I'll shoutout @tippy2k2 I'm sure him and his companions are proud as well 😍
Olive would like to personally congratulate you General so she's gonna take a nap and have a dream

One hook total with one generator left
That killer was presumably getting their teeth kicked in and decided to no longer play
It's irksome if you're the survivors sometimes but if the killer decides they're done playing, there's not a lot you can do about it
-
Now granted, I only saw Terrifier 2 so maybe if I saw 1 my opinion would change but I doubt it
I have no idea why people mess their pants over this movie
I hear how Art is such a unique and fun character but he's really…just not. He's Michael Myers who makes funny faces once in a while. The kills, while gnarly, are gore for gores sake. There's nothing particularly scary to me about a scene where Art takes a minute to stab his victim to death because the director wants to lovingly linger on the knife going in and out of the victim. Then maybe it's more explained in Terrifier 1 but the plot was absolute nonsense that went all over the damn place.
I seem to be in the minority of horror fans so maybe this is just a Tippy problem but Terrifier 2 at least was very meh and I do not understand why people are so head over heels for these movies. It's not a bad movie but it feels like it's shocking for shock sake. Just make it as gory as possible so you can advertise it as TOO XTREME and call it a day.

As a Solo Q player, I won't play if I don't have Kindred (though that is no longer an issue since all the general perks are unlocked for everyone and I've played long enough that no one isn't fully decked out with every perk).
I also almost always run Bond
For myself, I've always said information is king in this game and both those perks give me incredibly valuable information. You can get a LOT of information from being able to see the auras of your teammates. Where to go, where the killer (probably) is, who needs healing, and hell, where NOT to go (if the killer is chasing me and I can go left or right but see that on the right X is working on a gen, I know I should turn left).
Information is vital in this game and those two perks together give me about every piece of information I need to make the best choices
-
I don't feel like I'm punished. Maybe putting a handicap on myself because I'd rather run weirder/non-meta perks but I prefer dying with fun perks than escaping with boring perks.

You are whats wrong with solo queue if you give up on first hook at the beginning of the game, I’m so sick and tired of teammates that do this crap. I’m not trying to start a fight it’s just exhausting.
I'm trying to start a fight!
If you are giving up on the first hook and killing yourself on the hook instead of playing, you are a bad person!

Pro Tip that I use when I want to stack cakes is I change my username to TERRORMISU or IRUNFLANS! and have an Anniversary item in my hand.
I'd say 45% of the time when I do this, other teammates, and even the Killer, will bring one.
Anniversary items catch your eye so when people see my name and item, it clicks in their head what I'm trying to tell them.
I play on Nintendo Switch so we can change our username as often as we want. If your platform allows it, give it a shot!
I am on The Xbox so I cannot :(

It shouldn't be. They're not more profitable during the event, but they're not technically less profitable either.
It means that you don't need to be using BP offerings to make the most of this event. Everyone can get huge BP scores without the requirement to spend your BPS.
But I want MORE!
Gimme Gimme Gimme Gimme!!!!

There's no need. BPS don't multiply event bonuses.
Say you scored 20K from base scores, 30K in event scores, then the +400% turns this into 250K BP.
The BPS just multiply your base 20K and bump it up to 270K total.
Literally no more profitable than running outside of the event to turn a 20K game into 40K.
Wait, fo rizzle!?!?!
Well that's even more disappointing 😞

400% BP 🥳🥳🥳
Kitty pic for celebration 😍
Holly enjoys her BP Cake
-
Now people will bring BPS to share with Tippy?
Right?
....right?!?! 😥
-
I've played almost exclusively survivor this event
I can count on one hand how many games everyone brought BPS/cakes (cause I only need one finger). I can also count on one hand how many times 4/5 were bps/cakes.
I'd say...65% of my games there is one BPS/cake in play (mine). It's been incredibly disheartening this event.
-
Dropping your item when you're the last survivor.
Unless you've gone out of your way to irk me, I will always accept the trade.

