That one is the heavy duty heated mat. They also have a lighter heated pad in my room and a heated bed in the living room because my cats live better than many people 😅
I do want to replace that one with another heated bed though. The pad and the bed are automated so they stay on but I have to turn the mat on (and it shuts off by itself after 12 hours). So I want to replace the mat with an automatic one instead so I don't have to deal with turning it on and off.

My assumption is that they're real people who basically got frustrated and essentially quit (hoping the GF would just hook them so they'd die). But they were just sick of being in a hopeless situation and just laid down to die.

I have a family member who wants to do a BG3 LAN party. I purchased the remasters of the first 2 to prepare myself lol. I’m glad BG3 is doing well and that people love it.
I've got two runs going, my own personal run where I'm doing basically everything I can find and a run with the peeps I used to play D&D with.
Funny enough, they were so desperate to play BG3 with me that they gave me a gaming laptop (which to be fair, my buddy worked for a game publisher that went under so he got the gaming laptop for free but still, could have sold it for a couple hundred bucks at least I imagine) and a $100 Steam Gift Card so that I could get BG3.
I've never liked PC gaming as I am too impatient to deal with all the ish you have to deal with to do PC gaming (and even getting BG3 to actually run was making me incredibly irked) but now that everything is up and running, I'm really happy to get to play BG3. The game is super fun, especially playing with them like we used to play D&D. The only mild thing that sucks is we're farther in our campaign than I am in my individual campaign so I've gone through a lot of "spoilers" but overall not the worst thing in the world. I am just about to finish Act 2 and in our co-op campaign we just started Act 3 so I should overtake them in the next few days.

I play lots of stuff!
Currently I am playing the beast that is Baldur's Gate 3. I've got like...a dozen games in my backlog waiting for BG3 to be finished but this game is big! I don't like to play multiple games at the same time.

They're from the board game. So they don't sell minis, they're part of the game.

My last effort was about 20 years ago. It was a Star Wars Battle of Hoth diorama. I got to the point where I was just dipping the snowtroopers in white paint. That was the last time I tried to do one.
Same more or less. I very slightly dabbled in it when I was in college with painting my D&D figures but never really got into it
Fun Tippy Fact of the Day; I was an Art Major in college. Painting is one of the mediums I kind of wish I'd have focused on more when I was doing classes. Watching what people can do with colors and a canvas (or in this case, colors and some plastic) is amazing and something I wouldn't mind trying to pick back up.
...really any of the "traditional" mediums. I had gone for Graphic Design so all my focus was computer stuff but I'd love to try my hand at something like drawing or painting. I suppose I could just pick up a pencil and just start drawing something but...uh...[Excuse #542]

While it is "technically" possible to survive as a lone warrior who don't need no help from anyone cause you're a strong, independent young (wo)man!, it is virtually impossible for you to do 5 gens all by yourself while simultaneously running/hiding from the killer.
it's what's always going to hold the game back for Solo Q. They can make all kinds of changes to put Solo on the same level as SWF but ultimately, you can't "fix" bad teammates.

There is not a single thing that could happen in this game that would justify someone telling someone else to off themselves.
But to answer your question, it sounds like a salty killer in all their salty glory being salty. There is no need to pay what they have to say any heed.

I suppose it's not impossible that some innocent killer is going to get caught in the crossfire but as others have stated, how often are you damaging 8 generators period, let alone 8 damages on one single generator without doing an annoying 3 gen defense
We don't need 20+ minute games, even if it makes some killers sad that they can't 3 gen anymore and make the game painfully boringly drag out
EDIT: Hell, this is coming from one of three killers who actually runs Oppression. If anyone has a potential to get accidentally screwed over by this change, it's me and I'm STILL 100% on board with it

As long as it has the function of 4%ing, you really can't punish people for using it

The slow turn
Somebody Blast Mines a gen and you know where they are? Let it go off, stop, then slowly turn to stare at them.
Know the survivor is in a locker? Walk past it, stop, then slowly turn around to look at the locker
A survivor blows a gen that you are on? Stop doing the gen, slow turn to look at them, then slow turn back to the gen to start working on it again.

The "plus" side is the owners are retiring. So they're not shutting down because of problems or whatnot (unless not finding someone to buy your shop is considered a problem I suppose).

