything goes the way you need it! Bless you.
They probably prescribed you Warfarin or Lovenox for your clots/ prevention! PT would be physical therapy. Make sure you're walking around and moving your legs. Blood pools in your legs while you're sitting or laying and if left to long, you can develop a blood clot in your leg which can lead to your brain or lungs. Neither are good outcome. If you're able, go for a walk in your yard once a day. Just keep moving.
The wires that crossed your body are probably the telemetry wires and your continuous pulse ox. SED/ PAS/ IPC's are the wraps they put on your legs that hook up your legs that squeeze them. It mimics the muscle contractions in your legs and simulates what your legs do while walking. You're supposed to wear them while you're in bed for long periods of time though some people will use TED hose.
I'm here if you need anything man. Covid is scary and the unknowns behind it make it worse. Just make sure you're washing your hands and moving around the best you can. Keep an eye on any fever, eat and drink fluids, and stay healthy. I'm here if you need anything, man!
-
Dude to work I don't get to play much as I'd like to see every rank reset I'm stuck playing against players who were clearly outmatched and it got stale quick.
MMR system has,for the most part, placed me against players who are now equal footing. I'm taking 2-3 kills about 60% of the time and survivor about half of my games. It's much more fair this way
-
Really hope it's the ability to command the crows. Think victor but more harmful (maybe obscuring vision?)
-
Nurse and covid survivor here.
Keep your head up and eyes forward. Make sure you work with PT and keep your damn SED's/ PAS on in bed. Last thing I want to hear is you got a blood clot.
I'm here if you need to talk/ have questions. Same to anyone here

I'd love boons that reduce sounds tbh. Footstep sounds are extremely loud and Reid is Jeff 2.0 in terms of being loud when injured. No scratch marks does not mean anything when there are 3 other ways of tracking Survivors. I'd argue that Shadow Step needs a buff if anything, since it's not as good as Circle and not worth running.
I do agree with Shadow Step needing a buff. A killer who understands how to track survivors will have zero issues with countering that perk.
-
Boon's are fine honestly. As a killer, if I chase someone through the range of a boon and lose scratch marks, I make a note to come back to check the area if I lose chase/ down them. If survivors are healing in seconds, it's the same idea.
They take 24 seconds for a survivor to set up and 2/3 seconds to snuff out.
Now if BHVR adds a Boon that doubles as a mini Prove Thyself... Well get the pitchforks

Blood Echo Legion is best anti exhaustion build, survs are exhaused at all times. I've been starting to main Blood Echo Legion because I'm ######### tired of Dead Hard.
Going to have to try this!

Outside of match recently, all of my killer games have gone great. Games are balanced well, sometimes I'll 4k while more often I'm taking 2-3 kills each game.
-
When I was showing the game to a friend that's how we played. It definitely adds another layer of fun to the game.
-
Probably 40 minutes as a survivor. We three genes ourselves and nemesis just stood in the perfect spot to run someone off a gen but never committed to a chase (it was me and one survivor left). In the end I let him kill me so the other dude could escape.
As a killer? 30 minutes at most when I was learning the Hag
-
2 survivors
Jill and Zarina
For killers is always a toss up but I am a filthy Ghostface main who has has been enjoying himself playing as Pinhead and Hag

Is anyone else on PC noticing that their gpu is working harder just to maintain the same graphics settings since the update?
After the update, i now have to lower the graphics settings and resolution to maintain 60 fps, where before I could max it out just fine.
Really disappointing honestly.
It's funny. In my PC I have a 3070 with a 3700x and 16 GB of RAM and on my laptop I have a Ryzen 3 3550h, a GTX 1650 and 16 GB of RAM.
I get a much more consistent frame rate on my lower powered laptop. My laptop will sit at around 50 fps on medium settings. My PC (I have the fps unlocked) will have insane dips. I'll easily go from 120 down to 60 with one static blast from the Doc. The choppiness at those moments actually makes me a little sick because it is so sudden.

Billies will either hit more objects with their chainsaw than survivors, or will spend 2 minutes revving their chainsaw to try to set up the perfect curve which never happens. Either way, they never win the match.
Clowns are always bad or new, and almost never use any skin except the default. Except Blighted Clowns, who for some reason aren't bad players but are very bad sports and will gladly facecamp, hard tunnel and bleed everyone out while using Pinky Finger and probably a mori. Regardless of cosmetic or skill level, they will NEVER use the antidote.
Tricksters will get downs fairly quickly, but even that won't be enough to stop the gens being finished at speeds faster than his knives in Main Event. No matter what happens in the match, they WILL camp a hooked survivor at some point. If they wear a recolor outfit, be wary because he is probably good. If they wear the red and black feathers outfit, laugh and watch as he fails to get even one kill.
Twins are a myth. They do not exist. And even you did hypothetically find one, they will always be using the default cosmetic without fail and will, at some point, stop using Victor altogether and just chase you as Charlotte for 2 gens. Despite their reputation, they rarely ever go for multiple slugs - likely because hitting Victor's pounce is a monumental task for them. Nobody has seen a Twins mori.
I have seen the twins exactly ONE time since they released. I don't think I've met a Twins main

Most Megs will go down within 2 seconds of a chase, but then the other half of Megs are absolutely cracked and will run the killer and flashlight click them for 5 gens.
Most Ghostfaces that I've played against are absolute pure evil as well because they take advantage of the fact that they can teabag and do everything with it that they can. (No offence to OP! I'm sure you're lovely).
I'll let you live if I see you in game