If you're playing solo queue then I don't blame people for not bringing BP offerings as the quality of team mates in solo is usually not very good.
It's not a personal thing just a solo queue issue.
All I play is solo queue cause all my friends did the smart thing and stopped playing :D
-
Yes plz!
I was super disheartened when I realized it was 3 misses in one match, not 3 misses period. It's just not something I get to do very often as I never liked Dead Hard and short of having a killer just take greedy swings and hope they screw them up, there's not a very reliable way to get missed swings at you :(
-
I purchased a new birb feeder over the winter (the big wood one)
I didn't get the pic but a Cardinal was on it yesterday. Which made me excited cause usually the big birds can't fit on my feeders, which is why I bought the big box feeder as they can now land on something.
I'm excited to see it already worked and will hopefully have many a big birbs to share this year. We need a happy forum!
EDIT: Also for your Puffin lore, supposedly Porgs in Star Wars (the little fellas on Luke's island in the new trilogy) exist because there were so many puffins on the island that it was easier to replace them with CGI creatures (which became the Porg) than it was to either remove them from the area or erase them from the movie).
-
I want Upvotes!!!!
Uh...you're wrong because...uh...
...
UPVOTE ME!
Terminator would work though just fine. Although I've always said that you could fit literally anything into the game as long as you had at least a little bit of imagination. Though I don't think you'd need imagination for Terminator cause he a scary MoFo!
-
Maybe I'm just a dum dum but I do not really get this event at all
So I go grab a blob of blood and then move it to pillar of blood and then it creates a circle and if you do stuff in that small circle, you get a few extra points from it? Like, I smacked someone and I got like...50 extra BP from it. Which I guess is better than 0 BP from it but unless everyone is going to run into the circles instead of doing stuff to try to survive, they seem kind of super worthless.

I'm talking about stepping on the last survivor alive for no reason, when there is no one left. I'm talking about blocking a survivor against a wall for no reason, holidn the game hostage. Working with survivor to find the other survivor. Just examples.
The first thing is not against the rules (T-bagging/stomping/whatever you want to call it)
The other two however can be pending the context (like bodyblocking a survivor so you can throw up on them as Plague isn't against the rules but body blocking a survivor so they can't play for 20 minutes is) so I don't know what to tell ya if you're doing the reporting, submitting the video evidence stuff, and still not seeing action taken.
-
You don't go into detail but since you do specifically mention that cheating is the only thing being punished...
Most of what people consider "toxic" in the game (camping, slugging, flashlight bully squads, etc) are not against the rules. In terms of toxicity, the only thing that would really fall under that umbrella that would be against the rules (unless you count cheating as toxicity, which I guess kind of fair but I see cheating as its own thing) are EGC threats/isms).
-
I doubt that it's going to happen personally
Sure, in many cases it would be great but there are some perks that would become down right radioactive and no one is going to want to queue up with people running them (think Self Care or Left Behind, perks that are either "agreed" upon as selfish or straight up "selfish")
Games like Helldiver's are also dealing with the problem of people quitting/kicking teammates not bringing "Meta" stuff, something I think BHVR would very much like to avoid as well.
Fair or not, I just don't think BHVR wants to worry about dealing with that kind of thing

Nothing wrong with that.
I'll bounce if I don't think the team will be able to make a save, people won't heal up for a guaranteed save, etc.
I'll also bounce if I'm just trying to play/escape a bunch of games in a row.
Sometimes I'll be super altruistic, but that's generally of the team inspires me...it's pretty great when people take hits or body block for me as a solo, so I try to pay it forward.
I have so much BP that I have everyone (except the new peeps obviously) above level 3 so I'm more than willing to throw my life away on a 10% chance to save someone. Sure, 90% of the time all I do is get myself killed but the 10% times that works, those are way cooler stories! :D
-
As a rule, no
However, I will for a variety of reasons. If it's basically unwinnable (like you got put in the basement with Bubba) or if you somehow irked me as a player in the game (namely I'm injured on death hook while you haven't been hooked and you are hiding).
Even if I have a daily to escape, I'm a pretty selfless (or dumb!) player who will do everything I can to save you