I went against a kind of jerkish SWF team. They weren't bad during the game but of course, they were the "jump through the Shack Window back and forth" move. I was playing Oni however and one of my Go-To perks with "down in one" killers is Blood Warden...
I catch one out of position with the timer at more than half gone and hook him. I then walked away right away to "chase" someone else, hoping they take the bait and unhook their fellow survivor ASAP. They did.
Three of the four of them sent me messages stating that they thought that was hilarious, GGWP, etc. But one of them was PISSED :D
Got a bunch of messages in a row from them just tearing into me and calling me all kinds of names

The only thing I really don't like is that throwing a snowball and pallots/windows/lockers is the same button so I keep wanting to throw snowballs at people but end up slamming a pallet/vaulting a window/getting into a locker instead

It's funny cause if you search the forum about this topic, you'll see plenty of threads BEGGING people to just open the damn gate so they can escape and stop 99'ing them.
As others have stated, whether opening the gate ASAP or 99'ing is the correct play depends on too many variables so there is no "correct play" for which is better. You gotta hope your team adjusts to the situation in the match (and even then, accept that sometimes they'll just choose wrong).

I for one appreciate that BHVR allows people to (politely) trash on the game and the company.
I imagine it's gotta be tempting as hell to Iron Fist away criticism (whether said criticism is valid or not) and I respect that they don't.

While some are better than others (Stares angrily at "Little Hope"), I adore these games. I've played or own all of the Supermassive Story Games (though I haven't actually played The Devil in Me or House of Ashes, just own them). These games have always scratched a particular itch of mine and I am stupid excited to see what they do with DBD
Cabin in the Woods Spoilers; though you should have seen it by now, it's like...500 years old at this point!
I'm kind of hoping they end up doing a "Cabin in the Woods"-esque horror setup where like...The Entity is kind of a God like in the movie. People are forced into Trials in order to appease The Entity or something of that nature. You play as someone investigating it maybe or play as someone running the trials (or both) or something of that nature.
I suppose it could just be like...one trial or something (they could just add more characters as a four person group wouldn't be a very big group, just have a trial with 8 meddling kids that all are trying to survive) and roll with it.

@C3Tooth This thread made me happy and sad at the same time... a murmur in my otherwise cold dead heart.
I was gonna buy it but it had come out only for the PC and then I forgot it came out on The Xbox but I have such a stupid long backlog...
Maybe once it goes on sale I'll grab it. I've heard it's wonderful and as someone who has gamed for a really long time, it's fun to see more unique games. I was kind of hoping it would eventually show up on Game Pass but if it hasn't at this point, I imagine it won't.

I haven't' played FNAF at all for reference
The first half is really...not good. I've been told it's sensational if you're a big FNAF fan but I was just kind of bored the entire time. The second half gets at least more interesting. I enjoyed it well enough due to the strength of the second half but Willy's Wonderland was much better in my opinion.

I've personally dropped pallets when a Survivor is in the dying state underneath one when the killer picks them up because it saves them, I stun the killer and they drop the dying Survivor.
It's basically screwing over your fellow survivor for you to get away. Like the pallet example, it's not hitting the survivor but they throw it down while you're there, you can't slide across it right away so the killer can get a free hit on you.
There are various ways to sandbag someone but it almost always results in them trying to pawn the killer off of them onto you instead.

If it's almost the end, I'll sometimes stick around just to see if my team survives but usually I won't watch a match with more than a few minutes left in it unless I really want the killer to take them out (generally because they either sandbagged, they screwed me over somehow, or they played Hide and Seek the entire time and never touched a generator).

Aliens 👽 were all I saw for two full weeks after release. Chucky is all I'm seeing now as well. I can't say the same for the previous few killers though. I already have every Tier 3 perk on him and have him P3 but simply do not have the patience. As long as the BP bonus is 100% somewhere, I'm happy 😊
I have found that really unpopular killers fixes itself within a day or two, good originals take about a week, bad IPs take about a week, and good IPs (where I'd put Chuckster) is about two weeks.
Obviously YMMV on this, just my anecdotal take on killer queue times with new releases.
I don't even try to play the new killer for a week or so when they're newly released. I'm impatient AF :D