Because of the link go self-harming and suicide. The Shattered Bottle is less problematic and controversial.
This is what the devs specifically said when they made the change so this isn't Akumakaji guessing or assuming, BHVR themselves stated they changed it to the shattered bottle due to the problematic nature of the noose (namely suicide).
-
I generally will do that if the killer is in the area and clearly wants the hits (if they just stand there or if they're not at the gate, I just go).
However I will say as a survivor, I've had to become wary of killers as well when I give them the hits because a lot of killers have figured out how to be cheeky with it. If they hit you from the side, they have a chance to pick you up (since you fall sideways instead of our of the gate).
That's not illegal or whatever but I imagine many people just leave without letting the killer get any hits for that reason.
-
@Xernoton said:
It's really not that bad. There are perks that really help you out with coordination and that can already turn the game in your favor against most average killers. I always bring Bond and it's absolutely amazing how valuable that perk is. It shows you where your team mates are working on gens, where they are chase (and with that the position of the killer), it shows you what resources they use, where they are when you need a heal and it shows you exactly what they are doing even when they aren't working on objectives.
Major reason I run Bond is it is just as useful telling me where NOT to go as it is to tell me where to go. Survivors working on that gen over there? Injured survivor hiding? Survivor being chased and I don't want to get in the way?
Bond!
-
I want more BP so I tend to go to gens with other people on them
I won't go out of my way to seek them out but if they're there, I'll work on the gen too. Then if I finish the gen with you, you have become my BESTIE and I will die for you.

You're never going to be able to "fix" bad teammates. Sometimes you'll have good teammates. Sometimes you'll have bad teammates. Sometimes you'll have people who should be good who are just farting around that game, playing meme builds, or just having an off night.
The sooner people accept this, the better your time with Solo Queue will be

You get it when you complete all Lights Out challenges and redeem them!
Ooooooh.
I still have one more challenge to do so I didn't notice that
Sorry Dragon, the Birb will likely win but you can be there until I finish the challenge!
-
I don't have the birb. Where do you get the birb!?!
-
Ooooh, I like the dragon! I might actually use this one (currently there is nothing there, I had Dwelf but now that it's not Christmas, I took him down).
-
I've really enjoyed it as well and have been lucky enough to not deal with all the tunneling/camping that so many others seem to be.
As a survivor, I love the aspect of never knowing if I'm safe or not (short of someone else being in a chase but even then, you never know when the survivor might accidentally bring the killer right to you). Some killers certainly could use some tweaking but overall I'm happy with it.
I've only played the one game as a killer (Demodoggo!) and I had lots of fun with it. Not having scratch marks really puts my tracking talents as a killer to the test and frankly, it's just fun to sneak up on survivors.
I'd love for them to keep the mode but alas, it sounds like that is not meant to be. Hopefully it can come back a time or two in the future as they start dinking around with more of these modifier gametypes.
-
-
I have greatly enjoyed the mode. Maybe it's my region or I'm just lucky but I've only had a few matches have a killer camping and tunneling off the hook, which has made the mode an absolute blast.
-
Hard Disagree
I'm loving the No TR mode. Honestly, it might be more balanced but I think it would be a lot less fun if the killer had even a small terror radius. I'm enjoying running around in the dark only to realize I just ran straight into the killers arms :D

I am embarrassed that I saw this on Twitter and didn't recognize what Ghibli scene you were referring to until I saw it again now...

Oppression doesn’t count as a regression event aside from the one you kicked.
So don’t blame Oppression when you’re the one who hated the gen >:(
Wait, really?
Dang, F that gen I guess! It kept being low but kicking it let me activate my Oppression on other gens.
Although that's good to know Oppression doesn't count to the 8 kicks and does explain why I've only seen the blocker stuff once...
EDIT: You know, now that I think about that match, this does make sense. There were two BPS in play and one survivor AFK so while I didn't FARM Farm, I did my normal setup in these matches where I play normal but don't actually death hook survivors. So I was kicking gens a lot more as I just broke off chases really quick if I saw a unkicked gen.
-
I've hit the limit once using Oppression/Kicks. Evidently Oppression really hated that gen or something.
-
A strange occurrence as usually they're asleep at this time.
-
I've been out due to my body falling apart but I am back at the kitty center so you know what that means...
New kitties!!! Not only were the last ones adopted with a new batch coming in, I missed an entire batch that was brought in and adopted!
So here's the current new batch
